Approved HD versions of Pokémon models

I am aware that the reason that the models are so low quality is that Showdown wants to be as accesible as possible no matter how powerful the device is. But a simple toggle to make them look far better at the cost of performance on lower-end systems would be great. You can also add a warning saying something like "Warning: Toggling this on can severely impact performance. We strongly discourage toggling this on on lower-end systems. Would you still like to continue?" as a failsafe. I recommend making it so that it's also lower-end on default.

I am aware that it will take a long time to build in the new sprites, but it can be such a good QoL feature for those who can take it. Just like this post, it's the goal for battle sims to fulfill a childhood passion with being far more accesible and less time consuming then mainline team building.

Hm. I'm tentatively approving this, but we might not be able to afford the bandwidth costs. Still, considering most of the costs in the past have been music, this might be possible.

After a quick Google search, no, they can't be transparent

It misses a lot of DLC mons and IDK if it has all of them for the base game, but it at least gives you guys a head start if you decide to implement this.

.webm can be transparent, tho isn't fully supported by all browsers so it just being an alternative mode should be fine
