Abilities: Sudden Guard* | Infiltrator
Name: Sudden Guard
Effect: If switching in, only Super Effective moves can hit this Pokémon. Does not apply on first turn of the battle.
Permanent: No
Mold Breaker: Yes
Distribution: Corruptomb
Justification: “Once appearing in the battlefield, the user blocks incoming attacks except super effective moves with a mysterious, eldritch power.” Allows Corruptomb to avoid coverage moves and for scouting, compensating it’s slow Speed.

Base Stats: 70 HP / 132 Atk / 108 Def / 92 SpA / 108 SpD / 35 Spe (545 BST)
Height: 3.3 m
Weight: 666 kg
Notable Moves: Spiritomb’s learnset + Rock Slide, Stone Edge, Earthquake, Bulldoze, Earth Power, Giga Drain, Leech Life, Swords Dance, Recover, Shadow Claws, Shadow Bone, Sludge Bomb, Gunk Shot, Strength, Brick Break, Focus Blast, Focus Punch, Fire Punch, Ice Punch, Thunder Punch, Knock Off
Flavor/Design: 972 more spirits are corrupted and abosrbed by Spiritomb into a total of 1080 spirits, causing the Pokémon to evolve into Corruptomb, gaining a physical appearance in the form of a massive tomb that serves as armor. This also amplify Corruptomb’s strength, allowing it to lift up and throw away a Snorlax.
Potential Competitive Role: With Spiritomb gaining benefit of Eviolite if Corruptomb wins, Corruptomb have emphasis on the offense, specifically higher Attack. With Sudden Guard, Corruptomb can scout for any moveset of non-Fairy threats without worry by simply switching in, or go for Infiltrator to ignore Substitute or the likes of Reflect and Light Screen.
Name: Sinistect (Sinister + Insect)
Evolution: Into Grimoth at Level 47
Typing:
/

Abilities: Swarm (Hidden: Intimidate)
Base Stats: 50/85/55/73/50/40 (Total: 353)
Height: 2'0"
Weight: 22.4 lbs.
Notable Moves: U-Turn, Sticky Web, Dark Pulse, Crunch, Bug Buzz, Moonlight, Defog
Flavor/Design: Sinistect lives in an old, dilapidated mansion and the outlying meadows. This once-docile and harmless Pokemon has since turned hostile and destructive due to the arrival of Ghost-types within the past 200 years that it now has to share its habitat with.

Name: Grimoth (Grimoire + Moth)
Evolution: From Sinistect at Level 47
Typing:
/

Abilities: Bewitch (Hidden: Intimidate)
Base Stats: 75/130/85/118/75/55 (Total: 538)
Height: 6'11"
Weight: 137.7 lbs.
Notable Moves: U-Turn, Sticky Web, Dark Pulse, Crunch, Bug Buzz, Moonlight, Defog, Quiver Dance, Sucker Punch, Spell Cast
Flavor/Design: A moth with wings that look like an open book. It is believed that Grimoth first came to exist when a Sinistect chewed on the page of an old spellbook. When it flies, its back wings look like pages being blown by the wind.
New Features:
Effect: Attacks with a secondary effect that inflicts status conditions have twice as likely a chance to inflict them.
Additional distribution: None
Type: Dark/Special
BP: 80
Accuracy: 100
PP: 10
Effect: 20% chance to inflict Sleep, Paralysis, or Poison on the target.
(Put simply: Dark-type clone of Tri Attack with Burn and Freeze swapped out for Sleep and Poison)
Additional distribution: None

Potential Competitive Role: Mixed attacker who thrives in Trick Room; alternatively, a slow pivot who can also set Sticky Web.
:bw/pawniard:
Name: Knightmare
Evolution Line: Pawniard —> Bisharp/Knightmare
Typing: Dark/Steel
Abilities: Ambitious / Inner Focus / Pressure (HA)
Custom Ability - Ambitious: Speed Defiant (please give this to more mons later)
Base Stats: 60 HP / 100 Atk / 70 Def / 60 SpA / 70 SpD / 125 Spe (490 BST)
Height: 5’0
Weight: 308 lbs
Notable Moves: Knock Off, Iron Head, Swords Dance, Sucker Punch (this mom gets the same moves Pawniard and Bisharp get, the primary difference is ability and stats)
Flavor/Design: Imagine a sword horse. Congratulations, that’s Knightmare. Go wild with the design as long as it looks like pawniard.
Potential Competitive Role: Physical Wallbreaker, Setup Sweeper

Reminder that there are still 4 days left to sub for this slate, whose rules you can see below:
- Aquatic Panic -
:sm/samurott::sm/palossand::sm/gastrodon::sm/dragalge:

