I just finshed my NU Team plz RMT

hey everyone, this is my first NU Team so I need ur opinion about it..

My lead:

162.png

Shiny Furret:

nature:: jolly
ability:: Keen eye
Item:: choice Scarf
EV's : 172 HP / 252 Atk / 84 Spe
Moveset::
-Body Slam
-Sucker Punch
-Trick
-Foucus Punch

Fast lead and help the team a lot. First I trick the Choice Scarf and most of the ppl change caz most of them use stealth rock or something like that. after that the foe change and i got a good focus punch in one of the foe pokemon than come the body slam for the paralyzed HAX .. Sucker punch help me too kill fast pokemon..

My DEF Wall:

28.png

Sandslash:

nature:: Imish
ability:: Sand veil
Item:: leftovers
EV's : 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Atk
Moveset::
-Earthquake
-Stone edge
-Stealth rock
-Rapid spin

With max HP and Defense, you're guaranteed some survival here, so this can take some hits in UU. Rapid Spin away their Spikes and Stealth Rock, then set up your own. Stone Edge does more to Drifblim and Froslass and is generally the superior option for a secondary attack.

My Sp. DEF Wall:

gardevoir.gif

Gardevoir:

nature:: Modest
ability:: Trace
Item:: leftovers
EV's : 252 HP / 48 SpA / 176 SpD / 32 Spe
Moveset::
-Psychic
-Thunderbolt
-Will o wisp
-Wish

Gardevoir stands out as a support Pokémon with a large movepool and the ability to attack if the need arises. You mainly want to switch this into a relatively passive Pokémon, or un-STABed special attacks, as even though it has 115 base Special Defense, its 68 base HP means it can't take very many powerful hits. Support the team with Will-O-Wisp, burning any physical attackers who attempt to switch in.

My Attacker:

pinsir.png

Pinsir:

nature:: Adamant
ability:: Mold Breaker
Item:: Choice Scarf
EV's : 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Moveset::
-Close combat
-Stone edge
-X scissor
-Earthquake

X-Scissor is the strongest attack, while Earthquake and Stone Edge give mea great coverage. Close Combat hits Steel-types slightly harder than Earthquake due to the higher Base Power.

My Sp.Attacker:

467.png

Magmortar:

nature:: Timid
ability:: Flame body
Item:: Choice specs
EV's : 252 SP.Atk / 4 SP.Def / 252 Spe
Moveset::
-Fire blast
-Thunderbolt
-Psychic
-Focas blast

Magmortar has good stats and a good movepool-certainly a respectable combination. Unfortunately, it is cursed with being a Fire-type, and without a useful secondary type to lessen the damage of Stealth Rock, Magmortar must be played with extreme care. Further, the Speed is a bit lacking. However, if you can work around his flaws, Magmortar is a very powerful Pokemon with the potential to hand out a lot of damage.

My sweeper:

Relicanth.png

Relicanth:

nature:: Adamant
ability:: Rock head
Item:: Life orb
EV's : 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Moveset::
-Rock Polish
-Head smash
-Waterfall
-Eeathquake

Rock Polish boosts Relicanth's poor Speed high enough to attempt a sweep. Waterfall is suggested may get some luck with the flinch rate. Life Orb gives Relicanth's attacks a little more bite

So tell me ur opinion with my NU Team

Even though i have very little experience in NU u need to counter big threats in NU like Manetric. Gardevoir can only handle Manetric to an extent. Specs will 2hko garde and Magmotar.overheat+hp grass handles the rest of it. I dont no whats a good Manetric counter but Nintails is 3hko'd by manetric

Hi there! I think that there are a few flaws in the team, and I'm going to address the biggest ones here.

