Learned By: Tyranichomp
Name: Focused Rage (Dragon Rush + Hone Claws)
New Type: Dragon
Classification: Physical
Base Power: 100
Accuracy: 75%
Power Points: 10
Effect: Raises Attack and Accuracy by 1 stage each if the attack misses. Makes contact.
Target: 1 adjacent Pokemon.
A powerful STAB to start, and if you miss once, you won't miss again.

Learned By: Railie
Name: Cold Snap (Nuzzle + Sheer Cold)
New Type: Ice
Classification: Special
Base Power: 20
Accuracy: 30%
Power Points: 5
Effect: Has a 100% chance to freeze the target.
Target: 1 adjacent Pokemon.
In Gen I, Blizzard had 90% accuracy and a 30% chance to freeze. This is a little more likely to freeze opponents than that was, but also does next to no damage. At the very least, you can use this to nab a free Nasty Plot while rendering a Pokemon essentially useless except as a defensive pivot.

Learned By: Charatos
Name: Hydro Slam (Hydro Pump + Flare Blitz)
New Type: Water
Classification: Physical
Base Power: 110
Accuracy: 90%
Power Points: 5
Effect: 10% chance to burn target. Makes contact.
Target: All adjacent Pokemon.
Just a little something to give the base form a better STAB, and to give megas G and X some awesome coverage.

Learned By: Aggrosaur
Name: Vine Smash (Power Whip + Head Smash)
New Type: Grass
Classification: Physical
Base Power: 130
Accuracy: 85%
Power Points: 5
Effect: User takes 33% damage in recoil. Makes contact.
Target: 1 adjacent Pokemon.
A very powerful STAB to take advantage of Aggrosaur's base ability, or to just spam in a mega form.

Learned By: Blastninja
Name: Steam Pulse (Scald + Dark Pulse)
New Type: Water
Classification: Special
Base Power: 80
Accuracy: 100%
Power Points: 10
Effect: 20% to burn target. Boosted by Mega Launcher.
Target: 1 adjacent Pokemon.
Mega Blastoise already ran Scald over Water Pulse anyway, so why not get the best of both worlds?

Hey um i notice alot of weird things going on with the older fusions typing. Vanilla Blastinja has Water/Dark typing, while its mega has only Water. Weasol has pure Dark typing, and its mega has Dark/Ice. Finally Sharpedos has a plain Water typing while it was agreed for it to get a water/dark typing after the rule change. Tagging rhydreigon since Sharpedos is next and it not being water/dark affects my submission.

Didn't someone bring that up in the main thread as well? I definitely remember it cropping up - and before you take this the wrong way, I'm in total agreement that the typing should be changed. We had a case of Early Installment Weirdness fairly recently with Aggrodos, which transpired to not actually be a legal fusion under present rules, but with these more minor breaches (which I grant you are still pretty bad) I was working on the principle that they were either typos or had been grandfathered in after rules/formatting changes. =]

Of course, it's worth noting that being Water/Dark actually helps Mega Blastinja immensely, what with it then having STAB Mega Launcher Dark Pulse and a pretty beefy Special Attack to go with it, and base Weasol (particularly with Dick Move, she said narcissistically) might like being Dark/Ice for STAB priority outside of the less than 100% reliable Sucker Punch.

Yeah I had brought it up thinking it would be possible to use in future fusions. I was told it shouldn't be allowed, but no one said anything about the fusions that it already happened to.

the thing is what u said ParadoxEngine was any mega can have a set typing, while the base has another. that cant happen because only Glalilite, gyaradosite, pinsirite ampharosite, altarianite. Here is a history lesson for you younger members. Back in the old days, only the primary typings of fusions were allowed, (as u can tell by the distinct lack of flying types early on.) Megas were also not allowed. then when the megas and secondary typings were unlocked, work was done to fix old fusions that would want that typing. Mega weasol got the typing addition, but the editor forgot the ice for its base. Blastinja got Water/dark, (I would know, as i was the person that brought it up) and it got it. But its mega didnt get the cut. Sharpedos also got brought up but it was unfortunately forgotten. So I hope these things get addressed

Sharpedos is Water/Dark in base and mega form, there are just some typos in the main thread OP. I guess the megas got added before the type change and whoever did the editing forgot to change them too. It should be getting fixed soon enough, and you can assume that any megas using a stone that would not normally change the typing do not here either.

