Woohoo! I was waiting for the day when the first of these four lines would finally see use in a pet mod and I'm glad it's finally happening, even if I had to make a few tweaks to it for thematic reasons. Speaking of, though, I've made a few changes to the lines overall to rectify a few misinputs - the Frydgety line now has two abilities per stage, for instance, and Azdharsha's level-up movepool listed Focus Blast twice. I've already forgotten the other changes I made to the rest but either way, and as requested, here are some movesets I came up with for these four...

"♫ ~ From a feint into a slip, and a kicking from the hip ~ ♫"
(A.K.A. Fire Type Balm)
Azdharsha @ Fire Type Balm
Ability: Berserk or Natural Cure
Nature: Bold (+Def, -Atk) or Modest (+SpA, -Atk)
252 HP/252 SpA/4 SpD
- Focus Blast
- Fire Blast/Overheat
- Outrage/Sludge Bomb/Shadow Ball/Giga Drain
- Nasty Plot

"♫ ~ I don't care what they're going to say / Let the storm rage on / The cold never bothered me anyway ~ ♫"
(A.K.A. Ghost Type Balm)
Icypenser @ Ghost Type Balm
Ability: Marvel Scale or Ice Body
Nature: Quiet (+SpA, -Spe)
252 HP/252 SpA/4 SpD
- Blizzard/Ice Beam
- Shadow Ball
- Earth Power/Surf/Flip Turn
- Calm Mind

"♫ ~ Trust in me, just in me / Shut your eyes, trust in me ~ ♫"
(A.K.A. Dark Type Balm)
Adoraboa @ Dark Type Balm
Ability: Cute Charm or Shed Skin
Nature: Impish (+Def, -SpA), Jolly (+Spe, -SpA) or Naughty (+Atk, -SpD)
4 Atk/252 Def/252 SpD
- Play Rough
- Foul Play
- Iron Tail/Body Press/Bulldoze
- Coil/Agility/U-turn

"Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. But today is a gift - that is why it is called the present."
(A.K.A. Psychic Type Balm)
Sagachelys @ Psychic Type Balm
Ability: Inner Focus or Shell Armor
Nature: Quiet (+SpA, -Spe)
104 HP/252 SpA/152 SpD
- Ancient Power/Power Gem/Meteor Beam
- Psychic/Cosmic Power
- Dig/Energy Ball/Dazzling Gleam
- Calm Mind/Iron Defense/Shell Smash/Amnesia

The event Pokémon fought hard, and even when it was announced that there would be only one winner, Canlumi and Paynaimo have stood up on top with a landslide of votes! At last, we can welcome these two sweet Pokémon into Brunica after two failed attempts to do so in the mountains and the spectres!
And so, we finally have a reason to play Pokémon Café Remix! While we couldn't get the gourmet moves across, we hope these candy slobberers will still serve up an appetite for battle regardless! ...Which reminds me, I've got to get their movepools up!
But first, it's a bit clear, but the line is Female only. Huh, we're seeing a pattern here....

Slate 10: And then there was a Paleomons.
{Fossils Slate}
:SwSh/Dracovish::SwSh/Aerodactyl-Mega::SwSh/Arctozolt:

Fossil Pokemon are rare Pokemon, only used by scientists, collectors, Rock-type Gym Leaders / Elite Four and Champions in most games, and additionally serve to bring awareness to scientifically important discoveries of Palaeontology.

Rules:
  • For this slate, your submissions must be submitted as a set that includes between two to four evolutionary lines. Its components can either be 1-stage (ex: Aerodactyl) or 2-stage (ex: Anorith -> Armaldo) evolutionary lines, and they all must be revived from a fossil or fossilised item. Failure to provide the Fossil source will automatically disqualify your submission.
  • Given the climate of the Brunica region, the base/first stage of your submissions must either have Rock or Ice-type as their primary typing. This rule can only be disregarded if your submission is revived similarly to the Galarian Fossils.
  • The recommended BST range of the final evolution of the Fossil Pokémon lines is between 495 and 515. You may go higher or lower with a reasonable flavor and competitive justifications, like Archeops having 567 BST because it's designed around Defeatist and the Brazdan Fossils having 460 BST due to having an out of battle form change with 510 BST. Note that every fossil Pokémon that evolves from something have 495 BST, the Galar Fossils have 505 BST, and Aerodactyl has 515 BST.
  • Regional forms/Evolutions (ex. :Zigzagoon-Galar: :Linoone-Galar: :Obstagoon::Wooper-Paldea: :Clodsire:) and ecological similar Pokemon (ex.:Toedscool::Toedscruel:) are permitted for this slate. Note that these submissions will, by default, be referred to as a Prehistoric Form, similar to Loria’s Prehistoric Throh and Prehistoric Sawk lines.
Additionally, you may also introduce some new battle items that are obtained during excavations or by breakable rocks.

