Introduction

Hello, everyone, this is Jer. B here, with my 7th Little Cup team; however, this is also my very first Smogon RMT, since I have been only playing with Pokemon Showdown, and I'm still quite new here; don't underestimate me, though, because in actuality, I'm a very capable Competitive Trainer.

Pokemon Showdown, like I said earlier, is pretty much my definitive Simulator for making Pokemon Teams, but I will say that regular Pokemon is superior, and that Pokemon Showdown is very so slightly watered down, but it's still very good, it's just "iffy" with the animations of moves.

About my Team

This team is pretty much a Shell Smash Team; with one exception.

More emphasis on Speed, and Priority.

One of my team members is meant to strike fear into the heart's of many; and I mean many Pokemon, and Trainers alike, while using it's definitive ability; Prankster, while also helping most of it's Teammates to be able to pick enemies off from the field, and end with a big, BIG bang (It's obvious what Pokemon I'm referring to; and no, it's not Cottonee).

Oh, and I also named them after D.C Comic Characters; why, you may ask?

Because they're awesome, and it further humiliates my foes.

My current score on the ladder is "1504" at the moment, which isn't bad, either, which is better than my last score "1501"; just a measly -3, but I can make it +2 more, if I could fit a Rapid Spinner instead to my team. :D

Seriously, though, on to the Team:

Building the Justice Team

Dwebble.

587.png

So yeah, it all started with Dwebble; possibly, one of the best Shell Smashers out there; and why?

It's high Speed, and it makes a great lead; sure, it may be weak to priority, and Stealth Rock, but it also has Sturdy; something Shellder wished had; Tirtouga can do the same job, it's just that I find Solid Rock superior, nor do I see, or use, Tirtouga that often, anymore.

Also, Dwebble is really cute, and one of the few cute Viable Pokemon in the Metagame; in fact, he is my favorite Bug/Rock Pokemon, more than Shuckle, plus, it doesn't have the accursed Ice Typing that Shellder has, and that 50/65/85/35/35/55 is excellent, even with low SpD, it's still very excellent at it's job, and that X Scissor/Earthquake are sort of more viable, and provide a decent Type Coverage.

His Superhero name shall be: Shazam/Captain Marvel, due to Shell Smash acting as "The Word of Power", the power that turns that kid named Billy into Shazam/Marvel.

Then, I used Wynaut.

587.png
360.png

Wynaut covers as a Stall, and makes Shell Smashin' much easier, with Encore. It also makes a very great Encore Bulky Stall.

It's Superhero Name shall be Ambush Bug; even though that Wynaut is not even a Bug, too me, it has an uncanny resemblance with Ambush Bug, seriously, those looks are just weird. Ironically, they're both on the same level of annoying, too; maybe it's just me, though.

Then, Mantyke and Croagunk.
463.png
458.png

Coupled with Rain Dance, Mantyke and Croagunk make an excellent synergy together; with Dry Skin, Croagunk is an almost unstoppable force, and so is Mantyke, with Rain Dance, too.

Their Superhero names should be AquaMan-Tyke and Bane; I broken the rules for names, haven't I?

Croagunk and Bane are like lost cousins; they use a stimulant to increase their strength (Dry Skin Rain Boost, and Poison, Venom for Bane), except Croagunk uses actual Venom, while Bane uses Drugs; plus, they're just plain scary too face off, and which is worse; a Frog with poison fingertips that has mastered the art of Martial Arts, or a muscleman that can destroy your entire spinal cord in seconds?

Then, the show stoppers, Murkrow and Misdreavus.

198.png
200.png

Murkrow can easily mess up many Pokemon, and he is my Main lead; sure, I said earlier that Dwebble was my lead, but only if Scarekrow can lay down either a Thunder Wave, and/or Confuse Ray, then switch to Wynaut, so it can encore, and then watch pain ensue for your enemies.

Misdreavus, or Circe, as I like to call her, can easily destroy Normal Types, and isn't weak to Stealth Rock, nor Stone Edge, and is excellent for facing off Togepi W/t AncientpowerPass; seriously, there is actually a set for that, and it sort of sucks.

