From Untiereds to Ubers

Resubbing some things.
Type: Psychic/Steel
Abilities: Levitate, Heat Shield [Levitate clone for Fire moves], Motor Drive
105/75/115/143/71/91 - 600

New moves: Flash Cannon, Magnet Rise, Gamma Ray Burst

Gamma Ray Burst - 110 power, 100% Accuracy, 5 PP, Psychic type, Special. 10% chance to badly poison the opponent. Z-Move: 185 BP

Flavor: I originally designed this as a straight-up PDon check/possible counter before realizing exactly how many of those we already have, and a lot of that still shows in the final design. Since the Beheeyem line draws heavy inspiration from aliens, Area 51 (haha funny meme), UFO sightings (especially Roswell) and “Men in Black”-type conspiracies, I decided to make Beheeyem into a UFO itself. The Abilities work well for both flavor and typing—it would make sense for a spaceship to levitate and have heat shielding to protect it from reentry, and Motor Drive represents some super-advanced technology that lets it draw energy from static electricity.

Competitive: Beheeyem deals lots of damage to a good chunk of the meta with its powerful Psychic STAB, has good setup options in Calm Mind and Nasty Plot, and has good physical bulk and a defensive typing that is augmented massively by its Abilities combined with Recover, Stealth Rocks resistance and Toxic immunity, making it very versatile and good against some of the meta’s top threats. Unfortunately, it can’t have its cake and eat it too—it has to choose between immunity to Ground, Fire or Electric (but seriously, don’t pick Motor Drive, it’s there for flavor), leaving it weak to some commonly used Pokémon depending on the set. Heat Shield with an Air Balloon allows Beheeyem to briefly get the best of both worlds (or you can use Magnet Rise if you want to meme), but ultimately you still have to choose. Beheeyem is also slightly hindered by a lack of coverage, finding it difficult to break through some of the more defensive Pokémon in the meta without setting up and/or running Hidden Power, and its relatively low Special Defense makes Beheeyem a prime target of special attackers. A set with Heat Shield and Air Balloon can safely switch into Pokémon like Primal Groudon (because we totally needed another check to that huehuehue), Ho-oh and most Arceus variants, while Levitate sets have a Fire weakness but can safely switch in against the many, many Pokémon with Ground coverage. However, it struggles against Dark-, Ghost- and Steel-type Pokémon, especially Lunala, Mega Gengar, Yveltal and Necrozma-Dusk-Mane.
haha just kidding this one already won what a silly mistake whoops!!!
Type: Water/Steel
Abilities: Analytic, Sniper, Mega Cannon
95/105/105/145/105/45 - 600

Mega Cannon: Ball and bomb moves used by this Pokémon have 1.5x power and do not check accuracy. [Ball/bomb moves: anything affected by Bulletproof - Acid Spray, Aura Sphere, Barrage, Beak Blast, Bullet Seed, Egg Bomb, Electro Ball, Energy Ball, Focus Blast, Gyro Ball, Ice Ball, Magnet Bomb, Mist Ball, Mud Bomb, Octazooka, Pollen Puff, Rock Blast, Rock Wrecker, Searing Shot, Seed Bomb, Shadow Ball, Sludge Bomb, Weather Ball, Zap Cannon]

New moves: Beak Blast, Egg Bomb, Gyro Ball, Ice Ball, Mist Ball, Mud Bomb, Pollen Puff, Searing Shot, Shadow Ball, Weather Ball, Zap Cannon

New item: Octillerium Z - If held by an Octillery with Octazooka, allows it to use Apoctolypse Cannon.

New Z-move: Apoctolypse Cannon - 180 power, Water type, Special. Summons rain before use, overwriting any active weather, including Desolate Land, Primordial Sea, and Delta Stream.

Flavor: Octillery is supposed to be a sort of tank or self-propelled howitzer. I decided to play up that aspect of it, but I felt like I had to make the gun bigger, so I gave it an Ability that’s effectively the opposite of Bulletproof to emphasize how strong this gun is (and partially because Octazooka is one of the best attack names ever and I wanted to make it viable). This brings a lot of less powerful or rarely used moves into the spotlight, such as Zap Cannon, Mist Ball and Beak Blast (it’s an octopus, it has a beak). I chose to omit a couple ball/bomb moves from its movepool, either because nobody would use them (Barrage, Electro Ball, Rock Wrecker, Magnet Bomb), or because everyone would use them instead of coming up with more creative movesets (Aura Sphere, Focus Blast). Apoctolypse Cannon represents an all-out nuclear blast so powerful it even affects the weather.

Competitive: A very strong special attacker that becomes absolutely terrifying under Trick Room. Mega Cannon Octazooka is a force to be reckoned with, as are the boosted Searing Shot, Zap Cannon, Shadow Ball and even Mist Ball and Mud Bomb. Octillery works best as an all-out attacker. It can be equipped with an Assault Vest or Leftovers to improve its longevity, or you can slap Choice Specs on it if you just want to watch your opponent’s team crumble before you. Octillerium Z gives Octillery a one-time literal nuke that sets up weather; it also prevents Primal Groudon from safely switching in on it and removes Wailord’s Delta Stream protection. Physical attacks can also be run on it if you want, including the quite powerful STAB Gyro Ball, but it’s better as a dedicated special wallbreaker. Octillery suffers from a lack of setup or recovery as well as painfully low Speed, but it has enough bulk to make up for that, and if you can set up a Trick Room it becomes one of the most terrifying sweepers in Ubers.
Type: Bug/Grass

Abilities: Chlorophyll, Filter

104/47/64/136/197/52 - 600

New moves: Powder, Leech Seed, Synthesis, Strength Sap, Sticky Web, Toxic Spikes, Spore, U-Turn, Aromatherapy, Power Trick, Trick Room

Competitive: Wormadam-Plant is a great special tank or wall with a good array of useful support moves. Spore lets it get opportunities to easily set up Sticky Web, Toxic Spikes, Leech Seed or Trick Room, after which it can U-Turn out. Aromatherapy is a great move for letting Wormadam-Plant act as a cleric. Strength Sap is a fantastic healing move for this Pokémon—not only does it tend to heal more than Synthesis because of the immense average power level of Ubers, it also helps Wormadam against physical attackers, which it’s quite weak against otherwise. Spore can also allow Wormadam-Plant to set up Quiver Dance, after which it can begin laying waste to the opposing team, though it still has to beware of fast Pokémon—several major threats still outspeed it at +1, and if you’re not investing heavily in Speed it can be outsped even at +2. Chlorophyll combined with a double resistance to Ground makes Wormadam-Plant a surprisingly good Primal Groudon check—even uninvested sets with Chlorophyll outspeed most PDon sets, and the threat of Spore or a very hard-hitting Leaf Storm is something PDon doesn’t like at all. However, thanks to its low Speed, middling physical bulk and horrific defensive typing, Wormadam-Plant is easily dealt with by many physical wallbreakers and sweepers, especially those carrying Fire or Flying moves (though Powder can, hilariously, let it act as a Fire-type lure). Ho-Oh is the bane of Wormadam-Plant’s existence.

