[OVERVIEW]

Lickilicky is outclassed by Audino as a WishPasser, as Regenerator grants Audino more longevity; by Bouffalant and Ursaring as a wallbreaker, as they boast a much higher Attack stat; and by other Normal-types in general. However, Lickilicky holds its notch above Bouffalant thanks to its access to Knock Off, allowing it to hit Ghost-types that would otherwise wall it. Lickilicky also has great bulk, meaning it can take hits rather well to effectively set up Swords Dance and boost its Attack to frightening levels. On the other hand, Lickilicky's typing gives it no notable resistances, meaning it can be worn down very easily by repeated attacks, and this problem is exacerbated by its lack of direct and reliable recovery. Lickilicky is also very prone to being revenge killed, as it is very slow and thus outsped by many other Pokemon.

evs: 168 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def / 84 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

Swords Dance doubles Lickilicky's Attack, allowing it to net KOs that it would be unable to get prior to any boosts. Return is Lickilicky's only STAB move and does a great amount of damage to anything that doesn't resist it, especially after a boost. Knock Off notably hits Gourgeist-XL, a nuisance for most Normal-types to deal with, and it also provides utility in removing items; for example, it can remove the Eviolite from Misdreavus, allowing Lickilicky or a partner to easily take it out. Earthquake hits Rock- and Steel-types such as Probopass and Pawniard, which resist Return and can usually shrug off any damage from an unboosted Knock Off. Body Slam can be used instead of Return if you favor the chance to paralyze the foe over a higher damage output.

Set Details
========

A Lum Berry is used so that Lickilicky is not crippled by status moves such as Gourgeist-XL's and Misdreavus's Will-O-Wisp, allowing it to take them on much better. Maximum Attack EVs and an Adamant nature allow Lickilicky to hit as hard as possible, while 84 Speed EVs allow it to outspeed uninvested base 60s, namely Vullaby. The remaining EVs are invested in Defense and HP to improve Lickilicky's already good bulk.

Usage Tips
========

Lickilicky should be used early-game so that it can deal as much damage as possible before it faints, allowing its teammates to clean late-game. In order to retain as much health as possible, bring Lickilicky in after a teammate has fainted or through a slow momentum-gaining move. This way, it is able to stay healthy and set up Swords Dance a bit more easily. Lickilicky should be using Return and Knock Off most of the time, as the former has good neutral coverage and the latter cripples Eviolite users such as Vullaby and Misdreavus.

Team Options
========

Lickilicky appreciates having a teammate that can deal with Fighting-types. Pokemon that provide this support include Mr. Mime, Altaria, and Clefairy. Revenge killers such as Ninjask and Chatot, as well as Pokemon such as Floatzel, Pawniard, and Ursaring, appreciate Lickilicky's ability to wallbreak, as it makes it easier for them to achieve KOs. Furthermore, Pokemon that can set their own hazards, such as Golem and Clefairy, are also useful partners, as they make gaining KOs easier for Lickilicky. Roselia and Quilladin also provide Spikes support. Slow Volt Switch or U-turn support from Pokemon such as Vullaby is appreciated, as Lickilicky does not like getting worn down quickly, and these Pokemon can safely get it in. Pokemon that are able to effectively spread paralysis, such as Grumpig and Stunfisk, can slow down the foe, making revenge killing Lickilicky much harder. Furthermore, Stunfisk and Grumpig can switch into Monferno for Lickilicky and KO it with their respective STAB moves.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Lickilicky can run a specially defensive set with Wish, but this is outclassed by Audino, which simply performs the role of a defensive Pokemon much better thanks to its ability Regenerator. Choice Band can be used to allow Lickilicky to hit harder, but Lickilicky loses the freedom it has with the other items and is left more vulnerable to revenge killing when locked into a move. Furthermore, Stoutland can run the item better thanks to its higher Speed. Power Whip can be used to hit Golem and Relicanth super effectively, but Earthquake already hits these Pokemon as well as Probopass and Pawniard. A Chople Berry + Counter + Own Tempo set can be used to take on No Guard Machoke more effectively, but this is a rather unorthodox method of dealing with it, as well as other attackers with Fighting-type coverage moves. Hammer Arm can be used to hit Probopass and Pawniard super effectively, but the Speed drop is rather undesirable, as Lickilicky is already very slow and needs to maintain its Speed so that it can outspeed Vullaby. A set consisting of Curse / Sleep Talk / Rest / Return can be used to counter stall better and utilize Lickilicky's bulk well, as well as making Lickilicky a threatening attacker. While Munchlax is blessed with Eviolite and Thick Fat to help it run this set better, Lickilicky would not have to rely on its item for its physical bulk and can run other items unlike Munchlax, which is crippled once its Eviolite has been removed. Explosion can be used as a last resort when Lickilicky has done its job. Substitute can take the place of Lum Berry in order to allow Lickilicky to easily set up Swords Dance and dodge status. However, forgoing a coverage move causes Lickilicky to be walled by either Steel-, Rock-, or Ghost-types.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Fighting-types**: Machoke and Monferno are very threatening, as they carry super effective Fighting-type coverage in Dynamic Punch and Close Combat, the former of which OHKOes Lickilicky, while the latter needs to be boosted in order to OHKO it. However, both take quite a bit of damage from a +2 Return, and Monferno doesn't like switching into Earthquake.

