Gliscor sports a great typing, reliable recovery, and an amazing ability in Poison Heal, which allows it to ignore the effects of status afflictions and the omnipresent Knock Off once it is activated. Said traits make Gliscor a very resilient wincon in National Dex, capable of outlasting many Pokemon that can pressure it offensively, such as Weavile, Kyurem, and Ash-Greninja. These characteristics also allow it to check huge threats in Heatran, Mega Mawile, and Mega Tyranitar, take advantage of defensive staples such as Toxapex, Zapdos lacking Hidden Power Ice, and bulky Landorus-T, and serve as a Volt Switch blocker and source of Ground immunity. Swords Dance uses the abundance of free turns Gliscor gets against passive Pokemon to boost its average Attack stat to dangerous levels. Roost helps Gliscor in continuously checking strong attackers such as Heatran and Mega Tyranitar, allows it to shrug off any damage passive Pokemon may cause, and minimizes Hidden Power Ice damage from Landorus-T. Facade is a good coverage option, nailing common switch-ins to Earthquake such as Landorus-T and Zapdos. The given EV spread allows Gliscor to outspeed Modest Heatran with a Jolly nature and heal more HP from Poison Heal. 52 Defense EVs are run in order to take a Play Rough into Sucker Punch from Mega Mawile once Poison Heal is in effect. The remaining EVs are dumped into Special Defense to let Gliscor better take on threats such as Heatran and Clefable. 112 Speed EVs can be run instead in order to outspeed the likes of Timid Heatran, Adamant Rillaboom, and Jolly Bisharp, but this noticeably compromises Gliscor's bulk.

Gliscor fits best on balance and bulky offense teams that are in need of a wincon capable of taking advantage of Pokemon like Heatran, Zapdos, and Toxapex. As Gliscor forces many switches due to its resiliency paired with its boosting prowess, pairing it with entry hazard-stacking cores of Pokemon like Mega Tyranitar, Clefable, and Ferrothorn is often a good idea, allowing Gliscor to overwhelm offensive checks such as Kyurem, Weavile, and Ash-Greninja. Clefable and Ferrothorn can also provide Knock Off support to remove Heavy-Duty Boots from Slowbro, Zapdos, and Blissey, whereas Mega Tyranitar can Pursuit trap a roadblock to Gliscor in Mega Latias, as well as Weavile and Ash-Greninja locked into Dark-type moves. Even though Gliscor, is immune to Ground, it can be overwhelmed by the likes of Swords Dance Landorus-T, Garchomp, and Excadrill. Pokemon that better limit these threats, such as Corviknight, Ice Beam Slowbro and Mega Latias, and Tangrowth, are useful teammates to have. Revenge killers in the form of Weavile, Ash-Greninja, Mega Lopunny, and Tapu Koko are important to limit the likes of Kyurem and Kartana. A few Steel-types in Curse Mega Scizor, Corviknight, and Skarmory have the typing, bulk, and recovery to take Gliscor on indefinitely. Therefore, Pokemon that can pressure or defeat them, such as Heatran and Magnezone, make for good partners as well. Furthermore, Gliscor can easily fall prey to dangerous offensive threats, particularly Kyurem, Mega Charizard Y, Ash-Greninja, and Weavile. Thus, sturdy counterplay to these, such as Clefable for the former and Toxapex for the latter three, is important. Lastly, as Gliscor is a capable wallbreaker, it benefits late-game cleaners such as Mega Lopunny, Swords Dance Mega Mawile, and Mega Scizor. All of them hugely appreciate Gliscor's ability to take advantage of Toxapex, and in case of the latter two, Heatran as well.

Knock Off is situationally helpful over Facade in getting rid of items from the likes of Landorus-T, Slowbro, and Corviknight. However, it is considerably weaker against neutral targets, and forgoing Facade invites dangerous wallbreakers such as Mega Charizard Y and Rillaboom into battle. Gliscor may run utility-oriented sets with moves such as Stealth Rock, Defog, and U-turn as well. However, Gliscor fails to keep Stealth Rock up against the popular Corviknight, and thus requires support from Magnezone as an entry hazard setter. Meanwhile, Defog sets aren't viable outside of stall teams due to how passive they are.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Ice-type Pokemon and Coverage**: Ice-types such as Weavile and Kyurem pressure Gliscor immensely with their STAB moves. Both have to meticulously manage their health in order to keep up with Gliscor's resiliency, however. Ice-type coverage from the likes of Magearna, Clefable, Mega Tyranitar, and Mega Mawile can catch Gliscor off guard as well.

