[OVERVIEW]

Fraxure is a great physical wallbreaker and sweeper thanks to its offensive typing, good coverage moves, excellent ability, access to Dragon Dance, and base 117 Attack stat. Its main niche is wallbreaking with a Choice Band set that hits very hard with STAB Outrage. Poison Jab, Stomping Tantrum, and Low Kick allow it to hit Fairy- and Steel-types. Mold Breaker is easily Fraxure's best ability, allowing it to bypass many abilities on opposing Pokemon that would otherwise trouble it like Bronzor's Levitate and Pyukumuku's Unaware. Dragon Dance reinforces Fraxure's sweeping capabilities; even with its already high base 117 Attack stat, a Dragon Dance set helps Fraxure to overcome its middling Speed tier and sweep. A boosted Z-Move like Devastating Drake or All-Out Pummeling lets Fraxure overpower certain checks like physically defensive Mareanie and Golem. Fraxure does face some competition in ZU from other offensive Dragon-types like Silvally-Dragon and Hakamo-o. Hakamo-o has a better defensive typing and is able to use Bulk Up, while Silvally-Dragon is naturally faster, can pivot with U-turn, and has access to Defog. There are also other physical wallbreakers that give Fraxure competition, like Golem and Komala. Fraxure's lack of reliable recovery and low base Speed can leave it vulnerable to common wallbreakers if entry hazards are on the field. Dragon Dance sets are also easily revenge killed by Choice Scarf users like Electivire and Sawsbuck due to Fraxure's mediocre Speed. While Fraxure can hit Pokemon like Granbull, Mawile, and Metang, they can use their Fairy and Steel typings to pivot into Outrage or Poison Jab and potentially get a free turn. Even if it predicts correctly, Fraxure needs an Attack boost from Dragon Dance or Choice Band to do serious damage to these threats. Even with Eviolite, the plethora of wallbreakers in the metagame can still manage to heavily pressure Fraxure. To make matters worse, Knock Off users like Komala and Machoke can remove Fraxure's Eviolite and suddenly make it less bulky.

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========
Outrage is Fraxure's strongest STAB move that hits anything that doesn't resist it hard, like defensive Golem and Gourgeist-XL. Stomping Tantrum helps Fraxure to break past the Steel-types of the tier like Bronzor, Mawile, Pawniard, and Metang. Poison Jab hits the Fairy-types that are immune to Outrage like Granbull, Mr. Mime, and Shiinotic. Low Kick hits bulkier Pokemon like Lickilicky, Bouffalant, and Golem. Dragon Claw is a STAB option that can be used over Low Kick. It's not as powerful as Outrage, but Fraxure won't be locked into it and can switch out after one use.

Set Details
========
An Adamant nature and an EV spread of 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe is preferred for attacking power, but Jolly can be chosen to outspeed foes like Komala and Butterfree. Mold Breaker ignores other abilities like Bronzor's Levitate and Pyukumuku's Unaware, which reinforces Fraxure's capabilities as a wallbreaker.

Usage Tips
========
Outrage is best not used until all Steel- and Fairy-types are out of commission, so as to avoid being locked into it against a foe that resists or is immune to it. Instead, using Dragon Claw is preferred until said foes are gone. Fraxure also doesn't like being locked into Outrage against more offensive teams, since it becomes an easier target for revenge killers such as Floatzel and Electivire. Predicting switch-ins and catching them with the appropriate coverage move or double switching into a teammate in order to avoid these situations will be important. For example, Stomping Tantrum should be used to hit Mawile and Bronzor, while Low Kick should be used for Golem and Lickilicky. Fraxure should only stay in if can ensure a OHKO or 2HKO against the current foe or a potential incoming threat. Bringing Fraxure in via a slow Volt Switch, U-turn, or Parting Shot is recommended so as to limit the damage it takes as much as possible. Double switching when the opponent is expected to bring in a passive threat like Mareanie is also a good way to bring in Fraxure. It doesn't like being in for long periods of time so as to keep itself healthy for wallbreaking. Because Fraxure is using a Choice Band, it needs to be wary of potential opportunities it can create for setup sweepers if it's locked into the wrong move. For example, if Low Kick is used, Rain Dance Swanna can come in and set up. Keeping Fraxure away from Knock Off users like Komala is wise so it doesn't risk losing its Choice Band and its wallbreaking capabilities with it. Trick and Switcheroo users like Floatzel and Rotom-S can also take away its Choice Band.

Team Options
========
Fraxure fits best on offensive teams in need of a strong physical wallbreaker that resists elemental move types like Fire, Grass, Water, and Electric. While it has the moves to deal with Fairy- and Steel-types, Fraxure cannot always take them on in case it predicts incorrectly. Therefore, having a Poison- or Fighting-type like Curse Muk or Silvally-Fighting as a teammate helps it out greatly. Additional good teammates include Magnet Pull Alolan Golem and Probopass, which can trap Steel-types for Fraxure. Entry hazard removal is critical to keeping Fraxure healthy, so having a teammate that can perform this role like Komala, Sandslash, or Silvally-Poison is highly beneficial. Teammates such as Combusken, Simisear, and Poliwrath that can take care of the Ice-types of the tier like Avalugg, Beartic, Regice, and Glaceon are appreciated. Bringing Fraxure in through a Volt Switch, U-turn, or Parting Shot user like Electivire or Silvally-Fighting limits the damage it takes and give it more chances to wallbreak. Entry hazard setters like Mareanie, Golem, and Bronzor can set Toxic Spikes and Stealth Rock to wear down the opposing teams and make Fraxure's wallbreaking job easier. Setup sweepers like Combusken and Swanna make for great teammates, since Fraxure can break down walls like Lickilicky or Pyukumuku that would otherwise halt their sweeping chances. Revenge killers like Kadabra and Choice Scarf Electivire can pick off Fraxure, so teammates that can deal with these threats like Bouffalant, Granbull, and Choice Scarf Mr. Mime are appreciated. Mr. Mime can also use Healing Wish to restore any lost HP or unwanted status condition that Fraxure has incurred. Lastly, teammates that can absorb Knock Off like Silvally-Fighting, Granbull, and Mawile help Fraxure out greatly.

[SET]

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========
Stomping Tantrum hits annoying Steel-types like Bronzor, Mawile, and Metang. Low Kick is a decent alternative to Stomping Tantrum that allows Fraxure to hit bulky Normal- and Rock-types like Lickilicky, Bouffalant, and Golem harder. Poison Jab gives Fraxure a fighting chance against Fairy-types like Mr. Mime, Granbull, and Shiinotic.

Set Details
========
252 EVs in Attack and Speed maximize Fraxure's damage output and speed, which helps it to sweep. With a Jolly nature, Fraxure can outspeed threats like Floatzel and Simipour after a Dragon Dance boost and hit them before they can retaliate with their respective Ice-type moves. If running an Adamant nature, Fraxure can 2HKO defensive Golem after Stealth Rock and a Dragon Dance boost. Mold Breaker is a blessing for Fraxure, as it lets it bypass otherwise problematic abilities like Bronzor's Levitate and Pyukumuku's Unaware. Eviolite is the recommended item to give this set a much-needed boost in its Defense and Special Defense. Alternatively, Dragonium Z turns Outrage into Devastating Drake, granting Fraxure a one-time nuke for physically defensive threats like Golem, Gourgeist-XL, and Poliwrath.

Usage Tips
========
Dragon Dance should be used mid- or -late game in order to maximize Fraxure's effectiveness. Ensuring that all of the opponent's Fairy- and Steel-types are gone is essential before using Outrage so as to avoid being locked into it and leaving Fraxure open to status afflictions. Other checks to Fraxure like physically defensive Golem also must be weakened for Outrage to be effective. Ensuring that all entry hazards are gone is also essential for Fraxure's sweeping chances, since it has no reliable recovery, and poison from Toxic Spikes puts it on a timer. Bringing Fraxure in via a pivot should always be the norm, since preserving its HP will be of the utmost importance for its sweeping chances. Fraxure values its Eviolite and would rather not have it removed via Knock Off, Trick, or Switcheroo. Therefore, keeping it away from the likes of Mr. Mime and Floatzel is very wise. Aside from the downside of losing its Eviolite, Fraxure doesn't want to stomach a Knock Off from Komala anyway. Fraxure will generally want to set up on Choice-locked Pokemon, like Floatzel using a Water-type move and Electivire locked into Wild Charge or Flamethrower, or Pokemon with a severely lowered attacking stat, like Zebstrika after it has used Overheat, since any follow-up move used by such Pokemon will not hit Fraxure very hard due to its Eviolite.

