How do You Stop Deoxys?

cradilly under sand storm walls both sets. super power on a standard deoxys is about 45%to cradilly and cradilly can recover off any damage it recieves and toxic stall dual screen one.

The DS D-E can simply Taunt Cradily. It can be alright against the sweeper set, assuming there isn't any residual damage on Cradily. Otherwise, it has a good chance of beating you regardless.

There is a weavile set can counter the double screen set. Fake out the first turn, then night slash, you must have focus sash of course. This weavile is one of the best lead imo. With the sweeper set, we have plenty of pokemons can counter that such as steel pokes or sucker punch and Shadow sneak. The best revenge killer is dugtrio but if your opponent forego an attack and put in recover you will be in pain. Gallde can shadow sneak deoxys-e, however with max atk jolly nature it does only about 70% so you have to weaken it first by switching around (LO recoil damage) or take a free SD. A timely switch in of CB metagross which often carry putsuit can gurantee a KO on deoxys, but if your opponent send out Magnezone after that then you know what happen ... That's all my experience in countering deoxys-e :)

Fake Out vs 252 HP / 0 Def Deoxys-S: 14.8% - 17.76%
Night Slash after Reflect has gone up: 52.3% - 61.84%

Deoxys still gets both Light Screen and Reflect up against you.

Thats why you should use Brick Break, to break the screens. You can then ice shard for the KO.

If Deoxys-S tries to Recover stall you, you'll generally win due to Night Slash's 12.5% chance to critical hit.

Choice Band Shadow Sneak from Banette OHKO's Deoxys and is also nice against Gengars, weakened opponents etc. I tried it myself when I used my UU team on Standard. No one will expect it, no one respects it, and they pay for it. ''Oh but what can a Banette do? lol, the guy must be a newbie or something'' *Banette OHKO's Deoxys* ''.... wtf''. And as I said, it isn't just useful for Deoxys. Banette will have 541 Attack with Adamant and CB, this is easily enough to pick off weakened opponents with STAB. Did a Yache Chomp survive on ~40% from an Ice attack and proceeded to OHKO? Use Sucker Punch and destroy it. The move set should be like this: Shadow Sneak/Sucker Punch/Trick/Will-o-Wisp OR Thunder Wave. I laughed in the face of Deoxys leads with this.

Not all Deoxys-E leads are dual screen. My rain starter gets dozens of KOs because it carries Superpower as its only attack. Why? Weavile and Tyranitar.

Bronzong and Scizor are also good alternatives. Bronzong packs STAB Gyro Ball and its boosted thanks to Deoxys-S's high Speed. Scizor packs STAB X-Scissor (or U-Turn) and also boasts Technician Quick Attack thus making things twice as easy. Also pack Roost on Scizor as this makes everything easier to counter about.

Otherwise consider Steel / Psychic types in general as they work best (alternative to Spiritomb and Scizor work as well). Also anything with a decent priority move works as well (Lucario Extremespeed, Dusknoir Shadow Sneak are also good). When I wrote the peer edit I put those extra counters in for a reason (except I forgot Scizor in that list oddly enough).

for sweeper, dugtrio traps and can use sucker punch. OHKO with band. in the 90's with orb. really a OHKO with stream or rocks.

I have stockpile gastrodon with max special defense. It unfortunately fails against taunt versions. I occasionally use Spiritomb.

Oddly enough, when I am out of deoxsys E killers, I have used Yache Chomp to finish it off.
