Inheritance [Prime Council Elected]

Metagross gets more from Carracosta than anything else mentioned: Shell Smash, Pre-Mega Solid Rock to help setup SS, Post-Mega Contact abuse with Zen Headbutt and Iron Head, and plenty of coverage options.

Genesect also gives you zen headbutt and Iron head, but also gives you extremespeed, blaze kick, and download, to possibly have +2+2 without being -2 and risking being rk'd by things like lando or fakespeeders.

Interesting note: Mega Pidgeot's best inheritor might be Whimsicott. Prankster pre-MEvo for 1st turn priority shenanigans, dual STABs in Hurricane and Nature Power, Shadow Ball for coverage, and No Guard GrassWhistle.

A bunch of sets come to mind. Pidgeot could inherit from Dragonite. It would get Hurricane, Focus Blast, Thunder, Blizzard, Fire Blast and Draco Meteor. Plus Multiscale is always a little handy.

Castform gets Blizzard, Hydro Pump, Hurricane, Fire Blast. Gyarados gets Hydro Pump, Blizzard, Thunder, Fire Blast and has Intimidate.

Best is Zap Cannon though. Genesect gets Download + Zap Cannon/Blizzard. Regice gets Zap Cannon/Focus Blast/Blizzard and has Clear Body which might be somewhat useful I guess.

If you want to spread some burns and hax, charizard also works cause you get inferno, dynamic punch and air slash, also focus blast.
And if you inherit from mega y, you can get pseudo stab inferno

Then we need something like Flygon-Heatran, also why hasn't anyone played around with Primadon-Ape? It get's STAB on Eruption and Focus Blast, a nice Base speed so, unlike Chandelure who has to run scarf, can afford to run specs and still hit pretty hard.
252 SpA Choice Specs Infernape Eruption (150 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Mew in Harsh Sunshine: 339-400 (83.9 - 99%) -- 75% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock
252 SpA Chandelure Eruption (150 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Mew in Harsh Sunshine: 288-339 (71.2 - 83.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery

Because keldeo is also the most obvious and is quite synonymous with kyogre in the tier. Most other examples in this format have several common sets/variants (or would just make for a shitty banner).

What if I told you that there was a non-Water Absorber that could beat PSea Keldeo?

Slowking @ Leftovers
Ability: Lightning Rod
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Wish
- Protect
- Surf
- Volt Switch

252 SpA Choice Specs Keldeo Water Spout (150 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Slowking in Heavy Rain: 185-218 (46.9 - 55.3%) -- 71.9% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Poison Heal
Poison heal represents you using protect in between turns. So no, it doesn't switch in consistently, unfortunately. Keldeo is just that strong. Some people are also starting to run Modest Keldeo for the purpose of beating chansey and other mons that barely tank its attacks, and it works pretty well.

Exactly.

Anywho, I saw some people using serperior as a donor cuz contrary Leaf storm. What are some good recipients?
Sceptile is probably the best since it has great speed and a decent special attack. Shaymin has more bulk, but has lower special attack and is much slower. Other than those two, I don't see any good recipients.

I was thinking something like mega scept that sets up premega for a sweep, before I realized priority is everywhere. You're hard pressed to sub when you need to boost too, and many teams can run dual priority. Not to mention heatran, which is on many a stall team, almost completely shuts it down.