Name: Subs with no given name are ineligible to be voted.
Revived From (Required): Specify the fossil the sub is revived from.
Counterpart(s) / Evolutionary Members: Write the names of the previous stage or counterparts of the Pokemon, if applicable. For pre-evos, instead write the evolution method.
Typing: You may use this link for images: https://play.pokemonshowdown.com/sprites/types/Type.png.
Ability: Ability 1 / Ability 2 | Hidden Ability
Base Stats: HP / Atk / Def / SpA / SpD / Spe (BST) These can be written in any configuration you want, the important thing is that it also fits with slate-specific and general rules. New pre-evolutions’ BST have to be lower than the original, while evolutions’ BST is usually higher; for regional or convergent forms, their BST must match.
Height + Weight: How tall the Pokémon is in Meters (m) + how heavy the Pokémon is in Kilograms (kg). While the former is optional, the latter is required for weight-based moves.
Notable Moves: List the moves that this Pokémon will learn, both viable and flavor moves, though the former is more important. Once your submission is voted in, you will create a full movepool for it in the discussion phase.
Flavor (Required): Describe the lore/flavor/design of your Pokémon.
*Custom Elements:
Name: Try to use distinct combinations of words never used before for moves in Pokémon games, double-check on Showdown or Serebii.
Power: [Base Power of the Move, should be a multiple of 5]
Type: https://play.pokemonshowdown.com/sprites/types/Type.png
Category: https://play.pokemonshowdown.com/sprites/categories/Category.png (Physical, Special or Status)
Base Power: try to balance this, PP, effect and accuracy; only multiples of 5 are allowed as values.
Accuracy: write -- if it ignores accuracy and evasion checks; must be multiple of 5
Power Points: specify just the max PP if you want; eligible values are 1, 8, 16, 24, 32, 48, 64.
Effect: What the move does, including how many targets. Note that while custom elements are allowed, they should be distinct from already existing abilities/moves introduced as of SV and/or Desvega, and are relatively simple to code (Which means no more custom field effects, we just introduced a new (Poison) terrain in Desvega and a 'Primal Reversion' terrain in Lutakon. Also, if you think it's codable but the coding team disagrees, then you'd better be prepared to code it yourself if it wins.)
Priority: (Optional) The priority bracket of the move. Unless specified, it is assumed to have the standard priority of 0.
Flags (ex: Contact, Sound): [Specify which flags the move has. A full list can be found in the spreadsheet.]
Distribution: Specify if the move is exclusive to a particular evolutionary line; otherwise, list the criteria of Pokémon that are eligible to receive the submitted move.
Justification: If this is adjusted from an existing move, explain why it should be changed, both competitive AND flavour wise. Note that any changes you propose will carry to the Move you suggested only, not to any similar Moves. On that note, be sure that it is not similar to any existing Move introduced in any Generation X iteration or up to SV, otherwise it will be vetoed.

Effect: [What the item does, these should not be similar to any existing and relevant competitive items]
Can Be Removed (Yes or No): (Specify whether or not the item can be stolen or Knocked Off)
Ignored by Klutz (Yes or No): (Specify whether or not the item's effect is ignored by Klutz)
Fling Power & Effect: (The BP of Fling when used with this item and what secondary effect it could additionally have, like :Light Ball: causing paralysis)
Justification: If this is adjusted from an existing Item, explain why it should be changed, both competitive AND flavour wise. On that note, be sure that it is not similar to any existing Item introduced in a previous Generation X iteration or up to SV, otherwise it will be vetoed.

This slate will last for at least 168 hours, and may be extended or reduced depending on forum activity.

With this slate, Stegohaul makes its grand return! For its counterpart this time around, I also decided to bring in a failed submission for a past pet mod, and made tweaks to both of them to match the past fossil duos and highlight the "work vs. play" theme they form when paired together.

9/19 Addendum: Added a single-stager to the batch! It has no connection to the other two thematically, but I listed it as a counterpart to them anyway since I'd like for all three lines to be considered as a single set. If that is off the table, though, I'll remove it without fuss.
9/23 Addendum: Added another fossil, and made the latter two fossils into counterparts of their own; they'll all still be considered counterparts to the first two, though. So, my submitted voting option would be the Plate, Talon, Fang, and Horn Fossils together.

MODIFIED RESUBMISSION FROM SLATE #1:

:SV/Bastiodon::SV/Cradily:
Name: Plate Fossil

Can Be Removed (Yes or No): Yes

Flavor:
A hunchbacked, retro-style Stegosaurus in Sugimori style, Stegsaw is so-named for the two rows of triangular, bladed, light green leaves for plates running down its back which are close enough to one another that together, they can vibrate fast enough to act like the teeth of a hedge trimmer; these solar-panel plates also resemble the leaves of a podocarp, being long yet rather thin in shape. The armored, dull brown scales on its back have a brick-patterned look like Sandshrew's scales, covering the tail and upper back with the rest of its body and its neck being a darker forest green. It has a cluster of four long, sharp, light greenish gray thorns on the end of its tail which point upward to strike at taller foes looming above it in case it somehow misses them with its dorsal trimmer; the three claws on each of its feet are also gray. The head is lizard-like but with a pointed upper jaw suggesting a beak, and its orange eyes have a fierce glare akin to those of Fraxure.

"A Pokémon that lived in forests 100 million years ago. The bladed leaves down its back and its spiked tail helped absorb sunlight, but could also be quickly moved back and forth to slice up anything unlucky enough to be caught."

Flavor:
Proportionally akin to a paleo-accurate Stegosaurus, with a slender neck and head and an upright, horizontal tail, this Pokémon also incorporates traits of a logging machine, with slate-gray, segmented armor plating (the result of its scales fusing together into solid pieces upon evolving) covering the upper half of its body. Armadillo-like half-rings of sorts cover the upper torso, and dark greenish black, round shields protect the upper limbs whose lighter gray centers invoke tires. A dome-shaped gray armor cap with a greenish gray stripe fore to aft, suggesting a construction helmet, tops the narrow, almost horse-like head, with its beaky snout with a dopey smile and its dull yet friendly orange eyes; behind it, its neck is guarded by rings of armor invoking both a tree trunk and the throat scutes present in many actual Stegosaurus fossils, and the powerful, flexible tail is also covered in ring segments from base to tip. The broader, triangular leaves running down the back and tail (which are grass green, the rest of the body being emerald green) are now slightly joined at the bases to suggest two enormous sawblades, and there's another leafy saw-crest along the top of the neck, but it's the tail that does the woodcutting now: the thagomizer is less like a Stegosaurus here and more like a Kentrosaurus, with a row of six light gray, narrow blades running down each side all the way to the base of the tail like the teeth of a hedge trimmer - these vibrate back and forth so the tail can be used like a chainsaw to brutal effect on tree trunks and predators alike. There are also two long light gray spikes on the shoulders, Kentrosaurus style, but these are angled forward and downward before curving slightly upward like oversized Donphan tusks, and are used in a similar manner to the tines of a forklift to carry logs it's cut down. After clearing a suitable stretch of forest to make its territory, it will use the fallen trees to build a large and sophisticated shelter for its nest, as well as stripping the leaves from the trees for food; since it isn't as viciously territorial as its pre-evo, it's happy to let smaller Pokémon take up residence and form whole little communities within the structures it's built.