This slate is pretty self-explanatory. There's a reason why the most common type of Pokemon is Water, there's water everywhere in the Pokemon universe, much like our own. And, because there's water everywhere, Water is one of the most diverse types of Pokemon in the game, from deep sea creatures, to birds, to Water-types that can live on land, and whatever Palkia is. But just because there's water doesn't mean there has to be Water-types, as many non-Water-types can find their homes in aquatic areas like beaches and swamps.
Rules
- You may sub whatever you want for this slate, but any flavor you make for you submissions must allow your Pokemon to live in or near water. This could mean making your Pokemon a Water-type or just an affinity for water. For the purposes of this slate, areas near water (like beaches, swamps, marshes, and lakefronts) count as Aquatic areas, which should diversify your options.
- You may sub up to 5 unique evolutionary lines of spooky Pokémon. These lines can include split evolutions.
- There is no hard BST limit for this slate, though you should stay reasonable unless you have a good flavor justification like Slaking.
- As for what's typical for a standard Pokémon, final evolutions tend to peak around the 520-530 range, sometimes going into the 540s for stuff like cross gen evolutions or Gyarados. Florges and Arcanine are the only two non-flavor exceptions to this, being over 550, with the others (Slaking and Archeops) having flavor reasons. Standalone Pokémon tend to stay below 500, especially for early-to-midgame mons, though there are a lot of exceptions for later game mons like Duraludon or Dhelmise.
- You can sub regional forms for this slate.
- Mega Evolutions will NOT be part of this slate. Any Pokémon voted in can be given a Mega Evolution later, however.

unable to draw again, but here's a resub of this guy

Name: Flambéngo (Flambé + Flamingo)
Counterpart(s): Belubble
Evolution: Evolves into Flamilion when leveled up while knowing a Fairy-type move
Typing:

Abilities: Keen Eye / Flame Body | Water Absorb
Base Stats: 50 / 50 / 40 / 50 / 50 / 60 (300 BST)
Height: 0.7 m
Weight: 14.7 kg
Notable Moves: Air Slash, Calm Mind, Dazzling Gleam, Defog, Ember, Fairy Wind, Fire Blast, Fire Spin, Flame Charge, Flamethrower, Gust, Heat Wave, Incinerate, Overheat, Roost, Sunny Day, Will-O-Wisp, Wing Attack
Flavor/Design: Can't have Florida without flamingoes. The dark gray body is not only based on the grayish down of flamingo chicks, but it's also meant to invoke soot, fitting for a Fire-type. Dwelling in coastal wetlands, Flambéngo enjoys being in water despite its fiery disposition. It stuns aquatic prey such as Shellder by boiling the waterbed with its heated beak.

Name: Flamilion (Flame/Flamingo + Vermilion)
Counterpart(s): Drakumuy
Typing:

Abilities: Keen Eye / Flame Body | Water Absorb
Base Stats: 90 / 80 / 60 / 110 / 130 / 70 (540 BST)
Height: 1.8 m
Weight: 75.2 kg
Notable Moves: Flambéngo's movepool + Hurricane, Scald, Scorching Sands
Flavor/Design: Flamilion is inspired by the phoenix and the Vermilion Bird, both being symbols of longevity and the sun. Taking on a vibrantly pink plumage, Vermilion releases an intense wave of heat when it takes flight. While considered a shining symbol of life, plastic replicas of Vermilion are not uncommon as kitschy lawn ornaments.

Name: Belubble (Beluga + Bubble)
Counterpart(s): Flambéngo
Evolution: Evolves into Drakumuy when leveled up while knowing a Dragon-type move
Typing:

Abilities: Thick Fat / Frisk | Liquid Voice
Base Stats: 40 / 40 / 40 / 50 / 50 / 80 (300 BST)
Height: 0.9 m
Weight: 80.0 kg
Notable Moves: Aqua Tail, Blizzard, Boomburst, Dragon Breath, Dragon Pulse, Dragon Tail, Flip Turn, Hydro Pump, Hyper Voice, Hail, Ice Beam, Ice Fang, Icy Wind, Liquidation, Powder Snow, Rain Dance, Water Gun
Flavor/Design: Basically just a chubby cartoon beluga, possibly with a bluish gradient along its body. Belubble is a rare sight in Loria, being most commonly seen in the winter months during migration. Its thick skin is resistant to the cold, but is not much of a help in Loria's tropical climate. Since not a lot can really hurt it though, it tends to be rowdy as it plays.

Name: Drakumuy (Draconic + Repun Kamuy, god of the sea in Ainu folklore that is often depicted as an orca and in turn orcas are often referred to as Repun Kamuy)
Counterpart(s): Flamilion
Typing:

Abilities: Thick Fat / Frisk | Liquid Voice
Base Stats: 80 / 80 / 60 / 130 / 110 / 80 (540 BST)
Height: 4.9 m
Weight: 220.0 kg
Notable Moves: Belubble's movepool + Draco Meteor, Focus Blast, Outrage
Flavor/Design: Can't have Florida without orcas. Would essentially be a serpentine orca with large spiky fins, emphasizing the awe orcas have inspired in people for thousands of years. Drakumuy does not naturally appear in Loria, but many were kept in captivity in Lorian theme parks due to their striking appearance and receptiveness to training. Their size and power however meant that they were unsuitable to captivity in the end, leading to the release of most captive Drakumuy. There is currently only one Lorian theme park that keeps Drakumuy, and that theme park has recently come under fire for keeping legendary Pokemon in captivity...
The reason I decided to make these two lines counterparts was because I saw a lot of thematic contrast between them that was honestly accidental, but I thought would be fun anyway. The Flambéngo line embodies the heat and the sky while the Belubble line embodies the cold and the sea. Flambéngo has dark plumage while Belubble is snow white. Flamilion is bright and colorful while Drakumuy is monochrome. And while both are meant to be awe-inspiring, Flamilion is meant to be elegant and is covered in feathers while Drakumuy is meant to be fearsome and sleek. I just felt the lines complimented each other nicely, leading to them being made into counterparts.