**Strong Physical Attackers**: Strong physical attackers such as Stoutland, Dodrio, and Ursaring are able to severely weaken or revenge kill Lickilicky due to their better Speed and high Attack stats.

**Residual Damage**: Lickilicky is vulnerable to status inflictions once Lum Berry has been used up, meaning Will-O-Wisp users like Gourgeist-XL can prove difficult to deal with. Additionally, Lickilicky can be worn down over time by entry hazards, which can make it harder for it to set up with Swords Dance and at the same time make it easier to be revenge killed.

**Physically Defensive Pokemon**: Due to their high Defense, Pokemon such as Vullaby and Gourgeist-XL take very little damage from Lickilicky's moves and deal heavy damage with Foul Play.

Definitely has the best grammar for a first analysis I've ever seen. Since this is your first, I'll try to go over general things that you should keep in mind when writing analyses that are consistently showing the same errors, I underlined those lines

Overview
If the main set is swords dance, the first bullet point should not be about being outclassed. Yes, it should mention that licky is outclassed in both its SD and defensive wish sets, but specifically talking about wish first doesnt make sense. Also you never say the SD set is outclassed, this needs something about how bouff is a better normal booster, other normals like stout are better in general, etc
You don't need to specifically refer to how much it has in each stat when talking about attributes
It's not a sweeper as much as a wallbreaker, easily is a bit positive for this
This also absolutely needs something about its coverage, the main niche it really has over bouff or w/e is knock off to bonk ghosts
Also the bulk is kinda glossed over, the fact that it can take a couple of neutral hits while boosting to at least trade a lot of the time is pretty significant
Overall you list some qualities without really going over what this mon does and what its place in the meta is. This is more difficult with a mon like licky which doesnt exactly have a place but it still doesnt really explain much about the mon

Moves
The description of return is really odd, you mention it doing good damage to totally random seeming targets that arent known for physical bulk at all. All I need to know is that it's licky's main STAB and strongest move
I don't know if other QC told you to put body slam there, in which case ignore this, but the power drop seems kinda significant for a dumb chance and I'd rather remove the slash and keep it in moves if somebody didn't specify that
KOff hits all ghosts, mentioning geist specifically is good but it's not just geist
Again with EQ, you keep naming specific mons it hits and not going general to specific like "Earthquake hits Rock- and Steel-type Pokemon such as Golem and Probopass" to give examples but also general types. Also no reason to specifically mention hitting leads, it's information that kind of changes on the game and you don't anti-lead those mons at all and they don't have to be leads so don't go specific unless it's really useful
Also I don't really see a reason to keep splitting up things like return and eq points between bullets, it's just kind of annoying from an organization perspective to me but if it really works for you then it'll get fixed in writeup anyway

