Pet Mod [Gen 8] Crossover Chaos

Turns out the first place winner was decided by the final vote and that one more vote could've seen a different character win. Congratulations to Pika Xreme, KeeganSkymin4444 and Squidy822 for winning with Suguri, Dark Lord and Madotsuki. Squidy822 has earned the title, Parodious.

This slate is for any characters who are siblings or close relations such as cousins. This can be siblings related by blood such as Mario and Luigi from Super Mario or related by bond such as Reyn and Fiora from Xenoblade. Characters should make reference to being like family or have known each other from childhood.

Have fun

Hey, just in time for my most recently finished idea.
(EDIT: Made Fairy her primary type and shared among all forms. Changed the other type of the base form to Normal, and updated All-Out Assault accordingly.)

Sister: Edna (penultimate antagonist)
Pokémon: Adelle
Type: Fairy/Normal
Ability: Freelancer - Holding a non-exclusive Z-Crystal causes Adelle to change form. Depending on her form, this Ability changes when she switches in, namely into Sturdy in her base form.
Moves: Play Rough, Spirit Break, Giga Impact, Thrash, Mega Kick, Mega Punch, Body Slam, Slash, Chip Away, Double Hit, Pay Day, Hold Back, Feint, Fury Swipes, Fury Attack, Comet Punch, High Jump Kick, Close Combat, Sacred Sword, Storm Throw, Body Press, Bludgeon (from Gail), Drain Punch, Wake-Up Slap, Low Sweep, Triple Kick, Rolling Kick, Mach Punch, Axe Strike (from Camilla), Heavy Slam, Smart Strike, Poison Jab, Stone Edge, Arrow Shot (from Orion), Rock Blast, Precipice Blades, Bulldoze, Sand Tomb, Flare Blitz, Flame Wheel, Brave Bird, Aerial Ace, Fly, Throat Chop, Thief, Brutal Swing, Beat Up, Liquidation, Razor Shell, Clamp, Outrage, Dragon Rush, Dual Chop, Lunge, Pin Missile, Bolt Strike, Zing Zap, Zen Headbutt, Heart Stamp, Poltergeist, Phantom Force, Shadow Sneak, Leaf Blade, Reversal, Flail, Metal Burst, Natural Gift, Moonblast, Dazzling Gleam, Fairy Wind, Hyper Voice, Tri Attack, Relic Song, Focus Blast, Fire Blast, Flamethrower, Incinerate, Ember, Fire Spin, Blizzard, Ice Beam, Aurora Beam, Powder Snow, Thunder, Thunderbolt, Electro Ball, Shock Wave, Thunder Shock, Hurricane, Air Slash, Air Cutter, Gust, Power Gem, Ancient Power, Earth Power, Psychic, Hex, Sludge Wave, Venoshock, Clear Smog, Dark Pulse, Snarl, Giga Drain, Final Gambit, Hidden Power, Psywave, Sheer Cold, Nature's Madness, Recover, Wish, Refresh, Aromatherapy, Parting Shot, Reflect, Light Screen, Swords Dance, Nasty Plot, Agility, Work Up, Barrier, Amnesia, Cosmic Power, Haze, Toxic, Thunder Wave, Taunt, Sing, Stopga (from Mickey Mouse), Magic Coat, Protect, Detect, Recycle, Aqua Ring, Charm, Screech, Eerie Impulse, Fake Tears, Cotton Spore, Focus Energy, Foresight, Mind Reader, Copycat, Endure, Lucky Chant, Baton Pass, Double Team, Flash, Assist, Metronome, Heal Pulse, Follow Me, Spotlight, After You, Ally Switch, Wide Guard
Z-Move: All-Out Assault - Normal, Physical, 185 BP | Boosts the Attack and Special Attack of the user and all active allies. | Requires Body Slam and Freelancium Z
Stats: 80/80/80/80/80/80 | 480 BST
Reasoning: Adelle is Fairy/Normal because (Chapter 3 spoiler) she is a fairy that merely appears human. Freelancer is the base job of every Bravely game to date, representing someone in the absence of any Asterisks. In this case, all but five of the Asterisks correspond to Z-Crystals that trigger Adelle's form-changing Ability, affecting the Ability it changes into, her base stats, and her secondary type. In terms of the former, Freelancers have a speciality called Stand Ground, which may allow them to survive at 1 HP, just like Sturdy. Base stats are determined through collected job data from Bravely Default II: In accordance with a character's level and job, the character has six possible values per stat; from lowest to highest, they are represented as 50, 60, 70, 80, 100, and 120. (Revenant Grace follows the same principle.)
Below are the five Asterisks omitted, along with reasons why.
  • White Mage: Has no offensive abilities
  • Gambler: Too random to be anything but Normal-type, which fits the Bard better
  • Oracle: Would have a pathetic stat line of 60/60/60/80/70/50 (380 BST)
  • Hellblade: Difficult to associate with any one type
  • Bravebearer: Would have base stats identical to Arceus
Now to mention the elephant in the room: her gargantuan movepool. Adelle and her companions can choose to fight unarmed (Mega Punch, Comet Punch, Close Combat) or with the following weapons: swords (Slash, Sacred Sword, Leaf Blade), daggers (Smart Strike, Poison Jab), axes (Axe Strike), spears (Fury Attack), bows (Arrow Shot), and staves (Bludgeon). They can also Default (Protect) if needed. Additionally, some of Adelle's moves correspond to Freelancer abilities: Foresight (Examine), Recycle (Forage), Lucky Chant (Lucky Charm), Haze, Clear Smog (Square One), Body Slam (same name, similar effect), Copycat (Mimic), and All-Out Assault (the Special Ability of the job).
Other moves correspond to other jobs (because each character has simultaneous access to multiple, in a similar vein to Edelgard), so further move reasoning is paired with Adelle's forms as appropriate. (I tried to minimize custom elements, sometimes by fudging the effect translations a bit, because the forms and movepool are already plenty to take in.)
Before that, of course, the following are from omitted forms.
  • White Mage: Recover, Heal Pulse, Wish (Cure, Cura, Curaga), Barrier (Protect), Amnesia (Shell), Aromatherapy (Basuna, Esuna)
  • Gambler: Pay Day (Spin the Wheel), Hidden Power (Elemental Wheel), Metronome (Dealer's Choice)
  • Oracle: Cotton Spore (Slow), Agility (Haste), Tri Attack (Triple, Triplara, Triplaga), Magic Coat (Reflect), Stopga (Stop)
  • Hellblade: Fire Spin (Ruby Blades), Clamp (Sapphire Blades), Sand Tomb (Carnelian Blades), Reversal, Flail (Minus Strike)
  • Bravebearer: Nature's Madness (Hypergravity)

