A Jolly nature with Max Speed and HP IS another option, so it could be an alternate spread.
Just nitpicking here, but a Careful nature 252 HP and 80 Special Defense EVs in Special Defense does allow you the luxury of using Substitute in front of all "Bulky 0SpA Boiling Waters" and the substitute always surviving. This means that you can use Toxic a bit more safely on specific targets, like Vaporeon, Suicune, Burungeru, and Blissey, and always have your health intact.
It's pretty optimal to "break up" defensive Pokemon in general. Speed is kept up to outspeed a large portion of the metagame anyways, but MAx Speed does have its advantages. Anything else?
