Killing Birds: The Options

yeah I've had success with a triple bird team with glalie setting up spikes and swellow, CB braviary, can CS dodrio, as well as throh to come in from swellow's u-turn on the rock steel types and phaze around qith circle throw, hopefully bringing those same rock/steels back in to rack up spike damage until braviary can break through them with superpower. It's actually doing very well despite a lot of gaping holes.
 
Something I was briefly experimenting with was Relincanth- people forget just how defensive he is, with 100 / 130 defenses to his benefit. He only has 90 attack, but Rock / Water coverage is really nice and Head Smash is nothing to laugh at. I think he's really underutilized and underestimated as an offensive AND defensive threat.
 
He really isn't that great. If you opt for regenerator then you lose to toxic. His defensive typing isn't too great and it's offensive stats are a joke.
 
despite what keiran may think, corsola is simply not viable. He has terrible bulk, pretty much ruling out any defensive role he could play, and unlike camerupt his typing doesn't carve out a niche for him, to make up for his lacklustre bulk. He has a fairly bad typing when it comes to weaknesses; to some of the most common attacking types in NU, and is set up fodder for a large amount of things, such as Gorebyss or Absol, and especially SubSD Leafeon. Although he can hit hard with a hustle set, that is beyond gimmicky and just "lol"-worthy. Lastly, he faces a massive issue of being outclassed, as there are so many rock-types in NU that do his job better, and things like Alomomola and Frillish mostly outclass him; as well as Relicanth!

Dodrio does get Roost along with Rest+Early Bird. If I remember correctly Pursuit isn't what makes Dodrio special it is Taunt, which could prevent Shelll Smash Carracosta from setting up etc.

Anyone have opinions on which is better Roost or Rest+Early Bird?