:sm/carracosta:
Name: Tsunamey (Tsunami + Ridley sea turtle)
Counterpart(s): Erythrope
Typing:

Abilities: Surf's Up
Base Stats:
Base Form - 60 / 115 / 95 / 50 / 95 / 50 (465 BST)
Surfing Form - 60 / 115 / 60 / 50 / 80 / 100 (465 BST)
Height: 0.9 m
Weight: 40.5 kg
Notable Moves: Surf, Brine, Water Pulse, Pursuit, Dual Chop, Dragon Rush, Scale Shot, Draco Meteor, Dragon Pulse, Shell Smash, Agility, Seismic Toss, Fling, Crunch, Bite, Rapid Spin, Body Press, Focus Blast, Iron Head, Earthquake, Rock Slide, Outrage, Liquidation, Aqua Jet, Aqua Ring, Hydro Pump
Flavor/Design: Based on Kemp's ridley sea turtle. Unlike similar Pokemon like Carracosta or Torkoal, the hard shell of a Tsunamey is fully detachable, allowing it to take it off and put it back on with ease. Using this unique trait, Tsunameys love to surf on the ocean waves right next to their nesting spots. Tsunameys are also very courageous and selfless creatures, going out of their way to rescue people and Pokémon that are lost in the waves. However, despite their affinity for water, Tsunameys actually can't swim, so they need the help of another Pokémon to save anyone underwater. Tsunameys, in combination with the Pokemon that help them, are used as lifeguards by the most popular beaches in the Loria region.
Potential Competitive Role: click shell smash -> click liquidation and hope the mon in front of you dies -> profit
Name: Surf's Up
Effect: Before using a Water-type move or if Rain is active, this Pokémon changes to its Surfing form. Resets on switch out. This Pokémon's Water-type moves deal 1.3x damage.
Permanent (Yes or No): Yes
Mold Breaker (Yes or No): No
Distribution: Exclusive to Tsunamey
Justification: Flavor for the "taking off its shell and surfing on it" thing, also makes it an interesting Shell Smasher as it can set up in its bulkier form, then use Liquidation and get a better speed tier.

:sm/sandaconda:
Name: Erythrope (Farancia erytrogramma/erythros (red in Greek) + Rope)
Counterpart(s): Tsunamey
Typing:

Abilities: Long Reach / Strong Jaw / Illuminate
Base Stats: 59 / 98 / 69 / 54 / 69 / 116 (465 BST)
Height: 4.0 m
Weight: 9.6 kg
Notable Moves: Jaws of Life, Liquidation, Surf, Dive, Waterfall, Pursuit, Crunch, Ice Fang, Psychic Fangs, Coil, Wrap, Hyper Fang, Block, Glare, Sucker Punch, Ice Beam, Blizzard, Hydro Pump, Scald, Wring Out, Aqua Jet, Reflect Type, Lunge, Leech Life, Reversal, Follow Me
Flavor/Design: Based on the rainbow snake. Erythropes are the usual partners of Tsunameys on lifeguard duties. They can coil themselves into a tight ball that Tsumaneys can carry around. Then, when the Tsunamey spots someone underwater, it can swing the Erythrope like a lasso and launch into the water. Then, using its long body and good swimming, the Erythrope can easily make its way to anyone in need and either wrap its body around them or, if they're too far, bite onto them with its strong jaws and drag them back to the Tsunamey and safety. However, because of how strong an Erythrope's jaws are, anyone on the receiving end of them is left with a nasty scar. This combination of Tsunamey's surfing ability and Erythrope's diving ability is so common among trainer-owned Tsunamey and Erythrope that wild specimens have been doing a similar thing in order to catch prey that's too deep underwater for a Tsunamey to catch. In return, the Erythrope doesn't have to waste energy looking for prey itself and gets a fair share of the Tsunamey's haul.
Potential Competitive Role: A great Speed tier and Jaws of Life being a nice Strong Jaw-boosted STAB should make Erythrope a decent lower tier wallbreaker or sweeper with Coil. It also has the fastest Glare in the game, so if you don't get to KO anything, you can at least cripple something. Could also be nice in VGC with Jaws of Life, Follow Me, and Glare, though it might be too frail for that.

Name: Jaws of Life
Power: 80
Accuracy: 100%
PP: 10
Category:

Type:

Effect: When used on a foe, traps the foe. When used on an ally, it heals them by 50% of their max HP.
Priority: 0
Flags (ex: Contact, Sound): Protect, Mirror, Contact, Bite
Distribution: Exclusive to Erythrope
Justification: A fun flavor move for Erythrope that gets boosted by Strong Jaw and has fun applications in VGC like Pollen Puff

:sm/sealeo:
Name: Searie (Seal + Eerie)
Typing:

Abilities: Unnerve / Cursed Body / Stakeout
Base Stats: 100 / 70 / 90 / 95 / 70 / 60 (485 BST)
Height: 1.2 m
Weight: 100.6 kg
Notable Moves: Hydro Pump, Shadow Sneak, Poltergeist, Shadow Ball, Surf, Scald, Ice Beam, Blizzard, Psychic, Eerie Impulse, Hex, Will-O-Wisp, Pursuit, Waterfall, Curse, Earthquake, Calm Mind, Pain Split, Laser Focus, Reflect, Light Screen
Flavor/Design: Based on a Caribbean monk seal, an extinct species of seal that used to live around Florida, and that one picture of a seal in an aquarium that looks like it was decapitated because of how light refracts in water. Searie looks and acts like a normal Sealeo-esque Pokémon at face value. It loves to swim, eats fish Pokémon, loves to play around, is very round and blubbery, stuff like that. However, Searies have a sinister trick up their sleeve. Searies are always on the lookout for competitors and predators in the water, to the point where they can actually detach their heads to look pretty much anywhere discretely. The heads of Searies aren't actually detached when they do this, as a ghostly force within their bodies gives their limbs and near infinite effective range, so it doesn't hurt the Searie at all to do this. It's quite unnerving to see in action for the first time, but the residents of Loria are so used to it that many find it endearing, especially when Searies use this trick in shows at aquariums
Potential Competitive Role: Stakeout is a cool ability and Water/Ghost is a decent offensive typing, so you can slap a Choice Specs on this thing, come in on a slow Ground or Fire-type or something and get yourself a kill.