Team Options
========
Safe entry onto the field is a must for every time Fraxure attempts to set up. Slow pivots that can use U-turn and Volt Switch, like Komala and Alolan Golem, can bring Fraxure in safely. Having the field free of entry hazards is something else that Fraxure appreciates. Examples of teammates that can help with hazard control include Komala, Sandslash, Swanna, and Rotom-S, while Mareanie and Muk can absorb Toxic Spikes for Fraxure. Having entry hazards on the opponent's side of the field gives Fraxure an easier time sweeping, so Stealth Rock setters like Golem, Bronzor, Mawile, and Metang pair well. Since Fraxure is a setup sweeper and runs the risk of getting a nasty status affliction, having a cleric on the team like Healing Wish Mr. Mime, Heal Bell + Wish Lickilicky, or even Heal Bell Granbull can be beneficial to give it a second chance at sweeping. Since Will-O-Wisp from Gourgeist-XL derails any hopes of Fraxure sweeping the opposing team, Pokemon that can absorb burns or beat Gourgeist-XL make for great teammates. Examples include Z-Rain Dance Swanna, Combusken, and Rapidash. Choice Scarf users like Swanna, Electivire, Rapidash, and Silvally can all can be a headache for Fraxure, as they can outspeed Adamant sets even after two Dragon Dances. Therefore, teammates like defensive Golem, Choice Scarf Electivire, and Mareanie help Fraxure greatly, since they can deal with these threats. A teammate that can provide dual screens support like Electrode or Meowstic is great for Fraxure, especially if it's on a hyper offensive team, to give it that extra bulk needed to stomach more hits while setting up.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============
A Swords Dance set can be viable because it doesn't burden Fraxure by locking it into a move while sending its Attack to sky-high levels, but Fraxure misses out on gaining the Speed that Dragon Dance boosts provide, not to mention that Fraxure has no priority moves to hit threats faster than it. Superpower is a possible alternative to Low Kick for guaranteed power, but it has the added cost of lowering Fraxure's Attack and Defense, both of which it does not sit well with. On the Dragon Dance set, having Substitute as a utility option can pay off, as it doesn't require Fraxure to predict as much and allows it to avoid unwanted status. This will cost Fraxure a coverage move, however. Futhermore, Fraxure's bulk is not all that great, which limits the opportunities that it has to set up a Substitute. Taunt is a nice utility move that, when combined with Mold Breaker, makes Fraxure a threat to defensive teams.

Checks and Counters
===================
**Steel-types**: Despite Fraxure's ability to deal with them via coverage moves, pesky Steel-types like Bronzor, Mawile, and Metang can give it trouble, especially if it's locked into Poison Jab or Outrage. They all do need to be wary of Stomping Tantrum, however.

**Fairy-types**: Fairy-types such as Granbull, Shiinotic, and Mr. Mime can all come in on Fraxure's moves at a risk. However, Granbull can handle only one Poison Jab and Shiinotic cannot handle one at all, although Mawile can wall Fraxure almost completely.

**Gourgeist-XL**: Gourgeist-XL, with its annoyingly high physical bulk, manages to take hits from either of Fraxure's sets, burn it, and then recover its lost HP. However, Gourgeist-XL does need to be wary of Devastating Drake hitting it hard.

**Faster Pokemon**: Choice Scarf users like Electivire, Silvally, Chatot, and Mr. Mime can outspeed Fraxure at +1 and use moves like Ice Punch, Double-Edge, Boomburst, and Dazzling Gleam to revenge kill it.

**Residual Damage**: All forms of entry hazards affect Fraxure. They're a problem especially if Fraxure is running the Dragon Dance set, since Toxic poison from Toxic Spikes puts it on a timer.

Overall pretty good. I would recommend becoming more familiar with the term fluff when it comes to analysis writing. Back when I started writing for CAP fluff was something I struggled with and I think it'd definitely help you if you familiarized yourself with it.

[OVERVIEW]
  • Fraxure is a great physical wallbreaker thanks to its offensive and defensive typing, access to coverage moves, ability in Mold Breaker, access to Dragon Dance for sweeping, and its base 117 Attack stat.
  • Due to its Dragon-typing, it hits most types neutrally and resists elemental-typings in Fire, Water, Grass, and Electric.
  • Since it does not hit everything cleanly like Fairy-, and Steel-types, it gets decent coverage moves like Poison Jab and Stomping Tantrum, and Superpower to hit these types. Mention some pokemon it's hitting with these
  • Mold Breaker is easily its best ability. Allowing it to bypass many abilites on opposing Pokemon that would otherwise give it a fit like Bronzor's Levitate and Pyukumuku's Unaware.
  • Dragon Dance is what gives Fraxure the ability to be practically unstoppable and reinforce its sweeping capabilities. Even with its already high base 117 Attack stat, Dragon Dance is just making it better in addition to helping it in the Speed department.
  • It does face some competition in ZU with other offensive Dragon-types like Silvally-Dragon, Hakamo-o, and Gabite. Hakamo-o is able to use Bulk Up while Gabite can potentially function as a Choice Scarf user. Gabite offensive set is its offensive rocks set so scrap the choice Scarf mention.
  • While it can still hit them, Pokemon like Granbull, Mawile, and Metang can use their Fairy- and Steel-typings to eat up an Outrage or a Poison Jab and potentially get a free turn. Fraxure isn't really able to threaten these pokemon unless it has a boost up so I'd talk about that instead.
  • Its bulk is not the greatest with a slash line of 66 HP / 70 Def / 50 SpD even though Eviolite helps it out. What's worse is that it's a removable item and can easily be worn down. Mention knock off users threatening Fraxure
Add a separate bullet about how fraxure has no form of reliable recovery and how easily worn down it is.