Form: Adelle-Black-Mage
Z-Crystal: Icium Z
Type: Fairy/Ice
Freelancer Becomes: Sheer Force
Stats: 50/50/60/100/70/60 | 390 BST
Reasoning: Black Mages have a Special Ability called Iceberg Blast, which is easily grounds for Ice typing. However, neither of their specialities can be easily translated into an Ability, so Sheer Force is chosen because Black Mage spells do not have secondary effects.
Ability-based moves: Ember (Fire), Powder Snow (Blizzard), Thunder Shock (Thunder), Toxic (Poison), Incinerate (Fira), Aurora Beam (Blizzara), Shock Wave (Thundara), Flamethrower (Firaga), Ice Beam (Blizzaga), Thunderbolt (Thundaga), Fire Blast (Flare), Blizzard (Freeze), Burst (Thunder)

Form: Adelle-Vanguard
Z-Crystal: Groundium Z
Type: Fairy/Ground
Freelancer Becomes: Battle Armor
Stats: 100/80/100/70/50/80 | 480 BST
Reasoning: Vanguards possess earth-imbued physical attacks, including Quake Blade. Also, their Special Ability is called Fault Line, a term relating to tectonics. Ability-wise, Vanguards are in the same boat as Black Mages, so Battle Armor is based on their outfit.
Ability-based moves: Double Hit (Cross Cut), Lunge, Play Rough (Defang), Spirit Break (Skull Bash), Follow Me (Aggravate, Infuriate), Stone Edge (Sword of Stone), Taunt (Enrage), Dual Chop (Neo Cross Slash), Precipice Blades (Quake Blade)

Form: Adelle-Monk
Z-Crystal: Firium Z
Type: Fairy/Fire
Freelancer Becomes: Oblivious
Stats: 120/100/80/50/60/60 | 490 BST
Reasoning: Monks possess abilities called Firebird and Flames of War, along with a Special Ability called Eternal Inferno. Oblivious roughly resembles Single-Minded, the secondary speciality of the job.
Ability-based moves: Mega Kick (Strong Strike), Flame Wheel (Firebird), Feint (Qigong Wave), High Jump Kick (Flying Heel Drop), Rolling Kick (Tortoise Kick), Flare Blitz (Flames of War), Focus Blast (Focal Blast), Final Gambit (Phoenix Flight)

Form: Adelle-Bard
Z-Crystal: Normalium Z
Type: Fairy/Normal
Freelancer Becomes: Simple
Stats: 70/70/60/80/80/80 | 440 BST
Reasoning: Bards are musically oriented, and sound tends to be associated with the Normal type. (e.g. Sing, Hyper Voice, Round, Boomburst, Exploud, Meloetta) Their secondary speciality, Encore, occasionally lets two of their abilities be used at once, which corresponds best to Simple (because most of the abilities in question are buffs).
Ability-based moves: Spotlight (Step into the Spotlight), Sing (Close Those Tired Eyes), Mind Reader ((Won't) Be Missing You), Double Team (Right Through Your Fingers), Swords Dance (Hurts So Bad), Nasty Plot (Work Your Magic), Focus Energy (All Killer No Filler), Hyper Voice (Screamin' It Out), After You (Shut Up and Dance), Relic Song (Thank You, and Goodnight), Baton Pass (buffs in general, in the same vein as Primrose)

Form: Adelle-Beastmaster
Z-Crystal: Grassium Z
Type: Fairy/Grass
Freelancer Becomes: Emergency Exit
Stats: 80/80/100/80/100/80 | 520 BST
Reasoning: This is one of the three pigeonholed typings, although Plant is among the types of monsters that Beastmasters can capture, making it the closest fit regardless. Emergency Exit resembles the speciality Animal Rescue, as both involve calling upon an ally when at low HP.
Ability-based moves: Beat Up, Assist (Off the Leash, Off the Chain), Bulldoze (Staggering Swipe), Brutal Swing (Mow Down), Hold Back (Mercy Strike, Mercy Smash), Throat Chop (Muzzling Maelstrom)

