Having said that, I'm still banking on him actually being God-Tier, and was hiding his real wings. Why did he have fake wings? Because it was funny. It is Gamzee, of course.
 
Personally I'm pretty sure that the God Tier ruse was a distaction.

Especially since it was specifically referred to as a ruse during the last intermission.

I'm not certain, but I think Hussie said somewhere that it is a possibility that Gamzee wanted to make a Bard costume because it would be funny. Putting fake wings on a real god-tier, with the real wings underneath? That's pretty funny, or at least I'm sure it would be in Gamzee's eyes.

But we've already seen him recieve the codpiece from Kurloz, and it's strongly implied that the rest of his attire was gathered this way.

The word Ruse is especially telling, imo.
 
I find it weird that we would be gunned down to easily without seemingly to have done anything to have aided Caliborn. It's been explicitly stated and implied that he's the most pivotal character.
 
The "wicked ruse" could in fact be that the Bard costume is fake, just as a joke. The real Bard costume may be elsewhere.
Also, I am further convinced that Gamzee isn't going to die, as we have yet to see a "DEAD" confirmation yet.
 
Well this update was strange to say the least. I missed it at first but my friend pointed out the light on the tower actually has the MSPA symbol...the plot thickens.

I'm laughing that many people thought Gamzee kicked the bucket, only for this update to reveal that "you can't bring down the clown."

Caliborn made the classic mistake of turning his back on the body.
