Java can be downloaded on psp with custom firmware, however not sure you could get shoddy working.

The only java environments for psp that I can find are for the java mobile environment (as used by phone games) and not the computer environment (and webstart and all the gummings) that shoddy needs so no.

And anyway shoddy probably uses far too much ram for a mobile device anyway.

The kind of server Shoddy runs... o.O On the Smogon server your PSP would crash because there is always like, 250 on the smogon server. (But that depends on if you used Smogon or not...) I would have to see how fast the interenet speed on my PSP is, though.

you cant install anything like that unless its been jailbroken and even then i don't think you could install java.

That's a good question. I would question if the connection can handle it as others have said. However, I know that I can get IRC on my DS with DS Organize on my flashcart. Considering how shoddy nintendo's wifi connection is it could be possible.

It would probably require some crafty modifications that may be possible with a flash cart or something of the sort.

No, to my knowledge even with a jailbroken iPod Touch there is no java app so it wouldn't work. Coupled with the fact that running shoddy will probably make your ipod crash...