Potential Competitive Role:
For all intents and purposes, this is what you'd get if you stuffed a Ferrothorn in a dinosaur costume, changed its Steel typing to Rock, gave it a chainsaw, and told it to go do a crime or ten. Stegohaul enjoys a similarly defensive build to the chestnut of doom, but its key differences are its slightly reduced physical defense and less optimal defensive typing in favor of a very mild Speed boost and a more significant physical Attack buff and its inability to inflict contact damage should it be forced to take a contact hit. While it certainly can resort to status to screw with the opposition, though, Stegohaul's best strategy by far is to use its bulk to trade hits with equally powerful opponents, and Thagomizer synergizes well with its solid Attack stat to give it some serious damage output. Iron Tail and Power Whip are certainly viable enough ways to exploit this ability, but both of its signature moves are designed to work especially well with it: Thorn Tail offers passive healing on top of the damage it deals, while Tail Smash weakens opponents' physical Defense the more times it successfully hits, leaving them increasingly vulnerable. While Stegohaul is better at handling Fire than Ferrothorn, the tradeoff is that it gains weaknesses to Bug, Steel, and Ice, the latter of which is weak to Rock in turn; however, though it does get Aerial Ace and Earthquake to deal with the former two, neither are boosted by Thagomizer and they're as such best reserved as backup options for foes its STAB can't handle. It won't be winning marathons anytime soon and it may not have as much variety in terms of attacking options as it would like, but what this sturdy saurian does have can pack more than enough of a wallop to introduce any unprepared adversary to the late Thag Simmons.

"With its bladed tail, it's thought to have cut down trees to clear out its territory, enabling it to feast on the fallen vegetation. Mysterious structures built from petrified logs are thought to have been constructed by this Pokémon."

Based on vintage depictions of dromaeosaurs as scaly, lizard-like pack-hunters, this predatory retro-raptor stands bipedally with its tail held off the ground, its head and tail held high, though its back is angled somewhat more diagonally upward than the horizontal stance of its real-life inspirations. It is reddish orange in color with a lighter orange to the undersides of its S-curved neck and tail and its lower jaw, and a bicolored torso: pale gray at the front and dark gray at the back, suggesting a jersey and shorts; its muscular thighs are dark gray in color, and there are two dark gray tiger-stripes on the back of the neck, two bands on the tail of the same color, and two more dark gray bands around its wrists like cuffs. The lizard-like head is wedge-shaped from above but more boxy when seen from the side, with fierce yellow eyes with slitted pupils and a lot of sharp white teeth like Basculin's concealed in its maw. Its three-fingered arms resemble Charmeleon's, though more slender in build and folded closer to the body (the hands are, of course, pronated), while its digitigrade, slender legs are more akin to Staravia's, though the feet lack a back toe, and the innermost of the three walking toes foot sport superheated, raised sickle-claws, while the rest of its talons are white. It's almost never seen without a large, round rock clutched in its claws, which it flings at its prey to injure and stun it - the whole pack can take down a surprisingly large victim by pelting it with their rocky "dodgeballs" until it stops moving. These same stones also make fearsome weapons when packs of these Pokémon do battle over territory, flinging their rock tools like cannonballs everywhere. Rapthlete can even cover its stone with a combustible oil secreted by a fiery orange glowing spot on its chest, lighting it on fire before throwing it for extra "kick".

"A Pokémon that lived in deserts 100 million years ago. It's thought that when two packs of these social hunters crossed paths, they would instantly start hurling burning rocks at each other, often leaving most of them injured."

Flavor:
Now fully evolved and somewhat more palaeo-accurate as far as dromaeosaur portrayals are concerned, Raptorelay is a deadly prehistoric meat-eater that's midway between reptile and bird, and instead of dodgeball, it now plays basketball, Toronto Raptors-style! Tall enough to look a person in the eye, its torso and thighs are now coated in scruffy feathers like the closely related Archeops, but its neck, head, and lower legs sport brick-red scales, as do both its Charizard-like arms, with their three-clawed, supinated (inward-facing) hands, and its long, tapering tail, with the exception of Archeops-style fans of glowing yellow feathers fading to orange on the forearms and tail tip (think of the feathering on the arms and tail of the Raptor from ARK: Survival Evolved and you should have a good idea what I'm talking about). The preening oil gland on the chest now produces an open flame like Incineroar's belt, though here it invokes a jersey insignia; it's likewise used to unleash its long-range Fire-type attacks, but the fire can also spread all over its body to wreathe it in flames temporarily and make its melee attacks even more dangerous. The underside of the neck and tail and its lower jaw are now light red, and the head sports a longer, toothier snout almost like a crocodile's, Fearow-style eyes which are yellow with small, fierce pupils, and a crest above the eyes of the same kind of flaming feathers as on the arms and tail. The crest forms a sideways fan like Braviary's except that the feathers themselves are thinner, their ends are rounded and there's plenty more of them, the overall shape resembling a fiery afro of sorts; there's also a bluish black "headband" at the base of the crest, above the eyes and looping round the back of the head. The body feathers are bicolored as well, the front torso feathers being light gray and the upper leg feathers being black like the "headband", resembling the outfit of a basketball player. There are three black tiger-stripes on the back of the neck and two over and behind the shoulders as well, while the tail now has three bands as well as the black tip (the black "wrist cuff" bands remain). The digitigrade, three-toed feet resemble Staraptor's but without the back toe, with the innermost toes sporting raised, luminous orange sickle claws which are searing hot and twice the size proportionally of those of its pre-evo, but aside from tearing into prey it also uses them as cleats to grip onto broken terrain; notably, the toe part of each foot is black like a sort of shoe, though the talons aside from the killing claws are white. The shiny color scheme has yellowish orange scales instead of red with a light orange throat and lower jaw, green eyes instead of yellow, and dark red in place of the black parts.

While able to use its fangs and claws to deadly effect on prey several times bigger than itself, especially as a group, Raptorelay prefers to fight by picking up the hardest rock it can find, covering it with combustible preening oil collected from the feathers on its chest, and proceeding to pass it among its teammates so they too can add more to the fiery covering until it becomes a fireball of tremendous destructive power; the more times the fireball bounces off of things, including their prey itself, the stronger it becomes. Once they've built up enough power behind this projectile, surrounding their prey and weakening it in the process with a barrage of fiery hits, the one carrying it will hurl it at the head of its prey, knocking it out with one tremendous, explosive blow.