Pokémon: Shiftry
Typing: Grass / Dark
Abilities: Adaptability / Pickpocket / Chlorophyll
Stats: 85 / 130 / 70 / 125 / 70 / 120 (600 BST)
New Moves: Heat Wave, Earth Power, Stomping Tantrum, Stone Edge, Close Combat
Competitive (niche in Ubers): Shiftry finds a niche in Ubers as a fast, powerful mixed attacker that takes advantage of its good offensive typing and solid mixed offenses to power through some of Uber's key top-tier threats, like Dusk Mane Necrozma and Mega Gengar. These traits coupled with its access to fantastic coverage moves on both sides of the attacking spectrum like Heat Wave and Stone Edge, Swords Dance, and Nasty Plot, makes it quite an unpredictable offensive threat, as you have to predict what it's set is from Team Preview and as such, makes it hard to check defensively. Moreover, Shiftry isn't restricted to purely all-out attacking, as its serviceable speed lets it function as a reiable offensive user of Defog. Unfortunately, Shiftry's typing, while good offensively, is trash defensively, being weak to common attacking types in Fighting, Flying, Fire, and a nasty 4x weakness to U-turn (or really any bug-type coverage in general), while its mediocre bulk means that it won't be able to take strong neutral hits, and even strong resisted moves will still make their mark. While its speed isn't terrible by any means, being outsped by pokemon that it'd normally check, like Mega Gengar and Marshadow is not something you want when looking for a powerful wallbreaker, while its main form of priority, Sucker Punch, is incredibly unreliable due to its mechanics.
Shiftry @ Life Orb

- Knock Off
- Sucker Punch
- Leaf Storm

(I prefer Winter Sawsbuck more than any other form of Sawsbuck)
Pokémon: Sawsbuck
Typing: Grass / Normal
Abilities: Serene Grace / Adaptability
Stats: 90 / 140 / 115 / 60 / 70 / 135 (600 BST)
New Moves: Close Combat, Earthquake, Knock Off, Stone Edge
Competitive (niche in Ubers): Sawsbuck's niche in Ubers is one of a terrifying revenge killer/setup sweeper, which isn't surprising given its good coverage and high attack. Adaptability gives its STAB Double-Edges and Horn Leeches more power behind them; once it's at +2 attack, it's pretty much "hasta la vista, baby" for the opponent, while Serene Grace, although not that useful, lets Sawsbuck play a more supportive role for its team. Unlike most fast offensive threats, Sawsbuck is actually pretty physically bulky, which, in conjunction, lets Sawsbuck tank a hit if need be and gives it opportunities to set up and wreak havoc on the opposing team. As powerful as it seems, Sawsbuck's typing gives it massive weaknesses to common attacking types in Fire, Fighting, and Poison, which, combined with its only decent bulk, leaves it easily overwhelmed by the likes of Mega Gengar and Marshadow, while its poor special bulk means that strong special attacks from the likes of Xerneas and Deoxys-A will heavily dent Sawsbuck or OHKO it if it's taken enough damage beforehand. Moreover, Sawsbuck does face some competition as an offensive Grass-type from Torterra and Simisage; while they are slower, the former is bulkier and has stronger STAB and coverage options, while the latter has a wider pool of coverage options to choose from and can also go mixed depending on its set.
Sawsbuck @ Normalium Z
Ability: Adaptability
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Double-Edge
- Horn Leech
- Earthquake

Sawsbuck @ Choice Band

just a question, if shiftry does get banned from ZU, would it still be considered unranked since it still isn't PU by usage? or will the list be restricted solely to ZU mons?

also where to play this lol

:sm/probopass:

Type: Electric/Steel
Ability: Levitate/Electric Surge
Stats: 90/60/155/95/155/45 (600)
New moves: Shore Up, Autotomize, Overload
Custom move: Overload: Electric, Special, 130 BP, 8 PP, lowers special attack by 2 stages after use. Z move: 195 BP Gigavolt Havoc
Competitive (niche in Ubers): Terrain setter if going with Esurge. You can use Levitate if you’d rather run a defensive set, as immunity to Ground with Electric/Steel is actually quite useful.

:sm/golem-alola:
Type: Ground/Electric
Abilities: Surge Surfer/Galvanize
Stats: 80/145/150/60/70/95 (600)
New moves: Railgun Shot
Custom move info: Railgun Shot: 100 BP, Electric, Physical, 10 PP, 90% Accuracy
Competitive (niche in Ubers): Surge Surfer user. You can also go with Galvanize if you want to go with being less reliant on terrain.

Feedback would be appreciated on these.

Errr... Chazm has already buffed Golem, so the BSTs of both have to match. At least, I think that’s right.

here's a resub

:sm/bellossom:
Pokemon: Bellossom
Typing: Grass/Fairy
Abilities: Chlorophyll/Filter|HA: Simple
Stats: 95/75/100/100/125/70 BST: 565
New Attacks: Earth Power, Weather Ball

Competitive Niche: Having the equivalent of a 1 turn Geomancy with Simple Quiver Dance, Bellossom can function as a bulky sweeper that shouldn't be trifled with. Gifted with Ground coverage, Bellossom can hit most of the tier for at least neutral damage. However, while is bulk is nothing to scoff at and makes revenge killing difficult, its offenses are sub-par at best in the Ubers tier and a +2 Speed Bellossom is still slower than some scarfers. Bellossom definitely requires a Quiver Dance under its belt before it can do anything, and you best hope you have Poison once it starts dancing.

Bellossom @ Fairium-Z
Ability: Simple
EVs: 252 HP/ 4 SpAtk / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Quiver Dance
- Moonblast
- Earth Power
- Strength Sap

Bellossom can function as a bulky win-con or a mid-game breaker thanks to Quiver Dance. Moonblast and Earth Power hits most things for neutral damage. Strength Sap allows Bellossom to continue to set up on weaker physical threats that can't do much back to it, while also allowing it to recover health and be a general nuisance.

Bellossom @ Leftovers
Ability: Filter
EVs: 244 HP / 208 Def / 56 Spe
Bold Nature
- Strength Sap
- Moonblast
- Earth Power/Aromatherapy
- Quiver Dance

A bulkier version of a Quiver Dancing set. You lose out on the double boost from Simple, but the EV spread along with filter allows you to tank Sunsteel Strike from Dusk-Mane after rocks and you can proceed to Strength Sap back your health (obviously don't switch into the Sunsteel Strike).

here's a new sub

:sm/arbok:
Pokemon: Arbok
Typing: Poison/Dark
Abilities: Shed Skin/Intimidate|HA: Strong Jaw
Stats: 85/115/99/65/109/105 BST: 578
New Attacks: Power Trip, Dragon Dance, Cruel Fangs
Competitive Niche: Arbok is now a better bulky set up sweeper, with new toys to boot. Dragon Dance can help Arbok outspeed the rest of the competition after a boost or two, while Coil boosts Arbok's attack, defense and accuracy, allowing it to connect Gunk Shots after a boost. Added on top of it all is Power Trip, which increases in base power relative to the number of boosts. This allows our snake friend to "ignore" Unaware users and hit them with a base 140 powered Power Trip after 2 coils. On top of that, Arbok's typing leaves it only weak to Ground, while letting it resist Ghost, Dark, Grass and Poison attacks while being immune to Psychic, granting it many a set-up opportunity on a foe locked into a resisted move. However, all is not great for snek friend here. 115 attack, while decent, is nowhere as good in the Ubers tier. Furthermore, its defenses are at best decent, and most strong hits can neutralise it before it starts setting up. However, one shouldn't take Arbok lightly. If you do decide to step on snek, be prepared to get bitten.

