Instacheck Hotspot -- a fast Pokémon checker for XY

Damn, I've heard of a couple people doing it purely on Wireless so hopefully someone that has the same scenario as me can help. Thanks anyway!

I know there was a person that posted fairly recently saying they do it purely via wireless but I think they are running Windows 8. I'm not 100% sure though. Best of luck to you! :D Also, did you go to command prompt and type "netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow"??

Hmm I've followed it to step 4 because it gets that error. Very Frustrating!

Yes it gets Set to Allow after I do that but it doesn't solve the problem.

Then I don't believe you can use Instacheck. If there is a way to do it solely wirelessly I do not know how. I do know the requirements section you need both physical and wireless to do Instacheck.

Mine works 100% with just the wireless.

you need to use the same connection that you get online with. If you are using "Wireless Network Connection" to connecto to the internet via your pc then you need to select that in instacheck. I can't take a screen shot cause I'm not home but I connect through "Wireless Network Connection 2" so I have instacheck set to "Wireless Network Connection 2"

Wi-Fi 4G is my normal wifi im on Windows 7 and heres my Adapter settings (Ignore the Top 3):

Try deleting "Local area connection 2" or enabling it even if its unplugged

For some reason Local Area Connection 2 has disappeared ?.? I tried disabling the Wireless Network Connection 2 (The Instacheck one) and I get this error instead:

Looks like you might be stuck having to hardwire. I don't really see another way around it. :(

hmm no idea why "Local area connection 2" disappeared. Have you tried enabling all 3 connections and tested it again?

Okay Vegeta! xD Anyway, if all else fails you can try to host your own hotspot and use Instacheck standalone. I'm about to try that myself. What is LAN 2? Is it like a tether or something you've created?