Potential Competitive Role:
Passimian was a formidable revenge-killing pivot in the Sword/Shield-era NU tier, employing U-Turn and STAB Close Combat to deadly effect with the aid of certain Choice items dependent on what it was up against. Despite Fighting being formidable as an offensive type, however, Passimian's monotype and vulnerability to status meant the poor lemur couldn't move it, move it when pitted against heavily defensive opponents. Raptorelay is basically an attempt not only to play to Passimian's existing strengths, but also to make its Receiver ability just a little more viable. Exchanging Fighting STAB for Rock and Fire options such as Stone Edge, Rock Slide, Flame Charge, and an absolutely devastating Pyro Ball (and yes, I know this is Cinderace's signature move, but it fit so well with this bastard that I couldn't not use it), this ballin' beastie is best paired with an ally that has an ability that improves its Speed stat which, while it isn't too bad on its own, is not the fastest in the meta. To this end, it could be fun to pair it with one of the two weather conditions that boost its STAB, and put it up alongside something with an ability that boosts its speed in that weather (Chlorophyll for sunlight, Sand Rush for sandstorms) before sacrificing the latter for Raptorelay's sake and letting 'er rip! For even more hilarity, you could try slapping Speed Boost on it, though it may take more time for it to boost itself enough in that way to outpace the competition. It also has a rather wide coverage range including Fighting, Dark, Ground, Flying, Bug, Ghost, Fairy, and most notably Grass-type moves to help deal with three of its four type weaknesses including both of its double weaknesses - Trailblaze especially is also useful for speed boosting, albeit somewhat gradually, allowing you to use Receiver to pick up a different ability worth using, such as, for instance, Rock Head to enable it to pull off a potential Flare Blitz spam-sweep with impunity. Or maybe Close Combat plus Contrary to make it less frail? The possibilities are endless, really, but given that you'll have to sacrifice a teammate to make use of Receiver, it may still be less janky to stick with Defiant like Passimian usually does.

Given that the singles meta of most pet mods would negate the use of Receiver, I decided to tweak the ability a little, enabling you to turn a powerful teammate's unfortunate demise into an opportunity for Raptorelay to really cause mayhem. In case that doesn't work, though, I added Victory Dance as a starting move as well. I'm not sure if giving a sub what is in canon a signature move from another Pokémon that isn't part of this meta is acceptable in these subs, but Raptorelay needs all the extra speed and power it can get, especially given that its typing leaves much to be desired defensively and it'd rather get a good dunk in sooner than later.

"They hunt in coordinated packs a dozen strong, wielding an orb of blazing fire to subdue their prey. Fast on their feet, they attack by tossing this fiery projectile amongst each other to increase its power, before hurling it with devastating force."

Flavor/Design:
A massive, ancient relative of Sharpedo revived from an enormous fossilized tooth, Atollodon is based on the infamous giant shark, Otodus megalodon, whose fossilized teeth have been found all over the world; I also folded in aspects of the old myth of giant fish posing as islands, as well as a bit of the strange and monstrous fish-like depictions of whales in medieval maps and bestiaries. one of if not the largest carnivorous fish Pokémon, its body shape is overall akin to a massive warship, while its great head resembles Sharpedo's, but is much wider, blunter, and shaped like the prow of a cargo ship, with a cavernous maw full of huge, sharp, light gray teeth that seem visibly stony. Essentially, think of a mix of a megalodon's face and that of Monstro the Whale from Disney's Pinocchio film and you'd have a good idea of what its mug looks like. Its small eyes are permanently closed and a bit baggy to give it an elderly feel, and its two pairs of side fins (the front pair, the pectorals, is larger than the back pair, the pelvics) along with the dorsal and tail fins have ragged back edges. Upon its back is a thick layer of compacted sediment like a small island through which the immense, slightly recurved dorsal fin protrudes, with multiple layers in several shades of reddish brown like a sandstone cliff, alongside additional smaller rocky plates like scales scattered across its skin around the base of this layer; otherwise, it is bluish-black above and white below. The shiny has dark blue-purple skin and a lavender belly, though the silt pile remains, camouflaging it as an island on the surface of the sea.

In its Submerged form, the silt covering its back has washed off, exposing a row of dark red-brown rocky plates down its back with an assortment of fossilized shells and bones visible, with some even sticking out like various spikes and horns, making its back a far more treacherous hurdle and giving it a look more akin to a medieval sea monster. Its eyes are open, revealing ferocious solid red orbs that shine faintly yet fiercely. It assumes this form when submerged in the depths of the ocean abyss, but should it switch out, it will surface again upon returning to battle.

Gameplay Info:
Atollodon is slow, yet formidable. With impressive physical bulk and Attack, it is built to trade hits with equally powerful physically minded opponents, though without any speed-boosting moves or priority, it would probably be unlikely to pull off a true sweep, and would be better suited to clear the way for an actual sweeper. It's able to learn via level-up both Head Smash and Wave Crash, two very powerful moves that can easily obliterate any non-resistant opposition, but the heavy recoil means that without the use of Recover or ally-supplied healing, both moves become high-risk, high-reward strategies banking on who gets KO'd first. Coverage in the form of Ice and Ground moves helps deal with most of the types it remains weak to even in its Submerged form, though with no answer to Fighting and terrible special defense, it isn't entirely unstoppable; faster opponents and especially special-attacking sweepers in particular will often have an easy time getting at least one hit in before it can even get the chance to react, which in the wrong circumstances can significantly hamper its ability to unleash the strongest moves at its disposal.

Surfaced Form:
"A colossal, predatory Pokémon that lived in the sea 20 million years ago. It's thought that when it swam close to the ocean surface, it could sneak up on prey by posing as a small island."

Submerged Form:
"It descends into the depths to collect silt for camouflage, making huge whirlpools upon diving and tidal waves when surfacing again. Some believe it's still around somewhere in the deep..."

