jokes aside mega floette could still stick around depending on the ability it gets, it's living in a tier with like five / six fucking steel types and it is still a very good mon, especially if it gets fairy aura and just resorts to clicking moonblast against everything (please don't give it fairy aura please don't give it fai)
the other guys will be getting worse and that is a big sad but if nothing else mega victreebel won't be getting too much worse, no self-respecting steel type wants to switch into a toxic, sadly falinks and malamar weren't particularly great even with their nutty abilities (mono fighting type + four moveslot syndrome and being malamar)

Knowing Gamefreak , Floette will get something like Adaptability but only against Mega Pokemon. That +2 Moonblast is going to hit Mega Scizor soooo hard.

It’s a dice roll really.
Terapagos got 1 amazing ability in its Tera form, then uses only an okish ability for its Stellar form.
More often you get the good abilities though.

couple of routes. keep Levitate for the bronzong larp, Punk Rock flavor's off but it's the closest thing mechanically, i guess Soundproof blocks all the new pshots running around + the odd roar/psynoise but Magic Bounce is ten times that
hugeass transformer automaton with a reactor inside him. Steam Engine no? turns your base 55 insane if you position right
Protean with ur cute coverage pool? tbolt/dpulse/energy/now ep and moonblast? really feeling it w/ the split design. best part is! you're monotype so you can delay the proc and click CM
on the fence with Stakeout. like it's coming off One Fifty Seven Base but itttt doesn't actually sound that broken here? gives him a unique presence under TR at least
hit n run bulky attacker from day one. massive def but next to no recovery. Regenerator. dude
you get such a free line into Merciless. setup as they hit you, maybe tech endure then mega and start clicking. could even bounce between debris and corrosion in base depending on the m/u

Mega Dimension just dropped, and I'm excited to play with the new Megas! I have some suggestions for abilities that some of these should get:

DLC content spoilers ahead

Mega Evolution: Mega Garchomp Z
New Ability: No Guard
Reasoning: it loses its Ground type and becomes a fast mixed glass cannon, so to compensate, making Draco Meteor, Dragon Rush, and Fire Blast always land would really help it out. Also, in the dex entries (haven't seen the new mega dex entry yet) it says Garchomp never lets its prey get away. Levitate sounds viable and lore-accurate too, but imo that's boring.

Mega Evolution: Mega Chimecho
New Ability: Levitate
Reasoning: I know, that's the same ability it already had. But now it gets the Steel type, and we all know how powerful that combination is...

Mega Evolution: Mega Glimmora
New Ability: Merciless
Reasoning: I think that by just taking a look at it, you'll understand why. Poison Point may be more appropriate, but it doesn't really come in handy

Mega Evolution: Mega Raichu X
New Ability: Reckless
Reasoning: Being a physical Electric type is tough, especially when even as a Mega, other Pokémon still outclass you. Except in one thing, and that's Volt Tackle. So why not just make Volt Tackle even more powerful?

Give this dry skin. It fits design wise. It fits competitively and checks important pokemon like greninja and skarmory. It also checks excadrill if you give it some bulk. Not only it will be playable and become meta staple. It will also revolutionize the existing meta, reducing over-redundancy on pokemon like skarmory and hence allowing more pokemon originally afraid of skarmory into play