Arbok @ Black Sludge
Ability: Shed Skin
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpDef / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Rest
- Coil
- Power Trip
- Gunk Shot

The main set I had in mind when deciding on Arbok. EVs obviously not optimized, but the moveset should more than make up for that. Shed Skin and Rest gives Arbok some pseudo-recovery, while Power Trip becomes dangerous with multiple Coils under Arbok's belt.

Arbok @ Darkinium-Z/Groundium-Z/Icium-Z
Ability: Tough Jaws
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpDef / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Crunch / Power Trip
- Gunk Shot
- Earthquake / Ice Fang

Honestly, there isn't much that Earthquake hits that Dark/Poison doesn't hit neutrally already, however being able to hit P-Groudon is always nice. Ice Fang is for Zygarde.

Other Options:
- Sucker Punch is a nice form of priority that allows Arbok to pick off weakened threats.
- Haze can help you put a stop to other opposing Arbok or other set up sweepers

I got lazy with these subs

OM! If you are able to confirm that Golem and Alolan Golem have to have the same base stats, please let me know.
They will not, but for some form of unity, let’s have them match their base stat totals BST. So for example, if they switch Def and SpD, or they find some way to make their stats different but still total the same BST, then that’s fine.

Like Eeveelutions. Even HP as a stat varies among them.

You don’t have to; but because Arbok is Dark, and has Strong Jaws, and is part Poison, I am recommending Cruel Fangs from my Ariados be added to Arbok.

Consider the submission winning Attack a donation. :)

Hey, OM!, I think this slate should be the second-to-last slate for submissions. I'm suggesting this because honestly, I want this Pet Mod to be actually playable, and playable Pet Mods really are the Pet Mods which catch my interest.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I really want this to be playable Once Slate 14 passes, I'm assuming that Scoopapa has hopefully coded all the winning subs, so essentially, for the rest of the gen, we should hopefully be ready to go for playtesting. I know that I should've VMed OM! about this, but for whatever reason, I can't access your profile so I'm unable to do this.

Any update on the coding, Scoopapa?

I didn’t want to reveal this plan but you forced me to explain the surprises I had:

I just wanted to follow up on this because I know as a coder I wanted to ensure that our slate speed is not overwhelming, and that we can have a playable Pet Mod.

Leonard brought up some good points, and after I replied below I noticed you liked his post.

Please let me know what your concerns are. I feel if you want me to stop the slates so you have time to code I can do a discussion break so we focus on Viability Rankings, and Role Compendum, so I can announce a playable server (yours), promote you to my rank, and then announce a playtesting tournament before Gen 8.

How much time do you think it would take to code and catch up to this slate?

My idea would be:

OCTOBER 15 Today: Slate 11 closes voting & Slate 12 announced as you work on updating the coding.

OCTOBER 19 Upcoming Saturday: Slate 12 voting opens. I promote you to my rank and announce your server so people can play what has been coded so far, and figure out the metagame.

OCTOBER 23 Next Wednesday: Slate 12 voting ends, I announce the Viability Rankings discussion is our discussion break for a full week. I also announce that a Play Testing Tournament will begin as the discussion break ends (and announce that up to 16 players can now sign up - and have them include their time zones).

OCTOBER 30 Following Wednesday: Viability Rankings are finalized and since it has been 2 weeks since today, I assume there would be enough time to code and catch up for the remaining slates.

- This same day Round 1 of Tournament Begins (16 people start)

NOVEMBER 4 that upcoming Monday: Round 1 Ends (8 winners move on).
Round 2 of Tournament Begins

NOVEMBER 9, that upcoming Saturday: Round 2 Ends (4 winners move on)
Round 3 of Tournament Begins

NOVEMBER 13, that upcoming Wednesday: Round 3 Ends (2 winners move on)
Round 4 of Tournament Begins

NOVEMBER 15, that upcoming Friday:
Round 4 Ends (winner is declared) - This is the day Sword and Shield is released.

Winner is announced and thread is closed as Gen 8 is released, we have a strong activity building up to the announcement of the Gen 8 thread.

Any thoughts? I also want to consider that we can just do a 1 day tournament on your server which won’t force the thread to rush before the end of Gen 7.
Sorry man, I've just been really busy. I liked the post mostly because the number of custom elements does increase the workload by a lot, and I think keeping a mod at around 30-40 pokemon makes it much much easier for people to learn ( which will increase the playerbase ).

That said, there's nothing wrong with a mod that runs on and on for the joy of submissions, but it eventually comes at the cost of playability.

Considering that it's more than half coded ( I think ), I can probably get things done by Oct. 30 if you want to have a tournament then.
Thank you so much for this.

Fortunately; we developed this Pet Mod in the Tail End of Generation 7, so that puts a code hard stop on too many more.

I will have the final slate be the one after this one, as some people already want to submit (or Re-submit) Pokemon ideas for the next slate, I don’t want to ruin that.

This will be simultaneous with the VR ranking, since 737373 has pretty much created that for me, and it will mix discussion with slates.

Sure, I’ll announce the November Playtesting Tournament once you inform me that you have caught up, as I won’t want you to feel rushed if any delays occur.

Also, if you need a reference on the winners you can check the first page for the winning submission slates, as well as the Rebalanced Changes (which wont be apart of the original post). Since the spreadsheet is limiting.

Let me know if any coding issues block the mechanics of moves, items, abilities, or z-moves.
I will announce that the final slate won’t be this one, as many people will want one last chance. So I will make this slate the 2nd to last since we can have a weekend tournament instead of rounds days apart.

I do respect Scoopapa and his time so that’s why I wanted to end the slates so he could catch up... SteelixPrismGX I did have a plan that I was days away from revealing...

Scoopapa thank you for soloing the process of coding.

SteelixPrismGX Please post in the messages we have had, or if that doesn’t work, post here for me to VM you.

Thanks!

