Highest Damage Output - Croagunk VS Deoxys

This is something I did with a friend, a year ago... pretty cool, in my opinion. We wanted to see how much damage it was possible to theoretically deal to a Pokemon, so we used Shoddy Battle, since it shows percentage. There might be a better way out there, but that is the best one we could have thought of, at the time.

Qc Storm: Ready For Rape?
Alphacme: Fuck Yeah!
--- Turn 12
Alphacme switched in Croagunk (lvl 1 Croagunk ?).
Croagunk's Anticipation made it shudder!
Deoxys-f used Psycho Boost.
It's super effective!
A critical hit!
Croagunk lost 11380091% of its health.
Alphacme's Croagunk fainted.
Deoxys-f's Special Attack was harshly lowered.
--- Conclusion
Total Theoretically HP Lost: 1 365 610.92

Just for the sake of precision, I'll explain the moves we did.

Recover: A filler move really; we didn't wanted to hurt/kill Deoxys.
Skill Swap: Psycho Boost is Psychic-type, Deoxys is Psychic-type, it's just a boost.
Calm Mind: To raise Deoxys' Special Attack to the maximum.
Double Team: A safe way to make sure we could dodge one Psycho Boost to use Trick.
Trick: To boost Deoxys' Special Attack even more... not sure if it stacked with Calm Mind...
Psycho Boost: Strongest attack we could think of for this scenario.

And yes, the critical hit was pure luck and we got it on our first try... no joke.

Done by Alphacme/Qc Storm.

*No Pokemons were harm during this experiment... except one Croagunk.*

there are much easier ways to get this much damage such as a flash fire boosted +6 choice specs heatran eruption in the sun on a paras (which is 8x weak)

nice attempt but there are tons of way to do more damage

This is a cool idea, but it seems like you didn't even try. You gave Deo-A Adaptability instead of something like Solar Power that would increase damage more. You also didn't even bother lowering Croagunk's Special Defense. I'm even questioning your use of Psycho Boost altogether - sure, it's 140 base power, but how does it even compare to something like Explosion.

Nice, but how about this?

Shuckle vs Medicham

Shuckle maxes attack, uses Power Trick, uses Defence Curl, then uses Rollout. The 5th shot should hit a Delibird.

I was thinking, what if you did this against a Shedinja with a -Sp.Def nature? Since it has 1HP, whatever damage the attack does against it would deal x%, where x is the damage dealt (probably a lot, but interesting to see).

Kyogre vs Geodude and Groudon vs Magnemite do more I believe, especially since you can skill swap Pure Power onto Groudon. You can also lower the opponents special defense/ defense to -6 as well.

Is min ef shedinja cheating? Because if not well, there are some really rediculous ways to get high percents on it.

Or even a +6 Pure Power Adamant max EV and IV Rampardos with Head Smash against -Def Delibird 0 EV and IV with -6 Def.

+6 Shuckle thats been skill swapped Huge Power, holding choice band, thats used defense curl hitting on the 5th rollout attack against a -6 pokemon 4x weak to rock would hurt alot...

Like I said at the beginning of my post, there might have been other ways of doing this; it might not be the best one, but it was funny and that was the goal.

Nice one, really. I wish I had thought of that, but I didn't knew a lot about Heatran at the time, so...

Sorry for forgetting about Solar Power, but I don't know if it would have made a difference either. The reason why Croagunk's Special Defence wasn't lowered is simple; look at all the switches we made to raise Deoxys' power... there's a good chance it wouldn't have worked (but maybe it might have). And maybe Explosion would have been better indeed, but we used Psychic-type for STAB, Croagunk being Fighting-type and Poison-type, etc.

Maybe? I don't know, but sounds like a high damage output too.

shedinja vs say specs heatran in the sun with flash fire activated and +6 spA passed to it is pretty good!
I think the Shuckle with Pure Power, Power Swap, Defense Curl, Rollout on the 5th shot + Defense Curl boost + STAB, +Def, max Def EV and IV, Choice Band (you'll have to Trick one as it needs to use Defense Curl AND Rollout), +6 Atk against a -Def 0 EV and IV -6 Def Shedinja is the way to go.

Rhyperior at +6 attack with the item Metrenome. Make it use rollout to its max (with metronome boost) on a -6 def shedinja. How bout that?

Well Rhyperior can't learn Defense Curl, Shuckle has more attack after Power Trick, and Shuckle can do all of those.

Sounds good. There's only two things I'd change.

I'd use something that is Bug-type AND Flying-type for mega-damage.
Maybe use Metronome over Choice Band... I don't know.

From bulbapedia

Although the circumstances would be nearly impossible, a level 100 Shuckle can potentially deal the most damage in one single attack through the use of numerous stat boosters, by using Helping Hand, Metronome held item, Power Trick, a Skill Swap to Pure Power or Huge Power, and the Defense Curl/Rollout combo. Also, Shuckle's partner must have the ability Flower Gift and the weather must be sunny. On the 5th impact of Rollout, if used against a level 1 Ledyba or Yanma that have been hit with negative Defense modifiers (such as Screech), it can deal 213,896,052 damage with a critical hit.

There you go...

It's in doubles though

Try out the Lv. 100 Heatran vs. Lv. 1 Scizor or Lv.1 Forretress.

Heatran with...
~ +SpA Nature (Modest, Rash, etc...)
~ Choice Spec
~ +6 SpA
~ Sunny Day
~ Flash Fire
~ Critical Hit

using Eruption (150 Fire Special) on...

Scizor or Forretress with...
~ -SpD Nature (Naive, Naughty, etc...)
~ -6 SpD
~ 0 HP and 0 SpD IVs

and the result is...

6,835,996 - 8,042,352 or 56,966,633.3% - 67,019,600%

If it were 2 vs 2 with...
~ Helping Hand

then the result is...

7,690,480 - 9,047,628 or 64,087,333.3% - 75,396,900%

Edit: I guess there are other Pokemon who does more damage, but I still need to do more calculations though.

shedinja only has 1 hp

I'm getting a blaze +6 blast burn from infernape in the sun vs -6 dry skin parasect doing 11,763,464-13,839,384 damage. It's cutting off the percent.

Shedinja's 1 HP will always make the percentages quite a bit larger unless the opposition has under 4 HP and is paras taking a fire move.
Shedinja takes *2 on all damage it takes. Paras is 8 times weak. Thus the Paras would need to have 4 HP to equal the percent. Total damage is greater on high weakness while percent is almost always more on Shedinja.