Voting has begun (a couple hours late oops)!

For this slate, we will have a non-ranked vote, similar to that of FERU. You can vote for up to 5 evolutionary lines, which each line receiving 1 point for each vote. There will be about 4-5 winners, possibly more depending on how voting turns out.

Example:
Pokemon A
Pokemon B
Pokemon C
Pokemon D
Pokemon E

You may vote for up to 2 of your own submissions
Remember that if you're voting for a set of counterparts, you have to vote for both in one slot (so you don't have to use up 2+ slots but you also can't just vote for one)
Normally you wouldn't be able to vote for unfinished subs, but because creeperguy's Luvdisc Split Evolution sub has 2/4 of the mon completed, you may still vote for it, but if it wins only Romancisc and Hartbrake would be added to the dex

Voting will close in 48 hours

:yanma: + :unknown: Azure Bluet line (2 stages) Name: Lorian Yamna
Typing:

Abilities: Levitate / Compound Eyes | Heatproof
Base Stats: 55 HP / 45 Atk / 45 Def / 75 SpA / 55 SpD / 95 Spe (390 BST)
New Moves: Water Gun, Surf, Hydro Pump, Dive, Scald, Waterfall, Liquidation, Ice Beam, Blizzard (+9)
Removed Moves: Ancient Power, Air Slash, Tailwind, Reversal, Pursuit, Double-Edge, Thief, Aerial Ace, Whirlwind (-9)
Flavour/Design: Adapts a bright blue body and sleeker wings. Lorian Yanma lives near ponds, beaches and forests with high humidity as it hunts various pests such as [To be determined]. Their wings are waterproof, so it can dive underwater for several minutes to dodge predators.
Evolution: Evolves into Yanmazure at level 33.

Name: Yanmazure (Yanma (large dragonfly) + azure)
Prevo: Lorian Yanma
Typing:

Abilities: Levitate / Compound Eyes | Heatproof
Base Stats: 86 HP / 66 Atk / 76 Def / 116 SpA / 76 SpD / 95 Spe (515 BST)
New Moves: Giga Impact, Hyper Beam, Hurricane, Focus Blast, Taunt, Agility, Whirlpool, Aqua Tail, Belch, Megahorn, Calm Mind
Flavour/Design: Develop a short horn that can be used to fetch Berries and other objects, and the wings become larger and even more sleeker, allowing it to fly and glide without being interrupted by wind. The compound eyes are more developed as well, gaining the capability of seeing their pray even at long distance.
Height + Weight: 1.5 meters | 32.2 kilograms
Potential Competitive Role: Yanmazure specializes in less than accurate moves like Nandare before it, but with emphasis on Special moves to make it more distinct than the other fully evolved Bug / Water Pokémon, Araquanid and Golisopod. Taunt and Whirlpool can be used to trap stall-based Pokémon for stallbreaking as well. Heatproof and Levitate are alternatives for various purposes; Heatproof to pressure Fire-type mons more at cost of accuracy from not using Compound Eyes, and Levitate to safely swtich into Ground-type moves.

:ss/relicanth:
Name: Steemevent (Steam + Vent)
Typing: Fire/Water
Abilities: Steam Engine
Base Stats: 105/60/105/120/110/45 (515)
Height: 5'5"
Weight: 180 lbs.
Notable Moves: Steam Eruption, Heat Release, Overheat, Scald, Flamethrower, Surf, Lava Plume, Earth Power, Ancient Power, Steaming Blast
Flavor/Design: Based off of hydrothermal vents, Steemevent is a rare sight in Loria, only native to the ocean floor. In recent years, some idiot managed to somehow introduce some to some of Loria's lakes, where it wreaks havoc as an invasive species. Imagine a Relicanth-like rock fish with ridges of tiny hydrothermal vents on its back, and a large one as a tail. It uses these and its mouth to expel boiling water, and the lakes in which they reside are often devoid of any non-fire type animals, due to the water being heated to boiling heats.
Potential Competitive Role: bulky trick room sweeper with Steaming Blast and Steam Eruption, can recover with Heat Release to increase longevity
Name: Steaming Blast
Power: 95
Accuracy: 90
PP: 10
Category: Special
Type: Fire
Effect: Super Effective against Water. 30% Chance of Burn.
Priority: 0
Flags (ex: Contact, Sound): Blocked by Damp
Distribution: Signature
Justification: The user blasts the user with extremely hot steam, boiling water types.