Set Details
Example of thing that would burn licky but you now do a lot to. like now you can SD and beat missy on switch, do more to geist, etc
next 2 bullets are kind of redundant, if you're looking for more to say then an example of a mon lum helps against is best, and it's not really guaranteeing free setup either given that you're slower than most stuff
Lefties isn't exactly nothing, the specific issue is being really vulnerable to status which is a problem for a boosting mon whose main niche is hitting ghosts which often carry wisp

And this is where set details gets odd because there are a ton of inconsistencies with the EV spread. In the analysis you say it beats unboosted base 70s like gourgeist XL. Gourgeist XL is not base 70, and, while you say "and below", this is confusing and you should mention a base 70. However, your EV spread doesnt do that. It outspeeds uninvested base 68, which is zero speed Seaking and Gogoat which just arent relevant things to speed creep. I'm fairly certain anty told me he wanted lickilicky to outspeed uninvested base 60, and beating vullaby makes way more sense. In that case, the EV spread you're looking for is 106 HP / 252 Atk / 84 Spe. So fix that up and mention vullaby as the thing to outspeed, not gourgeist xl. Oh, and you forgot to mention what 252 attack adamant does

Usage Tips
I have legitimately no idea what the first bullet is supposed to mean. I think it's "don't use licky if they have something to kill it" which is just simplistic and not needed in the analysis
Licky is not a lead and I have no idea where this idea comes from
Why can't I switch into entry hazards? Should I use a teammate to remove them first? Expand
And the last point again is kind of odd and doesn't really tell me when I should use it, "earlier or later" doesnt help and you havent mentioned the possibility of just removing hazards
Other than pivoting into special attackers, none of your usage tips are telling me how to use the mon, just your general opinions and impressions. These need to give an idea of what to do and how to play it. Things like "set up swords dance when predicting a will-o-wisp user such as Misdreavus to switch in" or something, don't just copy that point but I need to know what to do, what coverage to click, etc. If this is a massive issue for you then maybe the mon wasn't the best to pick for an analysis and I can give some pointers but for now I'll trust that you can come up with some better stuff before I check it again.

Team Options
I really don't think wishpass is that vital for a mon that's here to fulfill one purpose and often trade. it doesnt need longevity and it doesnt wall things, just remove this entirely. Same with healing wish
I think you mean fast cleaners, not frail revenge-killers? Those are two totally different things, frailty shouldn't matter here and these mons need to clean weaken teams not revenge sweepers which licky doesn't impact
Give examples of hazard removers
Heal Bell is again not a necessary support option for a mon which totally doesn't need cleric support, although in the future if you were to mention this you'd want more examples
Again, awkward bullet splits that just make me double take and i don't know why you'd have them, if they help then ok tho. Also mention spike users, and it'd make more sense to mention clefairy in fighting checks and then not down here
I get the idea of mentioning leavanny but unless you're sure that it's a mon which has been proven to work on webs and have seen successful teams, I wouldn't mention it since the role of trading to lure ghosts isn't useful for the archetype and not resisting anything really sucks for such an offensive playstyle, plus overlap with purugly kinda
Pelipper isn't PU
Mention things that like licky taking out ghost types, setup sweepers that can use wallbreaking, checks to strong phys attackers that beat it like stout, maybe think of some other stuff too since that's all I've got off the top of my head. Since most of this was cleric support there isn't much depth or too many things to use with licky here.

