Kingambit
Knock Off / Kowtow Cleave

Sucker Punch
Swords Dance / Pursuit
Black Glasses
Supreme Overlord
Adamant
132 HP / 252 Atk / 124 Spe
Tera Type: Dark / Fairy / Flying

*Kingambit acts as a check to Yveltal, Arceus-Dark, Lunala and Giratina-O whilst also being capable of checking some variants of Extremekiller Arceus, Necrozma-DM and Ultra-Necrozma, threatening Knock Offs and Pursuit trapping where applicable. It can also act as a potential late game sweeper due to the combination of Swords Dance, a boosting item of choice, Supreme Overlord's potential 50% damage boost and Sucker Punch.

*Knock Off is Kingambit's strongest source of physical dark-type STAB whilst also providing a utilitarian role in removing the opponents held item, however Kowtow Cleave may be used instead for Knock Off absorbers such as Primal-Groudon, Primal-Kyogre, Giratina-O and Ultranecrozium-z Necrozma-DM as well as consistent damage as opposed to Knock Off's one-time high base power.
*Iron Head pairs well with this due to its complimentary nature against Dark resists such as Yveltal, Arceus-Fairy and Zacian-Crowned. Low Kick may also be ran in place of Iron Head for a stronger hit against Arceus-Dark, guaranteeing a KO against standard Calm Mind variants. Though this does come at the cost of being unable to OHKO Arceus-Fairy.
*Sucker Punch's priority makes up for Kingambit's low base speed whilst still hitting hard when boosted by Supreme Overlord, Swords Dance and Black Glasses.
*Pursuit is used in order to trap opponents such as Lunala, Choice locked Marshadow, variants of Necrozma-DM and Ultra-Necrozma and other potential dark weak pokemon. Swords Dance is used when Kingambit opts for a sweeping role, allowing for potential sweeps against frailer teams or late game sweeps against bulkier team styles.
*Black Glasses are used in order to boost the power of Kingambit's dark STAB without cutting into its HP, this also preferred as Kingambit tends to only use Iron Head against dark resists. Lum Berry may also be used to allow for a safer matchup into Ho-Oh
*Supreme Overlord is ran due to its damage increase in the late game, when most of Kingambit's teammates are likely fainted. On Swords Dance sets, the potential 50% damage increase allows for an further sweeping attempts even without prior Swords Dance boosts. This ability is ran over Defiant due to it's inconsistency due to reliance on having a stat dropped (not particularly easy aside from and defog) and inability to stack damage boosts as much as Supreme Overlord can.

*124 speed evs may be run to allow for Kingambit to outspeed Alomomola and Gothitelle. The rest of the evs are put towards HP in order to increase Kingambit's bulk. For example, offensive Ho-oh's adamant Sacred Fire goes from a guaranteed OHKO against uninvested Kingambit to 82-97% when running 128 HP evs. This, the lack of other threats that require further investment and other examples of hit-taking provide reasoning for this choice in ev investment.
*Tera Dark is used in order to boost Kingambit's damage potential further - particularly Sucker Punch as it tends to be Kingambit's preferred damage method against faster opponents in the late game. Tera Dark also has the benefit of removing Kingambit's Ground and Fire weakness, removing Primal-Groudon's OHKO potential with Precipice Blades. Tera Fairy and Flying may be ran as defensive Teras, helping Kingambit in matchups with Zacian-C, Marshadow and Primal-Groudon. Tera Fairy also provides an immunity to Zygarde's Dragon Tail, as phasing tends to be a common answer to sweeping attempts. Tera Fire may also be used in order to allow Kingambit to safely set up on Ho-oh as well as take Overheats from Primal Groudon, which OHKO's against neutral teras.

*Kingambit fits on more bulkier offensive teams as a utility pokemon, removing items with Knock Off and trapping with Pursuit in order to allow teammates with ghost and psychic related struggles to thrive. However it can also choose to take the Swords Dance route, acting as late game sweeper with Supreme Overlord boosts against a chipped team. Teammates carry pivoting moves that allow for Kingambit to get safely on the field are appreciated.