First off, you do not have a resistance to Water moves, this leaves you very weak to pokemon that use these attacks. In addition, you will struggle against weather teams, especially sun, whose sweepers pinsir might not outspeed. A way to patch up both of these weaknesses quickly is by using Golduck. With Cloud Nine, Golduck can take out most any weather sweeper. In addition, a core of special attackers like Magmortar and Golduck can really open up a team. Here is the set to use over Relicanth:

Golduck @ Life Orb
Timid / Cloud Nine
4 HP / 252 Sp. Attack / 252 Speed
Surf
Ice Beam
Psychic
HP Grass

On Magmortar, I would change Psychic to HP Grass and use a Life Orb. Psychic doesnt hit anything besides Muk that is easily handled by Gardevoir and Sandslash. Psychic on Golduck, however, is important to revenge kill Qwilfish. Your team struggles against Quagsire and Gastrodon a lot, but having two surprise HP Grass users could go a long way toward stopping them. What makes Magmortar so dangerous is its versatility, and using Choice Specs really limits that. With Life Orb, you still get your attacks boosted, but keep the versatility.

Finally, I think a Persian over Furret is a good choice. This gives you consistent powerful priority to revenge kill stuff Pinsir cant handle. Persian can also be an emergency check to offensive Ghosts like Haunter with Bite. The moveset should be Fake Out / U Turn / Return / Bite with an EV spread of 4 HP / 252 Attack / 252 Speed with a Jolly nature and a Life Orb. Of course, Technician would be your ability.

Good luck with your team!

I agree with Friar's points, although I would like to suggest using a Purugly rather than a Persian as a lead, because you can Fake Out, then depending on who it is, put it to sleep with Hypnosis, hit it with a strong STAB Return, and either use U-Turn to get out of there or run Shadow Claw to take out any Ghosts that you may run into. Losing Technician as an ability may suck, but Purugly has mostly better overall stats, except for Special attack (which won't be used), Speed (by 3 stat points) and Special Defense (by 6 stat points). Running Thick Fat can also provide it a safe-ish swap in any Fire/Ice moves and allow it to sneak some Fake-Out/Return or U-Turn combos to allow Relicanth in and start setting up.

The Hypno Purugly, if interested:
Item: Leftovers / Life Orb <I enjoy using Lefties over Life Orb, but it's the durability vs power debate here.>
Jolly and either Thick Fat / Own Tempo.
4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
~ Fake Out
~ Hypnosis
~ Return
~ U-turn / Shadow Claw

Fun Fact Persian can do that exact same moveset infinitely better. Thanks to higher speed, stronger Dark move, stronger Fake Out and more general versatility, since Persian can do a couple things as a lead. The bulk is point less, and Technician makes up for most of the power lost in Atk. Choice Specs Magmortar is simply a bad choice Specs Charizard. Mixed Life Orb with Fire Blast/Thunderbolt/HPGrass/Earthquake Mild/Rash does far better, 2HKOing everything in the tier bar Grumpig, SSCradily, and Munchlax. The other sets themselves are fine, and Golduck can be a fine addition to your team. I find either Encore, Substitue or Calm Mind usually better than Psychic. It is a viable option because Golduck is your only real answer to rain. Don't think that just because you have Golduck, you can win. He can OHKO Gorebyss and is still outsped by Floatzel and has difficulty switching in a lot. Putting him over anything but Relicanth kind of opens your team up to SpecsEggy and LOManetric. The biggest problem with this team I see is a lack of real focus. Know it looks like six pokemon each desined to fill different roles, a team building tactic that has been obsolete for a while.

Since this sounds pretty basic team, i'm going to suggest simple obvious changes. A persian lead can pretty much do the same as Furrett but much better. Obviously this has been said, but it needs to be backed up - Furett is simply poor in the nu metagame.

You're pretty balzy with using Specs magmortar, but i think LO is the inferior choice. Magmortar has high speed and great coverage so yea no need to get locked in. Hp Grass over Psychic seems like a good choice for pummelling Quagsire solely. Focus Blast is extremely reliable and Hp grass can smack specially defensive Walrein's more reliably if needed!

As for other options, a swap in Gardevoir and Pinsir roles seems like a solid idea. Timid + 252 spe and 252 spA on Gardevoir allows you to outpace most swift swimmers thanks to trace! Thunderbolt / Psychic / trick / Signal beam seems like a solid offensive movepool. It's true that rain is impossible to stop, but once Gardevoir comes in it can seriously help you tame the sweepers down. Pinsir can now run an SD set, which can help lure in physically defensive quagsire. With Quagsire hurt or removed, Rock Polish Relicanth can sweep sufficiently easier now! hope this helps your overall synergy a bit. overall gl.