OO
Choice band isn't really similar as it holds a different role and "letting things switch to a counter" isn't why it's bad or all choice items would suck, that's p simplistic. It's actually just being straight outclassed by stout and bouff with no reason to use it. Also for general appearances, please mention defensive first as it is the most relevant other thing you could possibly use
dont mention life orb, you'd never want to chip urself. Silk scarf is fine. Also the whole talking about wish thing is just odd and doesnt need to happen
Gorebyss and Simipour are not power whip targets, that's more for hitting golem, relicanth, etc harder than eq plus you already donk those with return and cant actually set up in your face at all (if you havent used a mon, it's usually not the best thing to reserve unless you're sure) also mention the drawback of losing eq to hit pawn, probo, etc etc
explosion description doesnt really make any sense to me but it's probably right? I cant tell
chople berry + counter
hammer arm
You don't have to be fully positive about every other option, don't forget to mention how hammer arm doesn't hit stunfisk as well, chople counter is kinda gimmicky and loses lum which is important, etc

C&C
You could mention how neither fighting types really want to switch in, machoke takes a fair amount from +2 return and won't be able to check other stuff and monferno drops to EQ. Don't forget to mention drawbacks here as well
There's literally no reason to mention burns separate from status inflictions and you already have lum berry. I'd remove both and make another section for residual damage, I think what you're looking for is being chipped by hazards, sometimes status if lum gets burned, and weaker attacks
Also another category for strong physical attackers which revenge it and another for physically defensive pokemon since stuff like vullaby, colbur solrock, gourgeist, probably a couple of other random things can still check it even though it's kinda built to beat physical walls
Since C&C is done in order of threat, the new order should be Fighting types / strong physical attackers / residual damage / physically defensive pokemon

This is a lot of stuff and multiple sections need major revamps so tag me when implemented and I'll look over it again Sobi

I'll be able to check this tomorrow but at a glance it looks like you mostly just copied my words exactly from the check without really adding anything new and in some cases copying things that weren't intended to be in the analysis at all. For example I was suggesting licky is terrible on webs and that should be removed and you added something about purugly being a teammate when I said it outclasses licky not goes well with it, and the section on physical walls is just copying the mons I said without anything else. I also don't see anything new in UT/TO off the top of my head. It would really hellp if you could fix that now so I don't have to correct instances like that in my next check.

Megazard:
I looked through the analysis, removed extraneous / copied parts and added a bit extra of my own, so do check it whenever you get the time. Like I said this is my first analysis, but i'll keep in mind what to do for future analyses :)

Yeah that's my bad, I figured out the correct EV spread, went to copy it, then PS changed the EVs. It should be 168 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def / 84 Spe with the same purpose for everything but extra HP and 4 in def to not have a SR number (which you don't need to mention in SD)

Overview
Bouff still has decent bulk so I don't think the second part of that sentence is necessary. It's just not as good as licky's
You could say how fighting weakness kinda sucks in this meta in the typing part

Moves
Give examples of rock and steel types (I assume u meant steel not ground) and also mention stunfisk

Set Details
You forgot to mention the HP investment, which is the new ev spread anyway

Usage Tips
You say licky should be brought in on a free turn to not take an attack, then later say it can pivot into special attackers. I just would remove the first UT, the only attackers you really need to avoid is "don't switch it into CB Dodrio" or something which is p obvious
Something about using it to break early for a late game sweep rather than preserving it would be good

Team Options
I'd just remove kadabra from things that handle fighting types, it doesn't want to switch into anything except mienfoo I guess
I think you mean fast revenge killers?
Still missing spikes users in the entry hazard section

Other Options
EQ already hits probo and pawn, the description for hammer arm should be about it hits random things like some normals and ices stronger, but overall nothing too important since you can hit them with return so EQ is generally better for no speed drop

C&C
The thing about +2 return in fighting types sounds like licky can SD on monferno switch and not just die, machoke doesnt like taking the +2 return but monferno doesnt like switching into eq/return. it could just be worded better
Purugly is not a strong physical attacker and monferno was already mentioned. you want new things like stout, leaf, dodrio, ursaring, etc (just pick a couple of examples)

zDganmZ.gif

This is looking a lot better, 1/3 when you implement the check

can you mention Curse Rest-Talk (Crolicky) in other options? It's really fat and a good bulky win-condition. Although it seems outclassed by Munchlax, it has Lefties which is great for longevity and it has immunity to TAunt/Encore which is fantastic against archetypes like Dundies stall.

