Kyurem-W is a terrifying wallbreaker in the Ubers- [remove hyphen] tier, possessing a sky-high base 170 base Special Attack, [ac] and a rather nice offensive typing and coverage, [comma > period] In addition to that it boasts nice coverrage and a decent Speed tier that allows, [rc] allowing it to outrun quite a bit of the slower metagame. But of course it has its drawbacks. However, [ac] its generally nice Speed tier still leaves it outsped by quite a bit of Pokemon, and while its typing is good offensively, [ac] it provides little defensive benefit, making it hard to fit Kyurem-W on a team. Kyurem-W's strong Dragon-STAB Draco Meteor is not as spammable as it they was in previous generations due to with the introduction of strong Fairy-type Pokemon such as Fairies, [rc] especially Xerneas. Another weak point is that after you Kyurem-W nukes something with Draco Meteor, [ac] it can you end up being set-up setup fodder for a lot of Pokemon. Despite its flaws, Kyurem-W retains its place as one of the stronger wallbreaker in the tier.

Earth Power is another option to hit Diancie and Primal Groudon hard [add space] while and still doing super effective SE damage to Dialga, though you have to be careful of Shuca Berry variants. [period] [No mention of Sleep Talk even though it's slashed?]

Choice Specs grant you Kyurem-W the power to break through nearly anything with the according move. For EVs and nature, Timid with 252 SpA / 252 Spe / 4 SpD is used to give you Kyurem-W the ability to Speed tie other positively-natured base 95s Speed Pokemon, [ac] and outspeed neutral-natured Xerneas, Rayquaza, Yveltal, [ac] and opposing Kyurem-W, and allow Kyurem-W while also giving you the ability to switch into Stealth Rock SR 4 times without dying to it. A Modest nature can be chosen to further amplify your Kyurem-W's damage output.

Usage Tips
========

Try bringing Kyurem-W in as often as possible during the early stages of the game and spam the appropriate coverage move coverrage-move you see fit, though since you should only lock yourself Kyurem-W into Draco Meteor if you have removed all opposing Fairy- and Steel-types the enemys fairys/steels or if you have a very dedicated answer to Geomancy Xerneas and Calm Mind Fairy Arceus GeoXern and CM Arceus-Fairy, as you will end up Set-Up-Fodder for them after you KOed something with Draco. Usually, [ac] you want to spam Ice Beam since it is so amazingly spammable with very few real drawbacks, as it wears wearing down even very bulky resists such as like Primal Kyogre in conjunction with Stealh Rock really well, and it works even better with Stealth Rock. Keeping Stealth Rock set up SR on the enemy's side up at all times is really useful, as this allows since with them and Choice Specs equipped Kyurem-W to KO can score KOs on even the bulkiest of Pokemon tier in, [ac] at worst, [ac] 2 hits, [rc] while shatting nearly any offensive Pokemon with it´s trusty Ice Beam. You should be careful about letting Kyurem-W take damage, [ac] though You should be wary to take retaliation in form of enemy attacks, but not so much about status. On Specs Kyurem-W, [rc] a poison or a burn is not the end of the line because Kyurem-W will since you rarely stay in more than 2 turns if you neither misspredicted nor are cleaning. Try to remove Stealth Rock from Always be wary of SR on your own side of the field, as it will take away a chunk of Kyurem-W's health each time it switches in your weakness to them is utterly ruining your bulk. Be especially careful if your opponent possesses an Arceus of unknown type. It can help you out a lot to scout an enemy Arceus´ [remove this] forme, as Calm Mind since a CM Arceus is a very solid check to a Choice-locked Kyurem-W due to Kyurem-W not scoring if you are locked into something it is not weak against, since you can no longer score a 2HKO after Arceus has 1 CM Calm Mind boost.

