Landorus

Recently, I've taken to using Adamant Choice Band Landlos with Mew @ Lagging Tail. Basically, you switch in Mew to scare something away, which is actually fairly easy this gen with the large amount of Fighting Types running around. A very bulky Mew can take a couple hits from weaker walls. Then you use Gravity, U-Turn to Landlos for free, and 2HKO anything. It works wonders against stall teams, since it tears a massive 52%-61% (2HKO on average with leftovers, guaranteed with SR) into Max HP/Max Defense+ Hippowdon, while mauling stuff that normally laughs at it, like Skarmory, Gliscor, Balloon stuff. You essentially get to launch 3 of those nukes without worrying about anything resisting it, since only Breloom and Ludicolo commonly resist, and they're both frail.

This thing is beastly. I'm glad it's being nominated for Suspect by a lot of people, because this thing rapes OU. A RP/SD set helps it outrun most of its 'checks' and destroy them with Sand Power boosted attacks.

Great. Your analogy to nukes makes me want to make a Gravity team too.

But it can't really revenge as well against things like Lati@s or Starmie

It doesn't need to, because it hits everything else far harder without set up, and can be used alongside Doryuuzu just fine, especially because he resist the bane of Dory, which is mach punch.

Here is a set I've just started using, inspired by Expert Belt Rachi of Gen 4:

Landlos @ Expert Belt
Jolly/Naive, Sand Power
252 Atk, 252 Speed
U-Turn
Earthquake
Stone Edge
Hidden Power (Ice)

This is a very good way to eliminate anything threatening Excadrill's sweep. U-Turn first to bluff the Choice Item, then on your next time in fire off an EQ to lure in a Flying/Levitator, and hit it hard with Stone Edge/HP Ice. With regular HP Ice Landlos becoming fairly common, I've found most Gliscor are tentative about trying to wall Landlos (most Protect to scout for HP Ice), but with this set I've found they're not at all.

I've also found this Landlos can eliminate his own checks and proceed to sweep late-game simply by your opponent expecting you to switch and becoming greedy (for example, a Voltolos came in after you EQ'd, NP's expecting you to switch to which you KO with Stone Edge).

All in all, I've found the surprise factor from this set can nab you some crucial KO's, however, it is understandably not as intimidating as the SD of RP sets.

Thoughts?

Yeah I do the same thing but with Dory. 3 Turns of mayhem and by then your opponents team is pretty much crippled.
RP+SD (on landlos) is really tough to counter though. Random HP Ice versions also suck :(

EDIT

3?

Don't you mean four? :/

I Swords Dance first