I will add this in because it seems like a good strategy tbh, if anybody has a problem with this, do let me know, or forever hold your silence :heart:

Dont mention Probopass as teammate, you would never use both on the same team. This looks good and no one else seems to have anything to say so 2/3.

[OVERVIEW]

The fact that Lickilicky is outclassed by Audino as a WishPasser, as it has Regenerator granting it more longevity; Bouffalant as a wallbreaker; and other Normal-types in general makes it seem like it has nothing going for it. However, Lickilicky holds its notch above Bouffalant thanks to its access to Knock Off, allowing it to hit Ghost-types that would otherwise wall it. Also, unlike Bouffalant, Lickilicky cannot be Taunted out of setting up via Swords Dance. Lickilicky also has great bulk, meaning it can take hits rather well, unlike most Normal-types. Its decent Attack stat can be boosted to frightening levels with Swords Dance, which works well with its bulk, as most Pokemon only manage to get a few boosts before being put into KO range, rendering those boosts useless, though this is usually not the case for Lickilicky

(In the very next sentence, you talk about how it is slow and prone to being revenge killed, so realistically, Lickilicky is rarely setting up more than one Swords Dance - what you wrote here makes it sound like it regularly sets up multiple boosts.

So, I would edit this crossed out portion and simplify it down to something to the effect of: "Lickilicky can use its natural bulk as a means to set up Swords Dance and boost its Attack to frightening levels.")
.

On the other hand, Lickilicky's typing gives it no resistances (immunity to Ghost-type moves counts), meaning it can be worn down very easily by repeated attacks, and this problem is exacerbated by its lack of direct and reliable recovery. Lickilicky is also very prone to being revenge killed, as it is very slow and thus outsped by many other Pokemon.

Moves
========

Swords Dance boosts doubles Lickilicky's Attack, allowing it to net KOs that it would be unable to get prior to any boosts. Earthquake hits Rock- and Steel-types such as Probopass and Pawniard, as they resist Return and can usually shrug off any damage from an unboosted Knock Off. Body Slam can be used instead of Return if you favor the chance to paralyze the foe over a higher damage output.

Set Details
========

A Lum Berry is used so that Lickilicky is not crippled by status ailments from Pokemon such as Gourgeist-XL's and Misdreavus's Will-O-Wisp, allowing it to take them on much better. Alternatively, Leftovers can be used, though Lickilicky favors the one-time chance to dodge a status infliction over passive recovery. The EV spread allows Lickilicky to be as bulky as possible while still being powerful and fast (Lickilicky isn't fast, so this could be reworded - I know what you're saying here though.) Maximum Attack EVs and an Adamant nature allow Lickilicky to hit as hard as possible, while 84 Speed EVs allow it to outspeed uninvested base 60s, namely Vullaby. The remaining EVs are invested in Defense and HP to improve Lickilicky's already good bulk.

Usage Tips
========
Lickilicky should be used early-game so that it can deal as much damage as possible before it faints, allowing its teammates to clean late-game. Make sure you don't send Lickilicky in when there are entry hazards out on the field, as it can get worn down by them very easily, especially if it is continually being sent out. It also lacks a way to recover its HP, making it easier for it to be revenge killed. It is best to switch Lickilicky into special attackers such as Kadabra, though Lickilicky must be wary of Focus Blast, since its special bulk allows it to tank their hits with ease.This was true for its Specially Defensive set, but SD Lickilicky should actually avoid trying to switch directly into things, as it needs to preserve its bulk in order to not be revenge killed as easily and in order to more reliably set up with Swords Dance. Instead, write that it should be brought in after one of its teammates has been fainted, or via a slow momentum gaining move. Lickilicky should be using Return and Knock Off most of the time, as the former has good neutral coverage and the latter cripples Eviolite users such as Vullaby and Misdreavus. When you predict a switch or a status move being used by your foe, use Swords Dance, so as to set up a potential sweep if the former happens or take advantage of the Lum Berry if the latter happens.

