Instacheck Hotspot -- a fast Pokémon checker for XY

Hey folks, new to the site, joined because I spotted this funny thing with Insta-check. If you have a wireless card, and you connect your 3ds to it, and you use the SAME card to connect to the internet, thats what causes the empty bar on the "stats" page.

Also, I can't use the app right now since my cable is downstairs and it's 4.40 am, would someone be willing to trade with me and tell me my TSV please :)
 
I have an issue with starting the hotspot that i haven't seen here yet, Getting the error
"Error HRESULT E_FAIL has been returned from a call to a COM component."

Tried searching for answers and have gotten no luck.
 
Just signed up to offer my shiny value to the pile: 465

I suppose I should get to work on breeding some perfect eggs now.

I have found the solution to "Virtualrouterplus has stopped working." You need to turn on your WLAN service. To do this, simply:

Windows 7
Go to Start, Search, and type in services.msc
Go down to WLAN Auto Config, double click it to open
Under Startup Type, select Automatic
Under Service Status, Click the Start button

That should be it! Now just start Instacheck

That's exactly what you do. Find another person, show them eggs, compare player shiny value to Pokemon shiny value.
Find someone who matches if interested, rinse and repeat.

Sorry guys, but help me out here. I got everything working, I know my strainer shiny value. How will that help me get specific shiny pokemon?

On several lists, there are people with their FC and SV's if your egg has a SV and someone has the same SV you give it to them to hatch and it will be shiny, then tradeback
 
I just started thinking, This may not work for me because of one very short but complicated reason. I don't have a wireless card. I'm running off of ethernet. But its complicated because

1. I am on ethernet but not out of the wall.
2. The ethernet is hooked up to a wifi range extender
2.5 the range extender picks up the wifi and broadcasts it again, BUT also has an ethernet jack.

Thats the half-assed way i rigged it because while building my beautiful computer, I ran out of money and forgot my motherboard doesnt have wireless built in...

Did I confuse anyone yet?

My roommate and I are having quite a frustrating issue.

The problem we're experiencing is that despite being connected with no problems (and yes, we are connected to the instacheck hotspot), no dota on what's being traded shows up during the scan, for any of the options selected.

netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow

Enter that command in the cmd as an administrator, right click cmd and run as administrator, should work, if not I have no idea
