I need help, I am using Chimchar, I restarted and I want to know of a better team, any good tips to start?

No tips. Just catch stuff and train stuff. This site is for competitive battle, not in-game battle.

Naive/Lonely/something that boosts speed OR Attack with out reducing attack or speed is good enough IMO

Well, start off by catching a Budew and a Machop, the first of which can be located in the route north of Jubilife City in the morning. They should help you greatly against Roark, the first gym leader, who uses rock type pokemon.

I think the Simple Question thread could host this question a lot better =D

...and for in-game help, you should search for FAQ's on Google. Those can be helpful to people who haven't completed/just started D/P. This site is more for competitive battling, and not really for in-game help that much.