3 Announcements:

1A. I have updated the following up to the most recent finished Slate (12).
- Untiered Bolded Drop-Down Menu
- Hall of Fame
- Winning Submissions

I am still working on
- Role Compendum

1B. I, OM! (yours truly), have become the first official ever Primal-Groudon, earning 12 Winning Slate Submissions!
Equally impressive is how SteelixPrismGX joins Anaconja as a Zygarde-Complete with 8 Winning Slate Submissions

2A. I am announcing open discussion on the new and improved Viability Rankings list, compiled by 737373elj just before his ban. I am tagging him so credit is provided for the original list's inception. (This also means I had to add newer/missing Submission slate winners since his post sent to me, like Golduck and Shedinja, and made some slight changes such as his original ranking of Lapras in D I put in C+ due to Shell Smash, or if he couldn't decide which tier a Pokemon should go in). *I rarely changed anything, as I figured the discussion would lead to changes anyways:
2B. I want you guys to continue our slated voting, and slated submissions, however, please let me know if you feel a Pokemon should move Up or Down based on the list.
2C. Phase 1 - For now, I am keeping the original Uber Tier lists and this Pet Mod's Tier List in the same post separated, so we can first discuss where some Pokemon in our Pet Mod rank amongst each other when facing the entire metagame. I.e. What new Pokemon can now handle Groudon best (i.e. Swanna vs Wailord as a Flying+Water Delta Streamer; or which between Walrein vs Regice makes for a better Ice SpD wall).
2D. Phase 2 - Afterward, we can place them on the same list as the original Uber Tier. The reason for this, is that we need see how our own stack against each other, and then it will be easier to compare them to how the original Ubers perform the same tasks (Chansey as a SpD wall) .
*I am still formatting it so that each Pokemon icon links to the original post that submitted it, but I have at the least placed Pokemon in the order in which 737373elj placed them in, by Letter.

3A. I am announcing the upcoming the first ever From Untiered to Ubers Playtesting Tournament! Here we will have a tournament hosted during the upcoming weekend November 10th. This will allow for plenty of time for the coding to be finalized for Slates 13+14, and our slates to be concluded for good! (We are ending our Slate 14 on November 7th). Scoopapa (let me know if time is a concern).
3B. If you would like to sign-up for the tournament simply state "IN" in your post (reply to this post, and include your TIMEZONE, I.e. I am PST), so I know you will be included. My goal is 16 players, if more participate, we can make it work. After all, we can just do this on a single day, where we have a coded tournament that assigns pairs to compete in a best of 1, or best of 3, where the winners advance to the next round.

Overall, please be aware that I am doing what I can with the time given. It takes alot of work to manually type of the coding (even though I didn't have to prepare the list from scratch, I still had to re-organize it from a generic list to alter it by letter, and copy+paste it all separately each Pokemon in the corresponding letter rank, code in the Pokemon Icon, etc.)

Tomorrow, I will continue to work on adding Slate 12 to The Role Compendum, and The VR list so you can click the icon and go directly to the post it was submitted in.

He actually placed them in the order the Pokemon were placed in winning subs :)

Also, elj admitted (a while ago) that he placed his subs far lower than he would have liked as he thought they wouldn’t be very good (I have no idea why he did that: maybe a combination of stupidity and a misunderstood attempt of modesty to make himself feel good). So I will be moving them up. I hope we can vote for mons to move up. Maybe I’ll look at others.

:Ninjask: B+ —> A Ninjask has brilliant offensive potential, posing as one of the best counters to threatening Dark and Psychic type Pokemon. Oh yeah, and it’s the fastest Pokemon in Ubers.

:Masquerain: B —> A+ Masquerain is similar to Ninjask. But it can send Pokemon to sleep as a bonus, AND set-up on them. Okay, maybe A.

Edit: elj is IN the tournament, and will be competing himself. OM! can I join as well ;)?

Hello smogoners!

I’m afraid 737373elj is not available as they discovered he was underage (I am not by the way: please don’t say I am). So he asked me to post messages on his behalf, and I’ll tell inform him of any posts that come his way. And yes, I’ll be posting his subs too.
Thank you and hope you understand. Oh yeah and sorry for spamming the thread.

Pokémon: Emolga
Typing: Electric-Ghost
Abilities: Levitate, Static, Competitive
Custom Ability Description (if applicable):
Stats: 95 / 75 / 85 / 125 / 95 / 125 (BST 600)
New Moves: Moonblast, Static Signal, Dragon Pulse, Draco Meteor, Shadow Ball, Hex
Custom Move Information (if applicable):
Custom Move Description (what effects it has):
Competitive (niche in Ubers): Designed to be the end of all Defoggers, this Pokemon hits them all (with the exception of Castform) Super-effectively (which include Wailord by the way). Electric-type attacks kill them pretty easily, and Dragon and/or Fairy attacks dispose of the other one, Salamence, and proceed to set Static Signal in their faces. It also has decent Special Offense and a brilliant Speed that allows it to outspeed the crowded 99 Speed tier and etc.

Support
Emolga @ Leftovers
Ability: Competitive
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Defog
- Static Signal
- Toxic
- Thunderbolt / Draco Meteor / Moonblast / Air Slash

All-out Attacker
Emolga @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest / Timid Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Draco Meteor / Dragon Pulse
- Moonblast
- Air Slash / Roost

Hex
Emolga @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate / Competitive
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest / Timid Nature
- Toxic / Thunder Wave
- Hex
- Thunderbolt
- Roost / Dragon Pulse / Draco Meteor / Moonblast

Castform: As the only Defogger that Emolga can’t stop, Castform can choose to ignore Emolga altogether and set-up, forcing Emolga to either attack or retreat. The problem is further worsened if Castform has Ice-type moves.

Dark-types: Dark-types like Arceus-Dark, Yveltal and Darkrai can target Emolga’s weaknesses and defeat it.

To add after playtesting

Pokemon that can defeat Castform would make life far easier of Emolga. Good options include Pheromosa and Marshadow. Most teams running Castform would also run Ninjask, so a Primal Groudon would be a safe addition. Good counters to Dark-types like Xerneas would make for a good addition, stopping them from removing Emolga from the match prematurely.

Pokémon: Beartic (Physical Offense)
Typing: Ice-Water
Abilities: Slush Rush, Refrigerate, Swift Swim
Custom Ability Description (if applicable):
Stats: 95 / 135 / 80 / 70 / 80 / 120 (BST 580)
New Moves: Extreme Speed, Earthquake
Custom Move Information (if applicable):
Custom Move Description (what effects it has):
Competitive (niche in Ubers):
This Polar Bear, once mocked at and shunned, is now one of the strongest Pokemon. A huge Attack stat (150) and a high Speed stat (120) makes Beartic extremely hard to stop. Unique sets like Focus Sash Swords Dance can allow Beartic to set-up safely, and proceed to KO the entire team priority Aqua Jet! The possibilities are endless, ranging from Substitute Focus Punch to an all-out set with Aqua Jet, Icicle Crash, Play Rough and Stone Edge. However, Marshadow outspeeds it and can deal huge damage with Close Combat, and Xerneas could potentially tank an unboosted hit and KO back with Thunder or Focus Blast. Despite this, Beartic could be a very dangerous opponent (do tell me if this thing deserves a nerf — which I perfectly expect).