Form: Adelle-Thief
Z-Crystal: Flyinium Z
Type: Fairy/Flying
Freelancer Becomes: Infiltrator
Stats: 70/70/50/70/50/120 | 430 BST
Reasoning: Thieves possess wind-imbued physical attacks, namely Sky Slicer and Tornado's Edge. Also, in French, "voler" can mean "to fly" or "to steal." This is another case of specialities being hard to translate, so this form gets Infiltrator as thieves tend to be.
Ability-based moves: Drain Punch (Steal Breath), Parting Shot (Flee), Aerial Ace (Sky Slicer), Thief (Mug), Electro Ball (Godspeed Strike), Wake-Up Slap (You Snooze, You Lose), Brave Bird (Tornado's Edge)

Form: Adelle-Berserker
Z-Crystal: Waterium Z
Type: Fairy/Water
Freelancer Becomes: Unseen Fist
Stats: 80/120/50/100/50/50 | 450 BST
Reasoning: Berserkers possess water-imbued physical attacks, namely Water Damage and Flood Damage. Unseen Fist resembles the speciality Pierce Default, although the former applies to a limited number of moves.
Ability-based moves: Thrash, Outrage (Vent Fury), Storm Throw (Double Damage), Razor Shell (Water Damage, Shell Split), Giga Impact (Amped Strike), Liquidation (Flood Damage)

Form: Adelle-Red-Mage
Z-Crystal: Rockium Z
Type: Fairy/Rock
Freelancer Becomes: Serene Grace
Stats: 80/60/70/70/120/80 | 480 BST
Reasoning: Red Mages can cast Stone from Job Level 1. Serene Grace is a parallel to the speciality Nuisance, which allows spells to inflict ailments.
Ability-based moves: Ancient Power (Stone, Stonera), Gust (Aero), Air Cutter (Aerora), Power Gem (Stonega), Air Slash (Aeroga), Earth Power (Quake), Hurricane (Tornado)

Form: Adelle-Ranger
Z-Crystal: Buginium Z
Type: Fairy/Bug
Freelancer Becomes: Skill Link
Stats: 70/70/60/60/50/100 | 410 BST
Reasoning: This is one of the three pigeonholed typings, and the best "justifications" I can come up with are having Bug Slayer as a Job Level 1 ability and the similarity of Quickfire Flurry to Pin Missile. The similarity in question calls for Skill Link.
Ability-based moves: Thunder Wave (Shadowbind), Pin Missile, Rock Blast (Quickfire Flurry, Grand Barrage)

Form: Adelle-Shieldmaster
Z-Crystal: Steelium Z
Type: Fairy/Steel
Freelancer Becomes: Stalwart
Stats: 120/70/120/60/120/70 | 560 BST
Reasoning: Shieldmasters are the epitome of defense and resemble fortresses, making Steel the best fit (aside from Rock, which fits Red Mages better). This also makes Stalwart an appropriate term to compensate for the difficulty of the specialities in question.
Ability-based moves: Ally Switch (Bodyguard), Flash (Blinding Flash), Metal Burst (Reprisal), Wide Guard (Defender of the People), Heavy Slam (Heavy Hitter)

Form: Adelle-Pictomancer
Z-Crystal: Psychium Z
Type: Fairy/Psychic
Freelancer Becomes: Technician
Stats: 50/80/50/100/60/100 | 440 BST
Reasoning: One of the Pictomancer abilities, Chiaro, means "light." Light That Burns the Sky is a Psychic-type attack. (Another is Scuro, meaning "dark," but Arcanists are a better fit for Dark because of their Dark spells.) Due to another difficulty in speciality translation, Technician is chosen as the Smeargle Ability that conflicts the least with parallel mechanics.
Ability-based moves: Charm (Disarming Scarlet), Eerie Impulse (Disenchanting Mauve), Psywave (Freehand), Screech (Indefensible Teal), Fake Tears (Zappable Chartreuse), Psychic (Chiaro)

Form: Adelle-Dragoon
Z-Crystal: Dragonium Z
Type: Fairy/Dragon
Freelancer Becomes: Long Reach
Stats: 70/100/80/50/120/120 | 540 BST
Reasoning: Dragoon, Dragon, goes without saying. Long Reach (JP: Distant) comes from the aptitude of Dragoons with spears, which have a...well, long reach.
Ability-based moves: Fly (Jump, Super Jump), Zing Zap (Thunder Thrust), Bolt Strike (Bolt Blast), Dragon Rush (obligatory)

Form: Adelle-Spiritmaster
Z-Crystal: Fairium Z
Type: Fairy
Freelancer Becomes: Inner Focus
Stats: 80/50/70/80/120/60 | 460 BST
Reasoning: A fairy is traditionally a kind of spirit, and Banish spells have a name implying the riddance of darkness, which Fairy > Dark and Dazzling Gleam embody. Mastery over spirits, particularly in BD2 to have them grant passive benefits, takes a sort of Inner Focus (JP: Force of Will).
Ability-based moves: Fairy Wind (Banish), Aqua Ring (Regeneration), Dazzling Gleam (Banishra, Banishga), Endure (Reraise), Moonblast (Holy)