Basically this gives Tyranichomp a powerful and accurate Rock-type STAB that also lays down Stealth Rock, allowing it to serve some utility to the team overall.

Classification: Status
Base Power: -

Base Power: 85
Accuracy: --
Power Points: 20 [MAX: 32]
Effect: 20% chance to confuse the target. This move does not check accuracy.

This allows Blastinja to have a powerful STAB that is not only boosted by its Mega's ability, but doesn't have to worry about missing.

Which means it's time for a new slate!

skarmory.gif
altaria.gif

Parents: Skarmory + Altaria
Shared egg group: Flying
Offspring name: Skaria
New type: Steel/Dragon
New base stats: 80/85/125/65/97/85 (BST: 537)
New ability and desc: Sturdy + Natural Cure = Pristine: Cannot be OHKOed. Immune to major status conditions if its HP is full.
Notable moves: Stealth Rock, Spikes, Defog, Roost, Heal Bell, Whirlwind, Haze, Taunt, Dragon Claw, Iron Head, Toxic, Feather Dance
Role identification: What we have here is a very tenacious and very versatile support Pokemon. It's blessed with a fantastic defensive typing, all the support options it could possibly ask for, and an ability that protects it from status moves if it comes in fresh. On a stat- related note, according to my calcs, Skaria has roughly as much physical bulk as Skarmory and as much special bulk as Altaria. It really is a prime example of combining the best of both parents. Of course, if you want to take it up a notch...

skarmory.gif
altaria-mega.gif

New type: Steel/Fairy
New base stats: 80/125/145/105/97/85 (BST: 637)
New ability and desc: Pixilate
Notable moves: Dragon Dance, Swords Dance, Cotton Guard, Return, Hyper Voice, Hone Claws, Iron Tail, Heal Bell, Roost, Taunt, Earthquake, Fire Blast, Agility/Autotomize
Role identification: This guy works pretty much the same as Mega Altaria, except it's bulkier and faster, making it much more difficult to revenge kill. You thought Mega Altaria was dangerous? Mega Skaria has access to both Dragon Dance and Swords Dance.

alakazam.gif
magmortar.gif

Parents: Alakazam and Magmortar
Shared egg group: Human-Like
Offspring name: Magmozam
New type: Fire/Psychic
New base stats: 75/82/66/140/105/111
New ability and desc: Inner Body: This pokemon cannot flinch, and contact moves have a 33% chance to burn the opponent.
Notable moves: Fire Blast, Flamethrower, Thunderbolt, Trick, Psyshock, Psychic, Energy Ball, Shadow Ball, Focus Blast, Calm Mind, Recover, Belly Drum, ThunderPunch, Flare Blitz, Cross Chop, Earthquake, Knock Off, Ice Punch, Light Screen, Reflect, Dazzling Gleam, Fire Punch, Drain Punch, Zen Headbutt, Encore, Taunt, Substitute
Role identification: An extremely powerful and quick special sweeper that can use it's new Fire STAB and wide variety or moves to sweep after the opposing team has been worn down, and it can set up with CM or go for a Physical Belly Drum set for unpredictability. Bad defensive bulk means along with SR this can be worn down easily however.