  • Outrage is Fraxure's strongest STAB move that allows it to hit anything hard that doesn't resist it like defensive Golem and Gourgeist-XL.
  • Stomping Tantrum is a neat coverage move that helps Fraxure with the Steel-types of the tier like Bronzor, Mawile, Pawniard, and Metang.
  • Poison Jab is also a nice coverage move that hits the Fairy-types like Granbull, Mr.Mime, and Shiinotic since all of them are immune to Outrage.
  • Low Kick is a move that hits the bulkier Pokemon that hate Fighting-type moves like Lickilicky, Bouffalant, Golem, and Vigoroth.
  • Dragon Claw is a STAB option over Low Kick. It's not as powerful as Outrage, but Fraxure isn't mindlessly locked into it and can switch out after one use.
Set Details
========
  • An Adamant nature and a slash line of 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe is preferred for attacking power, but Jolly can be chosen for the extra boost of Speed to outspeed foes like Komala and Rampardos. I don't really think Rampardos is relevant here. I would mention another pokemon it outspeeds that's important with its jolly nature
  • Mold Breaker's ability to go through other abilities like Bronzor's Levitate and Pyukumuku's Unaware to make them easier to defeat reinforces Fraxure's capabilities as a wallbreaker.
Usage Tips
========
  • Fraxure fits best on offensive teams needing a strong physical wallbreaker that resists elemental moves like Fire, Grass, Water, and Electric. This sounds like it belongs in Team options.
  • Since Outrage is a Dragon-type move, it is best not to be used until all Steel- and Fairy-types are out of commission so as to avoid being locked into it and force to switch out. It is a 2-3 turn move as well, so using Dragon Claw is preferred until said types are gone. Addtionally mention that fraxure doesn't like to be locked into outrage against more offensive teams because it becomes an easier target for revenge killers.
  • Fraxure isn't the fastest. Even with a Jolly nature, it's only hitting 256 in Speed. Because of this, if Fraxure is going up against something faster than it, it needs to be able to tank one of its moves. The fact that a Choice Band is Fraxure's item and not Eviolite reinforces this fact.
  • While it's not required, bringing it in via a slow Volt Switch, U-turn, or Parting Shot is recommended so as to limit the damage on Fraxure as much as possible. mention here that Fraxure doesn't like to stay in for long periods of time either
  • Because Fraxure is using a Choice Band, it needs to be wary of potential set up sweepers if it's locked into the wrong move. For example, if Low Kick is chosen, a sweeper like Rain Dance Swanna can come in and set up with its Z-move and proceed to sweep.
Mention that Fraxure should avoid losing its choice band via knock off or Trick
Team Options
========
  • While it has the moves to deal with Fairy- and Steel-types, Fraxure cannot always deal with them. Therefore, having a Poison- or Fighting-type like Choice Band Muk or Silvally-Fighting as a teammate helps it out greatly. Don't limit this bullet to just Poison- and Fighting-types. Mention pokemon other than Poison and fighting types here as well like Golem-A
  • Should it ever be locked into Outrage, poison from Toxic Spikes can shorten its lifespan in those 2-3 turns. Toxic Spikes absorbers or hazard removal partners like Komala, Muk, Mareanie, or Silvally-Water help it out. Ax this whole bullet point and just mention removers due to it not liking being worn down in general.
  • This set is all about attacker power and a burn instantly ruins any hope Fraxure has of dealing serious damage. Because of this, a teammate that can absorb a Will-O-Wisp or Scald like Komala, Floatzel, or Bronzor give it a much-needed hand. Mention how Bronzor is a notable teamate due to it resisting Ice-type moves and its utility in Stealth Rock and Toxic
  • Something to take care of the Ice-types of the tier like Avalugg, Beartic, Regice, and Glaceon is appreciated. Examples of these teammates include Combusken, Simisear, or Poliwrath.
  • A Wish-passer or Healing Wish user like Lickilicky or Mr.Mime, respectively, can give Fraxure a second chance at being a dominant threat and heal any lost HP or status.
  • Bringing Fraxure in through a Volt Switch, U-turn, or Parting Shot user like Electivire, Silvally-Fighting, or Silvally-Ghost can minimize damage on it and give it more chances to deal damage.
Mention hazard setters since Fraxure likes to have that hazard chip to ensure easier KOs.
Mention Set up sweepers like Combusken and Swanna that like to have some of their walls removed
Fraxure despises revenge killers such as Kadabra and Electivire so pokemon that can effectively handle these should be included
Mention Pokemon that can absorb knock off, trick, switcheroo.

Moves
========
  • Dragon Dance gives Fraxure boosts to its Attack and Speed allowing it punch holes in opposing teams and allowing it to sweep mid-to-late game.
  • Outrage is a powerful STAB move that can OHKO or 2HKO the majority of the metagame.
  • Stomping Tantrum is a decent coverage move that lets Fraxure stand a chance against the annoying Steel-types like Bronzor, Mawile, and Metang.
  • Low Kick is also a decent alternative coverage move to Stomping Tantrum that allows Fraxure to better hit bulky Normal-, and Rock-types like Lickilicky, Bouffalant, and Golem.
  • Lastly, Poison Jab gives Fraxure a fighting chance against the Fairy-types of the metagame like Mr.Mime, Granbull, and Shiinotic.
Set Details
========
  • 252 EVs in Attack and Speed along with a choice in Adamant or a Jolly nature maximizes Fraxure's damage output and speed and serves as its means of sweeping.
  • Mold Breaker is a blessing for Fraxure as it lets it bypass otherwise problematic abilities like Levitate or Unaware which would put a crimp in Fraxure's sweeping hopes.
  • Since Fraxure is a not fully evolved Pokemon, Eviolite is its best item for this set giving it a much-needed boost in its Defense and Special Defense.
Usage Tips
========
  • This version of Fraxure is meant for one thing, setup sweeping. It has Dragon Dance for this reason and should be used mid to late game to maximize effectiveness.
  • Because of this, ensuring any and all Fairy-, and Steel-types are gone is essential before Outrage is used so as to avoid being locked into it and leaving itself open to any status afflictions.
  • Ensuring all entry hazards are gone is also essential for Fraxure's sweeping chances since it has no reliable recovery and poison from Toxic Spikes put its lifespan on a timer.
  • Bringing Fraxure in via pivot should always be the norm since preserving its HP will be of the utmost importance in its sweeping chances.
Mention how fraxure dislikes having Eviolite removed via trick and Knock off.
Team Options
========
  • Safe entry onto the field will be a must every time. Therefore, having a pivot that can use U-turn or Volt Switch like Komala, Silvally-Fighting, Electivire, or Zebstrika make great teammates here. Prioritize and make note of mentioning the slower U-turn and Volt Switch users first.
  • In addition to being brought in safely, having the field free of any and all entry hazards is something Fraxure would appreciate. Examples of hazard control teammates include Komala, Sandslash, Swanna, and Rotom-S provide Rapid Spin and Defog support, respectively. Mareanie and Muk are examples of teammates that can absorb and remove Toxic Spikes should they be there.
  • On the other side of the coin, having entry hazards on the opponent's side gives Fraxure as easier time when sweeping, so teammates like Golem, Bronzor, Mawile, or Metang provide Stealth Rock support here.
  • Since Fraxure is a setup sweeper here and runs the potential risk of getting a nasty status affliction, having a cleric on the team like Mr.Mime or Lickilicky give it a second chance to take a run at sweeping.
  • Since a Will-O-Wisp from Gourgeist-XL derails any hopes of Fraxure sweeping the opposing team, having a way to absorb it or beat Gourgeist-XL makes a great teammate. Examples include Komala, Floatzel or Combusken.
  • The Choice Scarfers of the meta in Electivire, Rapidash, and Silvally all can be a headache for Fraxure as they can outspeed it even after 2 Dragon Dances and an Adamant nature. Therefore, a teammate like defensive Golem helps it greatly. Mention choice Swanna here as well
Mention Pokemon like Z-move users and Silvally-Formes that can absorb a knock-off, Trick, or Switcheroo.
[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============
  • A Swords Dance set can be viable, but Fraxure misses out on gaining Speed that Dragon Dance provides; not to mention that Fraxure has no priority moves to hit threats faster than it.
  • Running a set with a Z-item like Dragonium Z can also work wonders, however, Fraxure misses out on the Eviolite benefits as well as Z-Outrage being a one-time usage move.
Mention Life Orb over Choice Band here
I'd say its worth mentioning Superpower down here since its a viable option over lowkick
Mention Substitute on the Dragon Dance set since it can help fraxure avoid status and requires less prediction

Checks and Counters
===================

**Gourgeist-XL**: Even with both sets, Gourgeist-XL and its annoying physical bulk still manages to take hits from Fraxure, subsequently burn it, and then recover lost HP.

**Steel-types**: Despite being able to deal with them, pesky Steel-types like Bronzor, Mawile, and Metang can give Fraxure fits; especially if it's choice-locked into Poison Jab or Outrage. They all do need to be wary of Stomping Tantrum, however.

**Fairy-types**: As with Steel-types, Fairy-types such as Granbull, Shiinotic, and Mawile can all potentially take a risk and come in on Fraxure's moves. Granbull and Shiinotic cannot handle a Poison Jab though, whereas Mawile can almost wall Fraxure completely.

**Faster Pokemon**: If running the Dragon Dance Choice Band set, Choice Scarf users like Electivire, Silvally, Chatot, and Mr.Mime can all come in safely and use moves like Ice Punch, Explosion, Boomburst, or Dazzling Gleam, respectively and shorten Fraxure's lifespan. I don't really see how a majority of the pokemon can come in safely on the Choice Band set. Did you perhaps mean the Dragon Dance set? Either way the Dragon dance makes more sense since the opponent can predict and switch on the DD turn and throw off either of the moves you've mentioned.