Standard
Beartic @ Life Orb
Ability: Refrigerate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Aqua Jet
- Extreme Speed / Icicle Crash
- Earthquake

Substitute
Beartic @ Leftovers / Life Orb
Ability: Refrigerate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Substitute
- Focus Punch
- Extreme Speed / Aqua Jet
- Icicle Crash / Stone Edge / Swords Dance

Choice Band
Beartic @ Choice Band
Ability: Refrigerate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Aqua Jet
- Icicle Crash / Extreme Speed
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake

Beartic has few true counters, as it’s almost perfect Defensive typing leaves few weaknesses which are hard to find. Zekrom would have been good had Beartic not had Refrigerate-boosted priority in Extreme Speed. This only leaves Fighting-types as the best checks, with the ideal one being Marshadow.

To add later

Pokemon that can handle Fighting-types are the only necessary teammates. Such Pokemon include Xerneas and Ninjask.
Pokémon: Shiinotic (JOAT: Special Offense, Special Defense)
Typing: Grass-Fairy
Abilities: Effect Spore, Fungi Flourish, Rain Dish
Custom Ability Description (if applicable): All damaging moves have a 50% chance to restore 1/2 damage dealt.
Stats: 115 / 45 / 80 / 125 / 125 / 30 (BST 520)
New Moves: Wish, Psychic, Psyshock
Custom Move Information (if applicable):
Pixie Burst: Both Grass & Fairy-type, 80 Base Power, 100% Accuracy, Special, 16 PP. (Can gain STAB twice, if user is both types)
Custom Move Description (if applicable): No additional effect

Z-Move - Growing Blast: Both Grass & Fairy-type; 150 Base Power, Special. If successful, inflicts Leech Seed and Paralysis on the target. (Can gain STAB twice, if user is both types)
Competitive (niche in Ubers): Shiinotic now has boosted stats and good moves, giving it the ability to function as a two-in-one Special Attacker and Special Wall, and even providing Wish support for it’s teammates, making it extremely flexible. However, weaknesses to common Fire, Ice, Flying, Poison, Bug and Steel attacks make some of the most common (and a few uncommon) Pokemon capable of killing it mercilessly, like Groudon-Primal, Kyurem-White, Ninjask, Masquerain and Necrozma-DM, as well as certain Castform sets. This hinders it’s otherwise brilliant stats greatly, and prevents it from being too strong.

Specially Defensive
Shiinotic @ Leftovers
Ability: Fungi Flourish
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Sassy Nature
- Pixie Burst
- Toxic
- Synthesis
- Spore / Strength Sap

Substitute
Shiinotic @ Leftovers
Ability: Fungi Flourish
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 SpD
Quiet Nature
- Substitute
- Growth
- Pixie Burst
- Spore

Wish
Shiinotic @ Leftovers
Ability: Fungi Flourish
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Sassy Nature
- Pixie Burst
- Wish
- Protect
- Toxic

Assault Vest
Shiinotic @ Assault Vest
Ability: Fungi Flourish
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 SpD
Sassy Nature
- Pixie Burst
- Sludge Bomb
- Signal Beam / Charge Beam
- Psychic / Psyshock

Fire-types: Groudon-Primal kill Shiinotic easily if it has Fire Punch, as its high Attack stats is more than enough for Shiinotic’s abysmal Defense.

Ninjask: Ninjask can use Sound Burst and it’s high Attack stat to OHKO Shiinotic.

Steel-types: Steel-type Pokemon can kill Shiinotic easily: Necrozma-DM and Scizor-Mega are good representatives.

To add later

Pokemon that can KO Groudon-Primal are good partners, as they are usually Ground-types themselves and can defeat Necrozma-DM, another threat to Shiinotic. Premium Ground-type Pokemon that can defeat Groudon-Primal include Arceus-Ground and Zygarde-C. Pokemon that can handle Ninjask well include Groudon-Primal. Alternatively, a simple Stealth Rock setter can deter Ninjask.
Hey my feedback will be brief, as I am also providing it for the other Raticate submissions, for a total of 6 Pokemon (I promised to provide it all).

Emolga: Why bother with Dragon Pulse, if you have Moonblast? It hits more types, has a stronger base power, and has a good secondary effect.
As for Draco Meteor, let's replace it with a useful move like Aeroblast. That will benefit it for the base power it needs, without being too strong since it will likely be neutral damage.

I feel like Static and Competitive are unnecessary. I could see a new ability like:

Static Wings: When the user switches into battle, it uses Charge. (Think of Download).
This gives it +1 SDef, and doubles the damage of an Electric move during the next turn. Obviously, the easiest answer to this is switching to a Ground-type like Groudon-Primal, or a Pokemon with a Volt Absorb, Motor Drive, Lightning Rod, etc. immunity, but it gives it a niche.

I would limit this by ability, so no one can use it on something with like 150 SpA / Atk in the future. If you choose this, I suggest lowering the SpA to 110, as an Aeroblast, and Charge boost will more than make-up for the power loss.
--------------------------------------------------------
Let's give Beartic something that benefits from Hail, so Slush Rush isn't completely outclassed by Swift Swim.

Glacial Surround - Physical Ice-type Quicksand clone
Custom Move Information (if applicable): Glacial Surround- Ice-type, Physical, Hits all foe’s (2 Versus 2), 110 BP, 90% Acc, 10 PP (max: 16)
Custom Move Description (what effects it has): If Hail is active, the target is partially trapped (traps 4-5 turns).

This also takes away the need to rely on Extreme Speed Refrigerate.

Let's also give it Storm Throw (Fighting-type Physical Frost Breath), Aqua Tail, and Soak.
Remove EQ

By removing it, and using Storm Throw, we can allow it deal less damage against certain Steels like Necrozma-Dusk Mane, Aegislash, etc. as well as Electric-Type checks.

Beartic is also weak to Grass-types, Steel-types, and Fighting types, I don't think it is overpowered because Pokemon like my Poliwrath will give it reason to hide in hibernation. (i.e. it is not in need of much of a nerfing, so you don't have to think it's "too much" - my support is that it is balanced in its strengths and flaws).
--------------------------------------------------------
I like Shiinotic, as it has many weaknesses due to its Grass-type, and it will be outsped often, but you need to lower the base power of the Z-move to 120, which after double STAB is 270, which is on par with things like 180 Base Power Z-moves with STAB.
For it's regular signature move, lets lower the base power to 70, so it is on par with Return for base damage, due to it's naturally high SpA.

It will compete with Xerneas to a degree, but Xerneas packs Geomancy, less weaknesses, and gets boosted by Fairy Aura, so I know it will be a more offensive threat, while Shiinotic is more of a bulky staller with some offensive presence.

Let's replace Rain Dish with Sap Sipper, and give it Effect Spore with Regenerator. I could see it being a viable Assault Vest user, as it packs useful resistances to Fighting, Ground, Water, Electric, Dragon, and Dark. I don't think it will be too OP because it won't be able to rely on status moves, nor does it have U-Turn, or other pivot moves to overuse with Regenerator.