Team Options
========

Lickilicky appreciates having a teammate that can deal with Fighting-types, as it usually struggles against them. Hazard control is especially useful, as Lickilicky dislikes getting worn down, so Pokemon that can provide this, such as Vullaby and Swanna, make for good partners. Furthermore, Pokemon that can set their own hazards, such as Golem and Clefairy, are also useful partners, as they make gaining KOs easier for Lickilicky. Roselia and Quilladin also provide Spikes support, and Roselia resists Fighting, making it a good switch-in to most Fighting-type attacks as far as what you wrote with regard to Rose, it's true that it can switch into a predicted Focus Blast on Lickilicky's behalf, but that's it; Close Combat users (Monferno especially) beat Roselia. Finally, slow Volt Switch or U-turn support from Stunfisk STUNFISK DOESN'T GET VOLT SWITCH or Vullaby is appreciated, as Lickilicky does not like getting worn down quickly, and these Pokemon get safely get it in. Pokemon that are able to effectively spread paralysis, such as Grumpig and Stunfisk, are able to slow opposing teams down to the point that Lickilicky becames harder to revenge kill. Additionally, Stunfisk and Grumpig can switch into Monferno on Lickilicky's behalf, and then KO it with their respective STAB moves afterward.

Lickilicky can run a specially defensive set with Wish, but this is outclassed by Audino, which simply performs the role of a defensive Pokemon much better thanks to its ability, Regenerator. Choice Band can be used over Lum Berry or Leftovers to allow Lickilicky to hit harder, but Lickilicky loses the freedom it has with the other items and is left more prone to revenge killing when locked into a move it doesn't want to be locked into. Furthermore, Stoutland can run the item better thanks to its moderately higher Speed. Power Whip can be used to hit Golem and Relicanth super effectively, but it is fairly unreliable due to its low accuracy, but Earthquake already hits these Pokemon as well as Probopass and Pawniard. A Chople Berry + Counter + OWN TEMPO set can be used to face NO GUARD Machoke more effectively, but it is a rather unorthodox method of dealing with Machoke. and has no use outside of that. Hammer Arm can be used to hit Probopass and Pawniard super effectively, but the Speed drop is rather undesirable, as Lickilicky is already very slow and needs to maintain its Speed for outspeeding Vullaby. A set consisting of Curse / Sleep Talk / Rest / RETURN can be used to counter stall better and utilize Lickilicky's bulk well, as well as making it a threatening attacker. While Munchlax is blessed with Eviolite AND THICK FAT to help it run this set better, Lickilicky does not have to rely on its item for bulk, and can run other items unlike Munchlax, which is severely crippled once its Eviolite has been removed. Finally, Explosion can be used as a last resort when Lickilicky has done its job. Substitute in tandem with Leftovers can take the place of a Lum Berry and allow Lickilicky to set up Swords Dance more easily. However, using Substitute over a coverage move causes it to be walled by either Steel- and Rock-types or Ghost-types.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Fighting-types**: Machoke and Monferno are very threatening, as they carry super effective Fighting-type coverage in Dynamic Punch and Close Combat, the former of which OHKOes Lickilicky, while the latter needs to be boosted in order to OHKO it. However, both take quite a bit of damage from a +2 Return, and Monferno doesn't like switching into Earthquake as well.

**Strong Physical Attackers**: Strong physical attackers such as Stoutland, Dodrio, and Ursaring are able to severely weaken or revenge kill Lickilicky due to their better Speed stat and high Attack stats.can revenge kill Lickilicky with their priority moves, severely weaken it, or easily chip away at it due to being faster than it.

**Residual Damage**: As Lickilicky lacks any form of recovery outside of Rest, which is very unreliable, Lickilicky is prone to status inflictions once Lum Berry has been used up, meaning Will-O-Wisp users like Gourgeist-XL can prove difficult to deal with. Additionally, Lickilicky can be worn down over time by entry hazards, which can both detract from its ability to set up with Swords Dance and make it easier to be revenge killed.

and priority attacks. (Lickilicky is so slow that mentioning priority attacks in multiple fields doesn't make a whole lot of sense, since everything that would run a priority attack just shy of bulky Sucker Punch Golem is faster than it anyway).