Team Options
========

For Kyurem-W, Primal- [remove hyphen] Groudon is one of the best partners because it can set in general and specially defensive variants even more, are by far one of it´s best, if not the best partner. It can put up Stealth Rocks, spread paralysis paralyzis onto faster opponents, can take on Fairy Arceus-Fairy and Xerneas, [ac] and can phaze around to wear down the enemy team, easing OHKOs for Kyurem-W. Geomancy Xerneas is also a very good partner, as since Kyurem-W can either dispatch or wear down any Xerneas´ [remove] checks by coverrage or wear them down with its powerful Ice Beam. Phazing in general is much appreciated, so defensive variants of Primal Groudon, Dialga, [ac] and Primal Kyogre are fine choices for teammates (the latter 3 in their respective defensive variant). Furthermore, something to clean up after in the wake of Kyurem-Ws desolation is rather useful, such as for example Deoxys-A or Extreme Killer Ekiller-Arceus. They can easily clean the remnants of your enemies lines. U-turn and / Volt Switch users such as Yveltal, [ac] Scizor, [ac] and Zekrom can be a great asset to get Kyurem-W in as often as possible. Yveltal, Scizor or Zekrom could be used for that purpose. Additionally, a way to beat Ho-Oh besides for keeping up Stealth Rocks is appreciated. [add space] Rock Arceus can work Bringing Arceus-Rock can fit the bill nicely, but other general Pokemon fast pokes with Rock- or Electric-type moves such as like Zekrom, Landorus-T, [ac] or Blaziken can handle Ho-Oh well enough to not carry something as dedicated as Arceus-Rock. An answer to Extreme Killer Ekiller-Arceus is important, so you do not end up swept by it after you drop a Draco. [remove period] and physically defensive Yveltal can do this nicely. Finally, entry hazard removal in the form of or Rapid Spin would be ideal, but because since only Excadrill and Forretress can do this, [ac] you are usually better off just using a Defogger such as Latios, [ac] Latias like Lati@s, Giratina-O, [ac] or a Defog Arceus of any type (though Fairy and Steel tend to pair well with Kyurem).

Ice Beam is your reliable STAB-spam move that, [rc] which you'll be using most of the time. Draco Meteor acts as your ultimate nuke, dealing massive damage but forcing Kyurem-W you out as well. [period] [remove line break] Fusion Flare is for hitting Steel-types such as Scizor, Ferrothorn, Jirachi, Genesect, [ac] Heatran, [ac] and Steel Arceus-Steel, while still hitting Heatran. Roost is a good move to be able allows Kyurem-W to stay somewhat healthy while switching into Stealth Rocks and being able to replenish the HP lost from the Life Orb recoil. Another option would be Earth Power, [ac] which can be used for hitting Dialga (though you have to be careful of Shuca Berry variants, which can since those will survive and can easily OHKO back), Primal Groudon without resorting to Draco, Diancie, [ac] and can deal with Jirachi. Focus Blast is another option[remove space], but it is generally inferior because since the only really notable thing you cannot hit without it and can threaten with a Life Orb is Dialga, [ac] though with Focus Blast you don't have to worry about Dialga carrying without any worries about a Shuca Berry.

A Timid nature with an EV spread of 252 SpA / 252 Spe / 4 SpD investment is again used to give Kyurem-W you the ability to Speed tie other positively-natured base 95s Speed Pokemon, [ac] and outspeed neutral-natured Xerneas, Yveltal, [ac] Rayquaza, [ac] and other Kyurem-Ws, and allow it while also giving you the ability to switch into Stealth Rock SR 4 times without dying to it. As with Choice Specs, You can potentially go for a Modest nature, which slightly boosts Kyurem-W's damage output. [period] giving you a slight boost in terms of damage

Usage Tips
========

Your are generally best off spamming Ice Beam for neutral coverrage and damage, [rc] while using your coverage moves coverrage-moves accordingly. Do Only use Draco Meteor if you want to weaken a key pokemon or an important check on in your opponent's team or if you want to finish off a Pokemon that you couldn't have with any other move, since the drop foces you out. Also try keeping up entry hazards as long as possible, as Kyurem-W forces since your coverrage and power force many switches, which will rack up passive damage that allows you or a teammate to break past the enemy Pokemon easier. It is advisable to avoid status ailments, as they will wear down Kyurem-W faster due to it also taking Life Orb recoil since Burn/Toxic, Life Orb recoil and possible Stealth Rocks on your side wear you down extremely easy. Be wary of any unrevealed Arceus on the opposing in the enemies team, as Kyurem-W since you cannot OHKO a 252 HP Arceus on the switch with Draco Meteor while holding a Life Orb.