*Primal Groudon pairs nicely with Kingambit due to it being able to check Zacian-C and Ho-oh, both of which are reliable checks to Kingambit. It also acts as a method of hazard setting through either Stealth Rock or Spikes, allowing for the breaking of Focus Sashes and applying pressure on those without recovery.
*Ho-oh is also capable of checking Zacian-C and clears hazards, this greatly assists the recovery-lacking Kingambit. The ability to spread burns through Sacred Fire also helps Kingambit find opportunities to set up against the likes of Necrozma-DM, Rayquaza and Mega-Salamence. The chip damage provided by burn allows Kingambit to chip down those affected by it; Zygarde, Arceus-Dark and other problematic pokemon for Kingambit.
*Arceus-Fairy switches into Marshadow and Zygarde and is capable of crippling of both with Will-o-wisp or setting up on them with Calm Mind, allowing it to open holes in the opponents team for Kingambit to abuse later.

name: Kingambit Offensive Utility how did we mess up the skeleton analysis, USE ASTERIKS (*) NOT HYPHENS FOR EACH POINT
move 1: Knock Off / Kowtow Cleave
move 2: Iron Head
move 3: Sucker Punch
move 4: Pursuit / Swords Dance Swords Dance / Pursuit
item: Black Glasses / Life Orb do not use this
ability: Supreme Overlord

evs: 132 Hp HP / 252 Atk / 124 Spe
tera type: Dark / Fairy / Flying

- Kingambit acts as a check to Yveltal, Arceus-Dark, Lunala and Giratina-Origin whilst also being capable of checking some variants of Extremekiller Arceus without Earthquake, Necrozma-Dusk Mane and Ultra Necrozma. It can also act as a potential late game sweeper due to the combination of Swords Dance, a boosting item of choice, Supreme Overlord's potential 50% damage boost and Sucker Punch with Swords Dance and Sucker Punch, you need to mention gambit's trapping capabilities with pursuit, esp against lunala and girao; you also need to talk about the drawbacks of kingambit since its only C- right now, such as its lack of recovery, and tendency to bring in primal groudon and zygarde who easily setup on it
- Knock Off is Kingambit's best source of dark-type STAB clearly it isnt if Kowtow Cleave is slashed, instead talk abt its utility against stuff like Ho-Oh, defensive Yveltal and Marshadow, however Kowtow Cleave may be used instead for Knock Off absorbers such as Primal-Groudon, Primal-Kyogre, Giratina-Origin and Ultranecrozium-z Necrozma-Dusk Mane, notably dealing more damage to Giratina-O and Primal Kyogre it still bounces off of primal groudon, and ultra necro is better dealt with sucker anyways (and pdon to an extent)
- Iron Head pairs well with this due to its complimentary nature against Dark resists such as Yveltal, Arceus-Fairy and Zacian-Crowned can combine this bullet point into the previous one
- Sucker Punch's priority makes up for Kingambit's low base speed whilst still hitting hard when boosted by Supreme Overlord, Swords Dance and Life Orb or Black Glasses filler, instead talk about how kingambit can revenge kill a lot of threats with this, such as ultra necrozma, deoxys attack and mega mewtwo y; then you can mention swords dance (to keep it in order) for its late game sweeping role
- Pursuit is used in order to trap opponents such as Lunala, Choice-locked Marshadow and variants of Necrozma-Dusk Mane and Ultra-Necrozma Giratina-O defensive necrozma-dm is too mid to mention while ultra necrozma is better dealt with sucker to not get nuked ur self. Swords Dance is used when Kingambit opts for a sweeping role, boosting its attack and allowing for potential late game sweeps. does SD let it reach any important damage thresholds?
- Black Glasses are used in order to boost the power of Kingambit's dark STAB without cutting into its Hp, Life Orb may instead be ran for a larger damage boost to all of Kingambit's moves at the cost of longevity do not include life orb that item sucks; reword this bullet point and notably talk about important damage thresholds that black glasses lets kingambit achieve (i.e lets kgb OHKO unecro with sucker after rocks damage)
- Supreme Overlord is ran in order to increase Kingambit's damage in the late game, when most of its team is likely down. On Swords Dance sets, the potential 50% damage increase allows for an further sweeping attempts filler