  • Fraxure is a great physical wallbreaker thanks to its offensive and defensive typing, access to coverage moves, ability in Mold Breaker, access to Dragon Dance, and its base 117 Attack stat. Mention Choice Band. Breaking with CB is its main niche.
  • Since it does not hit everything cleanly like Fairy-, and Steel-types, it gets decent coverage moves like Poison Jab and Stomping Tantrum, and Superpower to hit these types. Poison Jab is hitting switch-ins like Granbull and Shiinotic, Stomping Tantrum hits Bronzor and Mawile, while Superpower is hitting tanks like Lickilicky.
  • Mold Breaker is easily its best ability. Allowing it to bypass many abilites on opposing Pokemon that would otherwise give it a fit like Bronzor's Levitate and Pyukumuku's Unaware.
  • Dragon Dance is what reinforces its sweeping capabilities. Even with its already high base 117 Attack stat, Dragon Dance is just making it better in addition to helping it in the Speed department. Not really saying much here. Instead, say that Eviolite DD is an option over CB to help Fraxure overcome its middling Speed tier and sweep
  • It does face some competition in ZU with other offensive Dragon-types like Silvally-Dragon, Hakamo-o, and Gabite. Hakamo-o is able to use Bulk Up while Gabite functions as an offensive Stealth Rocker. Hakamo-o example works, offensive Gabite is not really used so that should be removed. Also, because competition from other Dragon-types is not really a big negative for Fraxure, mention other wallbreakers that give Fraxure competition.
  • While it can still hit them, Pokemon like Granbull, Mawile, and Metang can use their Fairy- and Steel-typings to eat up an Outrage or a Poison Jab and potentially get a free turn. Granted Fraxure does need an Attack boost to serious damage to these threats. Need to specify CB here if that's what you're talking about.
  • Its bulk is not the greatest with a slash line of 66 HP / 70 Def / 50 SpD even though Eviolite helps it out. To make matters worse, Knock Off users like Shiftry, Komala, and Machoke can remove Fraxure's Eviolite and suddenly make it less relevant. Fluff. Can say that even with Eviolite, the plethora of wallbreakers in the tier heavily pressure Fraxure.
  • Reliable recovery is also an issue since it has none. Because of this, entry hazards combined with its subpar Speed can potentially be a recipe for disaster. Its low Speed makes it vulnerable to common wallbreakers as well. Should be the first negative point listed.

  • Mold Breaker's ability to go through other abilities like Bronzor's Levitate and Pyukumuku's Unaware to make them easier to defeat reinforces Fraxure's capabilities as a wallbreaker. CB already ignores Unaware. Mention offensive Golem's Sturdy here instead
    252+ Atk Choice Band Mold Breaker Fraxure Low Kick (120 BP) vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Golem: 318-376 (105.6 - 124.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Usage Tips
========
  • Outrage is best not to be used until all Steel- and Fairy-types are out of commission so as to avoid being locked into it. It is a 2-3 turn move as well, so using Dragon Claw is preferred until said types are gone. Fraxure also doesn't like being locked into Outrage against more offensive teams since it makes itself an easier target for revenge killers. Add a point after this explaining that Fraxure should predict incoming switch-ins and catch them with appropriate coverage or doubling into a teammate.
  • Fraxure isn't the fastest. Even with a Jolly nature, it's only hitting 256 in Speed. Because of this, if Fraxure is going up against something faster than it, it needs to be able to tank one of its moves. Give an example of what Fraxure would stay in against
  • While it's not required, bringing it in via a slow Volt Switch, U-turn, or Parting Shot is recommended so as to limit the damage on Fraxure as much as possible. It also doesn't like being in for long periods of time so as to keep itself healthy for wallbreaking.
  • Because Fraxure is using a Choice Band, it needs to be wary of potential set up sweepers if it's locked into the wrong move. For example, if Low Kick is chosen, a sweeper like Rain Dance Swanna can come in and set up with its Z-move and proceed to sweep.
  • Keeping it away from Knock Off users like Shiftry and Komala is wise so Fraxure doesn't risk losing its Choice Band and putting a damper on its wallbreaking capabilities. Trick or Switcheroo users like Floatzel or Rotom-S can also take away its Choice Band with their respective move.
Team Options
========
  • Fraxure fits best on offensive teams needing a strong physical wallbreaker that resists elemental moves like Fire, Grass, Water, and Electric.
  • While it has the moves to deal with Fairy- and Steel-types, Fraxure cannot always deal with them. Therefore, having a Poison- or Fighting-type like Choice Band Muk or Silvally-Fighting as a teammate helps it out greatly. Additional teammates include ones that can trap Steel-types like Magnet Pull Alolan Golem and Probopass.
  • Entry hazard removal is critical to Fraxure staying healthy, so having a teammate that can do this like Komala, Sandslash, or Silvally-Poison can Rapid Spin or Defog hazards away.
  • This set is all about attacker power and a burn instantly ruins any hope Fraxure has of dealing serious damage. Because of this, a teammate that can absorb a Will-O-Wisp or Scald like Komala, Floatzel, or Bronzor give it a much-needed hand. Bronzor is preferred since it can resist Ice-type moves, set Stealth Rock, and cripple opponents with Toxic. While this is true information, Fraxure is never going to stay in on WoW users so this point isn't really needed.
Can mention Mr. Mime in the point about revenge killers. Wish Licky is too passive for offense.
  • Bringing Fraxure in through a Volt Switch, U-turn, or Parting Shot user like Electivire, Silvally-Fighting, or Silvally-Ghost can minimize damage on it and give it more chances to deal damage.
  • Entry hazard setters like Mareanie, Golem, or Bronzor can set Toxic Spikes or Stealth Rock to wear down opposing teams and make Fraxure's breaking job easier.
  • Set up sweepers like Combusken and Swanna make great teammates since Fraxure can break down the walls that would otherwise halt their sweeping chances. Such as?
  • Revenge killers like Kadabra and Choice Scarf Electivire can pick off Fraxure so having teammates that can deal with these threats like Bouffalant and Granbull are appreciated.
  • Lastly, teammates that can absorb Knock Off hits like Silvally-Fighting, Granbull, and Mawile help it out greatly. On a similar note, a teammate that can block a Trick or Switcheroo attempt also helps. The previously mentioned Silvally-Fighting or Sticky Hold Muk can get this job done.

Moves
========
  • Dragon Dance gives Fraxure boosts to its Attack and Speed allowing it punch holes in opposing teams and allowing it to sweep mid-to-late game. Fluff
Set Details
========
  • 252 EVs in Attack and Speed along with a choice in Adamant or a Jolly nature maximizes Fraxure's damage output and speed and serves as its means of sweeping. Mention what Jolly outspeeds at +1 that Adamant doesn't
  • Mold Breaker is a blessing for Fraxure as it lets it bypass otherwise problematic abilities like Levitate or Unaware which would put a crimp in Fraxure's sweeping hopes. Give examples
  • Eviolite is its best item for this set giving it a much-needed boost in its Defense and Special Defense.
Usage Tips
========
  • Fraxure values its Eviolite and would rather not have it knocked off or removed via Trick or Switcheroo. Therefore, keeping it away from the likes of Shiftry, Mr.Mime, or Floatzel would be very wise.
Mention what Fraxure should setup against.

Team Options
========
  • Safe entry onto the field will be a must every time. Therefore, having a slow pivot that can use U-turn or Volt Switch like Komala or Alolan Golem can use these respective moves to bring it in safely.
Specify Healing Wish and Heal Bell. Can mention Heal Bell Granbull too since Licky is p passive and not the most suitable Fraxure teammate.
  • Since a Will-O-Wisp from Gourgeist-XL derails any hopes of Fraxure sweeping the opposing team, having a way to absorb it or beat Gourgeist-XL makes a great teammate. Examples include Komala, Floatzel or Combusken. Komala and physical Float (special Floatzel should run swift swin) both lose to Gourg-XL so mention something else such as Z-Rain Dance Swanna.
  • The Choice Scarfers of the meta in Swanna, Electivire, Rapidash, and Silvally all can be a headache for Fraxure as they can outspeed it even after 2 Dragon Dances and an Adamant nature. Therefore, a teammate like defensive Golem helps it greatly. Mention other teammates that check those scarfers (golem is not a reliable scarf swanna check).
  • Teammates that can absorb an incoming Knock Off, Trick, or Switcheroo like Silvally-Fighting or Combusken are greatly appreciated so Fraxure can keep its Eviolite.
[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============
  • A Swords Dance set can be viable, but Fraxure misses out on gaining Speed that Dragon Dance provides; not to mention that Fraxure has no priority moves to hit threats faster than it. Mention why SD is viable and why it'd be used over DD.
  • Running a set with a Z-item like Dragonium Z can also work wonders, however, Fraxure misses out on the Eviolite benefits as well as Z-Outrage being a one-time usage move. Specify the benefits of Eviolite and how Fraxure has much less setup opportunities w/o it
  • Using Life Orb over Choice Band is a possible item to use to allow move freedom. However, this is not ideal since Life Orb takes a little of Fraxure's HP with each hit. Combining this with other residual damage like entry hazards, Toxic poison, burn, and the like just wear it down. Not worth it in this meta.
  • Superpower is a possible alternative to Low Kick for guaranteed more power, but it has the added cost of lowering its own Attack and Defense; both of which Fraxure just cannot sit well with.
  • In terms of the Dragon Dance set, having Substitute as a utility option can pay dividends as it doesn't require Fraxure to predict as much, not to mention avoid an unwanted status. This will cost Fraxure a coverage move, however.
Checks and Counters
===================

**Fairy-types**: Fairy-types such as Granbull, Shiinotic, and Mawile can all potentially take a risk and come in on Fraxure's moves. Granbull and Shiinotic cannot handle a Poison Jab though, whereas Mawile can almost wall Fraxure completely.

