I'd guess the game still stores that info, just not visible to the player. There's a lot of hidden values in these games, so I wouldn't put it past them.
What a coincidence because that would be the most common hack when I think of hacking a pokemon game but I alway wondered does that get pass the shark test despite the obivous fact that they know the friggin odds of getting 31 IVs across the boards is slim?I think the most common "legit" hack would be max IVs.All you gotta do is check for that. Generally speaking, if you see a poke with max IVs across the board, it's hacked.
I alway wondered about that but I think they can. Also, what about Pal Parked pokes? They're not from the original game and they don't sure level met, where met, etc? Can they check for those?

The game deletes the data (as level met, where met), and replaces them with "Pal Park". So you can only check by the level the pokemon arrived at.
You're assuming the game delete the data but how can you be sure about it, it's not like you're a programmer of something. The game deletes the data (as level met, where met), and replaces them with "Pal Park". So you can only check by the level the pokemon arrived at.

Because the game sets all pal parked pokemon's locations to (Pal Park), and the locations of the previous games aren't programmed in the game?
Speaking of cloning, you can clone stuff via WiFi trade (I accidentally cloned a Giratina when trading with SePh. His connection accidentally went off. SePh lost his Latias, and he and I have the exact Giratina). This seems to be the only possible way to clone the movie darkrai, unless the relieve the Ribbon ban on the GTS (you can't put up a pokemon with a classic ribbon for trade)
Haha, yeah, I remember that, kinda sucked since I already had infinite copies of the Zangoose :XI cloned a shiny Zangoose this same way, a connection error popped up.
Sucks though, because a Shiny Gligar was lost.
Personally, I don't see the big deal in hacking a legit pokemon. Max IVs are game-legit and are accessible to everyone. Hacking them because you're lazy or because it's easy does not make the Pokemon illegitimate.