NEW: As of May 20, I have updated my team with more suitable Pokemon:

Tirtouga, Ferroseed, and Natu

Anyway, this is my Team Build; it's finished, but not perfected, moving on.

Aquaman:

564.gif

EV's: 36 HP/236 Atk/236 Spe @Oran Berry (M)
Moveset:
*Shell Smash
*Stone Edge
*Waterfall
*Aqua Jet

Pros: Most Powerful, Physical Shell Smasher in the Metagame.
Has the best offensive Typing, Rock.
Stone Edge, too completely finish off Flying Types.
Can wreck a Chinchou in seconds.

With this set, Tirtouga is tough enough too take out even it's counters, Magnemite, Chinchou, or even Ferroseed with 1 Shell Smash; that, is powerful.

With Scarkrow, and Ambush Bug, on it's side with the combined might of Parafuscore, your enemy will probably have an impossible time trying to get back on his/her feet, allowing Tirtouga to lay down gigantic punishment.

Ambush Bug

360.gif

EV's: 76 HP/132 Def/212 SpD/88 Spe @Eviolite/Custap Berry (M)
Moveset:
*Counter
*Mirror Coat
*Encore
*Safeguard/Destiny Bond
Nature:Bold

Pros: Team Supporter, Encore, and Safeguard, Counter attacks enemys, Shadow Tag, to trap foes. Finally, Bulky as Hell.

Cons: Weak to Bug, and Dark Types, and can easily be picked off, if used incorrectly.

Wynaut is the beast of bulk in LC, and is nigh unstoppable, with Encore locked on your targets, allowing Tirtouga to score 1, 2, or even 3 Shell Smash's in a row, along with Murkrow; just make sure Stealth Rock isn't on the field, other wise, I might want Ambush Bug to stay clear.

Scarekrow

198.gif

EV's: 196 HP/180 Def/100 SpD/32 Spe @Eviolite (M)
Moveset:
*Thunder Wave
*Confuse Ray
*Roost
*Brave Bird
Ability: Prankster.
Nature:Careful

Pros: ParaFusion, Brave Bird, learns Heat Wave, and can use Roost.
Cons:Stealth Rock Weakness, and Fighting Weakness, if you used Roost, and can easily be taken out by a Rock Type Pokemon.

Prankster is extremely ESSENTIAL for ParaFusion to work; otherwise, Scarekrow wouldn't be the same; I don't care if Insomnia is the better ability, ParaFusion works just as well, and when combined with Ambush Bug's Encore...

That is the true, literal definition of "Fear"; anything that watches Scarekrow will be amazed by it's true power.

Finally, Circe

200.gif

EV's: 240 SpA/28 SpD/240 Spe @Eviolite (F)
Moveset:
*Shadow Ball
*Nasty Plot
*Thunderbolt/Psychic
*Will-O-Wisp/Power Gem/Taunt
Ability: Levitate.
Nature:Timid

Pros: Ghost Type, and is the Queen of LC, along with Murkrow, has Will-O-Wisp, and can destroy Normal Types, thinking they can overcome Misdreavus.

New Members

Steel over Mantyke.

597.gif

252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD @Eviolite (M)

Moveset:
*Spikes
*Leech Seed
*Stealth Rock
*Gyro Ball
Nature:Relaxed

Defensive Wall, and is named after a Super Hero who had a seriously bad movie, but is a complete badass in the comics; enough said.

Spellbender over Bane.

177.gif

200 HP / 80 Def / 196 Spe @Eviolite (M)
Moveset:
*FeatherDance
*Roost
*Hidden Power Flying
*U-turn / Toxic
Ability: Magic Bounce
Nature:Quiet

Pros: Turn's Hazard setters into Hazarding themselves, and their entire team.
Cons: Extremely weak to Dark, and Rock, even with Eviolite.
It's nemesis, Murkrow, is the exact opposite of Natu, and can destroy it, before it can make a U-Turn, but if Thunder Wave is chosen, instead, it can make Murkrow it's hoe.