Form: Adelle-Swordmaster
Z-Crystal: Fightinium Z
Type: Fairy/Fighting
Freelancer Becomes: Mold Breaker
Stats: 80/120/60/50/60/100 | 470 BST
Reasoning: Sacred Sword cements the association of swords with the Fighting type. The original Swordmaster, Gladys, broke the mold as the one inherently antagonistic character who underwent a change of heart. (Chapter 3 spoiler) She first sent many to their deaths, but then she died to acquire the Fire Crystal for Adelle and co.
Ability-based moves: Counter (passive), Low Sweep (Solid Right Style), Fury Swipes (Fourfold Flurry), Mach Punch (Solid Slash)

Form: Adelle-Salve-Maker
Z-Crystal: Poisonium Z
Type: Fairy/Poison
Freelancer Becomes: Power of Alchemy
Stats: 60/50/80/100/120/80 | 490 BST
Reasoning: Of all the components required for Compounding, Healing Herbs, which can be combined with attacking items to inflict poison, are the most common. Power of Alchemy (JP: Power of Chemistry) is basically what Compounding is.
Ability-based moves: Natural Gift, Sludge Wave* (Compounding)
*harmful effects hit all foes

Form: Adelle-Arcanist
Z-Crystal: Darkinium Z
Type: Fairy/Dark
Freelancer Becomes: Keen Eye
Stats: 50/60/50/120/100/50 | 430 BST
Reasoning: Arcanists have Dark spells, therefore are fit for Dark typing like Primrose. Their outfit consists of goggles, but Tinted Lens would bring too drastic a change to not resemble a speciality, hence Keen Eye.
Ability-based moves: Snarl (Dark, Darkra), Giga Drain (Drain), Dark Pulse (Darkga, Doomsday), Sheer Cold (Death)

Form: Adelle-Bastion
Z-Crystal: Electrium Z
Type: Fairy/Electric
Freelancer Becomes: Long Reach
Stats: 120/80/100/80/100/60 | 520 BST
Reasoning: This is one of the three pigeonholed typings, and the most pigeonholed of them all. This form gets Long Reach for the same reason the Dragoon form does.
Ability-based moves: Reflect (Rampart), Light Screen (Vallation), Heart Stamp (Light of Justice), Cosmic Power (Wall), Zen Headbutt (Holy Light), Body Press (Corporal Punishment)

Form: Adelle-Phantom
Z-Crystal: Ghostium Z
Type: Fairy/Ghost
Freelancer Becomes: Neuroforce
Stats: 80/100/50/50/70/120 | 470 BST
Reasoning: The term "phantom" refers to a kind of ghost. Achilles' Heel, the primary speciality of Phantoms, influences the damage output of super-effective attacks, as does Neuroforce.
Ability-based moves: Work Up (Become the Lightning), Triple Kick (Dream Within a Dream), Shadow Sneak (Shroud), Venoshock (Milk Poison), Detect (Flit), Poltergeist (Burial Shroud), Phantom Force (obligatory)

Lastly, along with You Snooze, You Lose and Milk Poison, Bravely Default II has a multitude of other variants concerning status conditions that do not have Wake-Up Slap or Venoshock counterparts (e.g. silence, confusion, freeze) or do not exist in Pokémon (e.g. contagion, dread). These are all roughly represented by Hex.

It's quite lofty, so how about something more terse to go with it?

Sister: Nepgear
Pokémon: Neptune
Type: Electric/Fairy
Ability: Own Tempo / Oblivious / Truant
Signature Moves:
  • Cross Combo - Fairy, Physical, 25 BP, 100% Acc, 20 PP | Hits 2-5 times.
  • Victory Slash - Fairy, Physical, 50 BP, 90% Acc, 10 PP | Hits 2 times.
  • Stat Multiplier - Fairy, Other, 15 PP | Raises the Defense, Special Defense, and Speed of the user or an adjacent ally.
Other Moves: Zing Zap, Spark, Sacred Sword, Leaf Blade, Night Slash, Psycho Cut, Slash, Thunderbolt, Dazzling Gleam, Flamethrower, Ice Beam, Air Slash, Incinerate, Swords Dance, Teleport
Z-Move: EXE Drive: Neptune Break - Fairy, Physical, 180 BP | Requires Cross Combo and Neptunium Z
Stats: 80/120/75/65/80/100 | 520 BST

Form: Neptune-Purple-Heart (Ultra Burst form with Purple CPU Memory)
Ability: Levitate
Z-Move: EXE Drive: HDD Neptune - Fairy, Physical, 210 BP | Has combined efficacy with Electric, except against Ground-types. | Requires Victory Slash
Stats: 80/135/105/80/100/120 (+15 Atk, +30 Def, +15 SpA, +20 SpD, +20 Spe) | 620 BST

Reasoning: Tiny, toony, and more than a little loony, Neptune is the most prominent CPU (Console Patron Unit) of Planeptune, as well as the titular character and series protagonist. She specializes in lightning attacks and is a mischievous pudding fanatic, hence Electric/Fairy. She gets Own Tempo (JP: My Pace) from her tendency to boast about her protagonist status, along with Oblivious and Truant for the same reasons as Plutia. (Truant is hidden because Neptune is not quite as slack, and even though Unaware is supposed to be the Ability for airheads (based on the JP translation), the problem is that stat changes affect everyone equally in the Neptunia series: where Taunt, Attract, and Intimidate are absent.)
In-game, she is a physical DPS character with a unique supporting skill, although unfortunately most of her elemental coverage is on the special side.

