I need help and no one is helping me

Please, help me be able to get into a server.

1. Able to open Shoddy (check)
2. Servers appear (check)
3. Able to get into a server (not checked)

Whenever I try to, I get an error message saying: "Connection refused: connect"

What does that mean?

i know this will be a bit vauge, but there is a cirtian error you can correct by following the steps here http://java.com/en/download/help/plugin_cache.xml then redownloading shoddy battle.

first it said : Error: Connection refused: connect
but i tried something on my fire wall to help it
then it said: Error: Timed out connect

Your firewall or router is probably blocking certain outbound connections. We can't really offer you specific advice, since it depends on the configuration of your network. If your network administrator is a parent, he or she may not be able to help you either, but basically, you need to ask your network administrator to investigate.

Probably Shoddy Battle, since you can't download the server

I would also recommend updating Java to its latest version for those who have this problem

that might work, but mines already the latest version (i just up graded it)
and how come my thread about the same problem isn't getting as much answers and help?
