Been just about a year since I opened my thread, decided to have a look back. Overall I'm extremely happy with the changes my art has taken since I started digital art last year July, and started getting into drawing last year in January

When in doubt, skull it out
Super rough up close, both could use some more definition, but overall quite happy

This was meant to be a practice to understand facial anatomy in more detail, but it ended up also being a super fun render process. I might actually put anatomy on hold after I do some more realistic face renders to focus on backgrounds/landscapes as well, but who knows... Might be drawing 20 more skulls before I feel as dry as one

Open for critiques and tips on how anyone else would do things like this as well