**Faster Pokemon**: If running the Dragon Dance set, Choice Scarf users like Electivire, Silvally, Chatot, and Mr.Mime can all come in safely and use moves like Ice Punch, Explosion, Boomburst, or Dazzling Gleam, respectively and shorten Fraxure's lifespan.

Mention residual damage since Fraxure is affected by all hazards and needs to be healthy to setup and not be revenge killed.

[OVERVIEW]
  • Fraxure is a great physical wallbreaker thanks to its offensive typing, access to coverage moves, ability in Mold Breaker, access to Dragon Dance, and its base 117 Attack stat. It main niche is wallbreaking with a Choice Band.
Hmm, mentioning it hitting Bronzor before stating specifically that it's due to its ability seems kinda suspect to me. I would replace Zor mention with something like Metang while still stating that it can bypass Zor Levi with MB in the next point as you have it rn.
  • Mold Breaker is easily its best ability. Allowing it to bypass many abilites on opposing Pokemon that would otherwise give it a fit like Bronzor's Levitate and Pyukumuku's Unaware. Mention that the ladder can make it a huge threat to defensive teams, especially when carrying Taunt.
  • Dragon Dance is what reinforces its sweeping capabilities. Even with its already high base 117 Attack stat, Eviolite Dragon Dance is an option over Choice Band to help Fraxure overcome its middling Speed tier and sweep. I see way more Z-Move DD sets compared to Evio (although it is still quite common), so I would emphasize how Z-moves can let it overpower certain checks like Golem and physdef Mareanie.
  • It does face some competition in ZU with other offensive Dragon-types like Silvally-Dragon and Hakamo-o. Hakamo-o is able to use Bulk Up while Silvally-Dragon is naturally faster. However, there are other physical wallbreakers that give Fraxure competition like Golem and Komala. Also mention the utility that DragonVally provides, with Defog and U-Turn.
  • Reliable recovery is also an issue since it has none. Because of this, entry hazards combined with its subpar Speed can potentially be a recipe for disaster. The low Speed also makes it vulnerable to common wallbreakers. Also specify how DD sets are easily revenge killed due to it's mediocre Speed, meaning Scarfers have an easy time KOing it.
  • While it can still hit them, Pokemon like Granbull, Mawile, and Metang can use their Fairy- and Steel-typings to eat up an Outrage or a Poison Jab and potentially get a free turn. Granted Fraxure does need an Attack boost from Dragon Dance or Choice Band to do serious damage to these threats.
  • Even with Eviolite, the plethora of wallbreakers in the meta still manage to heavily pressure Fraxure. To make matters worse, Knock Off users like Shiftry, Komala, and Machoke can remove Fraxure's Eviolite and suddenly make it less relevant.

Moves
========
  • Low Kick is a move that hits the bulkier Pokemon that hate Fighting-type moves like Lickilicky, Bouffalant, and Golem.
  • Dragon Claw is an STAB option over Low Kick. It's not as powerful as Outrage, but Fraxure isn't mindlessly locked into it and can switch out after one use.
Set Details
========
  • An Adamant nature and a slash line (weird phrasing) of 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe is preferred for attacking power, but Jolly can be chosen for the extra boost of Speed to outspeed foes like Komala and Butterfree.
  • Mold Breaker's ability to go through other abilities like Bronzor's Levitate and Golem's Sturdy to make them easier to defeat reinforces Fraxure's capabilities as a wallbreaker.

  • Predicting incoming switch-ins and catching them with appropriate coverage moves or doubling into a teammate will be important here since, again, being choice-locked into the wrong move can hurt Fraxure. Give examples (ie: Stomping Ttrum to hit Zor + Mawile and Low Kick to hit Golem etc....)
  • Fraxure isn't the fastest. Even with a Jolly nature, it's only hitting 256 in Speed. Because of this, if Fraxure is going up against something faster than it, it needs to be able to tank one of its moves. Staying in to hit a physically-weak Pokemon like Adamant Komala is ok though. I do not like the phrasing in this bullet so I would advise to change it even though I get the point behind it. Just state that Fraxure should only be staying in when it can ensure either an OHKO or 2HKO due to it's poor bulk.
  • While it's not required, bringing it in via a slow Volt Switch, U-turn, or Parting Shot is recommended so as to limit the damage on Fraxure as much as possible. It also doesn't like being in for long periods of time so as to keep itself healthy for wallbreaking.

Therefore, keeping it away from the likes of Shiftry, Mr.Mime, or Floatzel would be very wise. Expand on this by mentioning it not wanting to stomach Knock Off from stuff like Shiftry and Komala as well.
  • Fraxure will want to set up on choice-locked Pokemon like Floatzel using a Water-type move or Pokemon with a severely lowered attacking stat like Zebstrika after an Overheat since any follow-up move used by Pokemon like this will not hit Fraxure very hard due to its Eviolite. You can even mention Scarf Evire locked into Wild Charge as well. 2

Fraxure also doesn't like being locked into Outrage against more offensive teams since it makes itself an easier target for revenge killers. such as? Predicting incoming switch-ins and catching them with appropriate coverage moves or doubling into a teammate will be important here since, again, being choice-locked into the wrong move can hurt Fraxure. For example, Stomping Tantrum should be used to hit Mawile and Bronzor while Low Kick should be used for Golem and Lickilicky. Fraxure should only be staying in if can ensure a OHKO or 2HKO against the current opposing Pokemon or a potential incoming threat. While it's not required, bringing it in via a slow Volt Switch, U-turn, or Parting Shot is recommended so as to limit the damage on Fraxure as much as possible. double switching when the opponent is expected to bring in a passive threat like mareanie is also a good way to bring it in. It also doesn't like being in for long periods of time so as to keep itself healthy for wallbreaking. Because Fraxure is using a Choice Band, it needs to be wary of potential set up sweepers if it's locked into the wrong move. For example, if Low Kick is chosen, a sweeper like Rain Dance Swanna can come in and set up with its Z-move and proceed to sweep. Keeping it away from Knock Off users like Shiftry and Komala is wise so Fraxure doesn't risk losing its Choice Band and putting a damper on its wallbreaking capabilities. Trick or Switcheroo users like Floatzel or Rotom-S can also take away its Choice Band with their respective move.

