Games you could play forever.

SSBB
Pokemon
FIFA
Madden
(assuming rosters would update for the next 10 years on those games, and I'd have opponents online)
Mario games... Like Mario 64

What good would things like Halo and Super Smash Bros Melee be without multiplayer?

Tetris of course
Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (beat it over ten times already, and still not bored)
Super Mario 64
Final Fantasy Tactics
Metroid... gah which one?! Can always run through it faster with more items.

They wouldn't be too good without multiplayer, but that is why the first post says you will have online capabilities.

I could play the game of love forever. Sorry if that was a little off topic.

I'm gonna say Call Of duty World at war online. It has everything. Trash talking, headshots, and dogs!

Uh definitely Disgaea. It's got infinite randomly generated dungeons.

Tales of Symphonia would be pretty fun because I could keep making up challenges for myself (solo abyssion with level 9 sheena?)

Guitar Hero/Rock Band, as long as I get all the DLC they come out with in the future so I'm not stuck playing the same 80 songs.

Meteos, because puzzlers like that never get old.

aaaand wii fit, because you'd get way fat playing video games for 10 years

The latest Pokemon at the time.
Halo 3 (if they're doing more that's great too)
Brawl
Mario Kart Wii
aaaaaand Counter Strike for Xbox.

10 years is a long time. But:
Mario Kart Wii
SSBB
Fifa 09
Advanced wars (Suppose I might get good at it that way)
Pokemon ( Might get good at breeding)

Brawl
Resident Evil 4
Advance Wars Days of Ruin
Pokemon
Lego Star Wars The Complete Saga

Used to be hooked on Timesplitters Future Perfect and Soul Caliber 3 before I got my Wii, which were very nice deterrents because it took me 6 months after the Wii's launch to secure myself one. I also played Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn at least 5 times through before finally quiting...

-Pokemon games
-Football Manager(all)
-Pro Evolution Soccer(all)

Those are the games that I probably never get bored, unless they stop making them

Well assuming that these are all video games and not something like Poker or whatever that I can play with people face-to-face...

Final Fantasy Tactics
Disgaea: Hour of Darkness
GunZ: The Duel - Been playing this since '05 and as long as there are people to play against I could keep at it for a long time.
Freecell - There's a million or so games in the Windows XP version. I'd probably start from #1 and go from there. (I've actually been thinking about doing this...)
Super Smash Bros Brawl - I suppose this could go on there despite that fact that I've barely played it. I'm sure I would be able to enjoy multiplayer for a long time.

For Freecell (and the others after a while) I would probably need music to listen to while playing lest I go insane. Actually I'd probably go insane regardless if stuck playing these games and only these for 10 years but that's not the point...

-Pokemon
-Harvest Moon
-Advance wars.

Pretty much my favorite series as not much can hold my attention for to long

I sadly only play pokemon, i don't know why but all these war games and dungun and dragons make you seem like a dork and they don't really pleasure me as much as they bore me...I'm more into games such as pokemon that involve strategy and stuff but also give you a sense of child hood...I mean when you're playing pokemon and see those cool looking pokemon like salamence battling along your side you just become happy and you fell in live with their design..

Better than playing a game where you're a normal human who does shit with his swords...

not too hard for me tbh

-Ocarina of Time
-Smash Bros Brawl
-Guitar Hero WT (as long as I get all downloadable content)
-Pokemon Platinum
-Animal Crossing (any of them really, since they are all tragically the same game, but i guess the most recent one!)

honourable mentions: DK64 (200 golden bananas!), Goldeneye 007 (if this had online!)

yea cheezy

my list would be like this

1.Smash bros brawl
2.legend of zelda lttp
3.advance wars
4.pokemon
5.chrono trigger

theres a lot more but those are my top 5

And like I said, PC gaming is a totally viable platform that has (or had) a radically different focus (and thus radically different game titles) than consoles. I really can't see why PC games should be excluded from the list.

Honestly, the only non-PC game I have played that I would not tire of after 10 years would be Dragon Warrior Monsters (provided that I have a breeding chart). I played this game incessantly when I was younger, and still do on occasion.

I'd definitely take advance wars DS, it has many maps it would take anybody years to finish all of them, and then there's the map-maker. I'd probably take FIFA as well, as that never ceases to be fun online. Team Fortress 2 is also a cracking game which I could play indefinitely and I'd probably make it up to five with Star Ocean 3 (which is amazing) and probably Elite Beat agents as that is always good for a quick blast, although I'd probably tire of "jumping jack flash" after 10 years.