alakazam-mega.gif
magmortar.gif

Mega-Magmozam (Alakazite)New Ability: Trace
New base stats: 75/82/86/180/105/141
Notable Moves: Fire Blast, Flamethrower, Thunderbolt, Trick, Psyshock, Psychic, Energy Ball, Shadow Ball, Focus Blast, Calm Mind
Recover, Belly Drum, ThunderPunch, Flare Blitz, Cross Chop, Earthquake, Knock Off, Ice Punch, Light Screen, Reflect, Dazzling Gleam, Fire Punch, Drain Punch, Zen Headbutt, Substitute, Encore, Taunt
Role Identification: This thing is so powerful, I can't even say. 180 Special Attack couples with 141 speed meaning this will be difficult to take down and it can also heal with Recover, this along with it's amazing movepool makes this monster a force to behold. Keep this away from priority and hazards and Mega-Magmozam will be amazing.

togekiss.gif
glalie.gif

Parents: Togekiss + Glalie
Shared egg group: Fairy
Offspring name: Glakiss
New type: Fairy / Ice
New base stats: 92 / 75 / 97 / 110 / 107 / 90 (BST: 571)
New ability and desc: Serene Focus (aka Shield Dust): User is immune to secondary effects of moves.
Notable moves: Air Slash, Ancient Power, Aura Sphere, Baton Pass, Body Slam, Dazzling Gleam, Defog, Double-Edge, Encore, Extreme Speed, Explosion, Fire Blast, Flamethrower, Grass Knot, Heal Bell, Heat Wave, Hyper Voice, Light Screen, Magic Coat, Morning Sun, Nasty Plot, Psychic, Psyshock, Reflect, Roost, Shadow Ball, Soft-Boiled, Thunder Wave, Tri Attack, Trick, Wish, Zen Headbutt, Focus Punch, Retaliate, Steel Wing, Work Up, Water Pulse, Yawn, Blizzard, Dark Pulse, Disable, Freeze-Dry, Ice Beam, Iron Head, Spikes, Super Fang, Switcheroo, Taunt, Icy Wind
Role identification: A special attacker with decent bulk and ok typing. Could be a decent lead with decently good speed with its defensive stats, Taunt and Spikes. It can also be a cleric, offensive or defensive, due to its access to Baton Pass, Heal Bell and Wish. Lastly, it can be a bulky attacker or defensive wall. With lots of viable options, Glakiss is quite good on its own even without a mega.

togekiss.gif
glalie-mega.gif

New base stats:
92 / 115 / 97 / 150 / 107 / 110 (BST: 671)
New ability and desc: (Refrigerate)
Notable moves: Air Slash, Ancient Power, Aura Sphere, Baton Pass, Body Slam, Dazzling Gleam, Defog, Double-Edge, Encore, Extreme Speed, Explosion, Fire Blast, Flamethrower, Grass Knot, Heal Bell, Heat Wave, Hyper Voice, Light Screen, Magic Coat, Morning Sun, Nasty Plot, Psychic, Psyshock, Reflect, Roost, Shadow Ball, Soft-Boiled, Thunder Wave, Tri Attack, Trick, Wish, Zen Headbutt, Focus Punch, Retaliate, Steel Wing, Work Up, Water Pulse, Yawn, Blizzard, Dark Pulse, Disable, Freeze-Dry, Ice Beam, Iron Head, Spikes, Super Fang, Switcheroo, Taunt, Icy Wind
Role identification: ...Refrigerate Extreme Speed. REFRIGERATE EXTREME SPEED.
In all seriousness, as well as fulfilling normal Glakiss' roles, Mega Glakiss can be a great physical attacker, and due to its higher speed, it could be used better as an attacker in general.

sharpedo.gif
gyarados.gif

Parents: Sharpedo / Gyarados
Shared egg group: Water 1
Offspring name: Sharpedos
New type: Water/Dark
New base stats: 92/132/69/87/80/98
New ability and desc: Intimidating Fangs - The opponent loses attack by one stage every time it makes contact with this pokemon.
Notable moves: Aqua Jet, Crunch, Dark Pulse, Destiny Bond, Earthquake, Facade, Ice Beam, Hydro Pump, Ice Fang, Poison Jab, Scald, Surf, Taunt, Waterfall, Zen Headbutt, Dragon Dance, Dragon Tail, Fire Blast, Poison Fang, Iron Head, Thunderbolt, Thunder Wave, Toxic, Stone Edge
Role identification: While it loses Speed Boost, it has an useful ability, and to compensate for Speed Boost, it gets higher attack, higher base speed, and the ability to use Dragon Dance. Still, its base forms aren't as viable as its' megas...