Team Options

Fraxure fits best on offensive teams needing a strong physical wallbreaker that resists elemental moves like Fire, Grass, Water, and Electric. While it has the moves to deal with Fairy- and Steel-types, Fraxure cannot always deal with them. Therefore, having a Poison- or Fighting-type like Curse Muk or Silvally-Fighting as a teammate helps it out greatly. Additional teammates include ones that can trap Steel-types like Magnet Pull Alolan Golem and Probopass. Entry hazard removal is critical to Fraxure staying healthy, so having a teammate that can do this like Komala, Sandslash, or Silvally-Poison can Rapid Spin or Defog hazards away. Something to take care of the Ice-types of the tier like Avalugg, Beartic, Regice, and Glaceon is appreciated. Examples of these teammates include Combusken, Simisear, or Poliwrath. Bringing Fraxure in through a Volt Switch, U-turn, or Parting Shot user like Electivire, Silvally-Fighting, or Silvally-Ghost R.I.P Silvally-Ghost can minimize damage on it and give it more chances to deal damage. Entry hazard setters like Mareanie, Golem, or Bronzor can set Toxic Spikes or Stealth Rock to wear down opposing teams and make Fraxure's breaking job easier. Set up sweepers like Combusken and Swanna make great teammates since Fraxure can break down the walls in Lickilicky or Pyukumuku that would otherwise halt their sweeping chances. Revenge killers like Kadabra and Choice Scarf Electivire can pick off Fraxure so having teammates that can deal with these threats like Bouffalant, Granbull, and Choice Scarf Mr.Mime are appreciated. Mr.Mime can also use Healing Wish to restore any lost HP and unwanted status. Lastly, teammates that can absorb Knock Off hits like Silvally-Fighting, Granbull, and Mawile help it out greatly. On a similar note, a teammate that can block a Trick or Switcheroo attempt also helps. The previously mentioned Silvally-Fighting or Sticky Hold Muk can get this job done. This isnt especially notable, it can be removed

Stomping Tantrum is a decent coverage move that lets Fraxure stand a chance against the annoying Steel-types like Bronzor, Mawile, and Metang. Low Kick is also a decent alternative coverage move to Stomping Tantrum that allows Fraxure to better hit bulky Normal-, and Rock-types like Lickilicky, Bouffalant, and Golem. Poison Jab gives Fraxure a fighting chance against the Fairy-types of the metagame like Mr.Mime, Granbull, and Shiinotic. Taunt is an outside option to cripple defensive Pokemon like Lickilicky or Pyukumuku and prevent them from crippling Fraxure right back. Taunt is more so for the SD set as opposed to the DD set, move Taunt to OO as stated earlier.

252 EVs in Attack and Speed along with a choice in Adamant or a Jolly nature maximizes Fraxure's damage output and speed and serves as its means of sweeping. With a Jolly nature and after one Dragon Dance, Fraxure is outspeeding threats like Floatzel and Simipour with their respective Ice-type moves. Give an example of what the added power from adamant can do Mold Breaker is a blessing for Fraxure as it lets it bypass otherwise problematic abilities like Bronzor's Levitate or Pyukumuku's Unaware which would put a crimp in Fraxure's sweeping hopes. Eviolite is its best item for this set giving it a much-needed boost in its Defense and Special Defense. Dragonium Z turns Outrage into Devastating Drake and grants it a one-time nuke for physically defensive threats like Golem, Gourgeist-XL, and Poliwrath.

Usage Tips
========
This version of Fraxure is meant for one thing, setup sweeping. It has Dragon Dance for this reason and should be used mid to late game to maximize effectiveness. Because of this, ensuring any and all Fairy-, and Steel-types are gone is essential before Outrage is used so as to avoid being locked into it and leaving itself open to any status afflictions. As a side note, checks to Fraxure like Mawile, Granbull, and physically defensive Golem require weakening or removal for Outrage to be effective.Ensuring all entry hazards are gone is also essential for Fraxure's sweeping chances since it has no reliable recovery and poison from Toxic Spikes put its lifespan on a timer. Bringing Fraxure in via pivot should always be the norm since preserving its HP will be of the utmost importance in its sweeping chances. Fraxure values its Eviolite and would rather not have it knocked off or removed via Trick or Switcheroo. Therefore, keeping it away from the likes of Shiftry, Mr.Mime, or Floatzel would be very wise. Aside from losing its Eviolite, Fraxure doesn't want to stomach a Knock Off from Shiftry or Komala. Fraxure will want to set up on choice-locked Pokemon like Floatzel using a Water-type move or Pokemon with a severely lowered attacking stat like Zebstrika after an Overheat since any follow-up move used by Pokemon like this will not hit Fraxure very hard due to its Eviolite. Electivire being locked into Wild Charge or flamethrower is also a great threat for it to come in on.

Team Options
========
Safe entry onto the field will be a must every time. Therefore, having a slow pivot that can use U-turn or Volt Switch like Komala or Alolan Golem can use these respective moves to bring it in safely. In addition to being brought in safely, having the field free of any and all entry hazards is something Fraxure would appreciate. Examples of hazard control teammates include Komala, Sandslash, Swanna, and Rotom-S provide Rapid Spin and Defog support, respectively. Mareanie and Muk are examples of teammates that can absorb and remove Toxic Spikes should they be there. On the other side of the coin, having entry hazards on the opponent's side gives Fraxure as easier time when sweeping, so teammates like Golem, Bronzor, Mawile, or Metang provide Stealth Rock support here. Since Fraxure is a setup sweeper here and runs the potential risk of getting a nasty status affliction, having a cleric on the team like Healing Wish Mr.Mime, Heal Bell and Wish Lickilicky, or even Heal Bell Granbull give it a second chance to take a run at sweeping. Since a Will-O-Wisp from Gourgeist-XL derails any hopes of Fraxure sweeping the opposing team, having a way to absorb it or beat Gourgeist-XL makes a great teammate. Examples include Z-Rain Dance Swanna, Combusken, or Rapidash. The Choice Scarfers of the meta in Swanna, Electivire, Rapidash, and Silvally all can be a headache for Fraxure as they can outspeed it even after two Dragon Dances with an Adamant nature. Therefore, teammates like defensive Golem, Choice Scarf Electivire, and Mareanie helps it greatly. Teammates that can absorb an incoming Knock Off, Trick, or Switcheroo like Silvally-Fighting or Combusken are greatly appreciated so Fraxure can keep its Eviolite. Again, not really notable. most choice users with trick/switcheroo are gonna opt to just attack you 99% of the time anyway. A teammate that can use screens like Electrode or Meowstic makes a great teammate for Fraxure, especially if it's on a hyper offensive team since Reflect and Light Screen give it that extra needed bulk to stomach more hits.

Other Options
=============
A Swords Dance set can be viable because the burden of being locked into one move is not there while sending Fraxure's Attack sky-high, but Fraxure misses out on gaining Speed that Dragon Dance provides; not to mention that Fraxure has no priority moves to hit threats faster than it. Superpower is a possible alternative to Low Kick for guaranteed more power, but it has the added cost of lowering its own Attack and Defense; both of which Fraxure just cannot sit well with. In terms of the Dragon Dance set, having Substitute as a utility option can pay dividends as it doesn't require Fraxure to predict as much, not to mention avoid an unwanted status. This will cost Fraxure a coverage move, however. Fraxure's bulk is also not that great, limiting the opportunities to set a sub up in the first place.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Gourgeist-XL**: Even with both sets, Gourgeist-XL and its annoying physical bulk still manages to take hits from Fraxure, subsequently burn it, and then recover lost HP. However, Gourgeist-XL does need to be wary of Z-Outrage hitting it hard.

**Steel-types**: Despite being able to deal with them, pesky Steel-types like Bronzor, Mawile, and Metang can give Fraxure fits; especially if it's choice-locked into Poison Jab or Outrage. They all do need to be wary of Stomping Tantrum, however.

**Fairy-types**: Fairy-types such as Granbull, Shiinotic, and Mr. Mime can all potentially take a risk and come in on Fraxure's moves. Granbull and Shiinotic cannot handle a Poison Jab though granbull can handle 1, whereas Mawile can almost wall Fraxure completely.

**Faster Pokemon**: If running the Dragon Dance set, Choice Scarf users like Electivire, Silvally, Chatot, and Mr.Mime can all come in safely and use moves like Ice Punch, Explosion double edge instead, Boomburst, or Dazzling Gleam, respectively and shorten Fraxure's lifespan.

