everything here is incredible but i'm especially drawn to that shadow. i assumed it was a screenshot from the game in your pfp, it looks so ridiculously clean-- fantastic work! sa2 is truly one of the games ever made
also a very big fan in particular of those clefs you drew in paint she is very sweet

a while ago Lasen pointed out to me some art was missing from my february post last year. the missing art has been restored and can be viewed either on that post or in the original post of this thread (which has all the art in this thread in it)
last month i tried reopening the smogoff arte threade but i burnt out on it much quicker than i thought i would. i still managed to get some drawings done though, i'm especially proud of the shedninja painting (shoutout ape escape) i made.
my household has been on a bit of an smt (shin megami tensei) kick lately. personally, i played smt if, which i feel truly fits the description of "one of the games of all time". to be honest it's pretty bad and i think i developed some stockholm adjacent syndrome that made me like it
...it's also entirely possible that i just have bad taste
i'm sure i sound like a broken record but thanks again to everyone who comes by and leaves a nice comment on my work, "it means a lot" is cheesy for me to say but it does feel very nice to see and read that people enjoy my work.
this will be the final update to this thread. it is a bit bittersweet to make this decision as i have been posting my art here for almost 3 years now! over the years, i created a lot of artwork that i am extremely proud of for smogon as well as smogon communities. i enjoyed this a lot in the beginning but over time this enjoyment began to fade, and i feel like you can see that reflected in my recent updates being less frequent, having less work, and also having less smogon related work. combined with a recent dissatisfaction with smogon staff i feel that this is a good time for me to move on from smogon.
i touched on this in my last post but i truly want to thank everyone who was a fan of my artwork. i think i posted this a lot but it did genuinely make me happy to see people enjoying my work! if any of you are interested in keeping up with my future artwork, i have made a bluesky account that you can follow here. nothing there yet but i plan to post on it soon!
it was grape, uh, great having you here. once i smiled in this thread to see the wonderful art full of personality and love, and now i smile to see you're moving onto bigger and better things. wishing you the best out there!