**Offensive Water-types**: The likes of Ash-Greninja, Mega Swampert, Greninja, Mega Gyarados, and Manaphy can all easily threaten Gliscor and force it out with their STAB moves.

**Setup Sweepers**: Due to Gliscor's less-than-stellar initial damage output, it can fall prey to various setup sweepers such as Swords Dance Garchomp, Landorus-T, Rillaboom, and Kartana; Calm Mind Clefable and Tapu Lele; and Bulk Up Cinderace.

**Physical Walls**: Pokemon such as Slowbro, Curse Mega Scizor, Tangrowth, Corviknight, and Skarmory all boast the bulk and typing to hold Gliscor off throughout a match.

Gliscor sports a great typing, access to reliable recovery, and an amazing ability in Poison Heal, which allows it to negate status effects and the omnipresent Knock Off once it is activated. Said traits make Gliscor an extremely resilient wincon in National Dex, and allows it to check huge threats in Heatran, Aegislash, and Mega Tyranitar, as well as take advantage of many defensive staples such as Toxapex, bulky Tornadus-T, and Clefable. It may be worth briefly highlighting that it can easily outlast Pokemon that can pressure it offensively, such as Ash-Greninja and Galarian Darmanitan, ultimately making it an even more potent wincondition. Swords Dance allows Gliscor to take advantage of the abundance of free turns it gets against passive Pokemon and threaten the opposition by boosting its average Attack to dangerous levels. Roost enables Gliscor in continuously checking strong attackers such as Heatran and Mega Tyranitar, allows it to shrug off any damage passive Pokemon may cause, and minimize Hidden Power Ice damage from the likes of Tangrowth and Landorus-T. I don't think Tangrowth is worth mentioning here because that is still a matchup you lose short-term. They just use Hidden Power Ice while at full and then spam Giga Drain. Facade is the best coverage option, nailing common Earthquake switchins such as Tornadus-T, Hydreigon, and Tangrowth. Knock Off may be situationally helpful in getting rid of items, in particular Rocky Helmet from Tangrowth, Slowbro, and Corviknight. However, forgoing Facade invites a dangerous wallbreaker in Hydreigon into battle, and is therefore not recommended. Hydreigon isn't the sole reason why it isn't. With Knock Off, Gliscor also just outright fails to make much meaningful progress against Tornadus-T and Tangrowth because of how weak it is. A Jolly nature in conjunction with the given EV spread allows Gliscor to outspeed Modest Heatran, hit a Poison Heal number and therefore heal more HP, avoid the 2HKO from Mega Metagross’s Meteor Mash if Poison Heal is in effect, and 2HKO it in return with Earthquake. The way this is phrased makes it sound like the Jolly nature allows Gliscor hit a Poison Heal number. The rest is dumped into Special Defense in order to better take on threats such as Heatran and Tornadus-T.

Gliscor fits best on balance and bulky offensive teams that are in need of a wincon capable of taking advantage of Heatran and Toxapex. As Gliscor has a tendency to force a plethora of switches due to its resiliency paired with its boosting prowess, pairing it with entry hazard-stacking cores is often a great idea to capitalize on this. The actual notability of this sentence gets lost pretty badly due to how convoluted it is, so it may be worth including a few examples of Pokemon you can overwhelm with entry hazards to connect back to the key point. As such, Stealth Rock setters such as Mega Tyranitar, Clefable, Heatran, and Hippowdon, as well as the metagame’s premier Spikes setter in Ferrothorn, pair well. Ash-Greninja's a fine fit on some Gliscor teams too. Moreover, as Gliscor fails to adequately check Mega Metagross, Hippowdon can help Gliscor out in this regard, as well as amplify the effectiveness of entry hazard-stacking with Whirlwind. Furthermore, Gliscor can easily fall prey to dangerous offensive threats, in particular Galarian Darmanitan and Ash-Greninja. Thus, sturdy counterplay to these, such as Tapu Fini, Slowbro and Rotom-H for the former, and Toxapex, Assault Vest Tangrowth, and the aforementioned Ferrothorn for the latter, is particularly important. I'm not really a fan of this phrasing as it seemingly suggests that Tapu Fini is sturdy counterplay to Galarian Darmanitan, but not Ash-Greninja. Obviously, this isn't right as it's much more prone to being overwhelmed by Galarian Darmanitan than Ash-Greninja with all things in mind. Corviknight is a great obstacle for Gliscor, as it is immune to Earthquake, has the bulk and recovery to PP stall Facade, and can use Gliscor as an opportunity to clear up any entry hazards. Therefore, Pokemon that can pressure or defeat it, such as Heatran, Rotom-H, and Magnezone make for good partners as well. Lastly, as Gliscor is a capable wallbreaker, late-game cleaners that can take advantage of this, such as Mega Lopunny, Ash-Greninja, and Choice Scarf Galarian Darmanitan, are great teammates as well. Moreover, all of them hugely appreciate Gliscor’s ability to take advantage of Toxapex.