sharpedo-mega.gif
gyarados.gif

Mega Sharpedos-S [Sharpedonite]
New base stats: 92/152/99/102/105/108
New ability and desc: Strong Jaw
Notable moves: Aqua Jet, Crunch, Dark Pulse, Destiny Bond, Earthquake, Facade, Ice Beam, Hydro Pump, Ice Fang, Poison Jab, Scald, Surf, Taunt, Waterfall, Zen Headbutt, Dragon Dance, Dragon Tail, Fire Blast, Poison Fang, Iron Head, Thunderbolt, Thunder Wave, Toxic, Stone Edge
Role identification: The main difference is, actually decent defenses, a nice n trolly 108 speed tier, but mainly access to Dragon Dance and surprisingly, Fire blast. Also, having a higher attack stat helps.

sharpedo.gif
gyarados-mega.gif

Mega Sharpedos-G [Gyaradosite]
New base stats: 92/162/99/97/110/98
New ability and desc: Mold Breaker
Notable moves: Aqua Jet, Crunch, Dark Pulse, Destiny Bond, Earthquake, Facade, Ice Beam, Hydro Pump, Ice Fang, Poison Jab, Scald, Surf, Taunt, Waterfall, Zen Headbutt, Dragon Dance, Dragon Tail, Fire Blast, Poison Fang, Iron Head, Thunderbolt, Thunder Wave, Toxic, Stone Edge
Role identification: This is basically Mega Gyarados with weaker defenses but higher speed and attack. Alternatively, it has access to Swords Dance + Aqua Jet coming off 162 base attack and Mold Breaker. Unaware? Pfffftt. Them Clefables be droppin'.

vaporeon.gif
arcanine.gif

Parents: Vaporeon + Arcanine
Shared egg group: Field
Offspring Name: Vapornine
New type: Water / Fire
New base stats: 120 / 97 / 80 / 115 / 97 / 90 (BST 599)
New ability and desc: Intimidating Absorption - On switch-in, this Pokemon lowers the Attack of adjacent opponents by 1 stage. This Pokemon heals 1/4 of its max HP when hit by Water moves; Water immunity.
Notable moves: Scald, Wish, Heal Bell, Flamethrower, Protect, Will-O-Wisp, Baton Pass, Haze, Toxic, Roar, Fire Blast, Hydro Pump, Substitute, Dragon Pulse
Role Identification: It could be a great mixed wall or tank due to its access to recovery moves, its ability, and odd typing. It has interesting resists including Fairy, Ice, and Fire. It also walls Azumarill.

A neat alternative to Scald for trapping water and fire types and dealing with them accordingly.

Name: Mind Melt (Miracle Eye + Fire Blast)
New Type:

Classification:
Special.png

Base Power: 110
Accuracy: 85%
Power Points: 5 [MAX: 8]
Effect: Hits Dark-types. Evasiveness ignored. 10% chance to burn the opponent.
Target: One Pokemon

Gives Magmozam a reliable Psychic-type STAB that doesn't allow Dark-types to switch in for free.

Name: Pixie Dust (Ice Shard + Fairy Wind)
New Type:
Fairy.png

Classification:

Base Power: 40
Accuracy: 100%
Power Points: 30 [MAX: 48]
Effect: Usually goes first. (+1 Priority)
Target: One Pokemon

This gives a reason to use special Glakiss with a good priority move.

