Left 4 Dead 2

Last Man on Earth was kind of scary, until I realized that SI don't incap you, they just put you at 30 temp health with black and white. After learning this, the game simply became a matter of speeding through and trying not to allow too many SI to follow. In the event that you get hit once, you just need to pick off any tailing SI and then use a medkit. (Medkits are incredibly abundant.) It seems like tanks actually make the level easier, since I don't think the director spawns additional SI while they are alive. On DC, I had a tank that I allowed to follow me from start to the gun shop, at which point I used a molotov and killed it on the straight-away.

The only parts that I found really nerve-wracking were during finales when a tank is chasing you and getting caught means getting killed by the tank. In this sense, playing the game on expert actually makes the game easier (because you get freed from the jocky/hunter faster than you would on normal). I'm not sure if you can unlock the "something to prove" achievement by beating the mutation on expert, but if you can, it's probably the easiest way to do it.

My favorite mutation so far has been Bleed Out. I'd kind of like for Bleed Out to make its way to versus as well, as it solves the main problem with versus mode. Normally, survivors have too many kits and can stall indefinitely to bait spawns, but forcing them to bleed out from the start puts pressure on them and makes for faster and more exciting games.

i havent even touched mutation, i mean i can bairly beat the campaigns on expert, mutation seems harder!

versus is my favorite tho

The mutations aren't THAT hard. I manage Last Man on Earth just fine, and I am raped on expert.

Regarding that, I tried to do Parish LMoE on Expert. I didn't get to the bar with the jukebox. Either a hunter/jockey pounced me and then clawed me when I stood up, or I tried to get the Level A Charge-achi and failed miserably.
Which is quite easy to get here actually. If you take Easy, there will most probably only spawn 1 SI, and if this is Charger, you can work on it. Took me about 30 mins of frustration though: Either I missed the melee-hit, or I hit and it didn't kill the charger. And after a charge you needed to get some ground so he can charge again. I would suggest Swamp Fever first chapter for this, because it is easy to dodge there. It is possible other places though, I got mine in Parish, the park in chap 2. Just be sure you got an adrenaline, a ranged weapon and some patience.

holy shit

Last Man On Earth is incredible. I have been getting raped on Normal Mode trying to do Dead Center. However, LMoE does teach you one or two awesome things:

- How to watch for enemies. This is a big deal, since most SI will cost you a life when they connect.
- How to NOT GET HIT by them. This includes me getting really, really good at melee interrupting a Hunter pounce, meleeing the Smoker tongue, meleeing a leaping Jockey, juking a Charger, etc.

You can melee a smoker tongue before it starts dragging you? Cool, I gotta test that out later.

Also, I agree on the interruptions. Only one of the hunter/jockey/charger-combo I can't usually avoid is Jockey; I never seem to get the hit in. Maybe I am aiming too low on that?

But excuse me, I believe Chainsaw Massacre has just come. I'ma go and splatter up some zombies now.

Yeah, if you turn and melee the tongue while it drags you but before you're incapacitated, it will break the tongue.

Oh also... Cr0wned a witch for the first time during Last Man on Earth. Awesome.
