With Mega Skarmory I guess you could stay in base to try and get weak armor boost, Mega after and try to work, hopefully they change how acrobatics works with Mega Stones, doesn't have enough hp to spam brave bird and we already have star raptor that could achieve what Mega skarmory does.

Is that really surprising? Galarian Slowboro couldn’t Mega Evolve in GO. It’s just some coding thing that allowed National Dex justifying Galarian Slowbro’s Mega.
alright i've gone through the alt form dex entries to make a list of everything scrubbed and non-tagged (doesn't have a number like [~1234]) that could be a new mega or something in the DLC. i should note that most of the stuff seems to be in natdex order, but there are also some spots where there aren't even enough tagged + untagged scrubbed entries combined just to account for everything that already exists so who knows what that means.
there are a lot more entries with tags than what i put down here, but i didn't wanna list them all. if any of you have computers that don't hate bulbapedia, you might wanna go through the text dump and compare them to existing alternate forms
- raichu x2 (duh)
- 3 things between clefable and alakazam
- something between glowbro and mega gengar
- another one between gengar and kanga
- between starmie and pinsir (mega jynx real?)
- snubbull, granbull, or qwilfish
- 3 things after ttar (probably the hoenn starter megas)

The middle Falinks struggling to hold up the others... there's so much charm and personality in this design. Straight up might be one of the best ones visually.

People are reporting that auto save is mandatory (you can't turn off) and the game always saves after you catch a pokémon. You can't reset for IV zero or shiny.
This is so minor, but I can't wait to find out the height and weights of the new megas.

-The 3 between Clefable & Alakazam are likely the Meowths & Alolan Persian. The one squeezed in there would be GMax, which is tagged unlike its neighbors being scrubbed. This aligns with mewoth (& perrserker) being on the other list.

-The one between Gengar & Kangaskhan is I think meant to be Alolan Marowak. In my list here I have it as Alolan Exeggutor, but Exeggutor isn't on the other list; Marowak is. I would need to see where Alolan Marowak/Exeggutor are internally in other games but it's what makes the most sense to me. If it is meant to be Exeggutor I'd argue it was probably them scrubbing the wrong one on accident.

-I think the first scrub is meant to be Staraptor. The scrub list for gen 4 is very small and Staraptor is the only one available before the burmy.

I don't think anyone's mentioned this yet but holy hell the custom trainer animations for using their Mega Rings (err, Mega devices at this point) are going to be so so peak, this one included
How do we still not have the full TM list yet
no idea if it will be any help, but maybe this can help narrow down possibilities. The Mega stones from the dimension trailer should correlate at least in part to some of the mons receiving it. Not that mega stones reflect the colors of the Mega, not exactly the base form, so its not 100% Gospel, but whatever works, right?