Edit: elj is IN the tournament, and will be competing himself. OM! can I join as well ;)?
I noticed that, but I meant he listed their rank beside their Letter, so I placed them within their corresponding letter.
Also, please recognize nitpicking is just extra work for both of us. I am overworked as is, and having to read that, respond, explain, etc. is just another unnecessary tidbit. I'm sure you can understand. I don't mean to sound impolite, I simply felt it unnecessary.

On a positive note: I agree with your rankings changes. Tomorrow I will instate the changes you suggest. And I would rather just make changes, unless someone makes a case that they should be changed back, and then you both can discuss why. Having to vote will take too long per suggested change. But I like your diplomacy, I only avoid voting due to how much that would impact our main slates, and how we just need immediate changes before Gen 8 ends.

Pokémon: Alolan Raticate (Mixed Defense)
Typing: Dark-Poison
Abilities: Merciless, Cheek Pouch, Thick Fat
Custom Ability Description (if applicable):
Stats: 115 / 91 / 130 / 40 / 130 / 67 (BST 563) (nerfed -10 in both defenses, for flavor reasons)
New Moves: Fang Drain, Protect, Sludge Bomb, Sludge Wave, Poison Jab, other Poison-type moves.
Custom Move Information (if applicable): Fang Drain: Dark-type, 100 BP, 100% Accuracy, Physical, makes contact, 16 PP.
Custom Move Description (if applicable): If successful, user regains 1/2 damage dealt, rounded half up.

Z-Move - Deadly Drain: Dark; 140 Base Power, Physical, makes contact. If successful, user regains 1/2 damage dealt, rounded half up. Requires AloRaticium Z.
Competitive (niche in Ubers): Designed to be defensive in nature, but with enough firepower to dent if need be, Raticate-Alola is tanky enough to withstand hits, and a new move in Fang Drain gives it needed access to recovery. This coupled with a new defensive typing far superior to its first one, good defenses and a hp not to be looked down upon makes Raticate-Alola a decent wall. Raticate-Alola also has the option of running offensive sets with Swords Dance and a decent, if not good, Attack stat. Attacking sets are further assisted by its newfound bulk to make setting up easier. It is very flexible, with many possible sets it could run, playing mind games with the opponent. However, weaknesses to common Bug, Fighting and Ground-type attacks mitigate its brilliant potential.

Defensive / Specially Defensive
Raticate-Alola @ Leftovers
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD (252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD)
Relaxed Nature (Sassy Nature)
- Fang Drain
- Toxic
- Protect
- U-Turn

Cheek Pouch
Raticate-Alola @ Aguav Berry / Figi Berry / Iapapa Berry / Mago Berry / Wiki Berry
Ability: Cheek Pouch
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD (252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD)
Relaxed Nature (Sassy Nature)
- Fang Drain
- Toxic
- Protect
- U-Turn

Offensive
Raticate-Alola @ Life Orb
Ability: Merciless
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Fang Drain / Knock Off / Pursuit
- Poison Jab
- U-Turn / Iron Tail / Zen Headbutt

Ground-types: Raticate-Alola is horrible weak to the abundant Ground-types running (or rampaging in some) around in the tier, like Groudon-Primal, Arceus-Ground and Zygarde-C.

Bug-types: Bug-types like Ninjask and Masquerain deal super-effective damage, and Raticate generally cannot harm them despite their low defenses, as it is too passive and offensive sets have no moves that can hit them strongly, allowing Masquerain in particular to set-up and proceed to KO it.

Fighting-types: Common Fighting-types like Lucario-Mega and Blaziken-Mega can defeat it with relative ease.

To add later

Pokemon that can KO Ground-types are good partners. Prime Pokemon include Grass-types like Gogoat, Simisage and Tropius, Ice-types like Kyurem-White, Walrein and Beartic, Water-types like Kyogre-Primal or even Castform. Pokemon that can handle Bug-types partner well with it too. Often, the two Bug-types are horribly weak to Stealth Rock, so a simple Stealth Rock setter can usually deter them. More offensive approaches include Pokemon with Rock-type coverage like Groudon-Primal. Pokemon that can handle Fighting-types are usually necessary, so Pokemon that can both defensively (Ho-Oh, Lugia, Giratina) or offensively (Mewtwo-Mega-X, Mewtwo-Mega-Y, Xerneas, Salamence-Mega, Giratina-Origin) are good.

Pokémon: Raticate (Mixed Offense)
Typing: Dark
Abilities: Guts, Hustle, Sheer Force
Custom Ability Description (if applicable):
Stats: 55 / 131 / 60 / 90 / 130 / 97 (BST 563)
New Moves: Fang Strike, Crunch, Bite, Knock Off, Dark Pulse
Custom Move Information (if applicable):
Fang Strike: Dark-type, 140 BP, 100% Accuracy, is Physical or Special based on highest attacking stat, 16 PP.
Custom Move Description (if applicable): 10% chance to flinch.

Z-Move - Stealthy Strike: Dark-type; 200 Base Power, is Physical or Special based on highest attacking stat, 100% chance to flinch. Requires Raticatium Z.
Competitive (niche in Ubers): Good offensive stats on both sides make Raticate a versatile attacker with attacking stats of 131 and 130 respectively. A good ability in Sheer Force also make Raticate hit harder due to a number of moves with secondary effects. Sheer Force also allows it to be used as a Special Attacker without being outclassed by it’s Physical Guts set. However, low HP and Defenses, as well as a bad Speed allowing it to be outsped by key threats like Xerneas means it won’t be able to last very long.

Guts
Raticate @ Flame Orb
Ability: Guts
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant / Timid Nature
- Swords Dance
- Fang Strike
- Facade
- Iron Tail / Zen Headbutt

Physical Choice
Raticate @ Choice Band / Choice Scarf
Ability: Sheer Force
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant / Timid Nature
- Return
- Fang Strike
- Iron Tail
- Zen Headbutt

Special Attacker
Raticate @ Life Orb / Choice Specs / Choice Scarf
Ability: Sheer Force
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest / Timid Nature
- Fang Strike / Shadow Ball
- Thunderbolt / Thunder / Charge Beam
- Ice Beam / Blizzard
- Sludge Wave / Sludge Bomb

Fighting-types: Common Fighting-types like Marshadow, Simisage, Luacario-Mega and Blaziken-Mega can all KO it with a single hit, and Raticate cannot do much against them except the rare Zen Headbutt.

Bug-types: Strong and speedy Bug-types like Ninjask and Masquerain can easily KO Raticate with STAB SE Bug Buzz. However, Sucker Punch will deal a lot of damage, and they can’t switch in if Stealth Rock is up.

Fairy-types: Fairy-types deal SE damage with the easily spammable move Moonblast, alongside high Special Attack stats, this can be the end of Raticate. The most represented of these Pokemon is, without a doubt, Xerneas, although Pokemon like Arceus-Fairy and Magearna are fairly common too.