Team Options
========
As for any Kyurem-W set, Specially defensive Groudon is Kyurem-W's your best friend, as since with Life Orb, [ac] Kyurem-W has you have absolutely no way to break past Calm Mind CM Arceus formes and Fairy Arceus without hax in general and Arceus-Fairy in particular without haxing it. Thus a dedicated answer to it and Geomancy Xerneas is an absolute neccecity. Entry hazards are again much appreciated because since Kyurem-W forces many switches to wear down enemies. Geomancy Xerneas is again a very good partner, as since Kyurem-W can either dispatch any Xerneas´ checks with its coverage moves by coverrage without needing to predict switches or being locked into an suboptimal move. Calm Mind Arceus is even more threatening to With a Life Orb Kyurem-W equipped, phazing is even more appreciated, since CM Arceus is a much more severe thing, so Primal Groudon, Dialga, [ac] and Primal Kyogre are very valuable partners. Additionally, stallbreakers stall-breaker such as Yveltal or Mega-[remove hyphen] Gengar are appreciated to get around Blissey or some Calm Mind Arceus formes CM Arceus-forms, especially because since with a Life Orb, [ac] Kyurem-W has you have no way to get past Blissey. A Defogger such as Latias, [ac] Latios Hazard removal in form or Rapid Spin would be ideal, but since only Excadrill and Forretress can do this you are usually better off just using a defogger like Lati@s, Giratina-O, [ac] or a Defog Arceus of any type (though Fairy and Steel tend to pair well with Kyurem) is useful. Rock Arceus or any Pokemon with Rock- or Electric-type moves such as Zekrom, Landorus-T, and Blaziken can check Ho-Oh. [period] A way to beat Ho-Oh beside keeping up Stealth Rocks is appreciated.Bringing Arceus-Rock can fit the bill nicely, but fast pokes with Rock- or Electric-Moves like Zekrom, Landorus-T or Blaziken can handle Ho-Oh well enough to not carry something as dedicated as Arceus-Rock. Ice Beam is your reliable spammable STAB-spam move that, [rc] which will be your primary way source of dealing damage. [period] for revenge -killing and sweeping, Draco Meteor acts as your nuke, though it is rather risky to use with a Choice Scarf. Earth Power rounds out your coverage coverrage and gives Kyurem-W a move, giving you means to revenge-[remove hyphen]kill Mega Diancie, Choice Scarf Zekrom, [ac] and Dialga with; [semi] it also hits Primal Groudon, and hit Primal-Groudon harder than Ice Beam. Fusion Flare is used to dispatch Ferrothorn, Aegislash, [ac] Jirachi, [ac] and Scizor, while still hitting Jirachi while Sleep Talk is a fine option to be able to absorb Dark Voids from Darkrai. [period]

For this Set, A Modest nature with an EV spread of 252 SpA / 252 Spe / 4 SpD investment is used to allow Kyurem-W to Speed tie other neutral-natured Choice Scarfed Kyurem-Ws and to provide it with enough the optimal power to plow for cleaning through teams while also giving you the ability to switch into SR 4 times without dying to it. Kyurem-W will also be able to switch into Stealth Rock four times with these EVs. You can go for Using a Timid nature will allow Kyurem-W as well, gaining the ability to Speed tie with other positive-naturedly natured base 95 Speed Pokemon, [ac] Xerneas, [ac] speedbase pokemon as well as outspeeding neutral Xerneas and Yveltal, but the loss in power can be a hassle.

Usage Tips
========

Scarfed Kyurem-W takes a different approach to be used. Rather than flat-out wallbreaking for its team, Kyurem-W works it wants as a late-game cleaner and revenge [add space] killer. Be very careful when attacking using coverrage moves or Draco Meteor, as Kyurem-W you can be easily taken advantage of when locked into a suboptimal move. It is highly beneficial to keep entry hazards set up Hazards at all times due to Kyurem-W forcing since you force a lot of switches. Having Stealth Rocks off your side of the field is of major importance to allow Kyurem-W the ability be able to switch in and out a lot. Also, try to preserve Kyurem-W until late-game to keep it healthy and only come in to pick safe revenge [add space] kills, [ac] though only do this if to ensure your sweep won't doesnt get cut short by priority, [ac] such as Extreme Speed from Arceus. [period] ´ Extremespeed

Team Options
========
Choice Scarfed Kyurem-W and Primal Groudon compliment each other extremely nicely; [semi > comma] Primal Groudon appreciates Kyurem-W's the ability of Kyurem to revenge [add space] kill Ground Arceus-Ground, and while Kyurem likes to have a safe answer for Geomancy Xerneas and Stealth Rock SR. Entry hazards are again much appreciated because since Kyurem forces many switches to wear down enemies, so Pokemon such as like Primal Groudon, Klefki, [ac] and or Dialga that reliably set them up make for good partners.