You should definitely mention Pursuit trappers; trapping Mega Latias and Mega Latios is incredibly useful for Gliscor.

Said traits make Gliscor an extremely resilient wincondition in National Dex, capable of outlasting many Pokemon that can pressure it offensively, such as Ash-Greninja, Kyurem, and Weavile. I think there are better options than Kyurem here considering many Kyurem are Roost variants. These characteristics also allow it to check huge threats in Heatran, Cinderace lacking Bulk Up, and Mega Tyranitar, as well as take advantage of many defensive staples such as Toxapex, Zapdos lacking Hidden Power Ice, and Clefable lacking Calm Mind. Swords Dance allows Gliscor to take advantage of the abundance of free turns it gets against passive Pokemon and threaten the opposition by boosting its average Attack to dangerous levels. You could also mention that this lets you outspeed threats such as Bisharp and Adamant Band Rilla.

There are definitely other Physically Bulky Pokemon that can be mentioned here outside of Hippo. A few Steel-types in Curse Mega Scizor, Corviknight, and Skarmory are annoying obstacles for Gliscor, as they have the typing, bulk, and recovery to take Gliscor on. I wouldn’t say it really “nails” Tangrowth, you aren’t doing much unless you’re at +6. Tangrowth in general has become less common, so it might be worth removing this. The given EV spread allows Gliscor to outspeed Modest Heatran with a Jolly nature and hit a Poison Heal number and therefore heal more HP. 52 Defense EVs are run in order to take a Play Rough into Sucker Punch from Mega Mawile once Poison Heal is in effect. It also takes two unboosted Pyro Balls from Cinderace after Poison Heal. 192 EVs are dumped into Special Defense in order to let Gliscor better take on threats such as Heatran and Clefable. I would just say “the rest of the EVs” 112 Speed EVs can be run instead in order to outspeed the likes of Timid Heatran, Adamant Rillaboom, and Jolly Bisharp but it noticeably compromises Gliscor's bulk.

Knock Off is situationally helpful over Facade in getting rid of items from the likes of Landorus-T, Slowbro, and Corviknight. However, it is considerably weaker against neutral targets and forgoing Facade invites dangerous wallbreakers such as Mega Charizard Y and Rillaboom into battle. Gliscor may opt to run utility-oriented sets with moves such as Stealth Rock, Defog, and U-turn as well. However, Gliscor fails to keep Stealth Rock up against the popular Corviknight, and thus requires support from Magnezone as an entry hazard setter. Meanwhile, Defog sets suffer from a lack of viability outside of stall teams due to how passive they are.

**Ice-types**: Ice-types such as Weavile and Kyurem pressure Gliscor immensely with their STAB moves. Both have to meticulously manage their health though, in order to keep up with Gliscor's resiliency. Ice-type coverage from the likes of Magearna, Clefable, Mega Tyranitar, and Mega Mawile can catch Glisor off guard as well. you should change this to "Ice-types and coverage" to convey this if you're going to mention Ice-type coverage as well

**Offensive Water-types**: The likes of Ash-Greninja, Mega Swampert, Mega Gyarados, and Manaphy can all easily threaten Gliscor and force it out with their STAB moves.

