Less activity. Most of the regulars are busy these days, we'll probably get more activity up in the summer.
I disagree with this quite strongly. There are quite a number of defensive mons that people can run to counter-act the offensive titans of this meta, including, but not limited to: Aggrosaur, Vaporine, Hitachi, Moltie, Bastioking, Fablesteel, Leafadon, Dianbro, Blisskiss and Cofagreelix, the latter of which can almost never be killed by contact moves. So that's quite a wall. And on top of new defensive Pokemon, you can still use the entirety of OU's defensive meta as well, which is quite expansive. Also, hyper offence metas can still be fun, as people try and figure out which Pokemon can blow holes in the opposing team before their opponent can, and we have enough of a variety in HO mons to support this. And even if this weren't the case, if certain mon(s) are too centralizing, we can just ban them (you know, like we did with Mega Beegon, something that I am painfully aware of). Anyway, we should discuss this more in the discussion phase, I just wanted to through this out there.Down with 7 turn battles, vote balance! (seriously though if you all keep voting for only Hyper Offence mons this tier is not going to be any fun to play)
When you see them at first it's a little hard to see many of those things holding up against all the insane offensive stats of many of the other fusions, though I will admit that after some thought they are much better than I gave them credit for. Thanks for that.I disagree with this quite strongly. Malaras's Advocate Scale is not overpowered as its best recovery is Rest and neutral hits can still slap it around like its nothing. If it can't resist the big hitting moves the other mon has it can't wall it. Basically without its ability it's significantly worse than Avalugg and as it is it's probably only UU worthy.Slowking/Empoleon
Jellicent/Diancie
Camerupt/Mamoswine
Snorlax/Hoopa
Aggron/Garchomp
There are a few more I would have liked to vote for but the Abilities are just straight up overpowered (Malamar/Lapras, Zapdos/Exeggutor, just two examples). It's getting a bit out of hand recently.
Don't you mean Psycho Boost? Psycho Shift justs switches the status.Surprisingly, there were no mega fusions this round (which is nice, we have quite a few already).
Anyway, here's a set for Galvantulys
Galvantulys @ Focus Sash
Ability: Compound Pressure
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest/Timid Nature
-Stealth Rock
-Sticky Web
-Volt Switch/Thunder
-Psycho Shift
An offensive lead set, with Stealth Rock and Sticky Web to hinder the opposition, and a selection of STAB moves to hit the opponent hard with. Thunder is one option for powerful Electric STAB, but Volt Switch is preferable for momentum grabbing. Psycho Shift works as a classic nuking move, and combos well with Volt Switch. Modest works for more power, as with base 150 Speed you'll still outspeed most common things, but Timid can be used to outspeed some boosted threats.
