i think hornet silksong is somewhere in my house, what do i do

i found a little pin thing on the floor a little smaller than my pinky and it looks straight up identical to hornet's needle, like it's sharp af, the contour of the blade matches perfectly, it's got the little circle pin hole and shit. what do i do? is hornet real? is hornet in my house?? should i try and return the needle??? is the basement of my house secretly hold a tiny tiny entrance to part of pharloom???? this is just one big revalation after another, does anyone have any info or advice for me

i havent seen hornet in person yet but she would probably want the needle back. how should i go about returning it? i dont want to lose it by accident if it doesnt end up getting back in her... hands...? does hornet have hands? ...legs??? ?????
 
also why do all of you want me to kill hornet so badly

like im just now realizing how many of these posts are "kill hornet"

why would i do that? it's mean 3:
 
I played a good bit of silksong and realized i don't like metroidvanias. You should set up something thst looks like a platform but us really just a mini glue trap

this might be it. i can finally give hornet her needle back. unless this is the boiler again in which case that would be a lot less fun
 
If you want to kill her all you have to do is hover ever so slightly out of range of her needle and fire your projectile and it's ggs. If you really wanna ensure victory make sure there's no walls behind you. She has practically no counterplay to this.

either i'm an idiot and i misplaced it or hornet now has her weapon back

this is either very good or very bad and i am not sure which it is. i think i have a new course of action - capture hornet cause i think it would be funny to have hornet in like a neat little spider terrarium kinda like a vacation home thing, would be wholesome i think, but the fact that hornet can now easily stab me probably complicates things. does anyone here have any experience with capturing magical bugs that can probably avoid glue traps and flypaper with relative ease (edit: WITHOUT KILLING THEM)
 
Metroidvania protagonists are actually pretty easy to capture. Most of them have been conditioned to enter places they can't currently leave because they think that there's going to be a new movement ability in there. Just make sure your trap is actually empty (may require regular cleaning out if your protagonist can get powers from dead things).

i'll keep this in mind. i have a little setup that might work, ty for your input. will report back with the results