Flavor/Design:
Based on Megacerops, a kind of brontothere whose fossils have been found in Saskatchewan, Canada, Fulmenops bears some resemblance to Rhyhorn, but is in fact more closely related to Ponyta, Blitzle, and Mudsdale. The upper half of its immense, bulky body bears armor plating like that of Albrecht Durer's engraving of an Indian rhinoceros, but made of a pale yellowish-white crystal like piezoelectric quartz. The lower half has a dull blue-gray, shaggy fur covering its face, its underside, and the lower parts of its rather long legs which bear three hoofed toes per foot, as well as curly fetlocks like on Galarian Rapidash except white and almost cloud-like. There is a massive hump on its shoulders with another trailing cloudy tuft on top, supporting the muscles and ligaments that hold up its heavy head, which is more horse-like in shape than anything else except with a shorter, blunter muzzle. A massive pair of lightning-bolt-shaped yellow horns arises from the snout, joining to a single short, thick shaft near the base to form a sort of Y-shaped structure, the base of which is surrounded by yet another white cloud-tuft; behind this is a pair of small, mellow-looking light-blue eyes and a pair of drooping ears like those of Eeyore from Disney's Winnie the Pooh cartoons; the forehead and the top of the snout where the horn attaches are armored with a single quartz plate akin to a massive helmet. There is also a pair of short tusks protruding from the upper jaw near the front of the muzzle, rather like the fangs of the very distantly related Uintatherium or the tusks of some rhino species.

The above, of course, describes its Balmy form. The Stormy form is a dramatic transformation when this beast supercharges its body in battle: the fur becomes much darker in color and frizzier, almost black like its own charge has scorched it, and the quartz armor lights up with luminous streaks of electric blue like lightning bolts; its ears also stand straight up like Mudbray's, revealing light blue interiors. Its horn and its enraged-looking eyes both glow a brilliant white, and the cloud-tufts are a darker gray and far longer and more billowy with a blue-white glow visible from within; most importantly, the fetlocks now cover the feet in their entirety, emitting an electrical charge that allows the huge beast to lift itself off the ground, charging across the sky and casting bolts of lightning from its taser-like horn upon anything unlucky enough to incite its wrath. This form is based on Native American legends of "thunder horses" that were likely inspired by brontothere fossils - this is where the name of this animal group comes from, itself derived from an outdated genus name for Megacerops itself: Brontotherium ("thunder beast").

Gameplay Info:
At first glance, Fulmenops may not look like much in terms of stats - its health, defenses, physical attack, and speed are all quite middle-of-the-road as Rock- or Electric-types go. However, its Special Attack stat is noticeably higher, and backed up by several seriously hard-hitting attacks like Thunder, Power Gem, Meteor Beam, and the newly introduced Refracture; it's also capable of buffing itself with either Calm Mind or Nasty Plot, or alternatively it can make use of Rock Polish as an egg move to boost its Speed stat to respectable levels. Its main draw is an ability that enables it to become temporarily immune to Ground-type moves, its biggest type weakness, enabling it to do its job as a special attacker more freely; that said, this still leaves it vulnerable to Fighting, Water, and Grass. It's able to learn a few Grass-type moves to deal with both Water and Ground, but more surprising still are the Flying-type moves it can learn as TMs, allowing it to take care of Fighting and Grass as well. This also gives it the ability to function quite well in three of the four possible weather-based teams: sandstorms boost its Rock-type STAB, harsh sun enables it to use its best Grass attack with impunity, and most importantly, rain allows it to always hit with both Thunder and Hurricane, giving it two impressive attack options that are together resisted by only three of the eighteen types (Steel, Dragon, and Electric itself - and among these, only Steel has a Rock resist). Being able to hit anything and everything save for Steel-types for neutral damage at minimum with three moves alone is no mean feat, but unless you're willing to sacrifice its boosting move for Earth Power, Steel-types will be able to wall it without too much trouble. If all else fails, there's always Volt Switch as a reliable escape option, but be careful not to overuse it - just because Fulmenops can render itself immune to Ground-type attacks temporarily doesn't mean its own Electric attacks will be able to bypass the Ground type's immunity to them in return.

Balmy Form:
"A hefty, mild-mannered Pokémon that lived in forests and grasslands 20 million years ago. Despite resembling Rhyhorn, it seems to be more closely related to Rapidash, Zebstrika, and Mudsdale."

Stormy Form:
"In battle, the electrified crystals on its back supercharge its body, enabling it to change the weather to its advantage. It's thought that its fossils inspired old legends of monsters riding on storm clouds."

Given that it shares physiological similarities with the dire wolves there, I found it fitting to give it a tweak.) Specialised hunters who take advantage of their ability to navigate in any environment when their prey cannot, Marender roamed the Ice Age, striking fear wherever they go.
Effect: If a Pokémon with this Ability uses a damaging move or is targeted by a damaging move, the effects of the environment are ignored during execution as well as damage and accuracy calculation. (If you need to be specific, it always treats the battlefield as the same as it would be on turn 0.)

The Pokédex states it went extinct because it was unable to sustain it's high metabolism rate.

Flavor (Required): Meanwhile, for the other two halves, the Fossilized Sloth revives into a half remiscent of the Megalonyx, being a calm body with a block stripe, with two black grooves on either side. It has two long sharp claws, and a sloth head those eyes are covered in a black area. Meanwhile, the Fossilized Jelly revives into a half based off the recently discovered Burgessomedusa, being a long purple blob with two bigger blobs with pink stripes across them on either side, and a series of slimy tentacles. However, for this Pokémon, the Fossilized Sloth is attached to one of the Fossilized Jelly's tentacles, creating a strange Pokémon that absorbs blows with it's lower half, before smashing them with it's top half with claws that could cut through diamond. Then, when it leaves battle, it's tentacles retract, making it look like it's top half is sleeping on top of a sofa. The Pokédex states it went extinct because it was unable to move.

Flavor (Required): The Fossilized Insect attaches itself to the front of the Fossilized Jelly, creating a terror of the seas that can survive in even poisoned water. It numbs it's enemies with it's tentacles, which have gained a static propertiy from exposure to the Fossilized Insect's toxins, before it finishes them off with it's jaws. The Pokédex states it went extinct because it could not breathe underwater despite being a sea creature.