Phazing can help is again a nice option to have to wear down enemy teams before Kyurem-W attempts to sweep, [ac] so Primal Groudon, Dialga, [ac] and Primal Kyogre can be are very valuable partners who can do this. Stallbreakers Stall-Breaker such as Yveltal or Mega-[remove hyphen] Gengar can take care of even more appreciated on the Scarf-Set around Blissey or some CM Arceus-forms, especially since with a Scarf you have no way to get past Blissey and other bulky Pokemon that Kyurem-W lacks coverage moves for very mons you lack coverrage for. Entry hazard removal in the form of or Rapid Spin would be ideal, but since only Excadrill and Forretress can do this, [ac] so you are usually better off just using a Defogger such as Latios, [ac] Latias like Lati@s, Giratina-O, [ac] or a Defog Arceus of any type (though Fairy and Steel tend to pair well with Kyurem). A Ho-Oh check such as Rock Arceus or any Pokemon with Rock- or Electric-type moves, such as Landorus-T, Blaziken, or Zekrom, is important because Ho-Oh can cut Kyurem-W's A way to beat Ho-Oh beside keeping up Stealth Rocks is important as it can cut your sweeps short with its massive Bulk. Bringing Arceus-Rock can fit the bill nicely, but fast pokes with Rock- or Electric-Moves like Zekrom, Landorus-T or Blaziken can handle Ho-Oh well enough to not carry something as dedicated as Arceus-Rock. An answer to Extreme Killer Ekiller-Arceus, [ac] such as physically defensive Yveltal, [ac] is also important, so you do not end up swept by it after you lock yourself into a weaker coverrage move or Draco. Physically defensive Yveltal can do this nicely.

Other Options
########

Substitute can be chosen on the Life Orb Attacker set, but the rapid decrease of Kyurem-W's your own health through Life Orb and Substitute in conjunction with a horrible defensive typing and a Stealth Rock weakness might cause Kyurem-W to take unnecessary damage leave any unneccecary damage to Kyurem-W undesired. [remove line break] Toxic is an option to wear down bulky Arceus formes that Kyurem-W can't break past otherwise. If you think Ho-Oh is a extreme threat you can run Stone Edge on the Life Orb; this will OHKO Ho-Oh LO set to score an OHKO even with an Attack-decreasing nature and give Kyurem-W it gives you a way to get past full defensive Blissey, scoring a 2HKO, but giving up but either coverrage or Roost is usually not advised. A set containing Substitute and Roost is also a possible option to pressure stall, but giving up important coverage moves coverrage hurts Kyurem-W a lot.

Checks & Counters
########

**Fairy-types**: The presence of Fairy-type Pokemon such as Xerneas, [ac] Fairy Arceus, [ac] and Diancie alone prevents Kyurem-W you from safely spamming dropping Draco Meteor, as since they are immune to it.Thus Xerneas and Arceus-Fairy and Diancie in particular, but to an extent also Sylveon and Clefable put pressure on you, though However, [ac] only Calm Mind Fairy Arceus a CM Arceus-Fairy can switch into Kyurem-W you rather safely if it is at on full health, since Ice Beam leaves all of them severly scathed.

**[remove space]Faster Pokemon Pokes**: [colon... you formatted it correctly the first time!] [remove line break] Many strong Pokemon that who are faster than Kyurem-W are very good checks to it, but none of them can switch in safely. [period > comma] Examples of these threats include for example Mega Mewtwo X/ and Y, (Choice Scarf) Xerneas, Latios, [ac] Latias the Eon Twins, Deoxys-A, Palkia, Blaziken, [ac] and Darkrai.

**[remove space]Blissey**: [colon] Blissey walls you, and While Blissey might be KOed by 2 Choice Specs-boosted Focus Blasts after Stealth Rock damage, [ac] it is difficult to execute and Blissey can avoid being KOed if it has Protect and Leftovers + SR you still need to predict that and hit both of them, and if the blissey carries Protect+Leftovers it can avoid even that.