:bw/sandile: :bw/krokorok: :bw/krookodile:
Pokémon: Lorian Sandile, Lorian Krokorok, Krokoasis
Typing (all): Ground/Water
Abilities (all): Water Veil, Moxie, Battle Tide (HA)
Battle Tide: Storm Drain but for physical attack. Or to be eloquent: absorbs all water moves used by another Pokémon on the field and raises this Pokémon’s attack by 1 stage (distributed to physically offensive water types)
Base Stats (Krokoasis): 100 HP / 113 Atk / 83 Def / 60 SpA / 73 SpD / 90 Spe (519 BST)
Note that the pre evo’s stats remain the same
Height: 6’1
Weight: 182 lbs
Notable Moves (Krokoasis): Earthquake, Liquidation, Flip Turn, Ice Fang, Stealth Rock
Flavor/Design: Sandile and Krokorok lose most of the black and all of the pink, the pink’s replaced with a light blue, and only the “sunglasses” remain. Krokoasis is a navy blue instead of red, the gray becomes the sandy color of its pre evos. The black stripes become the lighter blue of its pre evos. Krokoasis is thin like Krokorok but much lankier, and its mouth is incredibly log and thin.
Potential Competitive Role: Physical Wallbreaker, Offensive Pivot, Stealth Rock Setter

On to one of the first more restrictive slates in a a while!

-----------------------------------------------------

- Fossils -
:sm/kabutops::sm/arctozolt::sm/rampardos::sm/archeops:

New Fossil Pokémon have been a part of every single generation except 2 and 7, giving players a quick glimpse into the ancient world of Pokémon and our own world. These Pokémon are usually based on extinct species, require you to revive them using the Power of Science ™, and are rarely seen on trainer teams outside of Fossil Maniacs, Gym Leaders, and Champions (unless you're Trevor from X & Y lol).
Rules (Be sure to read these, as this slate has some specific rules)
- You may sub a set of Fossil Pokémon that includes 1-4 evolutionary lines. These Pokemon can either be 1-stage (ex: Aerodactyl) or 2-stage (ex: Anorith -> Armaldo) evolutinary lines
- The final evolution of each of your evolutionary lines has to have a BST between 495 and 515. You may only go higher or lower with a reasonable flavor and competitive justification, like Archeops having 567 BST because it's designed around Defeatist and the Brazdan Fossils having 460 BST due to having an out of battle form change with 510 BST. Note that every fossil Pokémon that evolves from something has 495 BST, the Galar Fossils have 505 BST, and Aerodactyl has 515 BST.
- The vast majority of Fossil Pokémon have Rock as their primary typing. Because of the Galar Fossils, this is not a requirement, but it's HIGHLY recommended unless you have a good flavor reason to not do this.
- You can sub regional forms for this slate, whether it's a regional form of a Fossil Pokémon or non-Fossil Pokémon, it just has to be revived from a fossil.
- Mega Evolutions can be subbed for your Fossil Pokémon. Make sure to follow the rules of Mega Evolutions in the template

:xy/rampardos::xy/kabutops:
Name: Lorian Cranidos
Fossil: Crystal Skull Fossil
Evolution: Into Lorian Rampardos with a Shiny Stone
Counterpart(s): Lorian Kabuto
Typing:
/

Abilities: Mold Breaker (Hidden: Crystal Body)
Base Stats: 67/60/95/30/50/48 (Swapped Attack and Defense, then +20 Attack, -30 Defense, +20 Sp. Def, -10 Speed)
Height: 2'11"
Weight: 69.4 lbs.
Notable Moves: Earthquake, Zen Headbutt, Body Press, Stealth Rock, Roar, Bulk Up, Sandstorm, Crystal Impact
Flavor/Design: (The top of its head now sparkles and is hexagonal like a crystal.) Lorian Cranidos is the result of an attempt to revive a Skull Fossil that had crystallized after being buried deep in Loria's caves for millions of years. It feels completely unnatural and otherworldly to it, so Lorian Cranidos often gets headaches the same way a Psyduck does, and can subsequently unleash incredible Psychic power when it does.

Name: Lorian Rampardos
Evolution: From Lorian Cranidos with a Shiny Stone
Counterpart(s): Lorian Kabutops
Typing:
/

Abilities: Mold Breaker (Hidden: Crystal Body)
Base Stats: 97/80/135/55/80/48 (Swapped Attack and Defense, then +20 Attack, -30 Defense, -10 Sp. Atk, +30 Sp. Def, -10 Speed)
Height: 5'3"
Weight: 226 lbs.
Notable Moves: Earthquake, Zen Headbutt, Body Press, Stealth Rock, Roar, Bulk Up, Sandstorm, Crystal Impact
Flavor/Design: (The top of its head now sparkles and is hexagonal like a crystal.) Lorian Rampardos has a crystal on its head that makes it even stronger than that of a regular Rampardos. Despite this, the crystal's effects on Lorian Rampardos's body cause it to be extremely disorganized, so it can rarely concentrate enough to use it as such.

Name: Mega Lorian Rampardos
Mega Stone: Lorampardite
Typing:
/

Ability: Crystal Body
Base Stats: 97/100/175/55/120/48 (+20 Attack, +40 Defense, +40 Sp. Def)
Height: 8'6"
Weight: 722.5 lbs.
Flavor/Design: (It has crystals on its tail, chest, back, arms, and thighs.) Mega Lorian Rampardos was discovered when it reacted to a stone found in the same place as the Crystal Skull Fossils. Scientists believe the Lorampardite was originally just a normal stone until it was imbued with the same energy as the fossils, inadvertently turning it into a Mega Stone.

