lynch spiffy Who wouldn't?
Good luck to all!

I know inspect just wants to be left alone, but who he picks will become leader, so it's important. I support inspect on jigs, because I feel jigs is a great mafia player, and can lead the village to victory.

How exactly do we know that whoever the inspector inspects is clean without the inspector himself coming out and saying so? How do we even know who he inspects?

I agree with this statement. It is obvious that whoever the inspector is, he can't just come out, especially early on. Neither can we trust that if the person was cleaned, it wasn't a random mafioso that said he was "cleaned".

Yeah mafia could have an inspect and claim inspect before the villager can. No one can be trusted by claims. At all. Evidence is the only way to get things done.

I realize the problem in this too. The most logical strategy would be to PM the person the inspector cleaned and let them know that they are the inspector, and inform the cleaned person to go lead the village. Unfortunately, this is easily faked, and we probably have more than one inspector, causing 2 people to step up to lead on behalf of being cleaned.

What makes the most sense right now would be for the inspector himself to lead, and we can start d1 will a scum lynch, or a leader and back up leader.

I have an idea to counteract a mafia inspector but I don't want to say it in front of the town since the only people who should hear it is anyone who wants to be cleaned and will turn up innocent.

Or better yet, we think, and try to find mafia based on posts, instead of blindly following one person!
But that's such a radical idea, mirite?
Eh, you can go ahead with scumhunting. I personally view it as nothing more than glorified guesswork with positive results being too rare but I've written full rants about it and I'm not about to start another one now.

That's why I said it's glorified guesswork if you suck at it.
But it's not even that.

More often than not, I've seen terrible arguments that pretty much stem from being hypocritical statements with regard to scumhunting. I'm so used to reading an argument that can also apply to the accuser that I've given up relying on public scumhunting altogether.

....really? Are you serious?

My point has redundancy in it. Not hypocrisy.

I don't suck at scumhunting, I just don't even use it at this point. Unless I'm playing on EM but... eh, those games are over in 2 phases most of the time.

Is it just me, or did the use of the word 'scum' increase tenfold since Finnragetti used it in NOC?

*Shakes fist angrily*

Also please note for the sake of argument that myself and Jiggly are brothers.

Our surname is Miliband.

My name is Edward.

;)

E: Dayum Agape, you got me!

Nobody really lynches based on behaviour. Unless no data and even then no lynch is a better option, besides, somebody without data shouldn't lead. (End of argument?)

Scum is widely used in mafia communities outside smogon (like Mafiascum), it's interesting too see it become more used as people are coming here from there. Though I doubt it'll be used outside the scum standard games since the über level of mafia has nowadays more or less equally "evil" factions.

Yeah normal n0 thread post.

Edit before edit: Alch is always wolf when he tries to lead, so we should lynch him based on behaviour!