To add later

Pokemon that can handle Fighting-types are necessary. Such Pokemon include Xerneas and Ninjask. Pokemon that can handle Fairy-types are needed as well, with Necrozma-DM being the best option. Alternatively, Groudon-Primal functions decently as a check, and hits Magearna more effectively. Lastly, Bug-type counters are needed, with Pokemon like Groudon-Primal functioning well. Alternatively, a Stealth Rock setter can discourage them from switching in.

Pokémon: Chimecho (JOAT: Special Offense, Special Defense, Mixed Support)
Typing: Psychic-Fairy
Abilities: Levitate, Pixilate
Custom Ability Description (if applicable):
Stats: 125 / 50 / 80 / 135 / 140 / 65 (BST 595)
New Moves: Wish, Moonblast, Hydro Pump, Earth Power
Custom Move Information (if applicable):
Custom Move Description (if applicable):
Competitive (niche in Ubers): Newly increased stats in HP, Special Attack and Special Defense allow Chimecho to serve its purpose as Specially Offensive Attacker and/or Special Tank. It can even support the team with its wide variety of support moves like Wish, Healing Wish and Defog. The possibilities are endless with it. However, weaknesses to Bug, Ghost and Steel allow common atttckers like Scizor-Mega, Ninjask, Masquerain and Simisage to potentially defeat it using their high Attack stats to overcome its weaker Physical side. Still, it’s infinite variety will ensure it always stays important.

Specially Defensive

Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 SpD
Sassy Nature
- Hydro Pump / Earth Power
- Hyper Voice
- Psychic / Psyshock
- Calm Mind / Toxic

Bug-types: Bug-types, Ninjask in particular, can use their strong STAB moves and high Attack stats to defeat Chimecho. These Pokemon are usually Ninjask and Scizor-Mega.

Ghost-types: Ghost-types like Marshadow and Giratina-Origin can usually outspeed and defeat Chimecho without much hassle. However, they have to be wary of switching in to a Hyper Voice.

Steel-types: Steel-type Pokemon can usually defeat Chimecho IF they outspeed it, as occasional Earth Power-carrying Chimecho sets meant to defeat Primal Groudon May find a juicy Steel-type a good alternative.

To add later

Pokemon that can KO Steel-types are good partners if Chimecho is not running a Ground checking set; but they are recommended anyway no matter what. Good checks are usually Groudon-Primal, Arceus-Ground and Zygarde-C. Pokemon that can handle Bug-types well include Groudon-Primal. Alternatively, a simple Stealth Rock setter can deter Ninjask. A check to Scizor-Mega May also be needed, so a Ho-Oh is good. Lastly, checks to Ghost-types are still needed, as Chimecho still cannot defeat them by itself. Yveltal is recommended.
Feedback Part 2: For Raticate-Alolan, do you mean all other Poison-type moves?

Let's give Raticate Recycle, for Cheek Pouch, as well as a new item so it can use it to full effect:

Beserk Berry: Raises Attack, and Accuracy of the user by 1 Stage if user is hit by a physical move. (Clone of Kee Berry, but instead of +1 Def, its +1 Att & +1 Acc).

Now it can use Recycle, Fang Drain, Gunk Shot, Filler to heal, and boost, if it takes physical hits. It's still limited if it takes Special hits, or if hit by Knock Off, Trick, etc., as obviously Swords Dance is more reliable, but Cheek Pouch has a niche to heal as it gets the Beserk Berry boost.

----------------------

For Raticate, I feel Strong Jaw makes more sense over Sheer Force, and if you lower its base Attack by 15 points, it wont feel too strong, as the other moves don't get STAB (besides Fang Strike), as even with Guts it doesn't have a STAB Facade anymore, and it could be slightly under powered.

I think for a new move list, we could add Ice Fang, Thunder Fang, Fire Fang for coverage.

--------------------

Chimecho is not weak to Bug due to a Fairy-typing, and already knows Wish.

I want to give it a mildly helpful ability, as it already has great stats, and while it would fit with the theme of it being based on Sound-moves, Chimecho), I don't want it to be too similar to my Mr. Mime of the same typing, as that has Soundproof.

Instead, I would like to suggest a new 3rd Ability, called Echo Effect, as it would be a good surprise coverage option for hitting threats.

The user's Sound-based Special Attacks have a 20% chance to inflict Encore (same limits of the move- blocked if the foe has Aroma Veil, fails on Z-moves, etc.).

I would add Bug Buzz, Parting Shot, Sparkling Aria, as well as a new attack in Echoing Ringing (Psychic-type Hyper Voice Clone)

It shouldn't be overwhelming, as 20% is fairly low, but I could see it triggering just often enough for it to be worth it. Otherwise 15% is fine ( ~1/7 chance).

Typing: Dark-Normal
Abilities: Guts, Hustle, Strong Jaw
Custom Ability Description (if applicable):
Stats: 55 / 156 / 60 / 155 / 90 / 97 (BST 603)
New Moves: Fang Strike, Crunch, Bite, Knock Off, Dark Pulse, Ice Fang, Thunder Fang, Fire Fang
Custom Move Information (if applicable):
Fang Strike: Both Dark and Normal-type, 100 BP, 100% Accuracy, is Physical or Special based on highest attacking stat, 16 PP. (Can gain STAB twice, if applicable).
Custom Move Description (if applicable): 10% chance to flinch.

Z-Move - Stealthy Strike: Both Dark and Normal-type; 160 Base Power, is Physical or Special based on highest attacking stat, 100% chance to flinch. Requires Raticatium Z. (Can gain STAB twice, if applicable).
Competitive (niche in Ubers): Good offensive stats on both sides make Raticate a versatile attacker with attacking stats of 116 and 145 respectively. A good ability in Sheer Force also make Raticate hit harder due to a number of moves with secondary effects. Sheer Force also allows it to be used as a Special Attacker without being outclassed by it’s Physical Guts set. However, low HP and Defenses, as well as a bad Speed allowing it to be outsped by key threats like Xerneas means it won’t be able to last very long.

Guts
Raticate @ Flame Orb
Ability: Guts
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant / Timid Nature
- Swords Dance
- Fang Strike
- Facade
- Iron Tail / Zen Headbutt

Physical Choice
Raticate @ Choice Band / Choice Scarf
Ability: Strong Jaw
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant / Timid Nature
- Return

Ability: Hustle
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest / Timid Nature
- Fang Strike / Shadow Ball
- Thunderbolt / Thunder / Charge Beam
- Ice Beam / Blizzard
- Sludge Wave / Sludge Bomb

Fighting-types: Common Fighting-types like Marshadow, Simisage, Luacario-Mega and Blaziken-Mega can all KO it with a single hit, and Raticate cannot do much against them except the rare Zen Headbutt.