Pokémon: Nita (Leon's sister)
Franchise/Origin: Brawl Stars
Type:

Ability:
Bear with me! (when the user uses a fighting move, heal 16% of the damage dealt.)
Notable moves: Earthquake, Dig, Close combat, Earth power, Slack Off, Bulk Up, breaking claw,
Signature move: Bear Paws (
. 60 bp. 16 pp. Paraylzes target)
Stats: 100/80/90/80/75/95

Reasoning: Nita is considered an all rounder brawler, so I gave it stats that match. the typing s from Nita's ground shockwaves, and fighting is for her up close and personal bear that only she can summon. Her ability comes from one in the game, that lets her heal whenever her bear (bruce) attacks. The signature is also the same as in the game.

"Let us lead everyone to victory."
Pokémon: M4A1 (Base Form)
Franchise/Origin: Girls' Frontline
Type:

Abilities: Friend Guard (HA: Rattled)
Other Moves:
: Quick Attack, Strength, Metal Burst, Counter, U-Turn, Pound, Endeavor, Return, Hold Back, Last Resort, Reversal, Acrobatics
: Sonic Boom
: After You, Baton Pass, Follow Me, Lock-On, Mist, Focus Energy, Ally Switch, Detect
Signature move:
Bullet Burst –
– 25 BP – 20 PP – 85% – Hits 2 to 5 times. Each strike has a 10% chance to lower the target's Defense by 1 stage.
Stats: 55/107/94/69/61/85 (BST: 471)

Reasoning: Steel-type due to being a T-Doll, a humanoid android. The Normal typing reflects her "ordinary" and publicly moral and polite behavior pre-MOD 3. Friend Guard reflects her amicable, pre-MOD3 personality while Rattled signifies the part where her personality takes the turn for the worse. A good chunk of her stats was calculated using her own stats as seen in-game. Most moves picked were chosen to either provide STAB options or being suitable for her more passive actions during battle compared to her Neural Upgrade. A good amount of Status moves was chosen for utility purpose as the de-facto leader of Anti-Rain. Ally Switch was also chosen due to the in-game mechanics of battles within GFL.

Evolves to M4A1 (Mod3) at Level 44 when she is the only party member alive (she is the only 1 party member in a team or all other Pokémon except her have fainted).

"You don't need your spine anymore, do you?"
Pokémon: M4A1 (MOD3)
Franchise/Origin: Girls' Frontline
Type:

Abilities: Defiant (HA: Anger Point)
Other Moves:
: Quick Attack, Strength, Metal Burst, Counter, U-Turn, Pound, Endeavor, Frustration, Last Resort, Reversal, Acrobatics, Revenge, Pursuit, Sucker Punch, Extreme Speed, Bullet Burst, Shadow Sneak, Lash Out, Thrash, Outrage, Magnet Bomb
: Sonic Boom, Flame Burst, Flamethrower, Fire Blast, Wring Out, Dark Pulse, Burning Jealousy, Flash Cannon
: After You, Baton Pass, Follow Me, Lock-On, Mist, Focus Energy, Ally Switch, Agility, Wide Guard, Safeguard, Spite, Taunt, Torment, Parting Shot, Destiny Bond, Barrier, Detect
Signature move:
Avenger's Seal –
– 100 BP – 10 PP – 100% – Flame Burst clone but deals 1/8 damage to adjacent Pokémon instead of 1/16.
Stats: 65/115/119/95/61/85 (BST: 540)

Reasoning: Steel-type due to being a T-Doll, a humanoid android. Her MOD3's drastic personality change resulting in the Dark typing to surface. Defiant and Anger Point really hammer this new personality of hers in due to her increased irritability and ruinous anger once provoked to the limit. Carrying a good chunk of moves from her base form to this form, she is packing various Dark and Ghost moves due to her newly found used of suspicious pragmatic and somewhat ruthless tactics. Her new stats also reflect that fact that her unique equipment in-game gives her armor points, which factor into her Defense stat as such. Barrier, Agility, and Wide Guard reference her skills during the eventful battle with a certain Touhou wannabe in Shattered Connexion. She has unusually high BST for a 5-star T-Doll for being the de-facto main heroine of Girls' Frontline and being especially powerful as such. Fire type moves were given for coverage and for thematic purpose… and for the fact she has a new cannon that can launch such "magic-based" moves at her disposal, increasing her Special movepool tenfold.

