Formed in June 2011, OPLV is a parody group specializing in taking well known rap/hip hop songs and modifying the lyrics to fit their opinions of the current state of the gen 5 Pokémon metagame.

I like it in theory, and you guys are decent lyricists, but the lack of polish makes these songs pretty unbearable to listen to. Your voices are low quality and mumbling... it's like one of those things where if I heard the song and didn't know beforehand that it was a parody, I would be able to guess.

And you aren't very good rappers, tbh

So uh... I'd make a effort to fix those things. But the lyrics are legit, keep trying.

Yeah, unfortunately the quality is a difficult issue to address. All of us live in different parts of the world, and use different mics. It's hard to really get a universal sound in that situation :(

That is why this will forever remain a silly thing we do for fun!

you're all cool, outside of that sal fucker. he's easily the worst one of you

ye fuck that guy I'm so glad he's going to jail

LOL at them not being good rappers...really? Anyway I'm not buying the whole distant mic thingy the Low on the Ladder was perfect in everyway, you should master the other records like it. Also you made made good entries in the previous EPRB's, why not upload some of those as well?

I like it in theory, you guys so good and man I'm just gonna try and put you down cause you too poor to get $1000 mics and audio engineers and wow I wish I was as good as you guys.

And man I guess I'm too white for this

So uh... I guess I have no point in posting.

What I read.

Anyways I've always been a fan guys Smack Down is probably my favourite of these. So when is the CD being released?

it'll be done when it's done

sometime after the holidays we're gonna rerecord smack down, low on the ladder and suspect round four so they're better and then we have a non-pokemon related song in the works SO

your individual styles aren't great but I understand you're trying and the lyrics are really clever, especially "smack down", that one's fantastic. the line about excadrill and blaziken is a+ irony. keep rapping

glad to see such good handling of other people's opinions, very mature of you, good job, hi-fives all around

edit so there's substance in this post

what I meant by "not very good rappers" is that none of these guys have a very good sense of flow or delivery, my apologies for not making that clear

not understanding why i'm getting hate for praising their lyrical abilities and suggesting things that can be improved??