**[remove space]Primal Kyogre**: [colon] Defensive variants of Primal Kyogre can eat up any hit directed at them and proceed to either stall you out, phaze you, or status Kyurem-W you, but they are worn down rather easily if not running Rest. Primal Kyogre can be defeated, [ac] though, if you keep Spikes and SR Stealth Rock set up.

**[remove space]Ho-Oh**: [colon] [remove line break] Although Ho-Oh is threatened While it is heavily threatend by Stealth Rocks, if it can get in unscathed, [rc] than it is an issue if it can switch in unscathed due to its excellent bulk and the fact that none of Kyurem-W's your moves can hit it for super effective SE damage. Keep a Stealth Rocks setter such as Rock Arceus on your team if you up at any time when you do not carry an answer to Ho-Oh, for example Arceus-Rock. [period]

**[remove space]CM Calm Mind Arceus formes**: [colon] [remove line break] Calm Mind CM Arceus formes are a really good check to you since they can set up a Calm Mind in your face and avoid being any 2HKOed if Kyurem-W does not have a super effective move if not hit super effectively. Be careful with using Draco Meteor, [ac] as dropping Dracos, since that could turn leaves Kyurem-W into setup fodder you as setup-fodder for them, though only specially defensive variants can switch into your Ice Beam and set up. [period]

**[remove space]Stealth Rocks**: [colon] [remove line break] Since Kyurem-W is weak to Stealth Rock; it takes away a lot of its health and leaves Kyurem-W SR weak they really hurt alot and leave you prone to being revenge killed. Try to not switching it Roost-lacking Kyurem-W into Stealth Rock them too often of you do not pack Roost, especially with Life Orb equipped. [period]

**[remove space]Steel-types**: [colon] [remove line break] Steel-types, while usually not enjoying Draco Meteor and Ice Beam can take a Draco Meteor or Ice Beam them and retaliate with their respective STAB moves to threaten Kyurem-W. They have to be careful of Kyurem-W's coverage moves, though; your coverrage though since Focus Blast can dispatch Steel Arceus-Steel, Dialga, [ac] and Heatran rather well while Fusion Flare can melt Genesect, Scizor, Ferrothorn, Jirachi, [ac] and Metagross. Usually, you want to Kyurem-W should spam Ice Beam, as it wears down even very bulky resists Pokemon that resist it, such as Primal Kyogre, (AC) really well, and it does so even better with Stealth Rock support. Keeping Stealth Rock set up on the enemy´s opponent's side up at all times is really useful, as it allows Choice Specs Kyurem-W to KO even the bulkiest of Pokemon in, at worst, 2 two hits. You should be careful about letting Kyurem-W take damage, (remove space)though a poison or a burn getting poisoned or burned is not the end of the line, as since Kyurem-W will rarely stay in for more than 2 two turns. Try to remove Stealth Rock from your own side of the field, as it will take away a chunk one-quarter of Kyurem-W's health each time it switches in. Be especially careful if your opponent posessess an Arceus of unknown type has an Arceus forme and has not yet revealed its type. It can help you out a lot to scout for an enemy Arceus forme, as Calm Mind Arceus is a very solid check to a Choice-locked Kyurem-W due to because Kyurem-W not scoring a is unable to 2HKO after Arceus has 1 one Calm Mind boost.

Primal Groudon is one of the best partners for Kyurem-W because it can set up Stealth Rocks, spread paralysis, take on Fairy Arceus and Xerneas, and phaze enemy team foes while racking up Stealth Rock Damage, easing OHKOs for Kyurem-W helping Kyurem-W achieve OHKOs more easily (be sure to specify what OHKOs it achieves). Specially defensive Primal Groudon is Kyurem-W'(apostrophe)s best friend partner, as with Life Orb, (AC) Kyurem-W has absolutely no way to break past Calm Mind Arceus formes and Fairy Arceus without factoring in hax. Entry hazards are much appreciated because Kyurem-W forces many switches. Geomancy Xerneas is (remove space) a very good partner, as Kyurem-W can dispatch every Xerneas check with its coverage moves. Calm Mind Arceus formes are is even more threatening to Life Orb Kyurem-W, so Primal Groudon, Dialga, and Primal Kyogre are very valuable partners. Additionally, stallbreakers such as Yveltal or and Mega Gengar are appreciated to get around Blissey or some Calm Mind Arceus formes, especially because with a Life Orb, Kyurem-W has no way to get past Blissey. A Defogger such as Latias, Latios, Giratina-O, or a Defog support Arceus of any type forme (though with Fairy and Steel tend to pairing especially well with Kyurem) is useful. Rock Arceus or any Pokemon with Rock- or Electric-type moves such as Zekrom, Landorus-T, and Blaziken can check Ho-Oh. Lastly, physically defensive Yveltal can act as an answer to Extreme Killer Arceus.

