Good point, but wasn't there information in the pre-load/patch they found regarding the Raichus? That is how they found the Heatran, Darkrai and Zeraora.

Quite the opposite; SciresM (one of the dataminers) said that there was no trace of the Raichu Mega Stones in the pre-load data (whereas the item flags for Heatran, Darkrai, and Zeraora’s Mega Stones were present), so it’s likely all base Z-A.

Also the fact we don't have a full body screenshot for some reason is super suspect.

There is practically no reason to not have a full body picture on display at this point unless you're trying to hide the fact it's fake.

i know :(( i just wanna see my favorite pokemon’s mega… lemme have hope

Still seems like no full dump. Is this the longest it has taken to get a full datamine prior to release?
The dataminers do not have a physical copy of the game afaik and cannot break past the encryption of the preload. The only reason we have any data right now is because the day one (day zero?) patch wasn't encrypted.

I’m kinda fine with there being no datamine at this point tbh, I only want to see designs / base stats / potential abilities but I have zero willpower so..

If the datamine comes around Tuesday-Wednesday that would be perfect :psysly:

Poryleaks spoke to someone who played through the game, here are some tidbits:

- Kanto starters are given out by Mable after a couple of side quests
- Kalos starters are available via side quests but eventually appear in wild zones
- Rated mega Excadrill, Barbaracle, Scolipede and Froslass highly. Did not like Feraligatr, Starmie or Pyroar
- There’s a shiny mareep quest similar to the ponyta one from PLA
- Feraligatr’s helmet only closes when it attacks
- “not many” buildings can be entered and the shops are mostly menus again

I think I’ve officially made up my mind I won’t be getting this game, at least not on Day 1. I’ve been arguing with myself on this long enough and I was hoping anything from the leaks, datamines, etc. would help me make my decision for this coming Thursday but everything I’m seeing so far isn’t convincing me to spend $70 on this at any point, and the Mega Feraligatr design is even worse than I expected. So much for wanting to pick Totodile. Not like it’s going to be viable anyways when I’m pretty confident the Life Orb Sheer Force set is going to hit harder than the Mega would unless they give it a strong enough new Ability in Champions (which I also won’t be playing).

The various references to other media are neat, I suppose, and there are some new additions I’m mildly interested in, but I’ve never been a fan of generational gimmicks anyway and speaking as someone who’s really only interested in the game’s story if anything, I can easily save myself the time and effort and just watch this on YouTube or something. Maybe I’m just chronically online too much but I think the overwhelming negativity surrounding this game is finally starting to get to me, because I feel nothing about any of the confirmed information we do have in this thread, and I skimmed through practically every post here.

The difference between this and the combination of Legends Arceus and SV is that the last two games I was just barely able to be convinced to get those games and I enjoyed both of their main stories more than I expected, though I still didn’t care for Paldea’s “open world” and completing the PokéDex in Legends. The only thing to do in those games when you’re done with the story is Shiny hunt, and I have something else more specific I prefer over Shinies. Based off of confirmed information Legends ZA does look to be more structured than SV was which is nice, and I personally welcome the smaller map size since Paldea had to be designed with the Union Circle in mind, but again, this comes with the caveat of a higher likelihood of less content and especially less content beyond the DLC that will actually interest me. Going from “I hate that YouTubers keep spoiling the game” to “I actively want to see spoilers to know if this is even worth it” is not a good look for this game at all, at least for me as an individual. The last time I felt this way, I watched the death of an entire genre unfold right before my eyes at the ripe age of 13 and didn’t even know the last game existed for a while after that. Granted, Pokémon is much, much more popular than those specific games were, but it is still something that scares me especially with all of the hot water Pokémon is in these days.
