Grinding in ASB revisited

I strongly oppose the idea of getting rid of the counter system altogether, as part of what makes ASB fun to me is (1) the idea that these mons are MY mons, that nobody else has exactly my very same team, and that I spent some time and effort building it up; and (2) the idea that I don't always have the very best mons for every given situation, so I need to make the best out of what I already have sometimes.

I don't see such an issue with periodic revisions to the counter system. As the content grows up (more RPs, more released Pokemon, etc.), the need for counters inflates proportionally. But this does not mean that we should "jump the gun" and shoot the whole system down altogether. This inflating system is totally fine and functional. I mean, just because inflation is beneficial to any economic system out here, does it mean we should get rid of money altogether? We just revise, again and again, our "interest rates" to adapt to the evolving nature of ASB.

This has been up for a while, and we've gotten a bit nasty here, so let's wrap this up. Proposing a two-part slate.

First Vote:
How should grinding be addressed?

a) Increase referee pay only
b) Increase battling rewards only
c) Increase both referee pay and battling rewards
d) Abolish counter system
e) Do nothing

Should Doubles and Triples have increased referee payout?
a) Yes
b) No

Second Vote:
How much should referee pay be increased?

1) Set minimum of 4 UC per Pokemon per side
2) Set minimum of 5 UC per Pokemon per side
3) Set minimum of 6 UC per Pokemon per side
4) Back to the drawing board

How much should battling rewards be increased?
a) Increase MC rewards by 1
b) Double MC rewards
c) Back to the drawing board

How much UC more should Doubles and Triples battles award to the referee?
a) x1.25 for Doubles, x1.5 for Triples
b) Back to the drawing board

Pester me if I forgot anything.

48 hour warning for discussion.

Uhm, for easy viewing while voting on Council's part, is it too much to ask peeps like acidphoenix and JJayyFeather to compile their full package of thoughts into a single quote-tagged proposal? Hopefully this reduces the chance of the voting outcome to be a min-max amalgamation of everyone's thoughts piecemeal that ends up all over the place.
