Um...i called gamestop and was told they arent doing it
I'm leaving in half an hour with my younger brother to meet Fish, Sheax0r, and Carl at the Okemos mall. I stayed up ALL NIGHT, and finished EV training everything and putting the finishing touches on it at about 7:00 AM. Smeargle was a pain to make and it didn't help that I realized I was EV training on of the wrong Pokemon (I started EV training one with worse IVs accidentally) halfway through the EV training.
Anyway, I'll bring the digital camera. This will be a good one.

I actually read the thread earlier this week and I'm like "holyshit there's people who actually play Pokemon besides me in Poughkeepsie", so I asked around and people are like "oh yeah, Surgo is programming Competitor", "he's one of the site admins of Smogon" etc. and I was like "whoa now I definitely need to go but he'll be like 'uh how do i know you?'"
I was actually planning to go today but it all depends on what time I get out of work...I might just sit around and watch if I end up showing too late. Plus if it turns into an uberfest I'm not very sure how long I'll last especially given that I've spent the past few days breeding and retrofitting my old team to not suck ;_; I've actually got my DS Lite on my desk and I'm thinking about raising a Lopunny behind my boss' back while I'm here or something I have no idea >_>
Quite honestly I want that shirt because it's awesome-ish, I already have PBR. If by some small chance I end up winning first (which is highly unlikely but whatever) I'll give you the game and keep the shirt <_<
Besides, I'm kinda wondering what that "special gift" is in the ads anyway and if I show up late I'm all for the gift. Which...reminds me, how long do store tournaments like this last?
It's like...well if you've played Battle Revolution, if you've ever seen the Leaders-In-Training it's that same exact shirt, except on the back it has a picture of Poketopia.

Also I'm not familiar with the DS Battle Mode in PBR, but if the stages are selectable...if we meet up Surgo we're totally playing in Crystal Colloseum. At least then I'll feel better after you...

Which is something else I've been meaning to ask: Are they setting any rules? No identical Pokemon? No identical hold items? I mean, does that mean I could raise a FEAR team if I wanted to and compete? >_>

Going to the GameStop in Evanston, IL on either Church or Dodge. Whichever one my friend doesn't go to so we can each pick up a copy of PBR. XD

PBR has an option to set custom rules, including sleep clause, item clause, freeze clause, etc.. Otherwise, for standard lv.50 all, these are not applied.

I won TO for Smogon (and GAF)! Store monkey on Friday told me #1-490 ok and I was all "oh crap" and speed trained a Kyogre, Rayquaza and Deoxys, and today the manager said "no legendaries", bleh.
