Gamestop Tournament "I'm Going To This Store" Registry.

I plan on going to the only one participating in Rochester, NY. EB Games at the Culver Ridge Plaza.
EDIT: Apparently, no one over the age of 15 is allowed to play. Only users 15 and younger can participate. That is what the guy in charge of my Gamespot/EB told me. Can anyone else confirm this?
 
I live near Maryland, so I'll probably go to either Montgomery Mall or Wheaton, depending on which way I feel like. I'll be using ubers up the ass.
 
I... just realized I won't be able to go because I spent so much more time on Smogon and Serebii than I did actually playing the game. Now I can't get a team ready in time.

I think that's ironic... somehow.

My Gamespot won't be so cruel, but the guy in charge did say that if there were a few people significantly older than the rest, they would be separated in a different age bracket. If this is the case for a lot of Gamestops, a lot of people here might be forced to face a lot tougher competition than a bunch of 10-year-olds...
 
is there anything in PA for this? im away this weekend, but im just wondering.

edit: just checked the site, and im baffled that not one Philadelphia gamestop is hosting. O_o

There is the one in king of prussia, depending where in philly you are at, it shouldn't be that far away.
 
wow, there are actually a couple of you guys going to a gamestop in long island. I'm pretty sure I'll be going to the one in Roosevelt Field Mall in Garden City Long Island. maybe a bunch of us long islanders could meet there?

I'll be going to the Union Gap Gamestop in Washington. I bet no one else lives up there, and it was funny what the guy said to me when I asked the rules. "I don't know, just bring your best guys. Some other kid is." Thus, I began to laugh. Wobbufett double battle ftw!
 
I am going to the Marketplace Gamestop in Irvine, CA. The guy who is running it frequents Serebii, so he made the rules for the location-specific tournament. It has Sleep Clause, Evasion Clause, OHKO Ban, Uber Clause, all that jazz -- he knows all the standard stuff. Boy, am I happy.
 
I'll be at Hanes Mall GameStop, Winston-Salem NC. Hah, I convinced the manager there to go with standard rules for the tournament, w00t. :naughty:

I have both called in and actually driven there, and yes, they're quite set on no one over the age of 15.

I would be in the same situation as you; however, I have an 11 year old brother who may be showing up with a team that has "Aaron" as the original trainer. :naughty:

Hopefully my brother runs into a bunch of non EV trained pokemon and brings honor to my Ludicolo and pals. Not that they couldn't handle their own, but my brother is still learning to predict and use strategy beyond the next turn.

Lol, dude, Syracuse is like several hours away from Poughkeepsie. It's not worth it to drive that far, trust me.

Also, there's someone else who has been reading this topic and is planning on going to Poughkeepsie tomorrow, but I'm not sure if you're registered or not. Post here if you are the person I am talking to.