Spellcaster can easily destroy several Hazard Pokemon, with Magic Bounce, and a single U-Turn, and pretty much make any hazard setup into a malfunction too destroy the opposing team.

Also, it just loves ParaFusion support from Murkrow, and passes back Thunder Wave to opposing Murkrow, so Murkrow and Natu make a great synergy, and vendetta, eachother; funny connection, since they were made since Gen 2, and have 1 Evolution...

Coincidence?

Replacement Submissions

Luvdisc for the Gogurt

tumblr_inline_mn4kg71ma01qz4rgp.png

(Seriously, though, Luvdisc's, erh, I mean, "Likes", should be hard earned, and should depend on the skill, or the viability, of the player; not E-Beg for likes, just like on other sites, such as Youtube.)

Anyway, Luvdisc, whether or not, you support this Thread, so thanks.

Conclusion

Anyway, that's my team; what do you guys think about my team, and if so, what do you think I should improve?

Looks like a pretty solid team to me, but it would be helpful if you did list the Pros snd Cons of Circe (and maybe a threatlist for each mon as well). Anyway, as you were confused about one of her moveslots, I would reccomend Thunderbolt instead of Psychic for coverage. Furthermore, you should eliminate Will o' Wisp due to the fact that it competes with T-Wave on your parafusion combo. I would suggest Power Gem because it "has the best offensive typing in the game", or you could resort to Psychic if you felt like it. That's all I'm here to nitpick about.

Hey there! Nice team! A quick look through the team reveals no Electric resistances. Something like Magnemite or Chinchou can Volt Switch all over your team, with Chinchou especially able to wreck you solo. My suggestion to deal with this is to drop Mantyke, as honestly Rain is quite underwhelming in LC. It doesn't help much with synergy, because you already have a bunch of Fighting resists. I would actually test out Shroomish over it. This might be a weird switch at first, but it your team is also quite weak to sand, and Shroom deals with it well. It provides Spore support as well as shutting down Chinchou completely. Since I'm on my phone I can't write the set, but it's the standard physical defensive one on the site analysis.

Now with this switch, we patch up a lot problems. However, with this, we open up a weakness to Murkrow and Fire moves. Now I propose another switch, keeping in mind your teams weaknesses offensively and offensively. Tirtouga is what I recommend over Dwebble. Tirtouga is a better sweeper than Dwebble using Shell Smash, and keeps even greater offensive pressure than Dwebble. It is consistent with the theme of your team, and does not detract from the bulky offensive style. You can once again find the set on the analysis.

Now that we made the major changes to cover synergistical problems, we need a few minor edits. First use Hidden Power Fighting over Thunderbolt because you get unresisted coverage. It is a necessity on Missy. Next use Taunt over Will o Wisp. The reasoning behind this is because your team has mons relying on Sturdy and a Stealth Rock weak mon. Taunt allows you to shut down hazard setters and also setup on defensive mons. Both switches are obviously on Missy. Overall, cool team. I hope I helped and good luck!

Hey nice looking Little Cup team!

Firstly I agree with Dcae's changes because they make your team better prepared for sand and just more solid in general. However the lack of a rapid spinner is still a problem for your team. Since Murkrow is weak to them and it can just wear down your team in general and quite possible make Wynaut to weak to use Mirror Coat or Counter on your opponent without fainting.

Honestly I think a Mold Breaker Drilbur would fit niceon your team since it can spin away hazards and provide you with Stealth Rock. However, I am finding it hard to find a replacement for it. I would try swapping out Wynuat for it and while its trapping abilities are nice. The role of rapid spin and hazards is to important to give up.

I am at school now and will lengthen this rate later

Thanks, Super, but I think I got it from here; I decided to use Feather Dance Natu, to solve all my Problems for Status, and Set Up Hazards; While Natu is weak to Set Up, it can easily destroy a sweeper with a Featherdance, and bounce off a Stealth Rock back too the foe; I think Drilbur is awesome, but Wynaut can sort of stay, for a little while, but I did try Drilbur for once, but it wasn't the effect I was expecting from you.
