Hello this is my first RMT so...be nice :) lol
This is a random team I put together and they have come along nicely to be honest.
This is just here to save trouble:
Ok I was going to put the Marriland thing here but it isn't letting me, could someone please tell me how, and I will add it later.
Here is a team overview:
Windrider @ Yache Berry
Jolly Nature (252HP/196SDef/60Spd)
Earthquake
Rock Polish
Swords Dance
Baton Pass
My friend Windrider here is defined by Baton Pass. His job is to get a Rock Polish boost up, then as many Swords Dances that are neccesary. This is mainly 2 SDs and 1 RPolish but if it isn't possible I go for 1 SD and one RPolish but the Rock Polish always comes first. If it is not safe to Baton Pass to a teamate he'll take them down with an EQ. Treats that wall him such as Skarm and other Levitate users/Flyers, I BP to Pyro or Shadow or even Assasin. I think Rider is fine but if you think that there is something I should change I will try it out.
Pyro @ Expert Belt
Neutral Nature (252Spd/144Att/108SpA/6Def)
Brave Bird
Stone Edge
Sky Uppercut
Flamethrower
Pyro is a prodominantly physically aligned mixed sweeper. He will normally come out towards the start and will use his superior attack power to attack opponents. Due to the superior speed of other sweepers, the Baton Pass Rock Polish boost is very helpful putting him at a higher speed than basically every opponent. He can also use the Swords Dance Boost to raise a STABed Sky Uppercut to about 250 base power. Brave Bird may change to Earthquake. I chose a Neutral Nature because at the time I didn't want to lower his defences anymore. Even so he still works well in battle. I think the set covers 9 types with Brave Bird, and 11 with EQ. Flamethrower for Special STAB. Sky Uppercut for physical STAB ad a powerful hit with Baton Passed Swords Dances. Rock Polish is for Flyers and Brave Bird is to hit Fighting Pokemon hard.
Magical @ Choice Specs
Modest Nature (252SpA/6SpD/252Spd)
Trick
Psychic
Grass Knot
Shadow Ball
Personally, I am not really a fan of choice items. They are very restricting and often require a switch in one game which is done by causing yourself damage or sacrifice. There isn't much to say amount Magical as it is a standard Special Sweeper, being able to Trick Choice Items onto foes. At first I was dissapointed with Magical and was maybe going to change him for a TimidZam or other special sweepers or even an Exploding Shiftry however Magical often proves its worth with its crazy Attack stat that destroys most foes with a non-resisted Psychic. Those that resist Psychic such as Metagross is hit with a neutral Shadow Ball. And if I'm up against a heavy or Grass weak pokemon (Not Vaporeon 'cause its quite light), Grass Knot.
Shadow @ Quick Claw/Leftovers
Impish Nature (252HP/84Att/56Def/112SpD)
Pain Split
Shadow Punch
Thunder Punch
Will O Wisp
Shadow is one pokemon that never disappoints. It always can hold its own for long times and as pointless evolution it is, the Attack stat does help. As second in line to receive Riders Baton Passes he recieves them when it isn't safe for Pyro to switch into the predicted attack, e.g Surf. Shadow however is so bulky that he can take most hits with ease. The Rock Polish is helpful as it now outruns the majority of Pokemon, and 2 RP's outruns probably all nonboosted Pokemon (-crazy speed demons such as Ninjask). The Attack bonus from Swords Dance makes him into a half sweeper taking down most in one hit. He'd be a half sweeper due to the small coverage. Shadow Punch for STAB, Thunder Punch for Shadow Punch resistors and Gyrados. Will O Wisp is to cripple physical attackers or just chip a bit of health off. Pain Split is a half recovery move that will either set up team mates for an easy kill or combined with Quick Claw has saved me from I few defeats.
Asssasin @ Focus Sash
Jolly Nature (252Spd/252Att/6Def)
Swords Dance
Ice Punch
Night Slash
Brick Break
Assasin is quite the typical Weavile. He is there as a late game killer that I keep back in reserve until the end (First up: Pyro, then Magical then Assasin). I do not like 1HP sweeping so I only Swords Dance if the opponent lack priority moves and is slower or is not a threat. Rider can Baton Pass Swords Dances and Pock Polishes to save him the trouble of using his own Swords Dance. Ice Punch gets Flyers and Ground and the odd Grass Type, Night Slash for Psychics and Ghosts, Brick Break is for those that resist both, such as Heatran.
Lanty @ Leftovers/Rindo Berry/Shuca Berry
(Girl) Timid Nature (40HP/156Def/112SpA/120SpD/80Spd)
Surf
Thunder Wave
Confuse Ray
Attract
Here we he Lanty who is a full on annoyer. Against boys he will use Paracontraction (correct me if i'm wrong please). And Females and Pokemon with no gender will be hit be the annoying Parafusion. Depending on the Pokemon, first will come the Attraction then either the Confuse Ray or TWave. This gives the opponent a minute chance of attacking and gives Lanty a free switch to someone else or can just wittle their health down with STABed Surfs. He has proven his worth in battle taking on the majority of teams by himself if his teammates are all fainted. I alternate between the items. Rindo Berry to defend against Grass Types but Shuca Berry for the popular Earthquake.