"It’ll be even more efficient if someone who can work with me comes along."
Pokémon: Eunectes
Franchise/Origin: Arknights
Type:

Abilities: Peerless Bravery (HA: Technician)
Signature ability - Peerless Bravery - User’s Attack is boosted by 30% when user is above 50% HP. User’s Defense is boosted by 30% instead of Attack when user is at 50% HP or below.
Other Moves:
: Earthquake, Sand Tomb, Bulldoze, High Horsepower, Iron Tail, Gyro Ball, Magnet Bomb, Metal Burst, Heavy Slam, Axe Strike (originally from Camilla (Fire Emblem)), U-Turn, Lunge, Feint Attack, Pursuit, Knock Off, Assurance, Night Slash, Payback, Throat Chop, Dragon Tail, Dual Chop, Breaking Swipe, Counter, Reversal, Revenge, Body Press, Aerial Ace, Body Slam, Cut, Slam, Slash, False Swipe, Double Hit, Poison Tail, Poison Jab, Rock Slide, Rock Tomb, Stone Edge, Smack Down
: Mud-Slap, Mud Shot, Earth Power, Flash Cannon, Mirror Shot, Steel Beam, Snarl, Focus Blast, Swift, Tri Attack, Venoshock, Ancient Power
: Iron Defense, Metal Sound, Gear Up, Snatch, Torment, Embargo, Thunder Wave, Electric Terrain, Sunny Day, Grassy Terrain, Glare, Leer, Swords Dance, Safeguard, Nature Power, Work Up, Laser Focus, Coil, Calm Mind, Sandstorm, Wide Guard, Rain Dance
Stats: 134/143/112/100/40/69 (BST: 598)

Reasoning: Primary Ground-type due to being based on anacondas, non-venomous snakes. Sandaconda is another snake realmon that shares the Ground typing with her. The Ground type is also a type that Krookodile has, which is based on the same order of reptiles as Gavial, Eunectes’s rival. Secondary Steel due to her metal shield and her expertise in mechanism and robots. Her main ability, Peerless Bravery is based on her Talent within Arknights with similar in-game behavior. Her hidden ability, Technician, is both for competitive and flavor reasons due to the etymology of the word “Technician” itself possibly referring to engineering/laboratory/electronic technicians. Technician allows Eunectes to use her massive physical movepool with lacking BP which allows her a different edge in battle. Due to two of her skills within Arknights itself implying she uses an axe of some sort (Tomahawk, Menacing Slash), she gains Axe Strike and various cutting moves. Being of the Pythia race grants her a great boosting move in Coil and a paralysis move in Glare, but due to being a robotic expert, has Thunder Wave as an option, which unfortunately is superseded by Glare. With Coil in her disposal she contributes to the niche of improving moves with imperfect accuracy to use at massive power (Stone Edge, Iron Tail, Axe Strike). The perk of being a tower defense game character allows her moves like Safeguard and Wide Guard. Her base stats are based on her Elite 2 promotion stats within Arknights itself.

Theme Slate Reasoning: While Eunectes does have a sibling-based connection to another Arknights character, it isn't blood-related and is instead very much bond-related, which is unique from most other submissions seen in this slate so far. With Lancet-2 as her sister, Eunectes treats her with a bond so tight; she wonders if she can create her own sentient robot with speech capabilities like her elder sibling. It feels like Eunectes's comfort relies on Lancet-2 to escape dire moments in life on Terra. Granted this may be similar to Chell from Portal's relationship with the Companion Cube minus the sisterly bonding; but there may be heavy implications Lancet-2 actually reciprocates Eunectes' cherishment for each other.

Pokémon: Cuphead
Typing: Water/Ghost
Ability: Hustle/Competitive/Cursed Body
**Brother**: Mugman
Stats: 70/115/65/115/65/115 (545)
Movepool: Superpower, Return, Curse, Destiny Bond, Shadow Punch, Shadow Ball, Teatime, Water Pulse, Water Gun, Hydro Pump, Focus Blast, Liquidation, Vacuum Wave, Mach Punch, Taunt, Swagger, Psychic, Zen Headbutt, Milk Drink, Fly, Barrage, Zap Cannon, Shadow Sneak, Parry
Signature Move:
Name:
Parry
Typing: Fighting
PP: 8
Description: (Protect Clone) The user prevents any attacks directed at it from hitting, if an attacking move is blocked by Parry, raise the user's ATK and SPA by 1 stage, if no attacking moves are blocked that turn, lower speed by 1 stage.
Reasoning: Cuphead is seen as the more reckless one of the two brothers (Cuphead and Mugman), hence why it has higher offenses than defenses, it's also why it has Hustle and Competitive (Referencing his liking for gambling, as shown in the introduction scene) and Cursed Body is a reference to his deal with the devil, which can be considered to be some sort of Curse.
His moveset is designed to be cartoon-ish and also a display of many of his powers in-game, like how Fly references his access to a plane or Shadow Sneak referencing his Smoke Bomb charm.

Reasoning: Queelag is one of The Witch of Izalith's children, along with Quelana, the Fair Lady, the other Daughters of Chaos and Ceaseless Discharge. She, along with the Fair Lady and Ceaseless were transformed into chaos demons when their mother created the Chaos Flame. She guards one of the Bells of Awakening and the Fair Lady in her domain, which separates Blighttown and the Demon Ruins. In her boss fight, she's immune to fire damage, hence Flash Fire, and her attacks consist of slashing at the player with her flaming sword, crushing them or breathing lava/fire out of her spider half.

