I don't think we have anything in the works for PLA - so this would be interesting to see - go for it
I would like to reserve an article covering the Gen 9 damage formula. I'm currently working on revising my old Generation 7 article on the damage formula, updating with Gen 9 mechanics and new research insights. I previously published with Trainer Tower: https://web.archive.org/web/2022121...nertower.com/dawoblefets-damage-dissertation/
This would be a technical write-up, but not as technical as the old BW damage formula article. See above for an example of my style.