Ice Beam is your a spammable STAB move that will be your serves as Kyurem-W's primary way method of dealing damage. Draco Meteor acts as your nuke is incredibly powerful, though it is rather risky to use with a Choice Scarf (why?). Earth Power rounds out your Kyurem-W's coverage, and gives Kyurem-W giving it a move to revenge kill Mega Diancie, Choice Scarf Zekrom, and Dialga; it also hits Primal-(RH) Groudon harder than Ice Beam does. Fusion Flare is used to dispatch of Ferrothorn, Aegislash, Jirachi, and Scizor, while Sleep Talk is a fine option to be able to absorb Dark Voids from Darkrai.

A modest Modest nature with an EV spread 252 SpA / 252 Spe / 4 SpD is used to allow Kyurem-W to Speed tie other neutral-natured Choice Scars Scarf Kyurem-Ws and to provide it with enough power to plow through teams. Kyurem-W will also be able to switch into Stealth Rock four times with these EVs. Using a Timid nature will allow Kyurem-W to to Speed tie with other positive-natured 95 base 95 Speed Pokemon, Xerneas, and Yveltal, but the loss in power can be a hassle.

Usage Tips
========

Rather than flat-out wallbreaking for its team, Kyurem-W works as a late-game cleaner and revenge killer. Be very careful when attacking, as Kyurem-W can be easily taken advantage of when locked into a suboptimal move. It is highly beneficial to keep entry hazards up at all times due to Kyurem-W forcing a lot of switches. Having Stealth Rocks off your side of the field is of major importance to allow Kyurem-W to switch in and out a lot. Also, try to preserve Kyurem-W until the late-game and only come in to revenge kill, (AC) though only do this if your its sweep won'(apostrophe)t get cut short by priority attacks, such as Extremespeed Speed from Arceus.

Team Options
========

Choice Scarf Kyurem-W and Primal Groudon compliment complement each other extremely nicely; Primal Groudon appreciates Kyurem-W'(AH)s ability to revenge kill Ground Arceus, and Kyurem-W likes to have Stealth Rock support and a safe answer for to Geomancy Xerneas and Stealth Rock. Entry hazards are much appreciated because Kyurem-W forces many switches, so Pokemon such as Primal Groudon, Klefki, and Dialga make for good partners. Phazing can help to wear down enemy teams before Kyurem-W attempts to sweep, so Primal Groudon, Dialga, and Primal Kyogre can be valuable partners. Stall(remove space)breakers such as Yveltal or and Mega Gengar take care of Blissey and other bulky very Pokemon that Kyurem-W lacks the coverage moves for. Entry hazard removal in the form of Rapid Spin would be ideal, with Rapid Spin being preferred as to not remove Stealth Rock from the opponent's side. However, but because the only viable spinners in Ubers are only Excadrill and Forretress can do this, you are usually better off just using a defogger like Defogger such as Latios, Latias, Giratina-Oy, or a Defog support Arceus forme of any type (though Fairy and Steel tend to pair well with Kyurem-W). A Ho-Oh check such as Rock Arceus or any Pokemon with Rock- or Electric-type moves, such as Landorus-T, Blaziken, (RC) or Zekrom, is important because Ho-Oh can cut Kyurem-W's sweep short. An answer to Extreme Killer Arceus, such as physically defensive Yveltal, is also important. (period)

Substitute can be chosen used on the Life Orb Attacker set, but the rapid decrease of Kyurem-Ws own health through the residual damage from Life Orb and Substitute in conjunction with a horrible defensive typing and a Stealth Rock weakness might cause Kyurem-W to take unnecessary damage be worn down very quickly. Toxic is an option to wear down bulky Arceus formes that Kyurem-W can't break past otherwise. If Ho-Oh is a threat, you Kyurem-W can run Stone Edge on the Life Orb set; this will OHKO Ho-Oh even with an Attack-decreasing nature and give Kyurem-W a way to get past full defensive Blissey. A set containing Substitute and Roost is also a possible option to pressure stall, but giving up important coverage moves hurts Kyurem-W a lot.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Fairy-types**: The presence of Fairy-type Pokemon such as Xerneas, Fairy Arceus, (remove space)and Mega Diancie alone prevents Kyurem-W from safely spamming Draco Meteor, as they are immune to it. However, only a Calm Mind Fairy Arceus can switch into Kyurem-W rather safely if it is at full health.