"I shall now turn this pink ball of nice into a frozen block of ice!"
Pokémon: Francisca
Origin: Kirby: Star Allies
Type: Ice
Ability: Levitate
Stats: 80/120/80/110/80/110 (580)
Notable Moves: Axe Strike (see Camilla), Icicle Crash, Ice Shard, Ice Beam, Blizzard, Slash, Night Slash, Psycho Cut, Hydro Pump
Reasoning: oh man! it's fran kiss. She's one of the Three Mage-Sisters (actual sibling status deliberately unclear according to HAL), she's got ice and an axe. but otherwise she's pretty similar to zan partizanne. has similar stats to zan but with a bit less speed and a bit more attack. she's the most physical-feeling of the mage-sisters imo. her moves are based off things she does. levitate because she does that.

Leaders of the Mantis tribe and its finest warriors. They bear thin nail-lances and attack with blinding speed.
Pokémon: Mantis Lords
Origin: Hollow Knight
Type: Bug/Fighting
Ability: Sisters of Battle (at 50% HP or lower, attacks hit twice at 0.75x power)
Stats: 110/100/80/80/70/130 (570)
Notable Moves: Lunge, Pin Missile, Megahorn, Fell Stinger, Close Combat, Sacred Sword, Smart Strike, Slash, Psycho Cut, Air Slash, Extreme Speed
Reasoning: The rulers of the Mantis Tribe, as you might be able to figure from their name. They're bugs who are dedicated and skillful warriors who rule a warrior tribe, hence the Bug/Fighting type. The ability comes from the mechanic in their fight where you fight one fo them first and rthen the other two after that. Since the sub represents them as a group, they have fairly high HP (and I could have possibly made it higher), even though individually they have less than the Crystal Guardian. Thier highest stat is speed due to how the Hunter's Journal mentions their "blinding speed", also that is why they get Extreme Speed. Mostly they just lunge at you with their "nail-lances" (nails being the Hallownest equivalent of swords) and also throw sharp boomerags at you, which is where the moves mostly come from. That and the fact that they have horns.

Pokémon: Mafioso
Franchise/Origin: Town of Salem
Type:

Ability: Hustle / Guts [HA]
Moves: Beat Up, Embargo, False Surrender, Flatter, Fling, Foul Play, Knock Off, Memento, Parting Shot, Payback, Punishment, Sucker Punch, Torment, Baton Pass, Double Team, Double-Edge, Encore, Entrainment, Facade, Follow Me, Last Resort, Pay Day, Play Nice, Protect, Retaliate, Return, Bulk Up, Close Combat, Focus Punch, Revenge, Reversal, Submission, Wild Charge, Phantom Force, Confuse Ray, Shadow Sneak, Shadow Punch, Toxic, Gunk Shot, Guillotine
Stats: 80/130/70/70/70/110 [530 BST]

Reasoning: Town of Salem’s Mafioso is your most standard killing role, with access to a standard nighttime attack and no immunities. The Mafioso serves as The Godfather’s left-hand man, carrying out his will.
The Mafioso is a Dark/Fighting type, Dark representing them being part of the mafia, the main evil team in the game, while fighting represents how the Mafioso is the one who does the dirty work, how they get up close and personal.
Players who end up in the Mafia can usually end up making very gutsy or stupid plays, having bold claims, intricate strategies, or trying to attack the protected jailor for the umpteenth time. Their other ability, Hustle, reflects how the mafia’s attack can easily be thwarted, whether it be by the escort, transporter, witch, or the town protective who is always protecting the Jailor. The ability also kinda feels fitting for a role whose flavor is that they are trying to “climb the ranks.”
As for moves, there is pretty standard offensive stuff, various Dark Moves reflecting the dark nature of the mafia, recoil moves representing the many stupid plays mafia players could make, and other moves reflecting the very nature of Town of Salem as a social deduction game.

But we all know the Mafioso isn’t the main attraction here. Afterall…
You have been promoted!

Pokémon: Godfather
Evolution Method: Have Mafioso in your party while a dark-type ally faints
Franchise/Origin: Town of Salem
Type:

Ability: Long Reach / Illusion [HA]
Moves: Mafioso’s Moveset + Attack Order, Throat Chop, Fake Out, Shell Trap, Foresight, Hypnosis, Defog, Substitute, Fell Stinger, Play Rough, Charm, Spirit Break, Crafty Shield
Stats: 80/130/120/70/110/90 [600 BST]