**Setup Sweepers**: Due to Gliscor's less-than-stellar initial damage output, it can fall prey to various setup sweepers such as Swords Dance Garchomp, Landorus-T, Rillaboom, and Kartana, Calm Mind Clefable and Tapu Lele, and Bulk Up Cinderace.

**Physical Walls**: Pokemon such as Slowbro, Curse Mega Scizor, Tangrowth, Corviknight, and Skarmory all boast the bulk and typing to hold Gliscor off throughout a match.

[SET COMMENTS]
Gliscor sports a great typing, access to reliable recovery, and an amazing ability in Poison Heal, which allows it to ignore the effects of status afflictions and the omnipresent Knock Off once it is activated. Said traits make Gliscor a very resilient wincon in National Dex, capable of outlasting many Pokemon that can pressure it offensively, such as Weavile, Kyurem, and Ash-Greninja. These characteristics also allow it to check huge threats in Heatran, Mega Mawile, and Mega Tyranitar; (comma -> semicolon) take advantage of defensive staples such as Toxapex, Zapdos lacking Hidden Power Ice, and bulky Landorus-T; (comma -> semicolon) and serve as a Volt Switch-blocker and Ground-immunity. Swords Dance allows Gliscor to take advantage of the abundance of free turns it gets against passive Pokemon and threaten the opposition by boosting Volt Switch blocker and source of Ground immunity. The given EV spread allows Gliscor to outspeed Modest Heatran with a Jolly nature and hit a Poison Heal number and therefore heal more HP from Poison Heal. 52 Defense EVs are run in order to take a Play Rough into Sucker Punch from Mega Mawile once Poison Heal is in effect. The remaining EVs are dumped into Special Defense in order to let Gliscor better take on threats such as Heatran and Clefable. 112 Speed EVs can be run instead in order to outspeed the likes of Timid Heatran, Adamant Rillaboom, and Jolly Bisharp, (AC) but it this noticeably compromises Gliscor's bulk.

Gliscor fits best on balance and bulky offensive teams that are in need of a wincon capable of taking advantage of Pokemon like Heatran, Zapdos, and Toxapex. As Gliscor has a tendency to force a plethora of forces many switches due to its resiliency paired with its boosting prowess, pairing it with entry hazard-stacking cores of Pokemon like Mega Tyranitar, Clefable, and Ferrothorn (as is, you kinda just say "hazard stack good: these are some pokemon that set hazards". giving some generally good hazard setters is nice, but it probably doesn't deserve the full line you give it. if there's stuff you want to change about this, including explaining why the unmentioned pokemon are also especially advisable instead of implementing my change, go ahead) is often a good idea to capitalize on this, allowing Gliscor to overwhelm offensive checks such as Kyurem, Weavile, and Ash-Greninja. As such, Stealth Rock setters such as Mega Tyranitar, Clefable, and Heatran, as well as the metagame's premier Spikes setters in Ferrothorn and Ash-Greninja, pair well. Clefable and Ferrothorn can also provide Knock Off support and to remove Heavy-Duty Boots from Slowbro, Zapdos, and Blissey, whereas Mega Tyranitar can Pursuit trap a roadblocks to Gliscor in Mega Latias, as well as Weavile and Ash-Greninja locked into Dark-type moves. Even though Gliscor can act as a Ground-immunity, is immune to Ground, it can be overwhelmed by the likes of Swords Dance Landorus-T, Garchomp, and Excadrill. Pokemon that can provide a better way to better limit these threats, such as Corviknight, Ice Beam Slowbro and Mega Latias, and Tangrowth, (AC) are useful teammates to have. Speed control Revenge killers in the form of Weavile, Ash-Greninja, Mega Lopunny, and Tapu Koko is are important to limit the likes of Kyurem and Kartana. A few Steel-types in Curse Mega Scizor, Corviknight, and Skarmory are annoying obstacles for Gliscor, as they have the typing, bulk, and recovery to take Gliscor on indefinitely. Lastly, as Gliscor is a capable wallbreaker, it benefits late-game cleaners that can take advantage of this such as Mega Lopunny, Swords Dance Mega Mawile, and Mega Scizor are great teammates. All of them hugely appreciate Gliscor's ability to take advantage of Toxapex, and in case of the latter two, Heatran as well.