**Physically Defensive Pokemon**: Due to their high Defense, Pokemon such as Vullaby, Gourgeist-XL, and Dusknoir (Dusknoir takes a lot from +2 Knock Off: +2 252+ Atk Lickilicky Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. 212 HP / 0 Def Dusknoir: 270-318 (95 - 111.9%) -- 68.8% chance to OHKO) take very little damage from Lickilicky's moves and can status it once Lum Berry has been used or simply attack it with Foul Play.
This was well written, Sobi. Thanks for paying attention to our grammar standards and making this easy for me to read. Read and implement the bolded edits, and be sure to delete the portions that I crossed out (like so), and then I'll stamp it for 3/3.

Oops, not quite yet. There was some stuff that wasn't implemented yet. Don't rush it, read the bolded portions carefully, make the edits, and delete the things that are crossed out. Thanks!

Overview:

"Its ability, Own Tempo, also prevents it from being Taunted, allowing it to freely set up Swords Dance without the fear of being Taunted."

^This should be Oblivious; Own Tempo prevents confusion.

Set Details:

--> Maximum Attack EVs and an Adamant nature allow Lickilicky to hit as hard as possible, while 84 Speed EVs allow it to outspeed uninvested base 60s, namely Vullaby. The remaining EVs are invested in Defense and HP to improve Lickilicky's already good bulk.

^This sentence cuts out some fluff and makes it more concise than what you have written there now.

OO:

"A Chople Berry + Counter + Own Tempo set can be used to face No Guard Machoke more effectively, but it is rather gimmicky and has no use outside of that."

^This set just lures and Counters moves like Stoutland's Superpower, Ursaring's Close Combat (dependent on +2 or no, or if it's just going for Facade), Monferno's Close Combat (+2 or not), etc. and Chople also helps it take Focus Blasts better, so just write this instead:

'A Chople Berry + Counter + Own Tempo set can be used to face No Guard Machoke more effectively, but it is a rather unorthodox method of dealing with Machoke, as well as other attackers with Fighting-type coverage moves.'

C&C:

**Strong Physical Attackers**: Strong physical attackers such as Stoutland, Dodrio, and Ursaring are able to severely weaken or revenge kill Lickilicky due to their better Speed stat and high Attack stats

^add the word 'high' to indicate that they are able to threaten Lickilicky by outspeeding and checking it with their wallbreaking abilities, not that their Attack is necessarily higher than Lickilicky's (it is, but that's not the point of this sentence - you're just saying that faster, strong attackers beat Lickilicky due to its low Speed, basically).

Lickilicky is outclassed by Audino as a WishPasser, as it has Regenerator granting grants it more longevity; by Bouffalant as a wallbreaker, as it boasts a much higher Attack stat; and by other Normal-types in general. However, Lickilicky holds its notch above Bouffalant thanks to its access to Knock Off, allowing it to hit Ghost-types that would otherwise wall it. Its ability (RC) Oblivious (RC) also prevents it from being Taunted, allowing it to freely set up Swords Dance without the fear of being Taunted against potential users of the move. Unlike most Normal-types, (AC) Lickilicky also has great bulk, meaning it can take hits rather well, unlike most Normal-types. Lickilicky can use its natural bulk to effectively set up Swords Dance and boost its Attack to frightening levels.

[SET]
name: Bulky Swords Dance
move 1: Swords Dance
move 2: Return

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

Earthquake hits Rock- and Steel-types such as Probopass and Pawniard, as they which resist Return and can usually shrug off any damage from an unboosted Knock Off. Body Slam can be used instead of Return if you favor the chance to paralyze the foe over a higher damage output.

Set Details
========

A Lum Berry is used so that Lickilicky is not crippled by status ailments from Pokemon moves such as Gourgeist-XL's and Misdreavus's Will-O-Wisp, allowing it to take them on much better. Alternatively, Leftovers can be used, though Lickilicky favors the one-time chance to dodge a status infliction affliction over passive recovery.