**Residual Damage**: All forms of entry hazards affect Fraxure and this is a problem. Especially if it's running the Dragon Dance set since Toxic poison from Toxic Spikes puts it on a timer.

rearrange this to have gourgeist xl as the 3rd example after steel and fairy types

[OVERVIEW]

Fraxure is a great physical wallbreaker and sweeper thanks to its offensive typing, access to coverage moves, ability in Mold Breaker, access to Dragon Dance, and its base 117 Attack stat. Its main niche is wallbreaking with a Choice Band set. Since it does not hit everything cleanly like Fairy-, and Steel-types, It gets decent coverage moves like Poison Jab, (AC) Stomping Tantrum, and Low Kick to hit these Fairy- and Steel-types. Poison Jab is hitting switch-ins like Granbull and Shiinotic, Stomping Tantrum hits Metang and Mawile, while Low Kick is hitting tanks like Lickilicky. (you can explain the specific Pokemon each move hits in Moves) Mold Breaker is easily its Fraxure's best ability, (AC) allowing it to bypass many abilities on opposing Pokemon that would otherwise wall trouble (Pokemon can wall it, abilities can't) it like Bronzor's Levitate and Pyukumuku's Unaware. Dragon Dance is what reinforces its Fraxure's sweeping capabilities; (SC) even with its though it has an already high base 117 Attack stat, Eviolite a Dragon Dance set is an option over Choice Band to helps Fraxure to overcome its middling Speed tier and sweep. Since Dragon Dance is boosting its Attack, (you don't need to explain this) A boosted Z-Move like Devastating Drake or All-Out Pummeling lets it Fraxure overpower certain checks like physically defensive Mareanie and Golem. It Fraxure does face some competition in ZU with from other offensive Dragon-types like Silvally-Dragon and Hakamo-o. Hakamo-o has a better defensive typing and is able to use Bulk Up, (AC) while Silvally-Dragon is naturally faster, pivots can pivot with U-turn, and has access to Defog. However, There are also other physical wallbreakers that give Fraxure competition, (AC) like Golem and Komala. Reliable recovery is also an issue since it has none. Because of this, entry hazards combined with its subpar Speed can potentially be a recipe for disaster. The low Speed also makes it vulnerable to common wallbreakers. Fraxure's lack of reliable recovery and low base Speed can leave it vulnerable to common wallbreakers if entry hazards are on the field. Dragon Dance sets are also easily revenge killed by Choice Scarf Pokemon users like Electivire and Sawsbuck due to Fraxure's mediocre Speed. While it Fraxure can still hit them, Pokemon like Granbull, Mawile, and Metang can use their Fairy (RH) and Steel typings (RH) to eat up an pivot into Outrage or a Poison Jab and potentially get a free turn. Granted ("granted" would imply that you're trying to backpedal on the previous sentence, which i don't think you want to do) Even if it predicts correctly, Fraxure does need needs an Attack boost from Dragon Dance or Choice Band to do serious damage to these threats. Even with Eviolite, the plethora of wallbreakers in the metagame can still manage to heavily pressure Fraxure. To make matters worse, Knock Off users like Shiftry, Komala, and Machoke can remove Fraxure's Eviolite and suddenly make it less relevant bulky.

Outrage is Fraxure's strongest STAB move that allows it to (you use "it" later to refer to Outrage. here you're referring to Fraxure) hits anything hard that doesn't resist it hard, (AC) like defensive Golem and Gourgeist-XL. Stomping Tantrum is a neat coverage move that helps Fraxure with to break past (subjective) the Steel-types of the tier like Bronzor, Mawile, Pawniard, and Metang. Poison Jab is also a nice coverage move that hits the Fairy-types that are immune to Outrage like Granbull, Mr. Mime (add space), and Shiinotic since all of them are immune to Outrage. Low Kick is a move that hits the bulkier Pokemon that hate Fighting-type moves like Lickilicky, Bouffalant, and Golem. Dragon Claw is an STAB option that can be used over Low Kick. It's not as powerful as Outrage, but Fraxure isn't won't be mindlessly locked into it and can switch out after one use.

An Adamant nature and an EV spread of 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe is preferred for attacking power, but Jolly can be chosen for the extra boost of Speed it grants to outspeed foes like Komala and Butterfree. Mold Breaker 's ability to go through ignores other abilities like Bronzor's Levitate and Pyukumuku's Unaware to make them easier to defeat, (AC) which reinforces Fraxure's capabilities as a wallbreaker.

Usage Tips
========
Outrage is best not to be used until all Steel- and Fairy-types are out of commission, (AC) so as to avoid being locked into it against a foe that resists or is immune to it. It is a 2-3 turn move as well, so (repetition; you already mention they are locked in) Instead, using Dragon Claw is preferred until said types are gone. Fraxure also doesn't like being locked into Outrage against more offensive teams, (AC) since it makes itself Fraxure an easier target for revenge killers such as Floatzel or and Electivire. Predicting incoming switch-ins and catching them with the appropriate coverage moves move (sentence parallelism) or doubling double switching into a teammate will be important here since, again, being choice-locked into the wrong move can hurt Fraxure in order to avoid these situations. For example, Stomping Tantrum should be used to hit Mawile and Bronzor, (AC) while Low Kick should be used for Golem and Lickilicky. Fraxure should only be staying stay in if can ensure a OHKO or 2HKO against the current opposing Pokemon foe (subjective) or a potential incoming threat. While it's not required, (repetition; you say "recommended" later) Bringing it Fraxure in via a slow Volt Switch, U-turn, or Parting Shot is recommended so as to limit the damage on Fraxure takes as much as possible. Double switching when the opponent is expected to bring in a passive threat like Mareanie is also a good way to bring in Fraxure. It also doesn't like being in for long periods of time so as to keep itself healthy for wallbreaking. (what does staying in for a long time have to do with being healthy?) Because Fraxure is using a Choice Band, it needs to be wary of potential opportunities it can create for set up sweepers if it's locked into the wrong move. For example, if Low Kick is chosen used, a sweeper like Rain Dance Swanna can come in and set up with its Z-move and proceed to sweep. Keeping it Fraxure away from Knock Off users like Shiftry and Komala is wise so Fraxure it doesn't risk losing its Choice Band and putting a damper on its wallbreaking capabilities with it (had to rephrase because "putting a damper on" didn't sound quite right). Trick or and Switcheroo users like Floatzel or and Rotom-S can also take away its Fraxure's Choice Band, (AC) with their respective move so be wary of them too.

Checks and Counters

**Steel-types**: Despite it being able to deal with them via coverage moves, pesky Steel-types like Bronzor, Mawile, and Metang can give Fraxure fits, (AC) especially if it's Choice-locked into Poison Jab or Outrage. They all do need to be wary of Stomping Tantrum, however.

**Fairy-types**: Fairy-types such as Granbull, Shiinotic, and Mr. Mime can all potentially take a risk and come in on Fraxure's moves at a risk. However, Granbull can handle only one Poison Jab and Shiinotic cannot handle one at all though, whereas although Mawile can almost wall Fraxure almost completely.

**Gourgeist-XL**: Even with both sets, Gourgeist-XL, (AC) and with its annoyingly high physical bulk, (AC) still manages to take hits from either of Fraxure's sets, subsequently burn it, and then recover its lost HP. However, Gourgeist-XL does need to be wary of Z-Outrage Devastating Drake hitting it hard.

**Faster Pokemon**: If running the Dragon Dance set, Choice Scarf users like Electivire, Silvally, Chatot, and Mr. Mime (add space) can all come in safely (they're revenge killers, not walls; they can't "come in safely") outpseed Fraxure at +1 and use moves like Ice Punch, Double-Edge, Boomburst, or and Dazzling Gleam (RC) respectively and to shorten Fraxure's lifespan revenge kill it.

**Residual Damage**: All forms of entry hazards affect Fraxure and this is a problem. They're a problem especially if it's Fraxure is running the Dragon Dance set, (AC) since Toxic poison from Toxic Spikes puts it on a timer.

Dragon Claw is an STAB option that can be used over Low Kick. It's not as powerful as Outrage, but Fraxure won't be locked into it and can switch out after one use.

Set Details
========
An Adamant nature and an EV spread of 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe is preferred for attacking power, but Jolly can be chosen for the extra Speed it grants to outspeed foes like Komala and Butterfree. Mold Breaker's ignores other abilities like Bronzor's Levitate and Pyukumuku's Unaware, which reinforces Fraxure's capabilities as a wallbreaker.