New Features:
Effect: User recovers 1/16 of max HP in Sandstorm
Additional distribution: Carbink, Diancie
Type: Psychic/Physical
BP: 150
Accuracy: 80
PP: 5
Effect: User takes recoil up to half its max HP.
Potential Competitive Role: Bulky physical tank who can use its signature Crystal Body to function in Sandstorm.

Name: Lorian Kabuto
Fossil: Frozen Dome Fossil
Evolution: Into Lorian Kabutops with a Fire Stone
Counterpart(s): Lorian Cranidos
Typing:

Abilities: Ice Body/Flash Fire (Hidden: Weak Armor)
Base Stats: 30/80/50/80/50/65 (Swapped Defense and Sp. Atk, then -5 Defense, -10 Sp. Atk, +5 Sp. Def, +10 Speed)
Height: 1'8"
Weight: 25.4 lbs.
Notable Moves: Icicle Crash, Flare Blitz, Ice Beam, Fire Blast
Flavor/Design: (Its shell is ice blue and its claws are glowing red.) Lorian Kabuto was resurrected from a Dome Fossil that had been encased in ice. The resurrection process resulted in Lorian Kabuto experiencing massive swings in its body temperature, leading to its Water-type attacks freezing and its Rock-type attacks melting.

Name: Lorian Kabutops
Evolution: From Lorian Kabuto with a Fire Stone
Counterpart(s): Lorian Rampardos
Typing:
/

Abilities: Ice Body/Flash Fire (Hidden: Weak Armor)
Base Stats: 60/115/65/115/60/80 (Swapped Defense and Sp. Atk, then +10 Sp. Atk, -10 Sp. Def)
Height: 4'3"
Weight: 89.3 lbs.
Notable Moves: Icicle Crash, Flare Blitz, Ice Beam, Fire Blast, Flame Sickle
Flavor/Design: (Its head and torso are ice blue, and the sickles on its arms, spikes on its back, and claws on its feet are bright red with flames on them.) Lorian Kabutops can freeze its prey in place by headbutting it, then cook it with the flaming sickles on its arms. Although it is an unusual variant the same way Lorian Rampardos is, Lorian Kabutops adapted to its new typing much more effectively.

Name: Mega Lorian Kabutops
Mega Stone: Lorkabutite
Typing:
/

Ability: Draining Claws
Base Stats: 60/145/75/145/70/100 (+30 Attack, +10 Defense, +30 Sp. Atk, +10 Sp. Def, +20 Speed)
Height: 5'11"
Weight: 146.5 lbs.
Flavor/Design: (It now has three flaming sickles on each arm and more flaming spikes on its back.) Using its six sickles, Mega Lorian Kabutops could slice open a Snorlax and drain its fluids in less than 2 minutes. The Lorkabutite is made of the same ice that Frozen Dome Fossils were found in, which is why it doesn't work on a regular Kabutops.

New Features:
Effect: User's attacks that drain HP do 1/3 more damage.
Additional distribution: None
Type: Fire/Physical
BP: 90
Accuracy: 100
PP: 10
Effect: Deals either Physical or Special damage depending on which Attack stat is higher. User heals damage equal to half the damage inflicted.
Potential Competitive Role: Mixed attacker with a nasty offensive type and Shell Smash, but also has a poor defensive typing and 4x Stealth Rock weakness.

Notable Moves: Throh’s learnset (minus Circle Throw, Seismic Toss, Low Sweep, Coaching) + Gunk Shot, Mud Shot, Horn Leech, Hammer Arm, Smack Down, Bone Rush, Meteor Beam, Scorching Sand, Javelin Stone, Rock Polish, Stealth Rock, Ancient Power
Flavor/Design: More jagged looking, with the cloth-like wearing replaced by dried mud that resembles a typical caveman wearing. Always carries a javelin-like material. Brave and surprisingly tactical, a pack of Prehistoric Throh will hunt on bigger prey like what Mamoswine used to be. Their skin are drier than today Throh, thusly it is theorized that it was a result of hunting for days of harsh sunlight.

Height: 1.8 m
Weight: 132.6 kg
Notable Moves: Prehistoric Throh’s learnset + Hyper Beam, Drill Run, Spikes, Dig, Bonemerang, Rock Climb, Head Smash, Rock Wrecker, Accelerock
Flavor/Design: The javelin become larger and longer, and Jahvolen‘s horn is more pronounced and sharper than Prehistoric Throh’s. With an even more jagged appearance, Jahvolen will take on even an Aerodactyl, with such a fierce determination that it would prove very dangerous in today to tame.
Potential Competitive Role: With Prehistoric Throh being bulkier thanks to Eviolite and Jahvolen hitting harder, this line have access to Dry Skin allowing to neutralize the common Water type, otherwise a crippling double weakness. However, Technician + Accelerock + Bonemerang are also strong alternatives. Long Reach is another alternative as well, but not running Dry Skin is not recommended unless you are willing to take risk.
Name: Javelin Stone
Power: 120
Accuracy: 90%
PP: 5
Category: Physical
Type:

Effect: 20% chance of lowering target’s Defense by 1 stage.
Priority: 0
Flags (ex: Contact, Sound): None
Distribution: Prehistoric Throh line only
Justification: Semi-reliable Rock STAB, helpful for wallbreaking without the recoil of Head Smash.
:sawk: + :unknown: Oni + neanderthal caveman
Name: Prehistoric Sawk
Fossil: Blue Skull
Evolution: Kluhbur - Level up with the move Cripple Clobber (level 40)
Counterpart(s): Prehistoric Throh line
Typing:

Abilities: Pressure / Long Reach | Defiant
Base Stats: 75 HP / 125 Atk / 80 Def / 30 SpA / 65 SpD / 90 Spe (465 BST)
Height: 1.4 m
Weight: 53.2 kg
Notable Moves: Sawk’s learnset (minus Double Kick, Retaliate, Low Sweep, Coaching) + Gunk Shot, Dark Pulse, Horn Leech, Hammer Arm, Smack Down, Bone Rush, Meteor Beam, Lash Out, Cripple Clobber, Rock Polish, Stealth Rock, Ancient Power
Flavor/Design: More jagged looking, with the cloth-like wearing replaced by dark blue fur that resembles a typical caveman wearing. Always carries a club-like material. Ruthless and defiant, a horde of Prehistoric Sawk can strike down a Bastiodon within a single Club Smash, making them fearsome predators even to this day when resurfaced by experiments.

Name: Kluhbur (Corruption of the word clobber)
Counterpart(s): Prehistoric Throh line
Typing:

Abilities: Pressure / Long Reach | Defiant
Base Stats: 80 HP / 135 Atk / 90 Def / 40 SpA / 70 SpD / 100 Spe (515 BST)
Height: 2 m
Weight: 112.6 kg
Notable Moves: Prehistoric Sawk’s learnset + Hyper Beam, Night Slash, Beat Up, Play Rough, Bonemerang, Rock Climb, Head Smash, Rock Wrecker, Accelerock
Flavor/Design: The club weapon become larger and heavier, and Kluhbur‘s horn is longer and sharper than Prehistoric Sawk’s. With an even more violent combat style, Kluhbur proved to be too difficult for even a Tyrantrum to take down, making it‘s presence exceedingly dangerous were it not for Fighting-type Pokémon of today.
Potential Competitive Role: Kluhbur may have a double weakness to Fighting to worry about, but it makes up for it with very strong Attack base stat and reasonably high base 100 Speed. Cripple Clobber punishes switch-ins by lowering their Speed, thusly opposing Fighting-type Pokémon, while able to tank it, must worry about an upcoming Play Rough or Zen Headbutt.
Name: Cripple Clobber
Power: 80
Accuracy: 100%
PP: 20
Category: Physical
Type:

Effect: Guaranteed chance of lowering target’s Speed by 1 stage.
Priority: 0
Flags (ex: Contact, Sound): Contact
Distribution: Prehistoric Sawk line, Rhyhorn line, Onix line, Aron line, Armaldo, Regirock, Rampardos, Gigalith, Barbaracle, Midnight Lycanrock, Stonjourner
Justification: Actually reliable Rock STAB, and always lowering your target’s Speed is always good.

Name: Lizoluton (Lizard + Evolution)
Fossil: Frozen Scales
Evolution: Tyranostion with Razor Fang, Argentinon with Electrizer, Stegosoron with Metal Coat, Tricerition with Black Augerite, Ankyloson with Protector, Mosasoan with Deep Sea Scale, Ignisaton with Magmarizer, Dilophion with Razor Claw
Counterpart: Technically Eevee, being its modern-day equivalent
Typing: Ice/Normal
Abilities: Refrigerate/Anticipation/Snow Cloak

Height: 1'11"
Weight: 10 lbs.
Notable Moves: Ancient Power, Ice Beam, Hail, Aurora Veil, Aurora Beam, Powder Snow, Icy Wind, Baton Pass, Body Slam, Covet, Charm, Work Up
Flavor/Design: Lizoluton once resided in the Frozen Peaks, an icy, mountainous area in the northernmost part of Loria that stays icy and cold all year round, no matter what. A rare Pokémon, it has an extremely unstable genetic code that mutates constantly. It was forced to flee its habitat when humans began to settle in the area. It settled in fields and cities, and gradually evolved (over time, not the weird metamorphosis thing Pokémon do), becoming warm blooded mammals and becoming the Eevee you all know and love.
Potential Competitive Role: no.

Flavor/Design: When a Lizolution stumbles upon a Razor Fang, it will grow insanely long and sharp teeth and claws, and become a big and scaly monstrous creature. Tyranostion was the apex predator of the north, putting creatures like Jungelion to shame. It was driven to extinction by humans hunting for its scales and teeth.
Potential Competitive Role: Dragon dance sets, making use of any of its three amazing abilities.

Flavor/Design: On the rare event that a Lizoluton is struck by lighting (An Electrizer can simulate this effect), its body will absorb the lighting and evolve into Argentinion, an enormous creature with a neck that stretches high enough to reach the clouds. Its mouth in tinged yellow as it has electricity in its throat, and can create huge beams of lighting by manipulating the clouds that surround its massive head.