Learned by: Sharpedos
Name: Snap (Snarl + Waterfall)
New Type:
Water.png

Classification:
Physical.png

Base Power: 70
Accuracy: 100%
Power Points: 15 [MAX: 24]
Effect: 100% chance to lower the foe(s) Sp. Atk by 1. 20% chance to flinch the target.
Target: One Pokemon

This helps Sharpedos in all its forms as it allows its base form to essentially have a free Parting Shot against the opponent without switching out. It also gets boosted by Mega-Sharpedos-S's Strong Jaw ability since it is a biting move. Lastly, it can serve as a replacement to Waterfall on Mega-Sharpedos-G's Mold Breaker.

I'm going to use this opportunity to make a bunch of Xenoblade references because why not

skarmory.gif
altaria.gif

Learned By: Skaria
Name: Mechanical Rhythm (Iron Head + Outrage)
New Type: Steel
Classification: Physical
Base Power: 120
Accuracy: 100%
Power Points: 10 (max 16)
Effect: Locks the user into the move for 2-3 turns. The user becomes confused after the move is fully executed. If the move lasts 3 turns and the user is faster than the target, the target will always flinch.
Target: Any adjacent foe

Provides offensive Mega Skaria with a powerful Steel STAB to complement its Pixilated Returns/Double-Edges. While it acts like Outrage in that it restricts the user from using any other moves during its duration, it has a useful side-effect in that if the move lasts 3 turns it will flinch the target on the third turn. That said, it's not particularly useful on regular Skaria as being locked in is an unpleasant side effect for a wall/support 'mon.

alakazam.gif
magmortar.gif

Learned By: Magmozam
Name: Flare Impulse (Calm Mind + Fire Blast)
New Type: Fire
Classification: Special
Base Power: 80
Accuracy: 100%
Power Points: 10 (max 16)
Effect: 50% chance to increase Special Attack and Special Defense.
Target: One adjacent target

Very similar to standard Volcarona's Fiery Dance. The difference that sets Flare Impulse apart is that when it it increases Special Attack it also increases Special Defense, which allows Magmozam a way to augment both its immense offensive power and its decent special bulk at the same time. It's also perfectly accurate, making it a great alternative to Fire Blast if one's willing to sacrifice some immediate power.

togekiss.gif
glalie.gif

Learned By: Glakiss
Name: Mind Blast (Dazzling Gleam + Freeze-Dry)
New Type: Fairy
Classification: Special
Base Power: 80
Accuracy: 100%
Power Points: 10 (max 16)
Effect: Hits Poison-types super effectively.
Target: One adjacent target

Grants Glakiss a means of hitting Poison-types hard without running Psychic coverage, in addition to being as powerful as its previous best Fairy STAB. It doesn't hit as hard as (Mega) Glakiss's Ice STABs, but it's a direct improvement over Dazzling Gleam so sets in need of a Fairy STAB will want to use this.

Learned By: Sharpedos
Name: Bitey Bitey (Crunch + Hydro Pump)
New Type: Dark
Classification: Physical
Base Power: 110
Accuracy: 80%
Power Points: 5 (max 8)
Effect: 20% chance to lower the target's Defense (biting move).
Target: One adjacent target

Incredibly powerful Dark-type attack for use with Mega Sharpedos-S. Whether to use this over Crunch or not is the standard accuracy versus power argument, but I think that most of the time power will win out given that Mega Sharpedos-S has decent bulk and can afford a miss. Mega Sharpedos-G and normal Sharpedos can use it too, but it'll perform best on S thanks to Strong Jaw boosting its already high power.