Usage Tips
========
Outrage is best not used until all Steel- and Fairy-types are out of commission, so as to avoid being locked into it against a foe that resists or is immune to it. Instead, using Dragon Claw is preferred until said types foes are gone. Fraxure also doesn't like being locked into Outrage against more offensive teams, since it makes Fraxure becomes an easier target for revenge killers such as Floatzel and Electivire. Predicting switch-ins and catching them with the appropriate coverage move or double switching in order to avoid these situations into a teammate will be important. For example, Stomping Tantrum should be used to hit Mawile and Bronzor, while Low Kick should be used for Golem and Lickilicky. Fraxure should only stay in if can ensure a OHKO or 2HKO against the current foe or a potential incoming threat. Bringing Fraxure in via a slow Volt Switch, U-turn, or Parting Shot is recommended so as to limit the damage Fraxure it takes as much as possible. Double switching when the opponent is expected to bring in a passive threat like Mareanie is also a good way to bring in Fraxure. It doesn't like being in for long periods of time so as to keep itself healthy for wallbreaking. Because Fraxure is using a Choice Band, it needs to be wary of potential opportunities it can create for set up setup sweepers if it's locked into the wrong move. For example, if Low Kick is used, a sweeper like Rain Dance Swanna can come in and set up. Keeping Fraxure away from Knock Off users like Shiftry (dead) and Komala is wise so it doesn't risk losing its Choice Band and its wallbreaking capabilities with it. Trick and Switcheroo users like Floatzel and Rotom-S can also take away its Choice Band, so be wary of them too.

Team Options
========
Fraxure fits best on offensive teams in need of a strong physical wallbreaker that resists elemental move types like Fire, Grass, Water, and Electric. While it has the moves to deal with Fairy- and Steel-types, Fraxure cannot always deal with them take them on in case it predicts incorrectly. Therefore, having a Poison- or Fighting-type like Curse Muk or Silvally-Fighting as a teammate helps it out greatly. Additional teammates include Magnet Pull Alolan Golem and Probopass, which can trap Steel-types for Fraxure. Entry hazard removal is critical to keeping Fraxure healthy, so having a teammate that can perform this role like Komala, Sandslash, or Silvally-Poison with Rapid Spin or Defog is highly beneficial. Teammates such as Combusken, Simisear, and Poliwrath that can take care of the Ice-types of the tier like Avalugg, Beartic, Regice, and Glaceon are appreciated. Examples of such teammates include Combusken, Simisear, and Poliwrath. Revenge killers like Kadabra and Choice Scarf Electivire can pick off Fraxure, so having teammates that can deal with these threats like Bouffalant, Granbull, and Choice Scarf Mr.

Stomping Tantrum hits annoying Steel-types like Bronzor, Mawile, and Metang. Low Kick is a decent alternative to Stomping Tantrum that allows Fraxure to better hit bulky Normal- and Rock-types like Lickilicky, Bouffalant, and Golem harder. Poison Jab gives Fraxure a fighting chance against Fairy-types like Mr. Mime, Granbull, and Shiinotic.

252 EVs in Attack and Speed maximize Fraxure's damage output and speed, which helps it to sweep. With a Jolly nature, Fraxure can outspeed threats like Floatzel and Simipour after a Dragon Dance boost (RC) and hit them before they can retaliate with their respective Ice-type moves. If running an Adamant nature, Fraxure can 2HKO defensive Golem after Stealth Rock after a Dragon Dance boost.

Usage Tips
========
Dragon Dance should be used mid-to-late game in order to maximize Fraxure's effectiveness. Ensuring that all of the opponent's Fairy- and Steel-types are gone is essential before using Outrage (RC) so as to avoid being locked into it and leaving Fraxure open to status afflictions. Other checks to Fraxure like physically defensive Golem also must be weakened for Outrage to be effective. Ensuring that all entry hazards are gone is also essential for Fraxure's sweeping chances, since it has no reliable recovery, (AC) and poison from Toxic Spikes puts its lifespan on a timer. Bringing Fraxure in via a pivot should always be the norm, since preserving its HP will be of the utmost importance for its sweeping chances. Fraxure values its Eviolite and would rather not have it removed via Knock Off, Trick, or Switcheroo. Therefore, keeping it away from the likes of Shiftry, (dead) Mr.(space)Mime, and Floatzel is very wise. Aside from the downside of losing its Eviolite, Fraxure doesn't want to stomach a Knock Off from Shiftry or Komala anyway. Fraxure will generally want to set up on Choice-locked Pokemon, (AC) like Floatzel using a Water-type move and Electivire locked into Wild Charge or Flamethrower, or Pokemon with a severely lowered attacking stat, like Zebstrika after it has used Overheat, since any follow-up move used by such Pokemon will not hit Fraxure very hard due to its Eviolite. Electivire being locked into Wild Charge or Flamethrower is also a great threat for Fraxure to set up on.

Team Options
========
Safe entry onto the field is a must for every time Fraxure attempts to set up. Slow pivots that can use U-turn and Volt Switch like Komala or and Alolan Golem, can bring Fraxure in safely. In addition to being brought in safely, Having the field free of entry hazards is something else that Fraxure appreciates. Examples of teammates that can help with hazard control include Komala, Sandslash, Swanna, and Rotom-S, provide Rapid Spin and Defog support, respectively, (comma) and Mareanie and Muk are examples of teammates that can absorb Toxic Spikes for Fraxure. Having entry hazards on the opponent's side of the field gives Fraxure an easier time sweeping, so teammates Stealth Rock setters like Golem, Bronzor, Mawile, and Metang provide Stealth Rock support pair well. Choice Scarf users in like Swanna, Electivire, Rapidash, and Silvally all can all be a headache for Fraxure, as they can outspeed it Adamant sets even after two Dragon Dances if it is running an Adamant nature. Therefore, teammates like defensive Golem, Choice Scarf Electivire, and Mareanie help Fraxure greatly, (AC) since they can deal with these threats. A teammate that can provide dual screens support like Electrode or Meowstic is great for Fraxure, especially if it's on a hyper offensive team, since Reflect and Light Screen to give it that extra bulk needed to stomach more hits while setting up.

Other Options
=============
A Swords Dance set can be viable because it doesn't burden Fraxure by locking it into a move while sending its Attack to sky-highlevels, but Fraxure misses out on gaining the Speed that Dragon Dance boosts provide, (comma) not to mention (RC) that Fraxure has no priority moves to hit threats faster than it. Not to mention that Furthermore, Fraxure's bulk is not all that great, (AC) which limits the opportunities that it has to set up a Substitute. Taunt is a nice utility move that, when combined with Mold Breaker, makes Fraxure easily a threat to defensive teams.

Checks and Counters
===================
**Steel-types**: Despite it being able Fraxure's ability to deal with them via coverage moves, pesky Steel-types like Bronzor, Mawile, and Metang can give Fraxure fits it trouble, especially if it's choice-locked into Poison Jab or Outrage. They all do need to be wary of Stomping Tantrum, however.

**Fairy-types**: Fairy-types such as Granbull, Shiinotic, and Mr. Mime can all come in on Fraxure's moves at a risk. However, Granbull can handle only one Poison Jab, (AC) and Shiinotic cannot handle one at all, although Mawile can wall Fraxure almost completely.

**Faster Pokemon**: Choice Scarf users like Electivire, Silvally, Chatot, and Mr.(space)Mime can outspeed Fraxure at +1 and use moves like Ice Punch, Double-Edge, Boomburst, and Dazzling Gleam respectively to revenge kill it.

**Residual Damage**: All forms of entry hazards affect Fraxure. They're a problem especially if Fraxure is running the Dragon Dance set, since Toxic poison from Toxic Spikes puts it on a timer.

[OVERVIEW]

Fraxure is a great physical wallbreaker and sweeper thanks to its offensive typing, good coverage moves, excellent ability, access to Dragon Dance, and base 117 Attack stat. Its main niche is wallbreaking with a Choice Band set and that hits very hard with STAB Outrage. To make matters worse, Knock Off users like Shiftry, Komala, and Machoke can remove Fraxure's Eviolite and suddenly make it less bulky.

Spelling and Grammar Standards said:
Always use a hyphen when using "early-game, mid-game, and late-game" to refer to the point in a battle when a Pokemon typically fights in a battle. However, avoid saying "early-to-mid-game", say "early- or mid-game" instead.

Good stuff. GP 2/2.