Name: Coralite (Coral + Light/Lite)
Fossil: Agate Fossil
Evolution: Evolves into Coralrupt at Level 40
Counterpart(s): Megalodart
Typing:

Abilities: Healer / Illuminate / Static
Base Stats: 45 / 55 / 75 / 55 / 105 / 20 (355 BST)
Height: 0.4 m
Weight: 151.3 kg
Notable Moves: Spotlight, Follow Me, Thunderbolt, Volt Switch, Power Gem, Meteor Beam, Earth Power, Scald, Hydro Pump, Surf, Dive, Giga Drain, Recover, Stealth Rock, Thunder Wave, Shadow Ball, Explosion, Discharge, Calm Mind, Rock Slide, Liquidation, Soak
Flavor/Design: Based on Agatized Coral, the state fossil of Florida. Were prominent in ancient times because of their ability to light up the deep sea, allowing Pokemon new to the area to find their way. This did leave them vulnerable to attacks from predators, but they can simply shoot out electric discharges to ward off any enemies.
Potential Competitive Role: no

Name: Coralrupt (Coral + Corrupt)
Counterpart(s): Megalowrasse
Typing:

Abilities: Sheer Force / Illuminate / Static
Base Stats: 75 / 55 / 95 / 125 / 125 / 20 (495 BST)
Height: 1.6 m
Weight: 364.2 kg
Notable Moves: Coralite's movepool + Taunt, Dark Pulse, Power Trip, Snatch, Sucker Punch, Curse, Earthquake, Parabolic Charge, Wide Guard, Zing Zap
Flavor/Design: Based on Agatized Coral, the state fossil of Florida, and kings. Coralrupt's ruled the ancient ocean off the coast of Loria with an iron fist. While underwater Pokemon enjoyed the light that Coralites brought to the deep sea, their use of the light was unknowingly a contract that bound them to reside in an underwater kingdom where they had no power. The more Coralites in the area, the more territory that Coralrupts had and the more fish Pokemon they could lord over. No Water Pokemon dared to challenge their rule, lest they get roasted by an extra powerful Thunderbolt. However, the power they had underwate was no match for the greed of humans, as Coralrupts and Coralites likely went extinct due to a combination of water pollution and humans harvesting them to create lights and jewelry. Compared to most fossil Pokemon, Coralrupts went extinct very recently, only about 200 years ago.
Potential Competitive Role: Sheer Force tank with nuclear damage output, but a poor typing and lack of a Sheer Force-boosted Special Rock move keep it in check.

Name: Megalodart (Megalodon + Dart)
Fossil: Fin Fossil
Evolution: Evolves into Megalodart at Level 40
Counterpart(s): Coralite
Typing:

Abilities: Anger Point / Strong Jaw / Thick Fat
Base Stats: 70 / 95 / 40 / 40 / 40 / 70 (355 BST)
Height: 0.8 m
Weight: 112.0 kg
Notable Moves: Rock Slide, Stone Edge, Iron Tail, Flip Turn, Liquidation, Waterfall, Scald, Surf, Poison Jab, Poison Dart (Move from Gen X Brazdo, Poison Quick Attack), Stealth Rock, Toxic Spikes, Poison Fang, Crunch, Ice Fang, Heavy Slam, Meteor Beam, Retaliate, Swords Dance
Flavor/Design: Based on a Megalodon, an extinct species of shark that lived around the world including off the coast of Florida, and the fact that the state fossil of Georgia (a state that borders Florida) is a shark tooth. Megalodarts were feared in oceans all across the Loria Sea, being extremely efficient at capturing prey and warding off enemies. Megalodarts were extremely territorial, with the slightest disturbance within their range being met with violent retaliation
Potential Competitive Role: no

Name: Megalowrasse (Megalodon + Wrasse, a type of fish known for cleaning parasites off of other fish)
Counterpart(s): Coralrupt
Typing:

Abilities: Anger Point / Strong Jaw / Thick Fat
Base Stats: 140 / 105 / 55 / 55 / 55 / 85 (495 BST)
Height: 16.8 m
Weight: 765.0 kg
Notable Moves: Megalodart's movepool + Purify, Defog, Haze, Life Dew, Helping Hand, Gunk Shot, Earthquake, Body Press
Flavor/Design: Based on a Megalodon, an extinct species of shark that lived around the world including off the coast of Florida, and the fact that the state fossil of Georgia (a state that borders Florida) is a shark tooth. Megalowrasses are still just as terrifying as their prevolution, but not for their behavior. These Pokemon were absolutely massive, which made them the top predator of the oceans by default, but studies suggest that these Pokemon were actually very gentle giants. While still predators, Megalowrasses usually ate natural waste or scavenged fallen Pokemon, which helped keep their territory clean. They were also happy to clean toxic waste off of other Pokemon, just as long as that smaller Pokemon wasn't too afraid to take the help. Legend has it that these Pokemon went extinct because eating toxic waste wasn't a sustainable way of living, as the ocean wasn't very dirty before human society developed. Thus, scientists have been pushing to repopulate the oceans with Megalowrasses in order to curb ocean pollution, though concerns over the effects they could have on the ecosystem due to their massive size have stopped these movements from gaining steam.
Potential Competitive Role: Rock/Poison is a pretty sucky typing to be slow with, but with massive 140/60/60 bulk and a respectable 105 Attack with Strong Jaw, Swords Dance, and good coverage, Megalowrasse is probably decent in lower tiers

Voting will begin in just a moment!

Voting has begun!

For this slate, we will have a ranked vote. You can vote for up to 3 submission, which each one receiving points based on what order you put them in. The fossil set with the highest amount of points wins.

Example:
Fossil Set A - Gets 3 points
Fossil Set B - Gets 2 points
Fossil Set C - Gets 1 point

You may vote for your own submission, but it can't be your first place vote or your only vote

Normally you wouldn't be able to vote for unfinished subs, but because creeperguy's Luvdisc Split Evolution sub has 5/9 evolutions completed, you may still vote for it, but if it wins only the 5 completed evolutions will be added

Voting will close in 48 hours

it seems that I have the inability to complete my subs (thanks yoshiblaze)