It relaxes on it's single foot all day long, and when it has to fight, it will spin around and strike it's enemies with both it's claws and the Fossilized Monster's tail. Flavor (Required): Ankylam is a tiny Ankylosaurus Pokémon with a hammer for a tail that scientists assumed was used for carefully chiselling rocks to make it's nest. The hammer also serves as a deadly weapon, capable of smashing rocks to pieces in a single swing, but it has a brash personality.

Flavor (Required): Upon evolving, Smashadakk becomes a lot large, with it's hammer becoming round and cylindrical, and it's head having three grey spikes extruding from it. It's black shell now extends out a lot further, resembling an anvil of some sorts. By pounding this shell with it's hammer, it can create earthquakes to defend it's young from predators, and if that fails, it will swing it's hammer at it's enemies with enough force to send them flying into space, never to be seen again. People often employ revived Smashadakks to help them carve out mountains or excavate fossils with their hammer, and it can carefully smash areas with the hammer as precisely as possible.

Flavor (Required): Dabosel, compared to it's pre-evolution, trades it's brush tail for a chisel that can accurately carve messages on walls for other Dabosels to see, allowing them to know when a predator it's coming. It has a set of long slender legs, alongside two golden claws. It's head, which has a frilled crest on the top, actually has two mouths, one gold, and one brown, and it uses both of them to store rocks inside of itself: It can then vomit them out to serve as bases for messages, which it then punts to it's friends using it's tail. Revived ones have been employed by archaeologists to help them carve out fossils from rigid stones.

Flavor (Required): This Albertonectes Pokémon consists of a small body with cyan fins, and a head attached to a very, VERY long neck, perhaps the longest neck of all Pokémon! It supposedly used this long neck to help it catch prey from far away, as well as reaching areas that other Pokémon wouldn't. However, this neck is covered in a slippery grease that makes it too smooth to be used as a ladder.

Flavor (Required): Musessic's neck and fins get longer when it evolves, and it gains a small propeller on it's back similar to what you would find on a submarine. In addition, it becomes really huge, about only slighty smaller than a Wailord. Musessic lacks a digestive system, instead storing the items it eats inside of itself like if they were a museum, where they are then preserved for milleniums. As such, scientists often use them to help store their fossils until they're ready to be revived...though it is strongly not recommended to have a Musessic battle while there are items inside of it.

Flavor (Required): This frozen Cryodrakon Pokémon consists of an ice cube shaped body with blue wings and feet extending from it, as well as a sharp fin. Developing inside of it is a Cryodrakon embyro that Oserve makes extra precaution not to shatter. It is a very helpful and kind Pokémon despite it's looks: If it sees a Pokémon dying, rather than let it die, it will freeze it in an ice that never melts, therefore preserving the Pokémon's body for milleniums on end. However, this ability has only been discovered recently, because it often then stores the frozen Pokémon inside of it's den.

Flavor (Required): Now free of it's icy prison, Cyrodernal now resembles it's inspiration, the Cryodrakon, consisting of a giant pteradon shaped Pokémon with giant wings with blue tips. It has a bright blue tail, and a blue sail that has a sheet of ice extending from the back. Inside this sheet of ice is what appears to be a frozen Donphan, but no-one has been able to get it out. A cruel and heartless predator, Cryodernal has been seen freezing entire herds of Pokémon inside of ice, before it carefully chooses the biggest Pokémon of the herd and ferries it away for consumption. Even it's trainer must be careful, for it's icy prisons can last up to a thousand years. Scientists often employ them as a form of cryopreservation unit, freezing lifeforms that are sick until technology can be made to cure them.

Flavor (Required): Uniquely among all the Fossil Pokémon, this Ornithomimus Pokémon was found as a fossilized egg, and therefore was revived as such. Sitting atop a pile of leaves, this Egg Pokémon is not completley helpless, but it's attacking stats are so low, it's better off just sitting there, waiting to hatch.
....But that changes completely if a critical hit lands on it, breaking the shell to reveal it's Hatched Form! As Hatched Form, Selthomimus has a long body with two red sails and a long tail extending from them. It has two big legs and a long neck, from which there is a head attached to it with a red sail. A very brutal predator in this form, it can strike fear into even the most fearless of opponents, slicing them to shreds with it's deadly claws.

Flavor (Required): Like Selthomimus, this Hypacrosaurus Pokémon was discovered as a fossilized egg, and thus is revived that way. In it's Egg Form, it rests atop a cloud, minding it's own business. However, once a critical hit is landed on it, it hatches into a long body covered in a cloudy tail, with sails on the top. This form has four long legs extending from the bottom, alongside a white underbelly, and a calm head with three white sails on the top. It's a peaceful grazer that has untapped potential, as it can wipe out entire mountains with it's powerful thunderstorms.

It's arms each have one finger at the end, and it's legs have tan tips on the bottom. It's head consists of a long jaw with a pair of razor sharp teeth, with two eyes and an eye covered in a tan area. Sub Review, questionable things are in red, veto-worthy things are additionally bolded:
Saw Fossil: Stegsaw, Stegohaul; Talon Fossil: Rapthlete, Raptorelay
Before we start on comments, both of Stegohaul & Raptorelay have a BST that's slightly higher than the recommended. As far as I can see, there's not a flavour or competitive reasoning to justify the higher BST, so I am going to mandate a -10 BST to both.

Woodcutter: Nice to see that line returning. Tail moves... well, at the very least, I'd prefer you call them caudal moves, because there are still a couple exceptions you mentioned that don't exclusively use the tail.
Raptor Racer: It's great offensively. Not that an Earthquake isn't going to break their career, but still. There's nothing to stop you from giving it Victory Dance flavory nor competitively.
Fossilized Insect + Fossilised Monster: Alberoach, Arctoroach, Dracoroach, Albezolt, Albevish; Hammer Fossil: Ankkylam, Smashadakk; Brush Fossil: Brusheos, Dabosel; Neck Fossil: Alberneck, Musessic; Frozen Fossil: Oserve, Cryodernal; Dirty Eggshell: Selthomimus; Clean Eggshell: Hypatrap; Petrified Berry: Castronosh; Frozen Berry: Saforvest
Before we start on comments, kudos to you for so many ideas, particularly faithful to Canadian paleotonlogy. Now, to break apart each one...

