It's a wash describes something that comes out even; no one side has an advantage over another or the positive and negative aspects of a situation seem to cancel each other out.

That leaves... me and JALMONT? Or is that just a "they're all on the same tier as each other" thing?
Not this one but a future one. I'll just piss him off in scum chat and then we can have organic back and forth trying to get each other voted out.
ImaginaryNeon in this game has had some egregious fence-sitting. This is in contrast to his play in Assist Trophy Mutiny.
While they have a jokey attitude, in Assist Trophy Mutiny there was genuine solving/trying to pressure scumreads. For example:
Contrast his Day 1 that game to Day 1 of this one.
Voting everyone aka "finding everyone scummy" (done by mafia to not step on anyone's toes)

Giving them an excuse to stay off the Emchee/Haruno wagon, and also preemptively downplaying their vote on me.
ImaginaryNeon's whole ISO is very fence-sitting, which is a lot different to how he played in Assist Mutiny. There is literally no hunting or solving in this game, while last game actually had a lot.

Via Neon's spreadsheet from post 686 the only other two people who had reads against JALMONT by the time of this posting were AG as null and skipper as null (against JALMONT). I am wondering what made Neon vote against JALMONT when two other people had null reads against him.
I think what this may be is JALMONT and ImaginaryNeon distancing from each other as scum buddies. But this is just a theory that came to me in a dream.

what i basically wanted to say that i thought i was being clever about was like, "if jalmont and neon are mafia they're doing very well and we're about to get wiped before we piece that together" bc they have very good distancing if they're aligned as scum
yeah i mneitoned in a previous post that i thought it might be you plus any of neon/skipper/pulsar/zippy, since that was what jalmont was asking abt i refered back to it

Voting skipper is the losing play.
I feel like they have some level of scum equity with JALMONT, they had some interaction that could be viewed as distancing, but the more it goes on the less it feels like that.
So if we lynch Skipper, we sort of lose even if they are mafia. Because if they are mafia then who is their partner? We will have no way of having the wolf partners spew each other if we lynch WOLF-Skipper.
He's definitely scummy though but we basically gotta 50% solve the game today or we lose.
The same logic applies to Neon, although Neon is objectively better than Skipper as they have more content to look at after a flip.

I'm not sure my logic is 100% sound, there are some variables I didn't consider.
so you're basically saying you don't think skip is mafia or that skip and I are bussing each other. that's an interesting defense.
it just seems totally crazy to me that we can't consider 1 guy not because we don't think he's mafia...but because we think voting him out EVEN IF HE IS MAFIA will cause us to LOSE the game ??????????? so we are just giving low posters a pass now ?
I've been thinking about this conversation a bit... but I was mentally hanging up on some things. I think "EVEN IF HE IS MAFIA" jostled my thoughts loose. Skip and Zippy were both on my list... gonna plug a "Zippy is covering for skip" idea about this.
Especially since Zippy said skip had equity with you, JALMONT. At this point, I'm afraid of hammers taking away time to talk, so I'm leaving my vote as-is for now. But I like voting either one of them much more than my previous belief that they were just our best bet.
