The nicest way I can think of wording this is. Why are you posting this on smogon? It's acceptable for athletes. Obviously if you're not a swimmer or a runner people are going to talk about your shaved legs (if you're important enough to talk about). Do what you want, who cares.

Honestly all humans should keep their whole body including their scalp clean shaved

An admirable goal

I have a bare patch on both my shins right above my feet. I don't know if it's from wearing socks because it's not the entire circumference of my leg, just the front.

People have asked if I shave that area (stupid question). So I guess I share some camaraderie with shavers?

Either way, it's fine by me what men do with their body hair. Women, however.

You dont like your women looking like chewbacca?

I don't mind if men wanna shave their legs really. However, I'd like to make a suggestion to wax instead as there will be less hairs when it grows back and it will be a lot smoother. Waxing > Shaving IMO.

I have really light and thin body/leg hair that is hard to notice unless someone is trying to, so I never really had this dilemma. If I was a super hairy individual, I'd trim over keeping everything hairless just because of the work involved.

I wouldn't say that shaving either normal or weird. I just wonder why bother to do it.

TBH tho shaving = BIG waste when you could just Nair it off (usable in the bikini area too) and enjoy a week of extremely smooth, hair-free legs that stays smooth and doesn't grow back all irritated or ingrown lol.
Something tells me that a product with the power to remove hair probably isn't the nicest thing to be rubbing into your skin...

Those home waxing kits (like veet strips) you get from the chemist are a total disaster. Going to a salon is expensive and usually leaves you looking like a plucked duck for a few days in any case. I also once made the stupid mistake of getting my face waxed in what was definitively the most agonizing hour of my life, all to get a result that was less smooth than shaving since it turns out there are many fine, prickly hairs that dont bind to the wax and remain behind. I've since concluded that shaving is the lesser of the hair-removing evils...

You should look into sugar waxing, which is much gentler (and actually natural) on the face since it doesn't rip your skin off lol. Another eastern hair removal method that I def vouch for is Indian Hair Threading -- It's vastly becoming popular and you can usually find some lady doing it at any mall really, and it's cheap to do if you learn how to do it at home.

If you're going to keep shaving though, def look into safety razors :blobuwu:

Yeah, are you familiar with these sugaring organic hair removals like Moom and Cocojojo? I use them for my body hair, it is not only potentially a heather alternative to waxing, it is also far less painful than waxing. Natural ingredients includes organic cane sugar, chamomile tea, and lemon juice. They also come with stripes and different scents to choose from, lavender oil, tree tea oil, argon oil, and azulene oil. You can proposition them either hot or cold.

You know I've not heard of those brands before, but I'm impressed so far by their catalogue of essential oils.

Organic sugar cane waxing sounds fire, but I'm NOT a fan of labeling known strong irritant oils (strong example in tree tea oil) as organic, thereby luring a consumer into the belief that it is 100% blessed with nature's purity and safety over lab manufactured products. But that is neither here nor there.

Where's the option for "I use clippers on them when it's football season and I need to put strapping tape all over my legs, but don't ordinarily shave my legs (even though I like how it looks) cause it's a pain in the ass and time consuming?"
he probably assumed no one would be douchey enough to say something like "bro its football season bro, i gotta keep these legs shaven so when i put my manly strapping tape on my legs to play football like an alpha male, that it doesnt hurt when i pull it off bro" but here we are

FACT: Male Olympic Swimmers, like Michael Phelps, shaved their body hair to increase streamline of their bodies while swimming, as hair causes drag under water.

Regardless of being a man or a woman, all people have the right to do whatever they want with their own body, many men and women still have a conservative mind and still attribute characteristics to the act saying it is "gay thing"? Just saying it isn't opinion and yes a prejudice, also.. What has to do with the sexual orientation of people? Let's stop creating patterns and let people be happy, please.
Just remembering: STOP BEING AN IDIOT! If you keep your legs hairy, that's YOUR PROBLEM!