Hybrids: With the exception of Alberoach, the others are vetoed on the basis that this set contains five mons, not four. Alberoach was spared because it is the sole original of the quintet.
Tools: I was doing an ankylosaurid, but nothing stopping others from doing a similar species.
Preservation: Truant & Freeze are two things that cripple others terribly, as is bemoaned by Slaking fans and freeze hax victims. That aside, they both have terrible defensive typings and stats that would definitely prevent them from doing what they want to anyway.
Walking on Eggshells: With those stats, there are seven mons in the meta who can outspeed them in Hatched Force safely, three of whom are 4x weak to their STAB, and would otherwise mandate priority moves. Either redistribute or lower the stats of their Hatched Forms by at least 25 points. Additionally, I'm going to request that you remove the aspect of Shelled Terror becoming Rock Head after the forme charge.
Berry Interesting...: It's the Ability's name that's the most glaring question. In other aspects, though they're hampered by a 4x weakness, Saforvest moreso, they're still... usable.

Tooth Fragment: Borealidon; Mummified Fragment: Peltaghast
Dimetrodon: I was gonna make this particular species, but you got there first. Thermal Exchange isn't exactly going to help with its 4x weakness.
Peltaghast: It seems to be an alright Body Presser, but there's little else that makes it stand out.
Frozen Leaf: Prehistoric Onix, Sanaulix; Frozen Scale: Prehistoric Silicobra, Frostoboa
Sanaulix, even with Minty Leaves, would still be 2HKOed by fire moves at best.
Impenetrable is a clone of Magic Guard, not a variant. I'll prefer to not introduce any more direct clones unless absolutely necessary, so please change it.

Changed Impenetrable into Bittercold which works like Tinted Lens, but unable to freeze, and inflict Burn instead of double damage.

All changes have been made, but it came at a terrible price: The Hybrids are pretty much crippled, with the Fossilized Bird and Fish now being completely unavailable in Brunica. Should I replace them with another line?

72 hours countdown begins: Please at least list your submission for it to be considered eligible.

Ubertrainer2000 : Burgesloth, Burgeroach, and Albesloth. There is a concern for Roach Jaw & Relaxing Lunge to spiral like Fishious Rend. Nerf their damaged boost from being doubled to a 50% boost.

You may vote for as many or as few options as you like, but we encourage you to vote as many options as possible as the more you vote for, the more points your individual votes will be weighted. The fossils will the highest amount of votes will be admitted in.

Our Fossil winner by a wide margin is Falchion with the Stegsaw line, Rapthete line, Atollodon, Fulmenops!

Discussion phase is in effect. Sub winner, please provide one competitive moveset for each member of your subs (and yes, that includes pre-evos)

CONGRATULATIONS, FALCHION. YOUR DINOSAURS ARE THE KING OF PREHISTORY! (EVEN IF TWO OF THEM ARE'NT ACTUALLY DINOSAURS)
PLEASE CHOOSE AN OPTION:
TRY AGAIN
(X) ASSUME THE DISGUISE OF AN ORDINARY USER, THROW THE FIVE LOSERS INTO SOME SOLOMOD OR SOMETHING, AND WAIT UNTIL THE NEXT SLATE BEGINS (NOT MUCH REMAINS NOW!)

Slate 12: Gods above men
{Pseudo-Legendary/Exceptional Evolutions Slate}

Our penultimate slate features the intriguing assemble of Pseudo-Legendary Pokémon: while they themselves are merely rare, their strength is capable of rivalling most of them, with many seeing use in at least UUBL to Ubers, one form or another.

Additionally, based on :Archaludon:, we are (cautiously) implementing a new category: Exceptional Evolutions. To figure out what that means, take care to read both the rules A N D the template provided:

Pseudo-Legendary Rules:
  • All submissions must be respective of the following BST range:
    • 300 BST or approximative (a 25 BST difference) for the first stage.
    • 420 BST or approximative (a 15 BST difference) for the second stage.
    • 600 BST, no higher and no lower, for the final stage.
    • Because of the high BST, please be sensible with the stat distribution. Something with 150 Attack & Special Attack and 120 Speed is very likely to get vetoed, even with a bad typing.
  • While the majority of Pseudo-Legendary Pokémon are usually Dragon-type, our track record in Gen X winners differ. Brazdo had the Electric/Steel Galliwatt line, Loria had the Bug/Steel Aretle line, and Desvega had the Ice/Fairy Snolobe line.
  • Up to four submissions per person, with a max. of two to be considered as each other's counterparts.
  • Your submission can be a regional form (ex. :Sliggoo-Hisui::Goodra-Hisui:), a regional replacement evolution, or ecologically similar to an existing pseudo-legendary line, though note that, as seen above, only the former has precedent.
Name: Subs with no given name are ineligible to be voted.
Intended Power-level (Required): Brunica OU / Brunica Uber
Counterpart(s) / Evolutionary Members: Write the names of the previous stage or counterparts of the Pokemon, if applicable. For pre-evos, instead write the evolution method.
Typing: You may use this link for images: https://play.pokemonshowdown.com/sprites/types/Type.png.
Ability: Ability 1 / Ability 2 | Hidden Ability
Base Stats: HP / Atk / Def / SpA / SpD / Spe (BST) These can be written in any configuration you want, the important thing is that it also fits with slate-specific and general rules. For regional or convergent forms, their BST must match.