**(remove space)Faster Pokemon**: Many strong Pokemon that are faster than Kyurem-W are very good checks to it, but none of them can switch in safely. Examples of these threats include Mega Mewtwo X and Y, (Choice Scarf) Xerneas, Latios, Latias, Palkia, (it's considered unviable) Deoxys-A, Blaziken, and Darkrai.

**(remove space)Blissey**: While Blissey might be KOed by 2 two Choice Specs-(AH)boosted Focus Blasts after Stealth Rock damage, it is difficult to execute unreliable to do so and Blissey can avoid being 2HKOed if it has Protect and Leftovers. (period)

**(remove space)Primal Kyogre**: Defensive variants of Primal Kyogre can eat up any hit directed at them and proceed to stall out Kyurem-W, phaze it, or cripple it with status Kyurem-W, but they are Primal Kyogre is worn down rather easily if it's not running Rest. Primal Kyogre can also be defeated, (RC) if you can keep Spikes and Stealth Rock set up.

**(remove space)Ho-Oh**: Although Ho-Oh is threatened by Stealth Rock, it is an issue if it can switch in unscathed due to its excellent bulk and the fact that none of Kyurem-W's moves can hit it for super effective damage. Keep a Stealth Rock setter such as Rock Arceus on your team if you do not carry an answer to Ho-Oh.

**(remove space)Calm Mind Arceus formes Formes**: Calm Mind Arceus formes can set up a Calm Mind and avoid being 2HKOed if Kyurem-W does not have a super effective move. Be careful with using Draco Meteor, as that could can turn Kyurem-W into setup fodder for them, though only specially defensive variants can switch into Ice Beam and set up.

**(remove space)Stealth Rock**: Kyurem-W is weak to Stealth Rock; it takes away a lot of its health and leaves Kyurem-W prone to being revenge killed. Try to not switch Roost-lacking Kyurem-W into Stealth Rock if it lacks Roost, especially with Life Orb equipped.

**(remove space)Steel-types**: Steel-types can take a Draco Meteor and Ice Beam and can retaliate with their respective STAB moves. They have to be careful of Kyurem-W's coverage moves, though; Focus Blast can dispatch of Steel Arceus, and Dialga, and Heatran rather well, (AC) while Fusion Flare can melt Genesect, Scizor, Ferrothorn, Jirachi, and Mega Metagross.

[OVERVIEW]

Kyurem-W is a terrifying wallbreaker in the Ubers metagame, possessing a sky-high base 170 Special Attack, a rather nice offensive typing, and a decent Speed tier that allows it to outrun quite a bit of the slower metagame. However, while generally nice, its generally nice Speed tier still leaves it outsped by quite a few Pokemon, and while its typing is good offensively, it provides little defensive benefit, making it hard to fit Kyurem-W on a team. Kyurem-W's strong STAB Draco Meteor is not as spammable it was in previous generations due to the introduction of strong Fairy-type Pokemon, such as Xerneas. Another weak point is that after Kyurem-W hits something with Draco Meteor, it can end up being setup fodder for a lot of Pokemon.

Ice Beam hits a large majority of the tier at least neutrally and is able to 2HKO many Pokemon. Draco Meteor is used to destroy about anything in the tier once all Pokemon that resist or are immune to Dragon and truly sturdy special walls are have been removed. Fusion Flare hits Steel-types such as Scizor, Ferrothorn, Jirachi, Genesect, Aegislash, and Bronzong for good damage. Focus Blast gets past Normal, Steel, and Rock Arceus as well as Blissey and Shuca Berry Dialga. Earth Power is another option to hit Diancie and Primal Groudon hard while still dealing super effective damage to Dialga, though you have to be careful of Shuca Berry variants. Sleep Talk is used to allow Kyurem-W to act as a sleep absorber.