Pokémon: Chimecho (JOAT: Special Offense, Special Defense, Mixed Support)
Typing: Psychic-Fairy
Abilities: Levitate, Echoing Effect, Pixilate
Custom Ability Description (if applicable): The user's Sound-based Special Attacks have a 20% chance to inflict Encore (same limits of the move- blocked if the foe has Aroma Veil, fails on Z-moves, etc.).
Stats: 125 / 50 / 120 / 150 / 150 / 105 (BST 690)
New Moves: Moonblast, Hydro Pump, Earth Power, Bug Buzz, Sparkling Aria, Parting Shot, Echoing Ringing, ALL sound-based moves (WOOT!)
Custom Move Information (if applicable): Echoing Ringing: Psychic-type, 90 BP, 100% accuracy, 16 PP, is a Sound-based move.
Custom Move Description (if applicable): No additional effect.

Z-move: Shattered Psyche: Psychic-type, 140 BP, 100% accuracy.

Chimecho @ Life Orb
Ability: Echo Effect
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Echoing Ringing
- Bug Buzz
- Clanging Scales
- Parting Shot

Lastly, checks to Ghost-types are still needed, as Chimecho still cannot defeat them by itself. Yveltal is recommended.

Raticate-Alolan has only 1 weakness to Ground; just so you edit its weaknesses bit.

Yes かたわれ時 , you can both join the tournament.

I meant to add this requirement earlier - please post the Timezones you are in, so I can try and accommodate for the Tournament.

I.e. I am in the PST Pacific Standard Timezone.

Pokémon: Delcatty
Typing: Fairy / Normal
Abilities: Cat-of-9-Tails, Thick Fat, Tough Claws
Custom Ability Description (if applicable): Cat -of-9-Tails: Delcatty’s Single-Hit Contact moves that lack a Flinch chance now have a 30% to cause Flinch, and never miss. (Just like Stench/King’s Rock won’t stack with Flinch moves). *Species specific.
Stats: 119 / 99 / 109 / 99 / 109 / 109 | (BST 644)
New Moves: Focus Blast, Mega Kick, U-Turn, Pursuit, Aqua Tail, Pain Split, Dragon Tail, Cruel Fangs, Tail Glow, Dizzying Paw Pounce
Custom Move Information (if applicable): Dizzying Paw Pounce, Fairy-Type, Physical, Contact, 85 Base Power, 16 PP | 100% Accuracy - 30% to cause Confusion, always strikes the foe based on Defense (Like Secret Sword / Psystrike).
Custom Move Description (if applicable): Surprises the foe with its natural agility, only to pounce with its paws, leaving the foe dizzy, and confused.
Custom Item Information: Catnip - *If the user is Delcatty, holder is immune to Confusion, all direct damage Attacks hit off of the highest Offensive Stat (like Photon Geyser), and become Contact moves; item cannot be removed.
Competitive (niche in Ubers): Delcatty works to thwart the foe via passive aggressive tactics:

Cat-of-9-Tails: Cause Flinch, and avoid accuracy concerns for all Contact moves, but with Catnip’s effect to enable all attacks to qualify for Cat-of-9-Tails Delcatty plans to Flinch often.

Further Catnip provides the same Atk Vs SpA benefit as Photon Geyser, so it can use nearly any attack to full effect, all while blocking Confusion.

Further, Dizzying Paw Pounce adds a sense of Mixed Sweeping, even after Catnip, and creates Confusion for the foe.

All in all, once it uses a Tail Glow boost, Delcatty can be done playing with its prey before pouncing in for the finishing moves.

With Tough Claws: Delcatty can leap into action and immediately boost all of its moves, which thanks to Catnip all qualify as Contact moves. Now able to use beefed up average powered moves at new levels of power, Delcatty can aim for coverage, rather than effect, in order to leave the opponent trembling. But don’t count out the surprise factor, Cruel Fangs and Dizzying Paw Pounce still can inflict status conditions, but the Tough Claws set won’t be able to rely on effects nearly as often as the Cat-of-Nine-Tails.

Lastly, Thick Fat lets it take full advantage of its typing so it can handle Kyurem-White/Black, Reshiram, and Turtonator, in addition to staying around long enough to fully use its fairly strong bulk, meaning it can use another one of its 9 lives to boost and directly threaten its foes.
Delcatty @ Catnip
Ability: Cat-of-9-Tails
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Tail Glow
- Mega Kick / Body Slam
- Focus Blast / Wish
- Dizzying Paw Pounce

Mega Kick puts in the work, making up for lack of coverage with pure neutral damage output. Body Slam supplements Paralysis support, which can trigger jusr often enough for it to be a consideration.

Focus Blast is an awesome coverage move for Steels, and can hit the odd Normal-types like Silvally and Arceus that think they can tank it’s other attacks.

Dizzying Paw Pounce can strike their Defense for mixed sweeping and cause Confusion, which piles on top of Flinch and Paralysis. Chansey beware!

Delcatty @ Catnip
Ability: Tough Claws
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest
- Tail Glow
- Dizzying Paw Pounce
- Cruel Fangs
- Thunderbolt

Without Cat-of-9-Tails to boost accuracy, or add Flinch, Delcatty switches to pure damage output via coverage, and doesn’t bother with a Timid Nature.

With Dizzying Paw Pounce to handle SpD walls like Chansey and Tyranitar, that laugh at Cruel Fangs and Thunderbolt, Delcatty doesn’t let them off the hook.

Cruel Fangs is the surprise tactic that leaves Psychic and Ghost-types trembling from Toxic, and certifies that it will indeed bypass Shedinja.

Thunderbolt is for Celesteela, Kyogre, Lugia, and Ho-Oh that think they can handle its STAB.

Delcatty @ Leftovers
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
- Calm Mind / Tail Glow
- Dizzying Paw Pounce
- Body Slam
- Wish

Body Slam makes it a hard stop on faster threats, as Thick Fat let’s it tank hits from Kyurem-White Turtonator, and Reshiram, taking full advantage of its Fairy-typing for full counter survivability.

Delcatty can Empower its SpD and SpA via Calm Mind to maximize its bulk, or take advantage of Tail Glow to go on the offensive.

In either case, piling on Confusion, and Paralysis to stall and set up and heal with Wish allows Delcatty to play cat and mouse with its opponent, all while sponging hits.

Nevertheless, lacking true instant recovery, and initial power, Delcatty needs to be patient to set up before striking, and must focus on survival. But, should it follow suit and have the patience to boost first, it shall become quite the force.

Okies.
Me and elj are GMT +8, aka SGT.

Edit: elj commends you for being the first person he has ever seen to be intelligent enough to find out the time zones for contestants.

Also, please edit Raticate-Alolan’s Signature move to 100 base power, as a Double STAB 140 Base Power even surpasses Z-Moves. I didn’t mind 140 when it had 1 type, but with 2 types that seems a little overpowering.

Also, please indicate that Echoing Ringing is a Sound Move. I know it’s obvious by name, but it’s easier for Scoopapa to ensure it’s coded in when the category is listed (just like a Contact move).

Lastly, since you are representing Yourself and elj separately, just like in the tournament, you can post his votes as well as your own when voting opens for this slate later today, as well as next slate (the final slate).
