Last RMT For A While - I'll Make It Good

Waterfall is a waste on Swampert, as the Pokemon who you'll be using it on take significantly more from Surf. Swap it for Surf/Hydro Pump and go Relaxed.

This thing isn't mean to trap Blissey unless its 40-50%. Who ever said Duggy could lied. Ice Beam and Grass Knot are scary.

Well yeah, like I mentioned in your last RMT, you'll need to go Adamant to 2HKO. You just need to decide how important the ability to revenge kill Infernape is. Considering you have a Togekiss that can outspeed and OHKO 'Ape with ease, I'd certainly be going Adamant. You've mentioned Dugtrio as your counter to Metagross, Jirachi and Tyranitar, but Jolly Duggy won't OHKO any of them...meaning you'll be the one pushing up daisies.

Your Duggy spread is OHKO'd by unboosted LO Extremespeed from Lucario too, just for reference. Be careful about trapping him if you don't know the set (and lets face it, they're all SD variants anyway). The following spread ensures that you 2HKO Blissey, OHKO CBTar and and stand a very good chance at OHKOing Tyraniboah and AgilaGross. It also makes sure you survive Lucario's Extremespeed and OHKO him in return, whilst still keeping out in front of positive nature base 100's.

Adamant
248 Atk/ 48 Def / 212 Speed

Since you didn't take my advice on Adamant > Jolly last time, here's some calculations!

Jolly 252 Duggy EQ w/ CB vs 152/0 Metagross = 84.37% - 99.41%
Adamant 248 Duggy EQ w/ CB vs 152/0 Metagross = 92.04% - 108.26%

Jolly 252 Duggy EQ w/ CB vs 60/0 Tyranitar = 92.70% - 108.99%
Adamant 248 Duggy EQ w/ CB vs 60/0 Tyranitar = 101.12% - 119.10%

Jolly 252 Duggy EQ w/ CB vs 252/0 Tyranitar = 81.68% - 96.04%
Adamant 248 Duggy EQ w/ CB vs 252/0 Tyranitar = 89.11% - 104.95%

Jolly 252 Duggy EQ w/ CB vs 252/252 + Blissey = 44.96% - 52.94%
Adamant 248 Duggy EQ w/ CB vs 252/252 + Blissey = 49.30% - 57.98%

So basically, you're giving up a LOT of important power just to revenge kill Infernape - even though you already have an excellent Infernape revenge killer in Togekiss!

That is hands down the most well-done 'Boah I've seen on Smogon. Kudos.

On my Phazer I usually give 4 extra Speed EVs to Roar/Whirlwind out the same Pokemon before they do so to me.

His boah is just the standard set on smogon...

An opposing Tyranitar looks like it could give you more problems than Infernape so I recommend changing Dugtrio's nature to Adamant to give it a 100% chance of KO.

Edit:beaten by Lee

Do you guys just go down the thread and post when you see something wrong XD ?

I went with Jolly Dugtrio stritcly because Mystica told me too. But I know better than to go against Lee.

@RedSP since I will run Adamant Dugtrio again I don't see Tyranitar being much of a problem anymore.

I'm having huge problems with Grass Knot Blissey at the moment.

I'm having huge problems with Grass Knot Blissey at the moment.

Dugtrio weighs 73lbs, meaning he takes 60BP from Grass Knot. Unfortunately that doubles to 120, but he still only takes 44-51% from a Blissey with no SpA EVs. Now that you're Adamant, Dugtrio should have no problem with Blissey as long as he gets in safely. It's a pretty safe 2HKO, especially if Swampert gets his Stealth Rocks down.

The problem with Grass Knot Blissey is Swampert, and Starmie. Usually Tyranitar can get a Sub up first so he is no trouble. Dugtrio won't even come in because of a fear of Ice Beam.

So the fact I have 4 weaknesses to Grass isn't significant?

I'm very sorry for coming into this thread and going to ask something not related to your team. But can anyone define me what's 'Revenge Killing' is?

I thought it was this:

Enemy's Pikachu kills Pidgey.
Player brings Geodude in, which then kills enemy's Pikachu.

If I'm wrong on this one please say so, and again sorry for coming into your thread asking about this. I just thought it wouldn't be worth it to make a new topic about it.

Oh and, nice team! Atleast, I think it is. :naughty:

I don't really think Grass Knot Blissey is really an issue. I've been playing D/P since it came out and I don't think I've ever seen a Blissey use Grass Knot. BTW, I once used a Timid 252 Sp. Attack Raichu that failed to OHKO a Dugtrio with Grass Knot.

Right.

Grass Knot on Togekiss over Flamethrower would give much better coverage.

About the Gengar entry on your threat list. You know you can't use Dugtrio to sucker punch Gengar since most people would just switch out predicting it, right? Life orb Gengar can rampage through your team 2HKOing or 1HKOing everything on it. You could say you could revenge kill it with Togekiss or Starmie, but neither will 1hko it even after losing 20% of its health and Togekiss dies to thunderbolt assuming rocks are down; Starmie's fate is obvious if it sticks around.

I've come to realize this every time I arrogantly switch in Tyranitar and Dugtrio. When dealing with Gengar, Togekiss has done this the best, and to some extent Swampert. Unfortunately the only members on my team I am willing to tweak are Starmie, Dugtrio, and Tyranitar.

To help deal with Gengar I could add in a Lucario or Jirachi over Starmie but then I would end up losing Spin support.

I think you will find Roaring Zapdos away more useful than being Pressure stalled by Bold versions, that WILL easily survive Earthquake and just take away precious PP. I don't know what to suggest >Waterfall since you cover dragons and Gyarados very easily, maybe Hammer Arm? The coverage with Earthquake is terrible but you hit Tyranitar harder and Weavile, both of which have common variants that beat your Swampert-DD Black Glasses Tyranitar 2HKOs with Crunch while you 2HKO with EQ, Swords Dance Weavile 2HKOs with Ice Punch while you 2HKO with EQ. Just something to think about considering you have levitating/flying poke coverage already with Cresselia.

I love your Togekiss, looks like it could really shit on stuff.

No apparent weaks, just some things that could be either way based on personal preference. Oh yeah, SubSeeding Sceptile might give you trouble even tho sandstream negates its leftovers.

Zapdos isn't as common as you'd like to think. With Stealth Rock up Zapdos won't be winning any battles against my team considering Dugtrio has Earthquake, Tyranitar Ice Beam, and Cresselia Ice Beam.

I've already gone with A Relaxed nature and Surf over Waterfall. Though the Fighting attack would be welcomed.

SubSeeding Sceptile is a bit troublesome if I let it set up as it tends to waste my PP. So yeah it is trouble some :-\

team looks good,
for CStogekiss, I was recently thinking of one too.
but mine was: 36hp/252satk/216. to outspeeed skarfhera too.
witch i don't see anyother counter for with you too

My Togekiss is faster than yours. Besides Choice Scarf Heracross outspeeds them both.

Wait I think I battled and beat this team very recently! The quiet nature on Ttar came back to bite you when I whipped out my max speed CBTar. So that's a lesson, you might want to change TTar for CBtar or maybe even DDtar. Max speed on boah is generally not a good idea though.

I really can't think of anything else, this is a very solid team. I wish I could make teams like this :/

I don't see your team do anything to something like CM Cune though, except maybe swampert could roar it away but after a few CMs swampert won't be the best switch in. Charge beam cress could do something about it though...

Agh I keep trying to find a weakness in your team but I can't! Well done.