252 Special Attack EVs and Choice Specs grant Kyurem-W the power to break through nearly anything with the proper move. A Timid nature and maximum Speed investment gives Kyurem-W the ability to Speed tie other positive-natured base 95 Speed Pokemon (RC) and outspeed neutral-natured Xerneas, Rayquaza, Yveltal, and opposing Kyurem-W. The remaining 4 EVs are placed into Special Defense rather than HP so that Kyurem-W can switch into Stealth Rock four times. A Modest nature can be used to further amplify Kyurem-W's damage output.

Usage Tips
========

Try bringing Kyurem-W in as often as possible during the early stages of the game and spam the appropriate coverage move, though you should only lock Kyurem-W into Draco Meteor if you have removed all opposing Fairy- and Steel-types or if you have a dedicated answer to Geomancy Xerneas and Calm Mind Fairy Arceus. Usually, Kyurem-W should spam Ice Beam, as it wears down even very bulky Pokemon that resist it, such as Primal Kyogre, (AC) really well, and it does so even better with Stealth Rock support. Keeping Stealth Rock set up on the opponent's side at all times is really useful, as it allows Choice Specs Kyurem-W to KO even the bulkiest of Pokemon in, at worst, two hits. You should be careful about letting Kyurem-W take damage, though getting poisoned or burned is not the end of the line, as Kyurem-W will rarely stay in more than 2 two turns. Try to remove Stealth Rock from your own side of the field, as it will take away a chunk of Kyurem-W's health each time it switches in. Be especially careful if your opponent has an Arceus forme and has not yet revealed its type. It can help you out a lot to scout for an enemy Arceus forme, as Calm Mind Arceus is a very solid check to a Choice-locked Kyurem-W because Kyurem-W is unable to 2HKO after Arceus has one Calm Mind boost.

Team Options
========

Primal Groudon is one of the best partners for Kyurem-W because it can set up Stealth Rocks Rock, spread paralysis, take on Fairy Arceus and Xerneas, and phaze foes while racking up Stealth Rock damage, helping Kyurem-W achieve OHKOs more easily. Geomancy Xerneas is also a very good partner, as Kyurem-W can either dispatch of or wear down Xerneas's checks. Phazing in general is greatly appreciated, so defensive variants of Primal Groudon, Dialga, and Primal Kyogre are fine choices for teammates. Furthermore, a teammate that can clean up after Kyurem-W is rather useful, such as Deoxys-A or Extreme Killer Arceus. U-turn and Volt Switch users such as Yveltal, Mega Scizor, and Zekrom can be great assets to get Kyurem-W in safely as often as possible. Additionally, a Pokemon that can deal with Ho-Oh is appreciated. Rock Arceus can work nicely, but other Pokemon with Rock- or Electric-type moves such as Zekrom(space)and Blaziken can handle Ho-Oh well enough. An answer to Extreme Killer Arceus is important, making physically defensive Yveltal a good choice. Finally, entry hazard removal would be ideal, with Rapid Spin being preferred as to not remove Stealth Rock from the opponent's side. However, because the only viable spinners in Ubers are Excadrill and Forretress, you are usually better off using a Defogger such as Latios, Latias, Giratina-O, or a support Arceus forme of any type (though Fairy and Steel tend to pair well with Kyurem-W).

Ice Beam is a reliable STAB attack and is the move that Kyurem-W be using most of the time. Draco Meteor deals massive damage, but the Special Attack drop forces Kyurem-W out as well. Fusion Flare hits Steel-types such as Scizor, Ferrothorn, Jirachi, Genesect, and Steel Arceus. Roost allows Kyurem-W to stay healthy after mitigate damage from switching into Stealth Rock and replenish the HP lost from the Life Orb recoil. Another option would be Earth Power, which can be used for hitting Dialga (though you have to be careful of Shuca Berry variants, which can survive and easily OHKO back), Primal Groudon, Diancie, and Jirachi. Focus Blast is another option, but it is generally inferior because the only really notable thing you Kyurem-W cannot hit without it is Dialga, though with Focus Blast you don't have to worry about Dialga carrying a Shuca Berry.

A Timid nature with an EV spread of 252 SpA / 252 Spe / 4 SpD / 252 Spe is used to give Kyurem-W the ability to Speed tie other positive-natured base 95 Speed Pokemon, outspeed neutral-natured Xerneas, Yveltal, Rayquaza, and other Kyurem-Ws, and allow it to switch into Stealth Rock 4 four times. You can potentially go for a Modest nature, which slightly boosts Kyurem-W's damage output.
