Lead
BOLD=changes
----------------------------------------
dpmfa469.png

Yanmega (M) @ Wise Glasses
Ability: Speed Boost
EVs: 104 Def/ 252 SpA/ 152 Spe
Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Protect
- Bug Buzz
- Air Slash
- Hypnosis

Really a great lead If you use it correctly you can sweep up to whole teams:naughty:, not likely though. EV-ed like many other yanmega leads. standard moves, stops bronzong sometimes. Stops infernape, other yanmegas that come in, azelf, claydol, really most fighting types eventually. Probably one poke i want to keep.

Spr_4p_479W.png

Rotom-W @ Leftovers
Bold Nature
252 HP / 168 Def / 88 Spe
- Discharge
- Will-O-Wisp
- Hydro Pump
- Shadow Ball
---
dpffa392.png

Infernape (F) @ Life Orb
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 24 Atk/234 Spd/252 SAtk
Naive nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Grass Knot
- Nasty Plot
- Flamethrower
- Close Combat

My wall breaker and bulky water chaser...rhyme...rhyme...Never mind :toast:. Life orbing sweeper that stops scizor, Forretress, swampert, -??blissey??-, T-Tar barely, what else...Bronzong you know the usual pokes. Maybe stone edge. Often, I have a hard time setting up nasty plot.
---
dpmfb260.png

Swampert (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 240 HP/216 Def/54 SAtk
Relaxed nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Earthquake
- Ice Beam
- Surf
- Roar
Really what I put in if I don't have the appropriate counter, not that one team can stop everything. Roar to deal with everything stat-y, and the remaining moves are standard.

---
dpffa242.png

Blissey (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 Def/82 SAtk/176 SDef
Calm nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Wish
- Toxic
- Protect
- Flamethrower
Stops so many things my team needs stopped this poke is just what I need. I like the toxic/wish/protect combo to pass to my other weaker bulkys. Obviously this is totally walled by Heatran, but that is what I have Swampert for. EV-ed to have some SDef so not to be taken lightly.
---
dpmfa068.png

Machamp@ Leftovers
Ability: No Guard
Ev's: 252 HP/ 252 Atk/ 4 Spe
Nature: Adamant
-DynamicPunch
-Stone Edge
-Rest
-Sleep Talk

Another bulky pokemon that absorbs status and takes care of blissey really well, which otherwise would stop my infernape(sort of), my rotom and my yanmega.

Rotom-w @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP/252 SAtk/6 SDef
Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Thunder Wave
- Thunderbolt
- Will-o-wisp
- Shadow Ball

This was my attempt at stopping Gyarados, but it doesn't work to well. I might be using it incorrectly, but that's why I'm here.EV-ed bulky to take hits from Gyarados, but otherwise it just doesn't have the utility i wanted it to have. Moves to cover stuff T-wave, Will-o-Wisp for support. Thunderbolt for Gyarados and others, shadow ball for other ghosts.

dpmfa134.png

Vaporeon@ Leftovers
Nature: Bold
Ev's: 188 HP / 252 Def / 68 SpA
Ability: Water Absorb
-Wish
-Protect
-Surf
-Hidden Power Electric

dpmfb260.png

Swampert (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 240 HP/216 Def/54 SAtk
Relaxed nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Earthquake
- Ice Beam
- Surf
- Roar
Really what I put in if I don't have the appropriate counter, not that one team can stop everything. Roar to deal with everything stat-y, and the remaining moves are standard.

dpmfb437.png

Bronzong @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP/86 Atk/80 Def/92 SDef
Sassy nature (+SDef, -Spd)
- Gyro Ball
- Stealth Rock
- Hypnosis
- Earthquake

My dragon wall, Stealth Rock-er, and a secondary Hypnosis-er. this is where i run into problems with Gyarados...

I feel my team is a bunch of non-combo non-coolness Pokes that share no synergy at all, and I am really in need of help, i think...so indecisive...

Thanks..

On swampert, I don't think 2 Evs even increases the stat points, put those 2 evs in Special Attack. I'd suggest adding a physical attacker to your team, probably over swampert. Maybe a machamp, so you still retain a Tyranitar counter while adding some physical firepower to your arsenal. I'd suggest changing hypnosis on yanmega to HP ground, so you arent walled by heatran and magnezone. You have hypnosis on bronzong already so it's not too big of a deal. Naive nature on infernape so you don't lower the power of close combat.