Permanent (Yes or No): [Specify whether or not the ability can't be suppressed, Skill Swapped, or copied]
Ignorable (Yes or No): [Specify whether or not the ability is ignored by Mold Breaker]
Distribution: Specify if the Ability is exclusive to a particular evolutionary line; otherwise, list the criteria of Pokémon that are eligible to receive the submitted ability.
Justification: If this is adjusted from an existing Ability, explain why it should be changed, both competitive AND flavour wise. Note that any changes you propose will carry to the Ability you suggested only, not to any similar Abilities. On that note, be sure that it is not similar to any existing Ability introduced in any Generation X iteration or up to SV, otherwise it will be vetoed.
Name: [Name of the item]

Exceptional Evolution Rules:
  • Must have 600 Base Stat Total.
  • Must be a new stage evolution (stage 1 > stage 2 or stage 2 > stage 3) of a previously established Pokémon of at least 495 BST, be it from an official region or one of the three previous Gen X regions. This includes those who have been adjusted, which has been put together in a list provided by Samtendo09 .
  • Be cautious with giving your subs a strong type combination / moves / Abilities, given that part of Archaludon’s ban from Gen 9 OU is due to combination of Stamina, great defensive type and Electro Shot.
Name: Subs with no given name are ineligible to be voted.
Intended Power-level (Required): Brunica OU / Brunica Uber
Evolutionary Members:
CAUTION: IF YOU SELECT A GEN X LINE THAT DOES NOT HAVE A FULL MOVEPOOL, YOU ARE REQUIRED TO PROVIDE IT TO THE OTHER MEMBERS AS WELL.

Typing: You may use this link for images: https://play.pokemonshowdown.com/sprites/types/Type.png.
Ability: Ability 1 / Ability 2 | Hidden Ability
Base Stats: HP / Atk / Def / SpA / SpD / Spe (600)

This slate will last for 240 hours, and may be extended or reduced depending on activity.

Name: Protopogo (Proto- + pogo (the suffix for many Canadian lake monsters)
Counterpart(s) / Evolutionary Members: Exopogo (Lvl 35)
Typing: Water/Dragon
Ability: Gritty* / Battle Tide | Propeller Tail
Base Stats: 40 / 70 / 35 / 70 / 35 / 60 (310)
Height + Weight: 0.5m + 9kg
Flavor (Required): Protopogo may not be among the most frightening of the Pokemon native to Brunica, but they are certainly among the oldest. This serpentine Pokemon has lived in Brunica in the days before Akulut and Wendora's arrival, and its mischievous nature once made it an option for some to choose as a First Partner Pokemon. All changed, however, after Lutakon's slumber...

Name: Exopogo (Exo-, an outsider + pogo (the suffix for many Canadian lake monsters)
Counterpart(s) / Evolutionary Members: Pseudopogo (lvl 53)
Typing: Water/Dragon
Ability: Gritty* / Battle Tide | Propeller Tail
Base Stats: 65 / 85 / 55 / 85 / 55 / 75 (420)
Height + Weight: 1.5m, 41kg
Flavor (Required): The aftermath of Lutakon's slumber had changed Brunica for the worse. The people who once laughed at its mischief now frowned, casting it aside as they tried to move on and recover. Exopogo, unable to cope with the grim atmosphere and changing times, suffered greatly...

Name: Pseudopogo (Pseudo {okay, bit tongue-in-cheek, I know} + pogo (the suffix for many Canadian lake monsters)
Intended Power-level (Required): Brunica OU
Counterpart(s) / Evolutionary Members: Protopogo, Exopogo
Typing: Water/Dragon
Ability: Gritty* / Battle Tide | Propeller Tail
Base Stats: 90 / 114 / 94 / 114 / 94 / 94 (600)
Height + Weight: 15m, 205 kg
Notable Moves: Aqua Jet, Liquidation, Aqua Tail, Scald, Surf, Hydro Pump, Rain Dance, Breaking Swipe, Dragon Tail, Outrage, Dragon Pulse, Draco Meteor, Dragon Dance, Iron Head, Iron Tail, Flash Cannon, Flamethrower, Fire Blast, Earthquake, Earth Power, Body Press, Superpower, Focus Blast, Giga Drain, Energy Ball, Wild Charge, Thunderbolt, Thunder, Bounce, Air Slash, Hurricane, Glare, Ice Spinner, Freeze-Dry, Ice Beam, Blizzard, U-Turn, Coil, Calm Mind
Flavor (Required): Pseudopogo is a shell of its former self, though at the same time its own power had grown. Whispers grow of sightings of Pseudopogo within the lakes and rivers of Brunica, sparking renewed interest. Only few dedicated scientists would realise its historical value, but Pseudopogo no longer cares - if being strong was the only way it could be with others, so be it.
Effect: If the Pokemon is inflicted with a non-volatile status condition, its Special Attack is boosted by 50%.
Permanent (Yes or No): No
Ignorable (Yes or No): No
Distribution: Pseudopogo line, special-inclined mons who'd you otherwise give Guts to
Name: Bouffalbo [bouffant + buffalo + balbo, a beard style]
Intended Power Level: Brunica Ubers
Counterpart(s) / Evolutionary Members
: Bouffalant (Level up after defeating five Psychic-type Pokemon by using a Rock-type move whilst holding a Horn O'Plenty.)
Typing: Normal / Rock
Ability: Enlightenment* / Sap Sipper | Rock Head
Base Stats: 100 HP / 135 Atk / 115 Def / 90 SpA / 115 SpD / 45 Spe [600 BST]
Height + Weight: 2.9m / 287.3 kg
Notable Moves: Bouffalant's (partial) moveset + Hyper Voice, Pain Split, Smack Down, Power Gem, Meteor Beam, Sandstorm, Stealth Rock, Psyshock, Psychic, Future Sight, Calm Mind, Gravity, Psychic Terrain, Trick Room, Wood Hammer, Giga Drain, Energy Ball, Solar Beam, Grass Knot, Grassy Terrain, Body Press, Low Kick, Focus Blast, Shadow Ball. {Also gets access to the 'Dread Stampede' Balm Move}
Flavor (Required): You can't get more Canadian, and spiritual, without talking about the buffalo, one of the most significant animals in Canadian history. This evolution improves primarily on the same 'hair' motif by adding more luscious locks under its head, resembling a beard which buffalo are known for, its eyes are shut completely, and its horns grow larger like tree roots. Bouffalbo emerge as leaders of the Bouffalant herd they are raised in, and are revered across Brunica as symbols of wisdom. In times of tragedy, it will sacrifice itself for its herd without hesitation and supports other species of Pokemon that share its habitat. Some people joke that its hair is so big because it knows so much.
Effect: The power of Psychic moves used by the Pokémon is increased by 50%.
Permanent (Yes or No): No
Ignorable (Yes or No): No
Distribution: Bouffalbo (for now)
