I was hoping to obtain both the "Most" and "Useless" Dittos. I am terrible at following directions so I named my second Carkol "Useful" by accident. If you need me to change it just let me know.

Nope, unfortunately it's just a reality of GTS giveaways - sniping is always an possibility. Mitigating factors like using mons that are less sought after as the medium help, but sometimes someone just really wants a Carkoal :P.