Yanmega is actually quite bulky on the physcial side, and with a small bit of investment it can take many physical hits. Change the EV spread to 104 Def, 252 SpA, 152 Spe. With this spread, after 1 speed boost you will be faster than base 130s (Aerodactyl, Jolteon), and after 2 you will be outspeeding Timid Scarf Gengar. The defense EVs allow Yanmega to survive a +2 LO Extremespeed from Lucario and make Scizor's Bullet Punches a 3HKO on average. The defensive investment is even more helpful seeing as you have a Rapid Spinner to keep the rocks off the field for Yanmega. Go for HP Ground over Hypnosis in the 4th slot as it will give the best coverage overall and Hypnosis is also unreliable. HP Ground allows you to hit Pokemon such as Heatran and Magnezone who wall the current set you are using. I would suggest replacing Wise Glasses with Focus Sash to ensure that Yanmega gets that protect off safely and survive more hits.

On Bronzong, I suggest replacing Hypnosis with Trick. Like I said before, Hypnosis is very unreliable. With Trick, Bronzong is able to disable oppsosing walls such as Skarmory who think they can juts come and and freely set up only to get a suprise in Trick. If you are interested in using Trick, the best item choice would be Macho Brace. You can Trick Macho Brace onto sweepers such as Infernape who tend to switch in on Bronzong often and Infernape will not like getting its speed reduced signifacntly from the effects of Macho Brace.

On Infernape, I would not suggest using a Timid nature because you are using Close Combat which is a physical attack and Timid lowers your attack stat. I would change Infernape's nature to Naive so Close Combat will not lose any power.

As suggested by Panamaxis, I would suggest replacing Swampert with a Physical Attacker. Your team is mostly Specially based and that can cause some problems with Blissey. Without Swampert, you lose a great Tyranitar counter. However, like panamaxis said, a Machamp can go over Swampert. Machamp is a great bulky Pokemon capable of dealing alot of damage. With Dynamic punch and its confusion, not to many Pokemon will enjoy switching into Machamp. I would suggest using the RestTalker.

Machamp@ Leftovers
Ability: No Guard
Ev's: 252 HP/ 252 Atk/ 4 Spe
Nature: Adamant
-DynamicPunch
-Stone Edge
-Rest
-Sleep Talk

This set allows Machamp to effectively absorb status for your team. The 252 EVs in HP ensure that Machamp has maximum durability and the 4 Speed EVs allow Machamp to outspeed a minimum Speed Blissey.

If you decide to take Swampert out for Machamp, your team will have significant problems with Infernape and Heatran with Substitute. Infernape beats bronzong with Fire Blast, Blissey with Close Combat, OHKO's Rotom with Fire Blast, might outspeed your Infernape and Yanmega cannot switch in. Once Heatran sets a Substitute up, you will lose one Pokemon. Your Blissey is completly walled by heatran and Heatran can just wear it down with Toxic. Infernape is killed by Earth Power, Bronzong is destroyed by Fire Blast and Machamp cannot take too many Fire Blast's. Now you ask, what can help with these weaknesses. Vaporeon is the way to go. Seeing as you say rotom does not do a great job at countering Gyarados, I would suggest using Vaporeon over Rotom. Vaporeon is an excellent Gyarados counter as well. Vaporeon is an excellent counter to Infernape and Heatran and can also provide healing support with Wish for your team. I would strongly suggest using a Vaporeon with the following set:

Vaporeon@ Leftovers
Nature: Bold
Ev's: 188 HP / 252 Def / 68 SpA
Ability: Water Absorb
-Wish
-Protect
-Surf
-Hidden Power Electric

Vaporeon is a very effective Wish passer. His high HP and Special Defense help him take hits very well making her a great counter to many of the metagame's threats. Surf is for STAB and Hidden power is for Gyarados. Gyarados can only 3HKO Vaporeon after a boost from Dragon Dance making him a great counter. Protect can be used for scouting your opponents moves as well as ensuring that Wish heals Vaporeon. Wish is for healing your other team members.

Good luck with the team :toast:

At first you said Roto is unable of handling Gyarados. Well, I would like to suggest this set to you:

Rotom-W @ Leftovers
Bold Nature
252 HP / 168 Def / 88 Spe
- Discharge
- Will-O-Wisp
- Hydro Pump
- Shadow Ball

This Rotom is easily capable of handling offensive threats like Tyranitar, along with Gyarados. A + 1 Gyarados should fail to 2HKO and you should be able to OHKO back with Dischage, or cripple him with Will-o-Wisp. This set helps you stand up to terrifying threats, like Tyranitar, who can deal some serious damage to your team via quick switch in and switch out attacks.