- 124 speed evs allow for it to outspeed Alomomola and alomomola runs negative speed anyways so you always outspeed it Gothitelle. The rest of the evs are put towards Hp in order to increase Kingambit's bulk does this do anything special compared to 0 hp kgb? (avoids 2hko from banded tera ghost marsh's polter)
- Tera Dark is used in order to boost Kingambit's damage potential further - particularly Sucker Punch as it tends to be Kingambit's preferred damage method against faster opponents in the late game anything specific? (able to ohko offensive yveltal with +2 knock off with tera (without overlord boosts) also lets u more reliably ohko unecro and NDM). Tera Dark also has the benefit of removing Kingambit's Ground and Fire weakness, assisting it with beating Primal Groudon Eternatus and Necrozma-DM more easily u have to click sucker into pdon anyways and overheat still kills even with tera dark so its not worth mentioning. Tera Fairy and Flying may be ran as defensive Teras, helping Kingambit in matchups with Zacian-Crowned, Marshadow and Primal-Groudon Marshadow and Deoxys-A, letting it avoid being OHKO'd by Low Kick. Tera Fairy also provides an immunity to Zygarde's Dragon Tail kgb never beats coil dtail zyg and its rlly inconsistent into ddance, not worth mentioning
- Kingambit fits on Bulky Offense teams as either a utility pokemon, removing items such as? from what? with Knock Off and trapping who? with Pursuit. It can also choose to take the Swords Dance route, acting as late game sweeper with Supreme Overlord boosts against a chipped team this bullet point is really vague. how should you use either kingambit variant? do you play aggressively with it? is there any specific 1v1 situations that are worth mentioning?
- Primal-Groudon pairs nicely with Kingambit as it is able to take on Ho-oh and Zacian-Crowned, both of which are reliable checks to Kingambit. It also acts as a method of hazard setting through either Stealth Rock or Spikes, allowing for the breaking of Focus Sashes and no sash marshadows here unfort applying pressure on those without recovery how does kingambit assist primal groudon? talk abt it notably breaking through gira-o, while making the most of pdon's hazards with knock off support vs hooh and mola
- Ho-oh is also capable of checking Zacian-Crowned non-Dragon Tail Zygarde and Arceus-Fairy for Kingambit, and clears hazards, this greatly assists the recovery-lacking Kingambit. The ability to spread burns through Sacred Fire also helps Kingambit find opportunities to set up against several of the tier's physical attackers such as? also again what does kingambit do in return?
- Arceus-Fairy switches into Marshadow and Zygarde and is capable of crippling of both with Will-o-Wisp or setting up on them with Calm Mind, allowing it to open holes in the opponents team for Kingambit to abuse later is able to check both Zygarde and Marshadow, while breaking through the former with Calm Mind, letting Kingambit break through more easily. what does kingambit do for fairceus?

Alternative Options

- Low Kick may be run in place of Iron Head as a stronger hit against Arceus-Dark (having a 50% chance to OHKO full health utility variants as opposed to Iron Head's 54% to two hit) as well as hitting the extremely rare Zamazenta-Crowned for super-effective damage. However this comes at the cost of removing Kingambit's ability to easily beat Arceus-Fairy

- Tera Ghost or Fire may be used as defensive Teras against the likes of Marshadow and Ho-oh, respectively low kick should be mentioned in the iron head bullet point; dont use tera ghost/fire this isnt sv ubers and it isnt worth it

Will do, will try to change some points based on the sources you provided. Also I didn't plagarise anything

After some internal discussion with the QC team, it has come to an agreement to QC reject this and reassign it, more specifically there's been multiple incidents of QC team members trying to guide you to improve the article in the Discord server for the tier, yet that often was met with general unawareness of the metagame, and a good portion of Sami's QC check wasn't applied properly even after multiple back-and-forths in the same server.

Because of those issues that would demand a complete rewrite of the analysis, this is being archived, let me know if you have any questions!