Name: Boiling Point (Hydro Pump + Fire Blast)
New Type: Water
Classification: Special
Base Power: 120
Accuracy: 80%

Effect: 10% chance to burn the opponent.
Target: One adjacent target

Another variant of scald with more power, but less chance to hit and burn.

alakazam.gif

Learned By: Magmozam
Name: Swap Out (Teleport + Fire Punch)
New Type: Psychic
Classification: Physical
Base Power: 40
Accuracy: 100%
Power Points: 15 (max 24)
Effect: Swap Out deals damage and then switches the user out. The user will not be switched out if the user is the only Pokémon in the party that is able to battle, or if using Swap Out ends the battle. If the foe Pokémon uses Pursuit on the same turn Swap Out is used, Pursuit will deal normal damage if the foe is faster, or double damage if the foe is slower than the user. 10% chance to burn the opponent.
Target: Single

Not only gives this move you some momentum, it also works with Magmozam's ability, giving it even a higher chance to burn the opponent.

altaria.gif

Learned By: Skaria
Name: Pit Stop (Roost + Autotomize)
New Type: Steel
Classification: Status
Power Points: 10 (max 16)
Effect: Raises the user's Speed stat by one stage and restores 1/4 of the user's maximum HP. If the user is under the effects of a non-status effect (such as Leech Seed, Trick-or-Treat, or Heal Block), these are also removed.
Target: Self
I wanted to give Skaria another option for recovery, and adding a speed boost seemed useful, but I dislike making moves that are strict upgrades of existing ones. Nothing in either parent move mentions removing status effects, but since I halved the boost and heal it seemed appropriate. It's also the only effect that can remove those.

Learned By: Magmozam
Name: Burn Away (Role Play + Incinerate)
New Type: Fire
Classification: Special
Base Power: 60
Accuracy: 100%
Power Points: 10 (max 16)
Effect: Inflicts damage and suppresses the target's Ability while it remains in battle. Burn Away does not affect Multitype or Stance Change-based abilities.
Target: Single
Gastro Acid with damage attached. Magmozam will have no trouble dealing damage, so I figured it would want a way to remove pesky abilities instead.

Learned By: Glakiss
Name: Caprice (Mirror Move+ Freeze-Dry)
New Type: Fairy
Classification: Special
Base Power: 70
Accuracy: 100%
Power Points: 20 (max 32)
Effect: Deals damage. This move is treated as being the same type as the last move used by any active Pokemon for the purposes of Type Effectiveness and has a 55% chance of triggering any non-damage effects that move had, if any.
Target: Single
A bit niche, but many Pokemon carry moves that would be super-effective against them, especially with the coverage present in this meta. Note that it can copy moves that don't deal damage too, so a 70BP, Flying-type move with a 55% chance of healing you for 1/2 you max HP off of Roost isn't bad.

Learned By: Sharpedos
Name: Lockdown (Taunt + Whirlpool)
New Type: Dark
Classification: Physical
Base Power: 35
Accuracy: 85%
Power Points: 20 (max 32)
Effect: Traps the target for 2-5 turns and prevents them from using status moves for the duration. If a Pokémon that only knows status moves is taunted, or is taunted after using a status move and holding a Choice item, then it will be forced to use Struggle.
Target: Single
Go in, trap a physical attacker with this, kill them as they lower their own Attack hitting you.

Name: Solid Fog (Fire Spin + Aqua Ring)
New Type: Water
Classification: Special
Base Power: 35
Accuracy: 85%
Power Points: 15 (max 24)
Effect: Traps the target for 2-5 turns and steals 1/8 the user's maximum HP at the end of each turn, healing them and damaging the target. This effect ends if the user switches out, but the effect can be Baton Passed, and will calculate damage based on the currently active Pokemon. Big Root, Binding Band, and Grip Claw all have their usual effects on this move.
Target: Single
Similar to Lockdown above, but this keeps you healthy and allows you to pass it to allies without breaking the trap.

Learned By: Magmozam
Name: Mind Melt (Role Play + Incinerate)
New Type: Psychic
Classification: Special
Base Power: 60
Accuracy: 100%
Power Points: 10 (max 16)
Effect: Inflicts damage and suppresses the target's Ability while it remains in battle. Mind Melt does not affect Multitype or Stance Change-based abilities.
Target: Single
Gastro Acid with damage attached. Magmozam will have no trouble dealing damage, so I figured it would want a way to remove pesky abilities instead.
mfw same name as my submission...