Reasoning: The Godfather is the leader of the mafia, and they certainly witness the perks to being the boss. The Godfather is not a fighter, instead commanding others to do their bidding. The Godfather disguised themselves as innocent to town investigators, such as how they come up as “non-suspicious” to sheriffs. This “innocence” is represented by their newfound fairy type.
The Godfather is the evolution of the Mafioso. The evolution is rather unique, which is a nod as to how the Mafioso gets promoted into a Godfather if their current Godfather gets killed.
EDIT: I forgot to mention that the Godfather has higher defenses to reflect how they have a basic defense at night, which makes them immune to most sorts of attacks. Some exceptions may be from the Werewolf, Arsonist, Pestilence, and Juggernaut.
As for abilities, Long Reach represents how The Godfather Attacks via their mafioso, so they never actually visit the targets themselves. The Godfather’s hidden ability will be addressed in the next part.
The Godfather gains new fairy moves to represent their new typing, although they also gains moves referencing each of the mafia members they can command:
- Attack Order references how they can send the mafioso to kill instead of doing it themself
- Throat Chop utilizes the mafia’s Blackmailer class, who can force town members to stay silent during the day
- Fake Out references the Consort, who can prevent a target from performing an action during the night, similar to what flinching accomplishes
- Shell Trap reflects how the ambusher can attack someone who visits the person they target (in this case anyone who visits the Godfather)
- Foresight is the Consigliere’s action, where they can investigate and identify a target
- The Disguiser is the only role to be represented via an ability rather than move. Their ability to conceal the true identity of a target doesn’t really have a move to represent it, so instead it is represented by the Illusion ability
- The Hypnotist gives Hypnosis. I don’t think I need to elaborate further
- Defog represents the Janitor’s ability to remove evidence
- The Framer is basically useless, and thus can be used as fodder, which is represented by Substitute
- It’s really hard to justify any move for the forger, but since forges help confuse the town and only take effect when a target dies, Fell Stinger seemed the closest move to associate with

Theme Reasoning: Welcome to the family.

Stats: 80/70/95/130/80/75 [530 BST]

Reasoning: Well, this is a lot to cover, isn’t it?
Monkey is one of Rhythm Heaven’s most recurring characters, and has starred in 12 different Rhythm Heaven Minigames!
Base form Monkey represents a variety of games that didn’t have quite enough to make an entire form out of:
- Tambourine can be seen in Follow Me and Entrainment
- Fan Club has Uproar and Encore
- Fling fits for both Hole in One and Exhibition Match
- Leaf Blade and Branch Poke represents Monkey’s appearance in Clap Trap
Base Monkey also gets flat stats for being the base form, and gets Adaptability due to how many roles it has throughout Rhythm Heaven. Now that base form is out of the way, now onto Monkey’s forms!
Showtime was a game exclusive to Rhythm Tengoku, in which Monkey utilizes a hammer to hit food to Penguins jumping by. As such, it gets Hammer Moves, higher strength, lower speed, and Slush Rush to represents the Penguins Sliding about.
Tap Trial has recurred in almost every Rhythm Heaven Game, in which two Monkeys tap their legs about in various patterns you must follow. This is represented by making Monkey-Tap heavily Kick focused, both in moves and ability. The game is quite fast, so the stats reflect that.
Monkey Watch is what many could consider an incredibly annoying game to play. To reflect that difficulty to keep up with all of the Monkey High-Fives, it gets the previously made Tempo Up ability. It also gets slap and mechanical moves, as well as perish song due to a watch keeping track of time, and this move puts the opponent on a timer.
Monkey Acrobat has high attack and middling speed, which can be boosted with unburden, as Monkey Acrobat needs to not hold anything to swing around. It gets mostly Flying type moves, as well as some theatrical stuff to mimic how the game is displayed. Also, Stuff Cheeks is a fun little nod to a certain Donut Remix.
Pajama Party is a rather… weird game. These Monkeys jump around alongside a little girl in a fantastical dreamscape. Pajama Monkey gains Psychic Surge to mirror the switch to a Magical world mid-song. Sweet Dreams, from Madotsuki, is also here to mirror a certain move in the minigames where the Monkeys, one column at a time, fall to the ground and go to sleep.
This was certainly my largest sub yet, so if I missed explaining anything, my bad.

I make deep cuts
Pokemon: Anna
Franchise: Fire Emblem
Type
:

Ability: Prankster, Multiscale, Make a Killing
Make a Killing: Any battle that Anna appears in earns twice as much prize money (stacks with Amulet Coin, Happy Hour, etc.)

Notable Moves: Dragon Rush, Roar of Time, Spacial Rend, Play Rough, Swords Dance, Sacred Sword, Smart Strike, Thunderbolt, Thief, Payback, Pay Day, Trick, Counter, Double Team, Trick, Spikes universal moves such as Substitute.
Stats: 77 / 117 / 77 / 77 / 77 / 117 (542 BST)

Reasoning: Anna and her many, many, many, many, many, sisters frequently appear in most Fire Emblem games. She runs various secret shops around the different worlds and has a strong connection with inter-dimensional travel through the outrealms. Her Fairy/Dragon typing comes from being a notable Trickster in most games she is playable in and from having subtle connections to dragons such as having Dragonskin as a skill and being able to activate Dragon Veins in Fates DLC. These two characteristics also give her the abilities Prankster and Multiscale. Her signature ability, Make a Killing, is one of her personal skills that earn gold when she kills an enemy. It grants an Amulet Coin-esque boost here.

Dragon Rush is based on her being relentless in chasing down money, Roar of Time and Spacial Rend comes from her running the Outrealms. Anna isn't above playing a bit dirty when it comes to make money hence Play Rough. As a playable character, she often wields swords giving her moves such as Sacred Sword and Smart Strike. One of the swords she wields in official art is the Levin Sword which can also cast lightning strikes. Moves such as Thief, Payback, Trick, Pay Day come from her Thief and Trickster classes and Double Team comes from there being countless of Annas. Lastly she can learn Spikes as she has set traps and ambushes to get back money she is owed, another minor reason is she has access to many pointy projectiles such as shurikens and arrows.
