Gamecube

Hello fellow Smogoners, I am here for some advice, I wan't to buy a gamecube game to play on my Wii but I can't find a good one, any ideas? I don't like anything to actiony and I like turn by turn rpg's. Thanks!
 
Turn by Turn RPG would have to be Skies of Arcadia. Best turn-based RPG you'll find for the Gamecube IMO. It's incredible, and has tons of things to do.
 
Seconding Skies of Arcadia, it is a great game. Inevitable mention of Colosseum and XD. I guess you could include Tales of Symphonia as well, which is less turn-based but still a good RPG. Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance is also a good game. Paper Mario 2 is also good. And those are just the main RPG-ish games that I can think of.
 
Uh, Super Smash Bros. Melee anyone?

If that isn't you cup of tea... Pokemon GC games aren't THAT bad. I mean I did enjoy them.
 
Time Splitters 2! :D

Awesome first person shooter with alot of fun modes, challenges and unlockables. There is also Time Splitters Future Perfect, the more advanced, though somewhat less enjoyable prequel. Take your pick, either's great if you get tired of RPGs.

Just my contribution, though there are lots of great suggestions here as well that may be more suited to you.
 
Seconding Time Splitters 2 and Tales of Symphonia. ToS was just brilliant. Really can't go wrong. and TS2 was just fun all around.
 
Timesplitters Future Perfect is almost completely superior to Timesplitters 2, they're both great games but but both are pretty heavily action-oriented.

Both Fire Emblem games are good, though Path of Radiance (GC) is better than Radiant Dawn. Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door is another very good GC RPG.
 
Sonic Adventure 2 Battle is cheap fun, and it's not as action intensive as some games! LoZ: Windwaker for the obvious mention.

Thats coming out soon as one of those GC games updated for Wii.

Melee, Sunshine, Mario Kart Double Dash, Fire Emblem Path Of Radience, Timesplitters, Resident Evil 4 and Paper Mario 2 are all classic titles on the Gamecube.

Every single mario game made for the gamecube is good for the Wii.

Just pick out one of them and your bound to have some fun.

Old Sports games are good too, like madden or some shit I dont know what consoles they are on I assume they were on the gamecube.
 
Personally, I love the original Mario Strikers; I actually prefer it over the original. Its single player is pretty average but playing it with friends is amazingly fun.

Also seconding Melee, Pikmin, and I also enjoyed Pikmin 2.
 
Resident Evil 4 or Tales of Symphonia

The two best games I've played in my life along with Ocarina of Time, but that will be hard to find for GC.
 
Tales of Symphonia is probably the best RPG out for the Gamecube, I highly recommend it. For turn-based though, you can't go wrong with FE...

Then if you ever get a Wii, you can enjoy their sequels, lol.

Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem
Metroid Prime 1 & 2 (dunno how THIS haven't been mentioned yet)
Viewtiful Joe 1 & 2
Soul Calibur (one of the best fighting games of all time, and GC version has link!)
Star Wars Gogue Squadron II: Rogue Leader
Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes (Remake of MG1 with MG2 graphics and gameplay!)
Beyond Good and Evil (highly regarded as one of the best underrated games of all time!)
Animal Crossing
SSX 3 (the only good SSX game in the series)
Prince of Persia series (they weren't JUST of the playstation 2)
Luigi's Mansion
Super Monkey Ball (quirky, but a HELL of a game!)
F-Zero GX (last F-Zero game made....I think)
