[OVERVIEW]

Ghost
========

* Golurk may not be the Best of assets on a Ghost Monotype...However It proves to be WAY more useful at a second glance. Its access to Dynamic Punch and Stone Edge make it a horrid foe, and a remarkable ally. With precision timing you can sweep an entire team!

Moves
========

Earthquake is Golurks most Powerful STAB move, with the exception of Magnitude with a slight chance of 110-150 power. Dynamic Punch has a 100% Chance to confuse a pokemon with only 50% accuracy, but No Guard Boosts that. Stone Edge is Earthquake only but Rock Type, and Shadow Punch is a 60 damage move with no accuracy check.

Set Details
========

The Choice Scarf was meant for protection against powerful threats such as Gengar and most Ice types. No Guard also has its place here....While having the recoil of being hit with everything, it means you can KO them with anything as well, hence Stone Edge and Dynamic Punch being on the moves. Max Attack and Speed also help with this set.

Usage Tips
========

Using this pokemon goes in two ways from what I know of, you use it as a Wall Breaker, or a Sweeper. Sweeping with this pokemon is easy, even if you're facing an Ice team. As for Wall Breaking...You outspeed them and hit them with Dynamic Punch? They'll be confused and you're free to kill. Try sending this pokemon out first using Dynamic Punch, then switch into something more powerful

Team Options
========

Anything with Tailwind seems good, but on a Monotype team for Ghost those are limited to a select few. My recommendations for coverage are far and few between in the Monotype standards, case in point? Blacephalon! It can help with threats such as the pesky Ice/Fairy type Ninetails

Other Options
=============

Ground
--------
A Mix Setup Wall with the Assault Vest might be a good idea, without no guard considering the weaknesses to Ghost, Dark, Water, Ice and Grass.

Checks and Counters
===================

Ground
--------
Ground-immune Pokemon: Pokemon such as Mesprit, Swanna, Oricorio-G, Haunter, and Weezing are immune to Golurk's Earthquake. Weezing can set up layers of Toxic Spikes or cripple it with Will-O-Wisp. Oricorio-G and Haunter can pivot in on most of Golurk's attacks and threaten it out, and Eelektross can take a Shadow Punch and 2HKO Golurk with Giga Drain, as mentioned in the PU SM entry.

Ground
--------
Lurantis: Lurantis, as mentioned in the PU SM entry as well. can freely switch in against Golurk's STAB attacks and pressure it with Leaf Storm or clear its entry hazards away with Defog. Shiftry is faster and can threaten Golurk out with its dual STAB moves, remove entry hazards, or set up Swords Dance. Abomasnow can also outspeed Adamant Golurk, force it out with its STAB moves, set up freely with Swords Dance, or pick off a weakened Jolly Golurk with Ice Shard, but none of the aforementioned Pokemon want to switch into an Ice Punch. This poses a large threat to Golurk for obvious reasons, as Lurantis can learn Grass Knot and a variety of other STAB attacks, along with some weakness attacks.