Usage Tips
========
Lickilicky should be used early-game so that it can deal as much damage as possible before it faints, allowing its teammates to clean late-game. Make sure you don't send Lickilicky in when there are entry hazards out on the field, as it can get worn down by them very easily, especially if it is continually being sent out. When you predict a switch or a status move being used by your foe, use Swords Dance, so as to set up a potential sweep if the former happens or take advantage of the Lum Berry if the latter happens.

Team Options
========

Lickilicky appreciates having a teammate that can deal with Fighting-types, as it usually struggles against them. Entry hazard control is especially useful, as Lickilicky dislikes getting worn down, so making Pokemon that can provide this, such as Vullaby and Swanna, make for good partners. Furthermore, Pokemon that can set their own hazards, such as Golem and Clefairy, are also useful partners, as they make gaining KOs easier for Lickilicky. Roselia and Quilladin also provide Spikes support, and Roselia is able to switch into Focus Blast for Lickilicky, making it a good switch-in to the move. Slow Volt Switch or U-turn support from Pokemon such as Vullaby is appreciated, as Lickilicky does not like getting worn down quickly, and these Pokemon get can safely get it in. Pokemon that are able to effectively spread paralysis, such as Grumpig and Stunfisk, can slow down the foe, making revenge killing Lickilicky much harder. Furthermore, Stunfisk and Grumpig can switch into Monferno for Lickilicky and then KO it with their respective STAB moves.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Lickilicky can run a specially defensive set with Wish, but this is outclassed by Audino, which simply performs the role of a defensive Pokemon much better thanks to its ability (RC) Regenerator. Choice Band can be used over Lum Berry or Leftovers to allow Lickilicky to hit harder, but Lickilicky loses the freedom it has with the other items and is left more prone vulnerable to revenge killing when locked into a move it doesn't want to be locked into. Furthermore, Stoutland can run the item better thanks to its higher Speed. Power Whip can be used to hit Golem and Relicanth super effectively, but Earthquake already hits these Pokemon as well as Probopass and Pawniard. A Chople Berry + Counter + Own Tempo set can be used to face take on No Guard Machoke more effectively, but it is a rather unorthodox method of dealing with Machoke it, as well as other attackers with Fighting-type coverage moves. Hammer Arm can be used to hit Probopass and Pawniard super effectively, but the Speed drop is rather undesirable, as Lickilicky is already very slow and needs to maintain its Speed so that it can outspeed Vullaby. A set consisting of Curse / Sleep Talk / Rest / Return can be used to counter stall better and utilize Lickilicky's bulk well, as well as making it a threatening attacker. While Munchlax is blessed with Eviolite and Thick Fat to help it run this set better, Lickilicky does not have to rely on its item for bulk (RC) and can run other items unlike Munchlax, which is severely crippled once its Eviolite has been removed. Explosion can be used as a last resort when Lickilicky has done its job. Substitute can take the place of Lum Berry in order to allow Lickilicky to easily set up Swords Dance. However, using Substitute over forgoing a coverage move causes Lickilicky to be walled by either Steel-, Rock-, or Ghost-types.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Strong Physical Attackers**: Strong physical attackers such as Stoutland, Dodrio, and Ursaring are able to severely weaken or revenge kill Lickilicky due to their better Speed and high Attack stats.

**Residual Damage**: Lickilicky is prone vulnerable to status inflictions once Lum Berry has been used up, meaning Will-O-Wisp users like Gourgeist-XL can prove difficult to deal with. Additionally, Lickilicky can be worn down over time by entry hazards, which can make it harder for it to set up with Swords Dance and at the same time make it easier to be revenge killed.

**Physically Defensive Pokemon**: Due to their high Defense, Pokemon such as Vullaby and Gourgeist-XL take very little damage from Lickilicky's moves and can status it once its Lum Berry has been used or simply attack it with Foul Play.