The second suggestion (since it seems that Gyarados and Salamence have a fun time with this team) is to use Revenge Killer Jirachi.

Jirachi @ Choice Scarf
Jolly Nature
80 HP / 252 Atk / 176 Spe
- Ice Punch
- Thunder Punch
- Iron Head
- Zen Headbut

Jirachi can be your brand new Revenge Killer in place of your old Bronzong. She outspeeds a + 1 Salamence and Gyarados and OHKO's with Ice Punch or Thunder Punch respectivly. Iron Head is to help counter (once again) Tyranitar and other Rock/Ice types, also inflicting flinch 60 % of the time. Zen Headbut is similar to Iron Head, except it is less accurate, but it gives you an easier time with Fighting types.

Since everyone seems to be suggesting Machamp / Vaporeon to you, I decided to do something similar, except only slightly. I want you to meet my good friend Lucario.

Lucario @ Life Orb
Adamant Nature
252 Atk / 252 Spe / 6 HP
- Swords Dance
- Close Combat
- Crunch
- Extreme Speed

I say that you don't need bulk on your team, if you have a good underlying strat. Which is what you will have. An end game Lucario sweep. This isn't that difficult to pull off, considering Lucario is an amazing sweeper to use whenever. The real problems with Lucario start and end with Swampert, Gengar, Heatran and defensive Zapdos. These won't be a problem with playing the game correctly. Swampert and Zapdos are both handled by Infernape, with a Nasty Plot Infernape should be able to put Zapdos in KO range of Lucario's +2 Extreme Speed, and Grass Knot should OHKO Swampert no matter what. Gengar is an easy fix, using Jirachi to Iron Head him till his death. The only thing stopping you from Lucario is Heatran, who honestly, is completely walled by Blissey. His only option is to explode on Blissey, in which you can go to Roto to take it. Roto is also an answer to Heatran, being able to (almost) OHKO it with Hydro Pump, or Paralysing it with Discharge, making Lucario outspeed him and OHKO with Close Combat. Crunch is used to hit Ghost types like other Roto's and Dusknoir who can wall Lucario to some degree (though your team should focus on weakening them some what) Extreme Speed is to pick off very fragile pokemon, like Infernape or to kill off a weakened Zapdos. Close Combat is the STAB move of choice as it'll 2-OHKO the entire metagame once you have Swords Danced.

Sorry for the long winded explination on how to pull of a Lucario end game sweep.

Hope I helped,
Empoleon

P.s. Using the spread the above guys suggested on Yanmega, with Hidden Power [GROUND], is an excellent idea, weakening Heatran quite a bit, helping your sweep.

If you do plan on keeping zong after reading the above 2 posts, I would actually recommend explosion over hypnosis rather than trick. Once its layed down rocks, it can explode on anything that may cause you trouble.

I will second the idea of making your yanmega more physically bulky, as well as changing his moveset and forgoing either hypnosis or protect for hidden power ground. your current moveset is utterly walled by magnezone and heatran, both of which are very common in today's metagame. HP ground will allow you to score surprise ohkos on both of them as well as 2hkoing many steels you could not otherwise touch. With the new physical bulkyness, you will not be needing protect as much, as usually when people expect you to protect first turn and set up on you. During this, you could hypnosis them or score a surprise KO.

Also you said you have trouble getting a nasty plot with ape, I would suggest taking out plot for hidden power ice. This is a great surprise kill on salamences that think your running nasty plot. I think it overall outclasses nasty plot now-a-days because nasty plot was mainly for bulky water killing and suicune is not used very often, and the most used bulky water, swampert, is ohked by unboosted GK.

I would also put reflect over hypnosis on bronzong as having two sleep inducers on one team is a bit repetitive. Reflect would also help your teams physical bulk as your physical walls lack recovery outside of blissey's wish, and blissey pretty much takes special attackers so reflect is better than light screen. Bronzong is one of the best transition pokes in the game and that would really help your team as from what I see it is fairly balanced.

Good luck with the team and hope I helped,

-chaos 9

I have a suggestion for your Infernape. You can use ThunderPunch>Grass Knot and HP Ice>Nasty Plot, making it a much more effective wall breaker. ThunderPunch easily 2HKOs Gyarados, assuming it switches into you. It also does severe damage to Starmie and Tentacruel, two other common switchins to Infernape. HP Ice will OHKO most dragons, meaning you won't just let Salamence get a free DD.

blasphemy1, grass knot is essential for Swampert. Plus it hits bulky waters for better damage except vaporeon or gyarados.
