Heyo guys, this is NOCturnal Hunter yet again...With another BH team...So soon after another one...
Anyways, I'm going to do something different this time; I'm going to add some music to this Team! :D
Anyways, lets get down into the bread and butter of what makes this team what it is.
I wanted to play around with Trick, so I decided that PH Giratina would be a cool starting point, being able to deal with bulkier Pokemon, and even wearing them out quicker with Trick+Toxic Damage!
Chansey is a staple on literally every single BH team. Imposter helps with Scouting which is a "hell yes" in a metagame where any Pokemon can have any set.
Mold Breaker Mega Mewtwo X helps handle Shedinja, who I thought might cause this team problems. In hindsight, it probably doesn't cause the team problems, but the Mega Mewtwo X helped to influence my teambuilding to handle Shedinja a lot better.
Mega Venusaur is the main result of adding Mega Mewtwo X; it helped Imposter-Proof the team with Primordial Sea+Venusaurite. Its set also helps wear out more offensive teams.
Registeel was just a natural glue to the team; it helped deal with annoying hazard setters which troubles everything, considering how momentum based I made the team.
Chansey has more than one role in BH, and its second role is Fur Coat; this thing can wall pretty much every -ate Pokemon in existence, in addition to a fair few other mons.
Now to the meat of the team!
Curse You! (Giratina) @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Trick
- Curse
- Volt Switch
- Recover
For the EVs/Nature, I just clicked on what the teambuilder suggested. Please suggest to me a better EV spread if you have one. Anyways, since I wanted to make a Trick team, Trick was a necessity. Also, since this is PH Giratina, Toxic Orb was also a necessity. Volt Switch gives me a nice pivot, Recover is recovery, and Curse is the whole reason to use PH Giratina, and unblockable chip damage of 25% health is not something to take lightly.
Peekaboo (Chansey) @ Eviolite
Ability: Imposter
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Fake Out
- Skill Swap
- Metal Burst
- Soft-Boiled
(So true. Why do you think it passes wishes in standard?)
Imposter Chansey is a great Pokemon, very hard to beat. Being able to turn into a better anything is very cool. Just make sure not to switch into anything which might have a plate AKA Gengar-Mega. Since there is nothing to say about this, I'm just going to quote someone else.
"None of this moves are actually useful, as Chansey is transformed 99.99999999999% of the time. Fake Out breaks Illusion (which blocks Imposter), however, some Illusion pokes are Ghost-types, so watch out. Skill Swap transforms the foe into a useless Chansey copy with no good HP and easy set up fodder, this is used mainly for Sub users, which again block Imposter; the foe's boosts are removed as well this way. Soft-Boiled is recovery, Metal Burst sends back a powerful hit to the opponent. The EVs are pretty self-explanatory." - dsm77773
(lol, and yes, I know I'm going out of order. idgas)
SWAK (Chansey) @ Eviolite
Ability: Fur Coat
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Bold Nature
- Parting Shot
- Soft-Boiled
- Topsy-Turvy
- Heal Bell
Fur Coat Chansey is another Pokemon set that is pretty self explanitory. Parting Shot is momentum, Soft-Boiled is recovery, Topsy-Turvy helps me deal with Contrarys/Setup Sweepers before I need to rely on Imposter luck. Heal Bell is just filler, as I never really use it. If you find a sizable replacement for Heal Bell that actually does something for this team, please tell me, this team could really appreciate it.
Slap (Mewtwo-Mega-X) @ Choice Band
Ability: Mold Breaker
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- U-turn
- Pursuit
- Trick
- V-create
Mega Mewtwo X is the main hole puncher in the team; Choice Band V-create from 190 base attack is going to sting, with or without STAB. Pursuit allows MM2X to kill Shedinja reliably with Mold Breaker. Trick is here to cripple defensive Pokemon, while U-turn is momentum. Simple enough, I think.
Venus (Venusaur-Mega) (F) @ Venusaurite
Ability: Primordial Sea
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Parting Shot
- Soft-Boiled
- Leech Seed
- Defog
This thing keeps my team together. It prevents the entire team from crumbling to Imposter Chansey, since Mega Stones block Trick. In addition, Primordial Sea blocks Mega Mewtwo X's V-create, which is another huge boon to this thing. Leech Seed is more chip damage, Defog is hazard removal, Soft Boiled is healing, and Parting Shot is pivoting.
(xD)
Ironic (Registeel) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Magic Bounce
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 152 Def / 100 SpD
Impish Nature
- U-turn
- Trick
- Defog
- Roost
Yes, I know that picture is cute. Choice Scarf is a nice little trick for Registeel, no pun intended. It gets those stupid Rocks setters to get bounce their own hazards back at them, while locking them into that one move. Defog removes those hazards, Roost heals, U-turn pivots with chip damage, and the EVs help deal with -ates a little better.

Mega Gengar - This thing breaks everything on my team. I have to rely on a speedtie with Mega Mewtwo X to beat it.
Gale Wings Rayquaza - This thing is rare, although it doesn't change how sp00py it is to my team. Once its behind a substitute, its game over.
